I’ve never seen a person working in the check-in area of an A&E with such a lack of professionalism and empathy in my life. She was incredibly rude and couldn’t care less.

What wonderful, friendly staff. I had to go for blood tests, never been to St. Thomas’ before. Was amazed at the choice of venues to eat including a very well stocked M&S, Costa and many others. However it was the friendly professional staff who amazed me the most. I couldn’t fault anybody and the receptionist at the blood clinic came in to apologise that they were running a little late and offered to get water or coffee for us waiting. Didn’t feel a thing when bloods were taken either. Top notch despite a lot of building work taking place.

This hospital saved my life. On a short trip to London I caught an infection that hit my lungs. I was artificially ventilated there, put into a coma and brought back after about a week. Because of my chronic lung disease, it wasn't a given that it worked. The staff and doctors were incredibly competent and caring. My loved ones were allowed to come to me at any time and were well looked after. There was always someone there who had an open ear. Even when I had gotten through the worst, we were offered help. We could have contacted a psychologist from the hospital at any time. I've never experienced anything like this before. Thank you ❤️

My husband has just spent 10 days in Doulton Ward having heart surgery. He was overwhelmed with the kindness and patience of all the staff there. Having to travel a long distance to see him they gave me every consideration especially when he had a set back. Such lovely staff, every one of them! ❤️

Appointments get rescheduled then you can’t contact anyone, explained I’m not local so need an afternoon appointment I finally get one then they cancel and reschedule. And they wonder why disabled people can’t keep a job !! Been 1st in the queue for an hour now and called dead on the time they opened 🙃

Was spiked with ketamine in a nightclub near here. Went here and told them I was spiked and they said it wasn't their problem. Nobody came to gave me even basic checks, was tripping for hours on the waiting room chairs with nobody asking me if I'm okay. Got thrown out at 6am as it was going to get busy with 'people with actual problems to attend to'. Do not come here.

Very Rude staff (you find one nice between 20 Rude staff) Receptionist, Nurses , senior Doctors….it looks like its a cultural to be very Rude in this Hospital. I’ve been in so many Hospitals in the US, Italy, France , Even I’ve been in hospitals in middles east (Saudi, Jordan, Egypt, Marocco), Honestly Never in my life I saw such an Extreme Rude staff in my life. -When I asked about my Daughter’s health and just wanted to knew, why is she going to an operation? , OMG, they treated me like a homeless bigger asking them for there own money 😂. Then when i asked for a Doctor to talk too ((in a very polite way)), the nurse was shocked as if I Rob her house😂😂. When I ask for a cup of tea when my daughter went to the ward in the hospital , they respond as ((Go bring it yourself)) , I even told that Nurse, if you want me to bring the tea myself, at least just kindly show me where about is the Tea trolly! And when I went to the tea trolley, another nurse said: ( you shouldn’t be here, only staff can be here)!!! . And finally, the next day , the receptionist in the Ward ((Did Not let me in)) , I mean…I came to see my Daughter in the morning, because my Mum ((the patient ‘s Grandmother) was with her, they told me in a very Rude way (only one person can be with the patient & now somebody is there), I did explain that the one with her is her grandmother and I am the father. And still very Rudely refused to let me in. Honestly, In my experience: its the worse Hospital ((on earth))ethically as people ethics, the way they talk to patients & patient’s Family I mean.

I can rate that my experience was really positive with the outstanding service provided by the AnE which prompted sort out my care. Dr Gabriel was sensitive and supportive to my care. Thank you Doctor for being there for me.

I was able to get disabled parking at 8:30am. Helpful, friendly staff at reception. Disability friendly, M&S cafe, M&S shop, clean facilities & good signage.

Blood Test staff should be supervising student phlebotomists at all times. I was assigned a student phlebotomist with no supervision who missed both ACF middle veins. I never have a problem when I go for blood tests.

