Brothers Kebab House in Gosport

Ordered over an hour ago, hasn’t shown up and doubt it will, no answer when phoned

UPDATE: Despite delivering to me in the past, their site now says I'm too far for delivery. What kind of place doesn't deliver to somewhere in the same town? Food arrived late, but still hot, it arrived an hour ago yet my drink which they said was coming as they had forgotten it still isn’t here, even after phoning to check it was coming.

Food didn't arrive. Rude on the phone, didn't seem interested at all. No refund offered. Avoid.

Can’t even be bothered to answer phone tried for an hour while open none of them can be arsed wouldn’t bother they can’t be arsed not bad if you like food poisoning

Hello I ordered a doner meat and chips with garlic sause when I called back they said they would fix this and then after waiting they delivered a box of donner meat not listening to what was said ruined my appetite.

I only get pizzas from here noticed in the evening they are excellent but in the day they are a bit substandard delivery normally takes about 45 minutes at the latest

Rung up an hour before closing time and got no answer yet the phone rang. Clearly not open until the times it says. Takes the piss, change the times if your not open or having issues!

Wrong order send me a wrap instead of a kebab , don’t anwser the phone or anything

Popped in for a Lamb Kofta. £8.50. Requested no sauces and no onions but to include all the rest of the salad. I was happy to pay the full price whilst having no onions and sauces. The Kabab was served to me with only lettuce, one slice of tomato and two slices of cucumber. Asked for the expected pickled chillies and coleslaw / cabbage to be put onto my salad order but was told none available. This was not what I ordered so asked for £1 to be refunded bearing in mind they were already not supplying onions and sauces. I was told by the surly young man serving me that the price was the same whether or not I wanted sauces and if they had ran out of the expected full variety of salad. I insisted on a £1 discount or to give me my money back. I was refused. I insisted. The surly boy then phoned his boss to ask if he could refund me (bearing in mind they were already up on charging me for items they weren’t supplying). Begrudgingly, I was refunded £1. In addition, I watched the ‘Boy’ prepare my kabab. He multitasked straight from the unsterile till to prepare my meal without washing his hands. The pitta bread was pushed and poked with his unwashed hands to be served without enough time on the grill to heat it enough to kill any filth that may have been on his hands and transferred to the bread. Dirty! As to the Kabab itself, they should be embarrassed to serve this. I avoided the pitta bread only trying the kofta meat. It was dry and had no taste. No seasoning or spice or if it had in prep then it was grilled out by the boy ‘chef’ left without training. I remember Brothers when it opened. They had the best kebabs in town and the staff always welcomed their customers with Turkish hospitality. Their coleslaw was second to none and was always included as part of the salad order. What’s happened? Never again!

Clearly not open until the time they claim to be. Tried calling an hour before ‘closing time’ and the phone rang out each time.

So I've oerded food tonight they took money out my bank but they said it be half an hour and still not turned up and they not answering the phone now piss take Never ordering for there again

Food was absolutely amazing big portions great price. Staff were lovely. Service was really quick.

First kebab since being back in the UK and it didn’t disappoint. Big portion and a great taste. Delivery was also pretty quick and I’ll be using again.

I ordered a BBQ special pizza I paid £8.50 and got pizza bread with no sauce just cheese. they wouldn’t deliver another pizza or give me a refund but did offer a free pizza on my next delivery although I will not be ordering from them again.

I'm a northerner from Bradford so I know a bit about kebabs, this place does a mean mixed on naan. Highly recommended.

I got a chicken donor last night I mange to find hair in my food while eating an I tried to remove it from my month an keep going but after a few more bits another one was find in my food wasn't happy very nice up until that point an seem I can't get in touch to get some of my money back.

Second pizza ordered not well done like asked for. Dough was too soft, won't be ordering from there again.

The delivery service would have been exemplary had I ordered a claw hammer, some screws, and a flannel instead of a badly-packed kebab.

Ordered a kebab, a wrap and a 1.5 litre bottle of coke, coke wasn't with the order, told to call the store. I have called them 5 times with no answer. Unacceptable when delivery is £3, the bottle of Coke is £3.20, if I don't get my drink or my money back, I'm going there in person. Essentially a waste of £6.20.

