.Bought 2 pasties just before closing time. Had one warmed up in the Microwave and it remained nice and crispy. The meat and vegetable filling were delicious. We shared an incredible apple and raspberry turnover. Would definitely return if in the area again

Lovely bakery with the best chelsea buns we have had in a long time. Traditional pasties also very good. Always a must to stop off here for the Chelsea buns and take home as a present from Brecon!

Avoid if you’re vegan. I was assured by two members of staff that my pasty was vegan, only to find chunks of chicken in it. Please avoid if you have any allergies or dietary needs. Either they don’t know what they are serving or knowingly misleading customers. Not good either way.

I really can't express how highly I would recommend this hidden little gem! Great selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, bread, pasties and the cakes 😍🤤 they are to die for! The ladies there are so lovely and welcoming too. We are camping in Pencelli at the moment and knowing this bakery is close by really helps

We stopped here to break up a long journey. Straight away it seemed very unwelcoming. My son is autistic, and because he seemed more comfortable in the corner section we asked to move tables. We were advised that was the dog friendly section, and obviously we would move if needed, it was quiet at the time, but this seem like an inconvenience to move tables. Then when my son was wandering in the pub, this seemed to annoy a couple of guests, and I know he seemed hyperactive but these are some of his autistic traits, this seemed to annoy one couple in particular, where the man was making very rude comments ( I know you have no control over who comes into your pub) but overall it just felt very unwelcoming in there. Are kids not allowed in here? It didn't seem like it. We come past this pub often, so we will not be stopping here again.

Travelled from south wales on our only child free weekend to recieve a terrible service! Arrived at 3:30 and the hot tub was freezing cold from the moment we got there! Tried to blame us for taking the lid off that it wasnt warm! Bed was unmade with no bottom sheet. Did not recieve an email with terms and conditions about bbq’s on the grass which id say having signs for people to see no bbq’s on the grass would be more obvious! Tried to fine us 100£ for the grass and 200£ for leaves being in the hot tub when i dont understand how you can avoid that if your in the hot tub most of the day/night with trees surrounding your pod! Just another excuse! We didn’t get the chance to use the hot tub! Filled us with excuses from the moment we got there promised the hot tub would be warm by 9 and then it went to theyll empty and refill with warm water instead, but that didnt happen! Also ignored any repsonsibility to answer our questions on when the hot tub would be useable! Could have saved ourselves £120 and stayed at home in our garden! Our third stay there and thats our thanks! Would not recommend or return!

It was a lovely pub and the food was excellent, cooked by Sue. We stayed for three nights in the biggest room so plenty of space to spread out. I can highly recommend. Will we go back? Definitely YES!