I had my baby boy delivered at St Thomas Hospital and all I can say, this hospital is absolutely superb. The Maternity Assessment unit midwives are extremely caring, supportive and helpful! The surgeon who performed my c section did a fantastic job and anaesthesiologist was top! :) he put his own cheerful playlist during the surgery to cheer my husband and I. my son was born when “you gotta move like jagger” was playing 😂 The diabetes clinic nurses are the best nurses I ever came across in my life. So much support and care I have never received from any of the institutions before (even private) All I can say this hospital has fantastic professionals and very good management team

A huge thank you to the team that helped look after and check my grandma was ok after she had an escalator fall. I know I’m missing a couple of names from the team that helped but Sophie, Bruno (your skin work was magical - these wounds are healing so well) , Stuart 🙏 you were all incredible! Recently had cause to visit A&E, and when I saw the queue at the door I was a bit put off but going home wasn't an option unfortunately. Guy came along the queue periodically to check everyone was where they needed to be which I think was helpful. Waited about 25 minutes to get to the triage nurses. My nurse was very nice and very thorough. You then sit and wait for the admin people to call you over and to check your details are correct on their system. Waited only two or three minutes for the next guy to call me over. While waiting, overheard the first nurse on the phone notifying someone I needed to be seen urgently. Admin guy called me over, again very nice and friendly, told me he would be quick because someone was waiting to take me 'through'. Finished with him and another nurse appeared seconds later to to take me through to the bowels of A&E where I was on a bed in a pod in what seemed no more that 10 minutes of having spoken to the first nurse. I was then attended to throughout my stay by a series of staff who, without exception provided outstanding care and consideration. I don't know whether its even called customer service in a heathcare setting, but for want of a better phrase I will use that. Just exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive, they all introduced themselves, explained who they were and what they would be going to do. They all did it, so I'm guessing this is down to good training. I'd been there before for a similar problem, so I had an idea about how the problem had been fixed previously. I was able to discuss this and how the treatment would be approached this time, my views were taken on board. I know this isn't always something that's possible, but it was good to know that the doctors were happy to listen and to take on board patient views. There were so many places I would rather have been than in hospital with kidney failure, but really there is nothing more the hospital could have done to make by stay there more bearable. The care from the staff was exemplary.

Hearing about my friend who has spent ten weeks in St Thomas being told she is attention seeking by a professional psyche doctor is disturbing. You went to school likely to get a doctorine, act like an adult yourself. That is such a child like response that says “I don’t have the patience to do my job.” The entire NhS needs an investigation on a national security level.

given five stars to NHS namely St Thomas's Hospital, and significantly to the ambulance 🚑 that attended my property so speedy within less than minutes. Firstly though... The two ambulance workers was so very pragmatic and kind, they knew something was wrong with me but not what, I was having a humongous panic attack plus unable to breathe, they said all the right things, so much empathy calmed me right down, and took me to hospital . With care and concern . I never knew their names, I really deeply wished I asked though because they went that extra mile for me . Thank you front line workers ,your very supportive specialist so under valued in my eyes. St Thomas's Hospital Doctors And All The Staff. These are amazing 👏 workers, again, so under valued , we don't know what we generally have until it's all gone. These doctors should be appreciated much more, appreciated 👏 in such a way because they definitely go above and way beyond ❤️ 💙 😊. These specialist have a introspection like none other, extraordinary feats that are under appreciated because when I was so sick 😫 while sitting there in the hospital others did not appreciate them enough in my eyes that's all I'll say on that. I was saddened in what I heard and saw in how they were being spoken to uncalled for .politeness costs absolutely nothing. These doctors knew I was extremely sick 😫 🤒 😷 🤧 🤢 🤮 knew not what was wrong nor did I . However though, as the night 🌙 went on , unable to breathe and in pain, these doctors took extra care of me,I was eventually give steroids and antibiotics, these doctors have also been given a five star review rating by me because these doctors are very attentive and concerned absolutely accuracy and details, have good organisational abilities, display diligence which is defined as very careful efforts of determination to find the cause, they have job efficiency, a burning desire to gain knowledge and clarity in what's wrong with you, they always adopt through collective efforts and approach, very conscientious and motivated and has significant initiatives and perseverance. Once again, a humongous thank to them doctors all at St Thomas's hospital.

2024 UK. Four white nurses looking at computer screen. I arrived with my daughter in labour 1am. One nurse pointed to cubical without raising her head. 3 other nurses, did not look up either. Was left in cubical until I stood in front of them, no words from me. One nurses jumped up and tried to pacify me, we're coming. Both my daughter and myself are BLACK London born.