Never going to Brothers Kebab again. I had to keep repeating myself several times and yet they still managed to forget parts of the order, especially the sides. I ordered for myself, my boyfriend and my brother and the only order they got right was my brothers. Absolutely bloody pointless running a place like that if one can’t even listen or understand English.

The best kebab and pizza in town. So delicious and freshly made. My order was delivered in less than 25 minutes. Definitely will order again. Nice one!

Been ordering from somewhere else for a few years in Gosport. I tried Brothers out and it was the best kebab I've had in many years. They allowed me to change the kebab and add some extras that was part of the mixed grill kebab. They were happy to answer questions and delivery was quicker than they said. 10/10. Will use these from now on.

Ordered a kebab for my dad, he said he’s ordered kebabs all his life and this has to be in his top 2! Ordered at 12:50am and received it at 1:00am, unbelievable!!!

Food was hot to many chips taste good

Waited over an hour for my delivery then for when it came was stone cold so there for did not enjoy it I will never be using this kebab place again 😡

Placed an online order, and ordered something incorrect. I called to explain I’d ordered it wrong and that I was happy to pay the difference, but chap said don’t worry it’s okay, thanks guys. Great food, haven’t been here for a while but now they have a 5 hygiene rating too will be sure to visit regularly thanks guys great food and great service :) Very kind of you.

Seriously. 1 burger chips and 5 chicken nuggets. £14.50 what a rip off. The bacon burger had one rasher of bacon for an extra 80p. These guys are taking the p.

The best kebab I've had in a while. Delivered piping hot, both pizza's were amazing, chips were fresh and not warmed up. I've stopped using the regular kebab place I've been using for 5 years as they changed hands and served me off Lamb shish and reheated food and droed out salad several times. Highly recommend brothers.

Chicken wings was the best. Kids meal (doner meat) really good portion. Coming back definitely. Staff was very friendly.

Great kebabs best in gosport super fast delivery food hot and tasty.

I was staying in a hotel on a Saturday night and got a doner kebab for dinner, it was very tasty and not greasy. The guys were so friendly and professional despite dealing with drunk, loud, difficult customers. Well done!

Made a very nice version of a chicken shish with halloumi. Very nice. Good to have it as an option as a non meat eater. They should have it on the menu board.

Update: Brothers Kebab is hugely better now and I don't know what it is but your meat and mayonnaise especially the mayonnaise mwa I abseloutly love it feel like I fall in heaven all the time.

Delivery was good but the order was terrible I paid £15.50 for four choice pizza beef,olive's,red pepper and sweetcorn i also asked for extra cheese and it came with nothing on it was a cheese and tomato with 3 olives thats it I ordered this on on Just Eat went on to complain and the kebab house has gone from it.

Food was fine. Certain employee absolutely disgusting. Ordered some food after a night out, with JustEat and paid with my card on the app. When the bloke came to the door I forgot I paid online and gave him a 20 quid note and instead of reminding me it has already been paid for he took my 20 quid and gave me random change from his pocket thinking It would just go over my head. I rang them up to explain what had happened, he came to the door again and is completely denying it. Disgusted to say the least

Really annoyed. Was waiting for an hour for our food that was meant to be delivered in 40 minutes. Rang up and told we were the next delivery. Then waited for another half an hour. Company not answering the phone. When the food turned up it was like cardboard.

Just had a beauty of a half pound cheeseburger 🍔. Charcoal grilled whilst waiting. Tasted brilliant, reasonable price and nice polite staff 👍

Wife and myself used this takeaway while staying in Gosport. Had the house special kebab with chips and salad which was excellent value for money and cooked fresh while we waited. Was so filling with loads of meat in fact that we left some and eat the rest the following day. Would recommended this takeaway to anyone, you can also eat in, if your in the area.

Absolutely shocking kebab not one piece of donnor was longer then an inch and I poured Greece out of the tray it was half a cm deep.

Ironically there is another kebab shop with that name but they're not the best. Have been using brothers for over 6 years. Have tried others but brothers is best. Have been 5pm and anytime until 3am and the quality is consistent. Staff are friendly food is great not just kebabs but pizzas as well.
