I was there on Saturday, the 6th of July with two of my friends the bouncers come up to me because I spilt a drink they then decided to scoff me up grab me and throw me outside and then got jumped by six men the bouncers all stood there and never done anything dreadful place would never go there again if anyone is from London don’t go there they was basically bullying me because I was from London they kicked and stamped all over my face I have called the police and I am pushing the matter further

Terrible food . Not like what it used to be . The kitchen does not have a chef . It's a cook . Never again will I buy food from there.

Went to bar sport to watch a sporting event with friends, the atmosphere was fantastic, I decided to have some food , although the bar was busy the food arrived promptly and was delicious, what was meant to be a 90 minute visit, ended up lasting 6 hours, would recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Cannock

Witnessed Coventry City smash up Wolves in injury time to reach the semi final of the FA Cup. This left a sour taste in my mouth and dampened my experience at Bar Sport. The food was really good. Great menu. There was a big man upstairs who once I looked into the room said for me to leave its not open yet. Atmosphere and service leave a lot to be desired. It's ok

First time going to Bar Sport yesterday & really enjoyed my experience. A great sports bar dedicated to the world of sport with a number of really interesting, fun pieces of sporting memorabilia & on the numerous TVs showing sports. No matter where you sit, you'll have a great view of the sporting action. Really quick bar service & helpful, attentive staff. My pulled pork burger was SO good! The pulled pork was delightful & the size of the burger & sides were well worth the money. The atmosphere was buzzing. Wish I'd have stayed for the DJ into the early hours! Overall, very pleased with Bar Sport & will definitely return. Ian

Personally, my pub to go to in cannock , it has everything I want, from personal booth with tv to functions like burns night ect, the owner goes out is way (scott), good staff that make my kids feel happy, spot on

Over priced drinks that make you ill...food is not cooked correctlymost times its raw.....the dj has only one cd and plays it every weekend ..and they only comment on good reviews ...says it all really

Maybe I'm abit old now but felt like the majority were under age, service good and served pretty quick, floors throughout were very very sticky

Simple but classic with a great atmosphere and customer service.

I went out with the girls and absolutely loved the atmosphere and the music. DJ’s r great, got to rate the choice in music and their timing. We’ll done guys, you made our night. Bar staff were all brilliant, especially Damien Terry and Ellie Aston who went out of their way to provide fantastic customer service. They are so attentive, aware of what’s going on, who is next in line, who needs what and handle difficult situations calming and professionally. They could definitely show others a lesson on how to provide an efficient, friendly and professional work ethic. Thank you for making our night and so many others one to remember. There was also a really nice security guard mainly in the outside smoking area and upstairs who was so nice to everyone and making sure everyone was OK, safe and ensuring he prevented any issues arising. I was really impressed with how he handled some difficult situations which could have escalated. He could definitely show other security member of staff how to interact with others. Anyway great night and would recommend to others looking for a great night out!

My son recently attended an induction for a part time bartender position, thinking that it would be a few hours. However upon arriving at the agreed time Friday 7:00pm the manager informed that he would be working a full 8 hours working shift. He then gave my son some forms to complete asking for his address, contact details, NI number & bank details. So my son naturally thought he would be paid for his time and inconvenience as he would need a taxi to come home after finishing at 3:00am. During the evening the current staff were very rude and unsupportive, and after working 6 hours he ask if he could take a break, to which the bar leader replied NO. By this time my son concluded that this position / establishment was not for him. He therefore politely informed the management thinking that he would be paid for his 6 hours work. Unbelievably the manager that he was not going to pay him for his time as he did not hire him. Unknowing to the establishment I stopped in the bar with the intention of reviewing the staff and there professionalism, in this time I ordered a few drinks and some food. The customer service I reviewed & received was awful, in that bartenders & waitstaff ignore customers, Slow service , disorganisation, staff members not prioritising customers, Rude & unfriendly staff members which create a hostile environment, Staff members not paying attention to customers' needs. After leaving the establishment I texted my son to see that he was OK, as expected he texted back a No in upper case to which I was not surprised after witnessing the chaotic, dysfunctional and supportive team he was working with. He then called my wife a few minutes later informing her about his experience and asking if I would collected him. I just find it unbelievable that a potential new member of staff can be treated in this way and to allowed this poor customer service. Therefore due to my and my sons experience I totally would not recommend to visit or work at this establishment.

Great place to relax enjoy any sport from around the world. Fantastic staff especially Lexi she goes out of her way to brighten you day 😊.

