Coffever in Bath and North East Somerset

I had a double espresso with the Honduras blend. Obscenely good coffee, probably the best double espresso I've ever had. They used some sort of weird needle aeration device that I've never seen before expressing the espresso. Probably the best coffee in Bath which is saying something.

Wow, the coffee here is unbelievably good. I've been chasing something this good since I had a flat white to die for in Kawa, Paris a couple of years ago. The first sip of the offering in Coffever transported me right back to that. I would consider myself a little bit of a coffee snob and Coffever is as good as anywhere in the world. The staff are also super friendly. Would highly recommend!

Tough call on who makes the best coffee in Bath: these guys or No. 11 Espresso Bar 🤔 Coffever roast their own beans and the flavour was truly superb. Recommend you try this place and No. 11 and decide who’s the best for yourself. My money’s on here.

I had a lovely v60 here. The barista (who I understood to also be the owner and roaster!) was exceptionally helpful, giving his thoughts about the different coffee beans on offer with tasting notes and descriptions. He also offered good brewing advice for the beans I bought to take home. Many thanks again. I wish this was my local coffee place to visit regularly, but unfortunately my wife and I were just visiting Bath.

This Indonesian roast is the smoothest liqueur I've ever had, cross between a warm sherry and dark chocolate treat! Enjoy!

I was in Bath for 2 days and was excited to visit coffever. The coffee was ok, but the man behind the counter shouted on me while I was smelling a coffee bean bag and said I should not do this, my son was with me and we both got terrified of his act, I was going to buy the bag and take it and his excuse that he was afraid that the beans lost its aroma, one of my worst experiences in a coffee shop ever.

Quick stop in for morning drink as had arrived in Bath after a train journey from Dorchester. Sometimes you just get lucky where you stop. My wife had a pot of tea and I stayed with my normal latte. I drink alot of latte which is nice but generally all the same but this one must have been a different blend of coffee as it had such a lovely flavour to it. I tasted more coffee than the milk and it really hit the spot. Very friendly staff. Thanks guys

A cafe shop with Hong Kong people who love coffee and are very enthusiastic. The cheesecake is delicious and there are many types of coffee. I bought 3 packs of different flavors. The owner copied the coffee beans himself and drank them slowly👍

I could not recommend this place more highly. I’m fortunate enough to travel for work and always go to coffee shops wherever I go and this is one of, if not the, best that I’ve ever been. The owner obviously cares passionately about his craft and it really shows in the coffee. He could not be nicer or more enthusiastic about coffee and he personally roasts all his beans for the shop. If you want coffee, stop whatever you’re doing and come here now.

Really great coffee! We’ve been trying all of the coffee shops in Bath and this is definitely one of the best though obviously it depends what you like. I had a cortado (which was actually made like a macchiato…) which had a nice distinct, strong, clean taste. I’ll definitely be back again and will update review with more in the future!

Best coffee in Bath! If you’re looking for a fruity, light roasted bean, skilfully poured, this is it! Located in a cute alleyway in the centre of town, the shop is cosy and quaint. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

A truly excellent coffee. Doesn't get better than this. The vegan flapjack was also excellent and the service was very good. Note, it is a no laptop cafe, in case you are hoping to work.

This is the coffee shop in Bath you want to visit. We came in and Marco was extremely warm and helped us with coffee recommendations. The coffee roasted in house is fantastic with a Taiwan roaster. We had ordered an espresso tonic, a latte and matcha based drink which were all incredible as well as their dessert. Marco has a in-depth knowledge of coffee and it was a joy speaking to him and learning more about his views of coffees. With his beans he was helpful in recommending brew structure and which notes he was highlighting with the specific pour style. Highly recommended to check out.

A really well-located specialty coffee house with superbly curated beans choices, friendly owners/baristas who know what they are doing, and best of all, the cup does not break the bank. They also have tables for sit-ins on the first floor so you can hang around for a bit as well.

I wanted to give a shout-out to this new addition to the independent Bath coffee scene. It's a lovely place located on one of the narrow pedestrian-only corridors in central Bath. On a sunny day, you can enjoy your coffee sitting at one of its outdoor tables. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have had A LOT of coffees in my day. By far in my top three ever. I usually have a coffee with some sort of milk but I could tell this was going to be quality brew. I got an Americano and it was the BEST I have ever had. The service was also incredible! Baristas were super informed and kind. Highly highly highly recommend. Also- super affordable!

This is a cozy little cafe with delicious pastries and drinks - I had a great hot chocolate here. Other reviews mention great coffee as well. Service is wonderful and we received several recommendations during our time here. I highly recommend coming here and trying the coffee / hot chocolate as well as a pastry or two. Most of the seating is up one set of stairs - be aware of this.

Very friendly owners took the time to explain their bean options & tell me a little about their business. As well as sourcing great coffee beans the owners roast their own batches that you can try! The baked goods are made in house - I had the strawberry cake & the berries were fresher than I could find on a farm. Coffee was excellent - definitely recommend!

Toilet out of order. Biggest issue is lack of decent furniture… sat on children’s school chairs! Coffee was nice though expensive

Really passionate and helpful couple that run the place. Helped us understand the different types of pour-over coffee. They recently brought the business to Bath, from Hong Kong. Really impressed. Drinks were excellent and the cakes were very good too. The latte art was off the scale, and the cups are really cool. Thoroughly enjoyed visit. Space to sit upstairs, so don’t be fooled by the small shopfront. Outside seating is nice too.

Very cute place in a lovely pedestrian street. Baked cheesecake was delicious, and both the coffee and tea was very tasty. Friendly service too.

Their coffee is awesome and has a good purpose behind it. Sanctuary coffee saves animals. Marco opened the store 6 weeks ago and the service is lovely. I got an oat milk flat white which was delicious. The only thing I would like to improve is the flat white cup's material. Overall 5 stars because of taste service and animal friendly coffee & place. He even has a bottomless portafilter. Really professional

I recently visited Coffever and was blown away by the quality of their coffee and desserts. Their carrot cake unlike most carrot cakes, which can be overly sweet, this one struck the balance of sweetness and spice. The cream cheese icing was velvety smooth and complemented the moist cake perfectly. To top it off, the owner kindly offered us a taste of their new product, a matcha chocolate cake. The combination of matcha and chocolate was heavenly, and I am sure it will become a new favorite for many customers. Overall, I highly recommend Coffever for anyone looking for a quality coffee and dessert experience. The passion for coffee is evident in every cup, and the delicious treats are the perfect accompaniment.
