Stainforth Express in Doncaster

We ordered our food via just eat at 8.45 pm said it would be delivered by 9.20 -9.40 bear in mind it was only 2 kebabs . I was getting ready to ring at 9.45 when it said it’s on its way it arrived at 10 pm no apologies it was greasy and lukewarm the salad smelled funny the bag it arrived in was dripping in water not a pleasant experience and won’t be back again I’m afraid

Worst kebab I have ever had. Paid dearly for it later that evening.

Kebab look like over cooked too dry. As didn’t eat all only half. Won’t order kebab again. Cheese with fries great!

Order was wrong when it came,foned up and said it was wrong and there sent the right order and food was nice

The fries were so over cooked that they were hollow and just tasted of hard crunchy oil. Surely it wouldn’t have taken that long to re do them? The pizza was really hot and the order was early so there was no need to expect anyone to try eat them fries

Wrong pizza turned up after it was late and to top it off pizza was cold aswell.

Ordered 2 fudge cake ended up with 1 fudge cake and a pot of prawns 🤔 very strange 🤣

Chicken was burnt, and so inedible. Very poor. Asked for sauce on the side and it was all over the kebab. Won't be returning!

It was late at night and it was open still and that's the only good thing about the place. The food was awful. My partner had a kebab and he felt sick afterwards. I had chips with bolognese and it was hours old 4 sure and sauce was disgusting. Almost all I've put to the bin. I'll never recommend that place.

Worst. Kebab. Ever. Salad nice but covered in chilli sauce before realised it tasted like hot soap. Kebab meat absolutely vile, salty and nasty tasting. Thank goodness fries came with the deal be ause the rest of our meal has gone in the bin.

Delicious kebab! And they always allow me to swap the pita bread for extra salad 😋

Ordered bbq chicken pizza but was missing the onions and mushrooms and tasted bland so was a massive let down. I know this company can do better as ive had great pizza from here in the past but lately its been too consistently bad so i wont be ordering from here again.

Delivered someone else’s order. That being said when I called they were really apologetic and had our order cooked and out to us again within 20 mins. Food was lovely. Had a bit of the food that was delivered by accident as they didn’t take it back and can recommend the burgers. Won’t put me off ordering again, mistakes happen and they rectified it perfectly.

There was a problem with my order but they did fixed it straight away. Other than that food was nice

I used to order for here most 😕 when I have a takeaway but this kebab was hard a and burnt 🤢 I wouldn't have fed it too the dog

Fantastic service and exceptional delivery as usual, but the food this time was really sub-par. We ordered fried chicken as we had done before, but instead of the usual stuffed and fried chicken breasts, it was standard (bone in) chicken pieces. This wasn’t a problem in itself, but the chicken was soaking in grease, and the coating was very thick and not properly cooked, so it was soggy with grease and held even more grease between that and the skin, making the chicken more grease and bones than meat , and the whole lot completely inedible unfortunately. At least the chips were good as they were packed separately. I can’t recommend this takeaway enough though, this is the only meal we’ve had that wasn’t fantastic.

I had requested a specific time so that we could eat as a family as was awaiting hubby to come home after a long journey and it arrived early so was freezing cold by the time he got home spoke to the restaurant and all they could offer was a reluctant apology and nothing else

Was a little disappointed with the pizza this time really greasy but will probably give another chance st some point...

Really disappointed today. We've been ordering from stainforth express regularly because the food is usually the best you can get in Thorne. The pepperoni pizza had all the cheese and topping stuck all over the box and none all on the pizza. Looked like it'd been shaken up a few times! The cheesy chips were cold also. To be fair, it's always been great quality and hopefully tonight was a one off.

That's the second time we have ordered garlic bread with Donner and there has been no garlic on it , I will not be using this outlet again I have used them slot in the past but there standards have dropped

Last takeaway option as it was late, but barely any meat in both wraps, cheap nasty salad and chips. Seriously need to sort their ingredients out, I won’t be ordering again. I didn’t order a salad wrap. Was meant to be chicken

Delivery driver basically punched my window before even knocking at the door. Then as I got to the door I heard a bang. I opened the door and my drink was rolling away and he shouted something while walking away before I even got to say anything.

Kebabs are so yum from here. Loads of salad, meat is yummy and loved the chilli sauce! Chips were a bit too oily today and cheese tasted a bit tinny, but have been great in the past. Kebabs were fabulous so didn’t really ruin the meal. Super quick delivery, thank you!

Mushrooms and onions on almost every pizza shocking

Never had bad food from here before , unfortunately the chicken tasted like the oil was years old , had to peel the skin of just to eat the chicken.