Having been here quite a few times and with both my children having been born here I know it quite well. Like the rest of the NHS the staff do the best they can amongst funding and resource pressures. What's going for it though is the riverside location opposite the houses of parliament, there's also quite a big M&S food supermarket downstairs as well as a Costa Coffee

Attended A&E.Spent six hours there for attending with right sided pain.Came out with no help at all despite it obviously being nerve pain.Nothing even prescribed to assist with the pain.Discharge summary not even accurate. A disappointing waste of my time.

When 31st Oct 2024, due to long term health issues related to mould at Infectious Diseases and general internal Medication, however after explaining all my symptoms Dr M Woodman, knowing that All my symptoms are in line with NHS website for mould infection/ fungi related issues still tuned around and said it's not the cass, so they will not carry out specialises blood and stool test, and when I told him I will go private he said its wast of wealth and even if I found out there is nothing that will be done. After going to private test, I was diagnosed with high level of fangs in my blood that was causing all my health problems. I can only think of tow reasons whey this Docter did not want to carry out any investigation or test, to save the NHS money, not taking my health in to consideration or did not like my apparent relegen that I desplayed. Keep away from this hospitals if you truly value your health, go abroad to too health professionals, don't wast your time and with in uk as they are bound by the uk government laws.

My wife had surgery at St. Thomas' Hospital, and overall, the care was excellent. The staff and nurses were highly professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout her stay. However, a few individuals seemed less qualified, possibly not having met the standard hiring criteria. As for the food, well... let's just say it could use a bit of flavor enhancement – I ended up bringing meals from nearby restaurants every day to keep my wife happy!

So after a 10 hour wait in A&E, my mum was finally admitted to the admissions ward. In which all the staff were so polite, smiles everywhere, approachable and friendly. Some stand outs that literally went above and beyond , Camilla one of the nurses was so approachable, making the best out of a bad situation and genuinely just making people smile. David , another nurse on this ward was checking in regularly making sure my mum was okay ensuring she had her medications on time. Maria - one of the orthopaedic doctors (I believe ?) was very funny and uplifting and so so helpful. My mum had a nurse whilst I had to go home for an hour and she said she was the loveliest woman she had ever met and she was 5’1 just like my mum. I didn’t get a chance to get her name but honestly the team in this department are on top form couldn’t have asked for better care from anyone❤️thank you so much xx

My mum was very unwell and brought in to the A&E at St Thomas’s hospital in which we were told to ask the reception nurses for some painkillers and anti sickness as my mum was continuously being sick. When I asked for them, they said they will get some for her right away and then left us waiting for around 30 minutes. The called her in for bloods and the nurse dealing with her told her to roll her sleeve up ( even thought she had a hoodie on over her shoulders with her arms out the bottom of it and a vest top) so when my mum told the woman she had already done this (slightly agitated) the woman walked away and told her someone else can do the bloods. Disgusting behaviour from someone who is meant to help. We were then called by a lovely lady who took the bloods and made my mum feel comfortable as she did it. She told us we would get some pain relief and anti sickness when we came out and still after 3 hours nothing was given even thought asked for a million times. The receptions make you feel like a right burden

Doctor G lambri pain management team are excellent team never have a let my uncle down always get back to me when I have a question. It can be just who to speak to sometimes you have to remember they deal with thousands of patients and your not the only one . I see some negative comments about the team. Great staff, knowledgeable, kind, caring and courteous. Took care of our elderly mother/ grandmother. All the facilities are modern and state of the art. Clean, warm and friendly environment. Food was decent and shops on site.

How they neglected autism in this hospital then they refuse to treat the problem and they don't actually listen to anything

Just had a day surgery at St Thomas, I had been admitted and well cared for at other UK hospitals yet today's experience was remarkably memorable. All the love to every one at St Thomas and Guys Hospital. Every single interaction from the doctor's referral until the moment I left the hospital this afternoon were amazing, open, informative l and joyful. Big up to #StThomasHospital ❤️🔥

Best experience I've ever had. From start to finish they were kind, helpful and super efficient. Particular shout out to the team in Endoscopy, who made an unpleasant procedure not only bearable but actually funny. They were so lovely and upbeat and really looked after me. So, thank you!

