Fantastic little place, me and my son regularly go there after a stay and play group upstairs. The staff are incredibly friendly and the coffee is great, but my the cakes are incredible! Amazing sizes for extremely reasonable prices, and each one absolutely delicious. I haven't had many of the lunches, but I had the fish finger sandwich and it was very tasty, and the side salad had a very nice dressing. The quiche was also the best quiche I've had in my whole life! There's also a little play area for little ones to play so it's very, very kid friendly.

As ever, PERFECT place to rest with a nice cuppa, tea, a slice of home-made cake. Very good value. Natural chef with creative talent for baking !

I visited for a coffee and slice of cake with my baby. It was SO nice. The cake was a fresh coffee and walnut cake that was v light and fluffy. The portion was nice and generous too. There was plenty of space for the pram and it had a lovely calm atmosphere. The people running the cafe were really welcoming. I’m local and we have lots of lovely cafes in Bath, but this was the best cake and atmosphere I have come across.

Karolina makes some of the best cakes in Bath. Following the fire at Green Park that destroyed the Honey Box, she is now running the Honey Cafe at St Swithins. She is offering a full menu but so far I am still focussed on the cake.

We live close to this new cafe so called in for coffee and cake. The coffee was very good and all the cakes and slices were fresh and delicious. Our orange and polenta cake was superb. The goats cheese and caramelised onion quiche had a generous filling and a fine, thin pastry crust. All the food is fresh and home made by a lovely lady that works there and the service was so friendly. The cafe is within St Swithin’s church at the end of Walcot Street so a little bit out of the way but totally worth the short walk.

I was interested in visiting this church to look at the architecture and because of its Jane Austen connection (Jane’s parents were married here) and was delighted to come across the cafe in the crypt. I had a very nice and good value cappuccino and toasted sandwich. Cafe was lovely and quiet with welcoming staff and perfect free WiFi.

We were ambling up Walcot Street looking at the shops and came across the church at the top. The Church is fascinating and the coffee shop a real bonus. The cakes looked scrummy, the coffee excellent and the menu showed the days specials for main meals which looked imaginative and reasonably priced.

Found this by accident the first time but have returned regularly. It's at the end of Walcot Street, one of Bath's more 'interesting' and 'alternative' streets. Offers home-made soups and baked potatoes (and probably more) as well as baking and teas/coffees. Good value - especially compared with the city centre outlets - and good quality. Not 'fine dining' but friendly and relaxed. Unfortunately the church above only seems to be open during Wednesday but it is the one where Jane Austen's parents were married and where her father was buried.

Classy, well stocked bar with great food and fantastic service with a smile. Hidden gem close to city centre but in quiet location next to Henrietta Park.

I know. Bath has SO MANY wonderful coffee shops…. But MUS is delightful. Immaculate seating in this intimate location, with exceptional coffee served by genuine Spanish/Colombian speakers. Sit outside or in, stroll down Widcombe’s shopping area or over the road, next to the river, all the way to picturesque Pulteney Bridge. Relax. Or meet for a business meeting that can’t fail to go well. MUS is a MUST.

Nice coffee, food and service in pleasant surroundings. The town is a little small but has a very old church with interesting Norman architecture.

Beautiful, family-run cafe near the Jane Austen Centre in Bath. This was my FAVORITE place for tea/coffee in the three days we were in Bath. Gluten-free options were terrific--Lemon Cake!--and the walnut/chocolate cake was divine. Tea was terrific, too. Great, low key atmosphere and awesome humans working there. Will definitely be a destination next time I'm in Bath!