Really disappointed this time, I regularly order but today the meat was very dry and rubbery like it was left overs from the weekend Chips did not have chip spice on them as advertised on their menu Not sure it was a large portion either

The food was alright but came chucked all over the place in the tray. Was 15-20 mins late since on top of the 45 min delivery.

They forgot the pepperoni on my pizza, but I always order from these are they've never messed up before! Won't hold it against them :)

Food was half an hour early and so fresh! It was so hot and the cheese poppers were like they'd just come out of the fryer. I will be ordering again and I can only hope it's off the same standard. Great food and great service!

Took an hour to arrive, paid £1.60 for extra toppings that weren't added to the order

Kebab meat was overdone, seemed old and was cold. Salad was nice and seemed fresh but not the main item of the meal. Chocolate fudge cake nice and normal.

I ordered a kids meal and no pop came with it and the free garlic bread was burnt and black

Surprisingly not as good as usual. Less topping and not very hot. Pizza base very chewy.

Normally the food is great but the chicken and lamb wrap was burnt completely and wasn’t edible this time.

We were shocked by the amount of grease that could come off it, we expect a little to be there but could literally poor it out of the containers Not impressed! And it was obvious that we both got the last bits of the night as they were shavings and was very very cold and bland Will not be ordering from here again

Decided to try somewhere new, ordered on just eat for delivery at 7pm, at 7.15pm rang to see where the order is... on its way we were told. Fine, we'll listen out for it. Takeaway rang at 7.40pm, 40 mins late(!!) to be told they dont deliver to our area... not only have we wasted well over an hour waiting for delivery, weve also spent £25 to be told we have to get that back from just eat. Really not happy... both been on 12 hour shifts from 5am and we're starving. Now having to wait another 45 mins from another takeaway.

Pizza dough wasn't cooked through which was surprising as it was supposed to be thin crust but was more like deep pan, something on the pizza smelled off, only had one slice as it tasted so bad. Will not order from here again, I never leave reviews but laid in bed with stomach ache which must have been caused by the little amount I ate.

Food arrived late, message said that the restaurant was busy than expected. Even though the food was ordered 10 minutes before opening. When the food arrived it was left on the door step in rain. The food was stone cold!! Ordered wraps 1 with salad 1 without both arrived with salad on!

Says they open at 4pm apparently they open at 430 asked why was late by 30 minute because they don't open till 430 and drivers don't start till 5pm. False advertisement. Very rude no apologies for lateness and wrong order. Wouldnt recommend

Chicken kebab wasn’t cooked through properly. Cheese on the chips wasn’t melted and food was fairly cold.

Bone found in food, almost snapped off my brace bracket and it cut my gum, not a small bone either and doesnt look like a bone from a chicken. Disgusting.

First time I've had it for a while from here..still decent..

Ordered 2 pizzas and coleslaw. The coleslaw was incredibly sour and unedible. Rang and spoke to the shop and the guy said he may have put too much lemon in it when he made it! Pizza cheese also lacked any flavour too, would have struggled to identify it if inwas blind folded. Disappointing as for a change the pizzas had plenty of toppings

Salad was off. It stunk, absolutely minging. Will never ever order from here again.

I ordered thin crust and it arrived deep pan. Chips were soggy and I ordered BBQ chicken and it arrived with mushrooms on and didn’t taste of BBQ at all. Won’t order from here again. It arrived early but I guess it was an early disappointment.

Burger was so big it barely fit in the box, loved it.

Food was late garlic bread was burnt donner kebab was burnt burger bread was toasted to much meaning it was slightly burnt and hard the burger itself was appalling really dry also ordered a half pounder and only got a quarter pound burger chips wasn’t good either normally have a positive experience but today all of the food was shocking was going to ring and complain but it was late at night and the food already took almost a hour to arrive

Friendly staff as always and they make a mean tuna and jalapeno pizza, very fast service, on time, and the food is always great, keep it up!

I have 2 small children that was also waiting for their tea to be delivered, but it came 20 minutes late!

Seeing as it was 35 minutes late, food was never going to be good, chips were warm and soggy, donner meat was like cardboard, while the salad was nice, the very large quarter of tomato was perplexing as how would that fit into a kebab, also pitta bread was not cut and as it had already been toasted, was now rock hard. Also sent coke instead of diet coke. Hard to think of anything good about this experience really.

I had ordered a vegetable calzone. I accepted and ate what was delivered although it was not what I was expecting. The food quality was good as was the service and delivery but I cannot rate higher than four because of the error.

Food didn’t turn up. Had a phonecall 30 mins after if was due saying my address wasn’t recognised gave them a post code which brings you to the new build site and 1 hour later still not here. Phoned the shop to be told the driver couldn’t locate so took it back. No phonecall to ask for directions, had to pick food up myself with no help whatsoever from the owner. A shame because the food was good