I came here with a very very severe injury and swelling from a very bad fall down the stairs and had to wait 6 hours with no doctor even looking at the horrendous injury. I never usually leave bad reviews, but this was unacceptable. The doctor took one hour to get me morphine for my excessive pain. I was left crying in room in the most severe pain imaginable for hours. I thought I was going to die at one point and none of them cared enough to take the situation seriously or even look at the injury. I self checked out in the end because of the treatment and 6 hour wait and results for my x-ray. Awful awful doctors and nurses here. I passed out from the pain twice. Nothing. I waited hours for morphine that never came. I don’t wish this type of experience on my worst enemy. They do not care. I’m traumatised.

I went to St Thomas' A&E the other evening (middle of junior doctors strike) and was quickly seen with my problem diagnosed and successfully treated. All staff were very professional, kind and helpful throughout. What they do is a miracle with the stress they're under and I'm really grateful. Thank you St Thomas'!

Only come to A&E if you're having a cardiac arrest. And if you have a defibrillator at home, don't bother coming in for that either as long as some has applied the patches —you'll have a better chance of surviving on your own

I had an accident and needed stitches for my thumb, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Ingrid and Chad. They were professional, gentle, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Ingrid’s precision and Chad’s steady support made all the difference. My thumb is healing well, and I’m incredibly grateful for their care. Highly recommend!

Worst childbirth experience 3 years ago. A doctor actually told me to stop screaming because I annoy staff and other patients. 4 people delivering my baby, and I still didn't make it with good mental satisfaction.

Brilliant service by the NHS. Had a Gastroscopy, left home in Ashford, Kent 10am, was home by 5 with Patient Transport and I must compliment the driver. Just got to wait for biopsy results. All NHS staff were so kind and reassuring and made it a really relaxing experience for me, even though they were short staffed.

About 2 years ago I have referred myself to St Thomas's for my first pregnancy. Started up really well with my antenatal care, though I had my first midwife appointment with a midwife whose English wasn't great and I literally had to help her spell out Hazelnut (as that is one of my allergens). That worried me a bit that how can I trust myself with her if her communication is not that great. Having said that continued well after that until I was about 27 weeks pregnant and we were relocating overseas and I have been literally begging the midwife to sort out my files so I can take that with me. As the badger app isn't enough for the overseas hospital. They promised they will do it. And they never did. Left the UK and then the chaos started they were calling me several times that why I didn't turn up for my appointments. It was no note on my file to say that I left the country. Don't even get me started on having to ask for my scan results blood tests and other things they have done for me they just refused to do that. (GDPR protection crap was their excuse) the overseas hospital was stressing me out they wanted my paperwork these guys were refusing. To a degree I had to threaten them with hospital obudsman that I am legally allowed to have my results. I was past from piller to poll I have been rudely cut my phone calls because I was losing it that nobody wanted to help. WORSE HOSPITAL EVER.

On Sunday, November 03, 2024, I have an appointment for an endoscopy! I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the amazing Dr. Giavanni Tritto,🤩🥰 who performed the procedure with such warmth and humor. His friendly and calm , made the experience truly wonderful! I also want to give a big shoutout to all the lovely nurses who provided such polite and kind service. You all are fantastic! Worst ever, I am currently here with my wife, she obviously having a stroke and the receptionist noticed that, she referred us to a neurologist and it has been 50 minutes with no action, we are where the doctors are and 8 of them are now setting, chatting and laughing and not even a single one or a nurse offered to see her or check if she is ok. Will definitely escalate this

3 GPs, more than 40 active patients, waiting time 3 hours so far. Each patient went in and came out 5-15 mins later. Each GP was available again 45 mins after their last patient left… Well done

These redundancies are wrong. This has NOT. Been on the news. Why not? It really should be! 90 people removed from their jobs They have to make cuts. Ok. But. 90 jobs gone from Projects and 6 saves. These people repair and improve the working conditions for these wards. They operate fire safety. Toilets. Plumbing , Lifts. Walkways. Signage. Roof insulation, Electrical fails, construction, nurse calls, neonatel lights, incubators, Updating to CQC Standards. Updating on old stuff for new. So no more Grenfell mistakes. So once they’ve gone they will employ agencies to cover the shortage. This will be an additional cost. There will be shortages. They have to stream line, understood, but P & O ferries pop up as an example. Yes. Doctors and nurses demanding more Money. Has to come from somewhere. Yes. But this is One example. Engineering next. The foundation that the nurses and doctors operate from is in danger. NHS keep a lot quiet. Wake up people!!

