Stacey's in Gosport

I have been going to Stacey's on and off for 8 years but was influenced by the Google reviews so never ordered more than something simple; got a full set meal tonight and not only did I hear them cooking it fresh whilst I was waiting (in the wok) but everything was super delicious, especially the chicken and mushrooms. The sweet and sour chicken balls are my thing and these are the best I have had in Gosport.

Had chippy tea,mh wife had fish poisioning ,it was reported and now they have been down graded from 5 to a 1 on goid standards

The food was good I was living in Salis ury at the time and was in gosport over night food was delightful thank you. Xx Well donr

Incompetence on three recent occasions. Have regularly used this establishment over the years for deliveries but unfortunately the service has fallen well short. On two separate occasions two fish orders were raw/undercooked, one large piece, one medium size piece and tonight the chips inclusion order totally missing. Afraid I will no longer be using this shop. Enough is enough.

I find that service from inception to delivery 100% kind and friendly other local services especially on water front need to take watching brief and learn how to deliver exceptional customer service

NOT IMPRESSED!! Having been working in the local area all day my work colleague and myself stopped Of at Stacey’s on the way back to our hotel and massively regret doing so! we both have been up for the majority of the night with suspected FOOD POISONING! after having similar dishes! My colleagues chicken fried rice was only hot in the middle and stone cold on surface (probably microwaved) my chicken chow main dripping with water in container we were not best pleased! After reading into stacey’s previous reviews I’m not surprised about our experience! Wish I had seen these reviews sooner! Also both without a days wage due to eating here !!

We have been using Staceys for about a decade. The food has always arrived hot and within 30 minutes. Generous portions of chips, lovely battered fish. The Chinese menu has never disappointed. We have always found the staff to be pleasant and friendly.

Ordered last night, and basically (because you don't want details), my son had a chow mein and was the only one who wasn't ill all night. D&V for the three grown ups who had battered food. Son's duck mein was, however, full of fat lumps and he left most of the meat (I know duck can be fatty but this was revolting, a complete rip off.) Won't ever be ordering from here again 🤢

The food was terrible I've never been so livid me and family was starving and to find it was cold, tasteless and disgusting I will not be ordering from here again this was my first time ordering to. You guys should be ashamed of yourselfs to give out that type of food. When i called up for my refund I was shouted at by 3 members of staff because I was complaining about the gross food and they was so rude to me. This could of been a better situation if I wasn't spoken to so rudely and I had hot food or tasty food to start with. So disgusted. If I was treated better I wouldn't of left such a bad review.

After receiving our order, and started to eat, we noticed our food was cold, and over cooked. I decided to call staceys to inform them, to which I received the staff in the background saying ‘fu**ing idiots’. Was refused a refund and was told we shouldn’t have eaten anything if it was that bad? Surely we had to eat it to find out! Disgusting food and disgusting service. Would definitely stay clear!

Both myself and my wife have been ordering from "Stacey's" for years and yet to have a bad meal. The service is both friendly and quick while the menu is diverse enough with it combination of both Chinese and fish and chip shop menus to cover whatever your craving. I can't recommend them enough :)

I have to say I will not be using stacey chip shop again after waiting 45 minutes for my food to be delivered after phoning up to see where my order was I was told it's just left the shop 15 mins later it arrived chips were cold pie was really hard and 14 pound later the food went in the bin

Batter was run on parts,chips were good,curry sauce was not to bad. Husband went for chicken quarters, his response - not to bad.

This must be the worst chippy in Gosport and there are a few. chips are half cooked or warmed up from yesterday and fish is greasy and dripping in oil

Really enjoyed this meal had chips. Chicken ommlette. Chicken and sweet corn soup. Noddles. Fish fingers and sausage and free prawn crackers for spending over 12 and washed down with a can of Dr Pepper lol stuffed the chips were the best I've had in years and the soup and ommlette were super yummy would definitely recommend will use again oh yeh had a very nice veg spring roll to super good