On a weeknight so it was quiet. But service was quick and friendly.

Bar Sports in Cannock 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 แมร่งควยมาก 👎🏼 I’m go inside waiting to buy drink long time. When it my turn staff she take orders from women who wait in the back first. Then I’m just said “ Excuse me I’m come before her” Then she told the guard to take me out. WHAT !!! What I’m doing wrong why take me out. Guard just said I don’t know but you have to leave. 🙄 I’m never ever go back again

We went to a party there it was a great room up stairs not ideal if you can't go up stairs they do have a stairs lift but it's slow so if you've got more than at a time it may take a while

Love going to Bar sport for food and to watch the sport, They host some great events as well.

Great night out havnt seen trouble there in ages although one if the new bouncers needs to retrain was told to stop laughing and he got very aggressive as I tried to ignore his unprofessional abuse of power definitely a flight risk

went for the amateur boxing. very welcoming, pleasant staff and the food was good too. worth a visit

Have cocktails on the menu but refuse to do them whilst the footy is on. Either sell cocktails or don’t sell cocktails.

The whole place needs a revamp. It's been like it is now for the past 20 years. The ladies toilets were disgusting. There were 3 toilets unusable and when complained I was told they would inform the manager and told to use the disabled toilet instead. There is carpet coming away from the stairs. It just needs money spending on it.

No NFL redzone on a Sunday we went in, women's college basketball instead. £6 a pint, half price next door 2 stars as staff were friendly and helpful enough

This place massively needs a freshen up and I don’t mean aesthetically, but mainly the dj upstairs. I WANT to go out in Cannock every week but I just can’t take him playing the EXACT same songs in practically the EXACT same order week in, EVERY WEEK! He even plays some songs twice in the same night. I went out Friday and Saturday this past weekend and there was literally no difference between the two. And barely any Xmas songs. Are there not more songs in the world?? Quite frankly it’s tedious, boring, and making me not want to go to Bar Sport. No wonder there’s no young people in there

Went there for few drinks and it's a good night out with mates

Went for lunch with my family after being before multiple times. Food was not edible. Burger buns were rock solid. Fries were from Aldi. Coleslaw was served warm. Cheap cheese slices over the chilli & cheese hotdog. Kids sausages were like Asda smart price. For a £50 meal we expected more than this. How ever we were refunded and the staff were very friendly and helpful regarding this matter. Probably won’t be coming back.

The best sport bar anywhere in England at a lovely town called cannock owners name Scott,very friendly guy that place is lively and buzzing it's so big one can easily get lost sending you back in time by admiring the photos/memorabilia of the great superstars on the wall football stars, rugby stars,boxing stars. ect its like a big museum, very friendly staff food was so good we visited the bar sport twice in 3 days and also our boxer's was promised a stake meal if they won the university boxing championship gold medal which they did win 3 gold medals. We enjoyed the hospitality we received from your staff and yourself SCOTT ❤ thank you so much on behalf of all of us at Repton boxing club we hope to come back in the near future. 😀

Not been here for some time due to covid but always used to have good time. Decided to come here with a friend for night out and was really disappointed. Music was really poor that was played and shocking at how hardly anyone dresses up or makes an effort these days. What happened to getting dressed up to go out? What happened to dress codes? Only had one drink and went elsewhere. Really needs improving!!

Big sport's bar, loads of TV's and plenty of bars dotted around. Huge upstairs with function room and another bar. Decor and carpets have seen plenty of parties and are a little worn but overall I could you having a great night here. Enjoyed watching the boxing event, staff were helpful and polite.

Great table service during the match and made life easier.. confusing concepts with the canopy and vaping outside.. but rules are rules.. all in all.. Good afternoons sports viewing spot!

Pretty chilled, but can't take drinks out for a cig unless you have a table outside... music was surprisingly good from Mary J Blige to spice girls (not a huge fan of that crew but was a fun night).. staff were brilliant; very polite yet friendly

Visited with a friend for food, burgers and sandwich was very good! Plenty of garden space and cover for the rain! Staff went above and beyond to deliver our meals dry. Couldn't fault our visit, great food, great service thank you.

It was an extremely good atmosphere considering this bulls#*t virus the bar staff are professional with fantastic service, the door staff are very respectfully and some of the best door staff I have come across all in all I will definitely be returning and would urge anyone else to go to the venue plenty of seating and outdoor space it was a pleasure to attend

You stuck to the floor, not enough staff on bar and couldn't get served at the bar upstairs after paying £3.50 to get in, so left and went somewhere else for a drink.