What a great hospital ! Arrived at 5.20 pm with my sister in law who'd tripped over a protruding kerb on Concert Hall approach. We were seen immediately at Triage and then straight to the Urgent Care Unit where again assessed immediately. By 7.15 she had been xrayed twice and had her dislocated shoulder put back in place, had a letter printed off for her local hospital and given pain relief advice. Can honestly say every member of staff who helped her was outstanding.

I recently had an experience at the Early Pregnancy Unit at St. Thomas’ Hospital, and I cannot speak highly enough about the care I received. From the moment I walked in, every single employee was exceptionally kind, compassionate, and professional. The nurses, doctors, and reception staff all went above and beyond to make me feel supported and at ease during what can be a challenging time. Their level of care, both medically and emotionally, was truly outstanding. They took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I was treated with such respect and empathy, and it was clear that everyone in the unit genuinely cared about my well-being. The team created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made a huge difference in my experience. I am so grateful for their dedication and would highly recommend the Early Pregnancy Unit at St. Thomas’ to anyone in need of care. The kindness and professionalism of the staff made all the difference, and I cannot thank them enough!

I was on vacation and my baby got sick at 3am, I arrived at this hospital that has a children's area because it was close to the hotel, and everything was super good, the care was excellent, super friendly and professional, always explaining everything to us 100% recommended We were foreigners from Mexico and they never questioned anything financially or anything about the insurance, it was free of charge since my baby had nothing serious.

I had an appointment today with Lung Function at St. Thomas's Hospital. I was met by a lovely lady by the name of Krushilla(hopefully I have spelt that correctly- apologies if I haven't)! She was the most friendliest, professional, calm individual I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! She turned what was going to be a very anxious day, into a very reassuring day! She was extremely thorough in explaining a rather lengthy process, and double checked everything with me so that I understood what was expected of me. She answered all my anxious based questions with a very professional and calm approach! Thank you for your time today Krushilla! I am very grateful. ☺️🙏

I had to undergo a surgery for bowel cancer. It was supposed to be a relatively routine procedure, albeit not minor. It turned in a 2 years and counting ordeal of 5 surgery, life long terrible consequences and probably a permanent disability. Every single surgery done here had complications. Every surgery get delayed or cancelled last minute, forcing me to re organise my job, my work related flights and the flights of family members that come to stay with me. I have totally lost confidence in them and I only wish I died on the first surgery.

We went to St.Thomas Hospital in London for a cardiology appointment for our son. The consultant Dr. Hazel Turner was brilliant ! very empathetic and caring person . What a beautiful hospital with lovely caring staff. Had a operation here in july 2024 and it all went well. There were a few patient's/visitor's walking and looking lost and the staff stopped and asked if they needed any help all the time while I was waiting

We were unfortunate enough to have to take our son to the doctor over the holidays. They recommended this hospital to us and I have to say that they are super professional, fast, when it comes to the emergency unit, and super friendly with the children :) We presented the EU health care card and without problem.

Can’t fault this hospital at all. My mum was in over 2 weeks and the staff were incredible. Very caring and supportive. The hospital and the toilets were very clean too.

Great care at this hospital, the elevator system is horrendous as you are usually waiting forever for a lift which could cause you to be late for an appointment, but other than that everything else is good

Amazing hospital amazing staff and doctors how they help me safe my life when my local hospital can’t fix me in 4 year and you did it in 2 day that’s amazing ever since your hospital made me feel better I have feel amazing you got rid of my pain because you listened and did your amazing job thank you. Food good especially chicken! Nurses are fantastic and so so nice and I can’t say thank you enough! Doctors are amazing because they listen and care about your patience! Hospital is very clean! And tidy!

I was on a pre-op assessment test for my upcoming cancer op. Appallingly Nurse C. Pombo forgot to measure my height, weight and take blood pressure, Pre op assessment team called me up next day to come in for tests. This was because they forgot to measure my height, weight and blood pressure, These so called “nurses” made a cancer patient to travel across London in the rush our because they are forgetful. Apparently this keeps slipping their mind. They have no concern about the patient time, job or health.

