St Marys Social Club in Cannock Chase

First time for Sunday lunch. Absolutely amazing and well worth the money. Good choice of veg aswell. Infact, too much choice of everything!!

I had my wedding reception at St Mary’s Social club and it was absolutely amazing. The room was beautiful and the carvery was perfect. I had 68 day time guests and the service was incredible. The evening buffet was perfect and everyone complimented the food. Becky went above and beyond all day and night catering to guests. The effort she made to make my day amazing couldn’t be matched anywhere else. I’m so grateful to everyone who was involved and if you’re looking for a venue St Mary’s is amazing value and will work hard to ensure everything is perfect for your event. Thank you to the team and especially to Becky for making my day perfect

Went for the carvery meal and was not disappointed lovely meal plenty of vegetables to choose from friendly staff very helpful would definatley recommend this carvery will definatley be going again real value for money

Cannot believe how expensive the drinks are!! More expensive than Barsport and other bars in Cannock and we didn't even order alcohol! Shocking... 1 redbull, 1 coke and 2 cordials and it cost £9.45!!! More expensive than someone who order pints. Still in shock! Don't go there if you want non alcoholic drinks, you might as well drink a pint!

The food is well presented and tasty the staff is very friendly definitely recommend you would not be disappointed.

Carveries are served Wednesdayy and Thursday and again as a Sunday lunch. There are always a choice of meats and a good sellection of vegetables.Friday night is steak night but other dishes are available. BBooking is advised but not always essensial

This club is a very good community club with a very good atmosphere on the social nights in the function room. However , last week at a tribute night for Franki Valli, the room was far too overfull, tables were crammed together, with very little room to move , trying to get out to go the toilets or to the bar was horrendous, other people were slopping drinks over you as they struggled to get passed to their table , there were tables that had been obviously laid on to sell extra tickets and others added in to the end of other people’s tables , you could not move - it was we felt quite dangerous Health & Safety wise if anything happened The club is obvious trying hard to mags a profit , which hopefully will be shown in some redecorating and replacing The club offers really good food and the staff are friendly

We have been to several functions at the club and have been impressed with the room and facilities on offer The bar prices are reasonable and there’s not a bad choice of drinks on offer There is also plenty of parking as well

a pleasant tidy bar area , with lots of seating. good selection of drinks inc a variety of gins. a good reputation for the carvery - on wednesday / thursday (oap) + sundays. home cooked , with a nice selection of meats/veg , all freshly served. meat servings are not shy ?. prices are exelent in comparrison with wot you get,....best £5 you will spend all week. ideal for mid-week meal , after work. overhaul , a good comfortable venue