My friend became unwell during a day out in London. We we're ambulanced to St Thomas's a&e. Èveryone was so kind and the treatment my friend received was outstanding. Excellent staff in a very busy hospital. Nothing was too much trouble 👏👏

I was sent by 111 to the hospital due to my high blood pressure; 185/107. P-69. When I told the receptionist who sent me there and the reason why I went there, she said it's best to deer my GP. It was Sunday and my gp was aware of it because I sent an email to the doctors in the clinic telling them about it. I was told to take the whole tablet of Nebivolol which I did but my bp remained high. When I rang 111 because my BP has never decreased even after taking my medicine, I was advised to go to the hospital. The receptionist then told me to see my GP on Monday. However, as it was high, she said she would take it again after 20 mins. which she did. Then she told me that my bp had gone down -134/???.I was also very pleased because my headache has subsided though the pain behind my neck hasn't. When I got home, I checked my BP and it was 168/99 P- 80. She lied to get rid of me. I didn't even like going to the hospital for fear of getting more ill. Her name was Marianna in the reception at St Thomas Hospital. When I saw the reading in my BP monitor, I was dismayed. Why lie to a woman of 79years old who went alone to a hospital at 4:00 am to be treated? She made an appointment for me anyway to be seen by the hospital GP in the afternoon. Would you treat an old woman that way?I won't!

They looked after me very well. I like it there.

Came in at 7.30 pm I am still here waitinf for a blood test and to know why I feel so sick and it is 2 am. Speechless Please re-consider if visiting this hospital

Best hospital I’ve received treatment at. After originally being misdiagnosed at another hospital resulting in me nearly loosing my finger, I finally got transferred here and I couldn’t thank this hospital enough! Everyone made my traumatic experience slightly better by how caring, friendly and accommodating they were. Special thank you to the plastic surgery surgeon who came to A&E and basically saved my finger and also the nurses on the plastic surgery ward who made me feel better. The views from this hospital over London also really cheered me up when I was feeling very poorly.

Very pleasant experience with Dr Iqra, who explained everything in simple terms and was extremely patient with me. Kudos to her and the whole staff for treating patients back-to-back despite a packed waiting room - they truly took great care of everyone. I was very grateful for Dr Iqra’s help and would definitely recommend her for any issues around fever and cold/flu symptoms!

Came to the A&e they sent me to a gp place where i waited 3 hours to see the doctor who took like a minute to examine and prescribed steroids antibiotics and other things, went to the pharmacy which they told me the waiting time is up to Minutes and after an hour they tols me the doctor has prescribed wrong dosage therefore they cannot give me the medication. After the pharmacist went to talk to the doctor and came back its been almost an hour since 🤣🤣🤣

Brilliant service 👏 credit to the NHS

I was having an asthma attack and the personnel made me feel quite invalidated. I understand that the nhs is overwhelmed however they did not take me seriously nor did they believe my symptoms. I decided to discharge myself and go to a different doctor because I felt very uncomfortable. Many of the doctors were lovely but it was particularly the people at the front desk that made me feel uncomfortable.

You will not get better care anywhere else in the country. Period. The Alan Apley ward in particular have been spectacular, always very attentive, quick, friendly and responsive to any sudden issues. The work the whole team does is truly fantastic, thank you on behalf of both myself and my family!

My wife gave birth to our baby a few days ago and we would like to say a big thank you to every member in the maternity and postnatal ward, in particular Ana, Aroosa, Dr. Mya, Anastasia, Libby, Beatrice, Morsal and many others who have helped us in the amazing journey. Every member has been super friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and passionate in what they are doing. Our experience has surpassed our expectation and ye.. there might be delays and minor things here and there, but come on, remember it is a public service! I will definitely recommend it to any parents-to-be.

St. Thomas's Hospital has a dedicated and compassionate staff that provides exceptional care to its patients. We are fortunate to have access to free medical care in our country.

Astounding care delivered by the team at St Guy's & Thomas'. The experience of A & E is one which not many dwell upon but the delivery of treatment which was provided by the strongly proficient A&E team left me fully satisfied and well pleased. Unprofessional staff at GP . After a long wait (3 h ) in just 5 min doctor prescribed antibiotics without taking a blood or urine test . Just checked my blood pressure and temperature. Honestly, they taking patients with no care at all . Avoid ! I wish I can give 0 Star !!!!

I cannot fault the amazing care I received from the medical staff in hand trauma clinic and day surgery and occupational hand therapy, all the staff were friendly, kind, caring and generally amazing. HOWEVER I found the reception staff in hand therapy rather rude and unfriendly, did not welcome with a "hello" or "how can I help you" just a stare and no smile and unhelpful when trying to book a convenient time for my next appointment. Being a medical administrator I think the attitude of these front line staff is very important

Amazing hospital A&E we when on weekend with my sister when darent valley hospital didn’t help at all told us she was well and blood was good and left my sister in pain told us to go home but she was getting worse the next day so we had to travel on train at night on weekend to St Thomas hospital and this hospital was amazing I wish I could have gave it 100 stars because when we got to this hospital they told use my sister had serious infection that was spreading they couldn’t believe darent valley hospital didn’t see it or didn’t do everything my sister is 26 years old the doctor and nurse was amazing with her Thank you st Thomas hospital

Elizabeth the GP was lovely and very helpful and kind. She made sure I was back on my way, and was a barrel of laughs all at the same time.

I went to the hospital because I suddenly developed tonsillitis while traveling. If you wait a very long time, what you will receive is not a medical examination, but registration documents. Afterwards, you may have to wait a long time to receive treatment. My fever has been rising to 40 degrees for 4 days, so I wanted to get an injection, but I couldn't get an injection, so I had to take medicine and see if I could get better slowly. The good thing about treatment is that they provide Korean interpretation service! Anyway, UK medical expenses are treated as free for travelers as well. But I bought about 3 for 40,000 won.

5 Stars - nothing is too much for St Thomas's staff, they put their heart into everything they do to make us well again.

After undergoing surgery in France, I had a suprapubic catheter that needed removal with a prescription from a urologist. When I went to the hospital, they told me it would be done after my antibiotics treatment. I returned as instructed, but after seeing two doctors and a urologist, none wanted to take responsibility for removing it. They directed me to my GP, who then directed me back to the hospital, creating an indefinite loop. Ultimately, I had to take an expensive train to France the next day for a 15-minute appointment to remove the catheter. It's frustrating that no one in the NHS was willing to take responsibility for this simple procedure, especially since a nurse could have done it. I question why we pay for the NHS if we can't access healthcare when we need it. Having a catheter piercing through the belly and bladder is a high risk for infection and complications. Everyone agreed it needed removal, but no one stepped up to do it. It's a shame because I was optimistic about having it done at such a renowned hospital. However, I must say that the on-site organization seems good, and the staff are nice.

The best hospital I have ever visited and been in an as a patient. All the staff and consultants are so professional and also very kind and reassuring. Their care was outstanding. If I could give more stars I would double them. Thank you St Thomas’s

Amazing! First of all, the receptionists at the maternity unit need to be a lot more friendlier and welcoming. Everytime I’ve gone there, they have always been a bit cold, blunt and rude which I don’t like considering the fact I’m in pain. Anyway, the MIDWIVES, were amazing. Particularly Sophie, Rea and Suki. I just want to thank them in particular because they were so patient and kind with me. Even the other midwives i saw briefly, Shekilah - so warm and kind. The rooms were amazing and I just really am thankful for you all. You really made my birthing experience a good one :)

For me it is the best hospital in London, they are kind, polite, helpful, excellent professionals, empathetic. I had to have gallbladder surgery and they explained it to me in detail. At no point was I treated badly because I wasn't British. Quite the opposite. They managed to so kindly minimize my tension and reassure me. I can't thank them enough and I hope other hospitals learn from them. My daughter can accompany me all the time to help me with English and at a difficult moment the very responsible doctor asked for a translator because there were very technical words and she wanted to make sure everything was clear. My sister may be in the room waiting. Thank you very much to ALL employees

We went to the St. Thomas hospital A&E yesterday to get our mother treated for her an injury in her wrist, we were attended by Dr. Chad Parkes who first made our mother feel comfortable who was screaming with pain and then gave her right treatment and advise. Highly appreciate the time and attention doctor dedicated to listen to our mother patiently and diagnose her properly before starting the treatment. There was no haste at all and it was amazing to see that all the staff and the doctor were available to answer our endless questions. Thank you so much for the needed support!
