Place is supposed to close at 10pm. At 9.24 the staff member was already locking up with all the lights and machines already off. She told us they can’t take orders after 9.30 but it was only 9.24 and she’d already turned everything off. She refused to serve us. This will be reported to trading standards. Shame. Sprinkles is a great company but this staff member let the company reputation down massively.

Where do I start as it was just an awful experience from start to finish Dirty and worn out seating area Tables left dirty Understaffed Ran out of vanilla ice creams so had to improvise on orders Smoothie was nothing more than 2 strawberries and ice Milk shake was mostly ice Massively overpriced Sticky floor Furniture stacked up to the ceiling one side of shop When I did complain about the smoothie and supposedly milk shake 2 staff gave me the evil eye behind the lady who arranged for it to be replaced The 2nd attempt was only partially better All in all it was in the top 10 of work food experiences and I have left feeling totally ripped off

Went in as little treat, been lots of times previously so knew what to expect with staff and service. When we arrived it was fairly busy but service was quick ish. The issue was 3 children 3-7ish running around screaming, shouting, running across empty booths and chairs and basically using the place as a race way whilst the two mothers sat In a corner. One child had the most ear piercing screams which made everyone winch. The staff ignored the chaos and the mothers didn’t care either. In fairness one mother did threaten to slap one child at one point. So top marks for parenting skills!! Now don’t get me wrong I know it’s not the Ritz but it isn’t Jungle Jim’s soft play either. A female member of staff was asked about the kids running around and a reply of “I don’t know” followed by a swift retreat behind the counter. As we left I sarcastically said to the male behind the counter is this a regular thing on Sundays or a one off…..the reply was “they were having a party and fun init” So basically screw other paying customers and anything goes at This branch of Sprinkles.

The place is tired and run down, peeling wallpaper, knackered furniture and just a depressing vibe about the place. The ice cream was alright but I think the fad for ice cream bars has run its course. Not much of a effort seems to be put into upkeep after what was obviously a lot of initial investment. Go elsewhere and save your time and money.

The hygiene was honestly shocking. It was disgusting and we won’t go again. Filthy high chair I had to literally wipe down with anti-bac wipes, filthy floor and tables. My baby’s socks were literally black (no exaggeration) after a few steps on the floor. Poor service too. This was probably last summer but have only just written this review.

Not sure if restaurant staff are meant to be wearing visors? But nothing worn here. No masks and no visors. I feel safer with staff wearing PPE. Place feels as if it needs a good clean too.

I always opt for a cake and coffee while the kids have an ice cream. Ice cream seems good but the cakes are always disappointing - next time i won’t bother. The cheesecake I had most recently was particularly bad. Coffee’s ok though.

This place has deteriorated in a very small space of time, we have been a couple of times before and apart from the tired ripped seating it wasn't too bad. Today on the other hand was awful, right near the til there was a shocking unpleasant smell which put you off initially and then we watched as three orders were returned close by for being incorrect, the coffee was delicious and the waffles were tasty but the I had to return the cutlery twice as it was filthy and the woman who went away and got me the first replacement set had food all over her gloves and held the cutlery with these food covered gloves, surely common sense would prevail here. The staff were working hard but this place needs a serious DEEP CLEAN and replacement of the seat covers for something less perishable would be a good idea. Our daughter felt so sickly after seeing the cutlery and dirty napkin the woman passed her she didn't enjoy the visit at all. The smell, by the counter was as if someone had walked something awful into the building or touched a counter with yucky hands I can't believe the staff couldn't smell it. This will be my last visit here for sure.

It’s ok, nothing special, milkshake was slightly disappointed didn’t taste chocolaty considering it was suppose to be made all out of chocolate and very runny.

I visited as a treat with my son and grandson, I have never been to a Sprinkles before so was excited about being able to go and treat them. I was expecting it to be busy, but there was loads of seating Wasn’t sure what to order as I had never been before and the menu which was a scrap of paper which didn’t really do the items any justice. My grandson had two scoops of ice cream and one topping of sprinkles ( the topping cost 50p) and I had one scoop of ice cream My son ordered a smoothie which he waited half hour for, he eventually asked if he could take it out instead as my grandson was restless by this time of waiting so long I was very disappointed that it had cost ten pounds, plus fuel to get there only to be disappointed I wouldn’t go back The service was very very slow

At one point you’d have to que to get a seat in here but you can easily see now why it’s almost empty. The place is a tatty mess, dirty & a very odd unpleasant smell. Service is awful & the music so loud the staff can’t even hear you. Sorry we won’t be back.

Went in during a busy period to see two till staff working extremely hard - hats off to them it appeared they were a man down. The place was crammed with screaming kids and it was loud. The till staff member that served me spoke only broken English which made ordering difficult, and I ended up being charged 50p for extra banana topping that I didn't ask for, and when I made a complaint the staff member simply refused to refund me, and I wasn't aware until I had actually been served that she had amended the mistake (yet I had not been refunded of course). When trying to take it up with what appeared to be a manager (not wearing uniform) she also could barely speak English, and gestured toward the till repeating "please, please" . At least I didn't have any banana on my waffle.

Arrived after an hour and a bit, crepes were cold and chewy, really unappetising and not very pleasant to eat. Milkshakes were luke warm, and the milkshake listed as being peanut butter and oreo pieces tasted more like banana? For £20, it's disappointing.

Came here last Sunday about 8pm. Not really busy but after we ordered it did get busier, but it wasn't full up. There were 5 of us, so after 20 mins only 2 ice creams turned up, another 5 mins wait for 2 more and another 5mins for the last one. This is poor service and I can only say that they were nice and filling in their defence.

Visitamos aquí después de un mal viaje a Cremas. Estábamos un poco dudosos después de una visita anterior a la sucursal de Bournemouth, pero esta visita fue brillante. I go with a friend to sprinkles most weeks and to my horror they have replaced the fresh cream with artificial cream , I think it’s terrible and will not be going back

Lovely ice cream though not as fresh tasting as normal but the tables and behind counter were filthy and the lady cleaning them was glaring at the customers as if we were in her way when there were lots of others tables she could clear a number or other customers commented that it looked like she wanted us all gone which for 7.30 pm we couldn’t understand she was also very very slow and the young girl behind the counter needed order repeated 5-6 times which when it is only for 2 x 2 scoop ice creams is a bit extreme but even after repeating all those she went over and tried to pick up wrong cone on both customer service definitely wasn’t on the agenda this evening which was disappointing as never had issues here before

A nice place to go for a sweet treat! Lots of ice cream flavours available as well as choice of waffles, crepes and sundaes. Prices on the high side, but fine for a treat.

This was our second visit but have to say it may be our last sadly, don't like to write a poor review but have to be honest. Service was slow, staff lack basic customer service skills i.e. communication, eye contact, smiling and polite dialogue. Placing order at counter felt rushed and had table clearer pushing past us twice with her trolley, no excuse me just pushing past. Girl taking order was clearly stressed and abrupt with everyone. Once our order was rushed through we waited 15 minutes for us both to receive our ice creams, the 10 minute gap in between delivery of them both didn't really work so I had nearly finished before my husband's had arrived. Ice creams and drinks were both good hence the 2 stars but don't expect to pay nearly £20 for such poor service by staff who clearly don't want to be there. Real shame could be so much better with a little more staff training and a bit of enthusiasm!

Plenty of choice and ample seating. Reasonably priced. The portion sizes are big and cooked fresh to order. The children couldn’t finish their waffles but really enjoyed them. Would return again for a treat.

Having enjoyed a visit to the Sprinkles in Bournemouth, as we were in Winton decided to give this branch a try and in all honesty wish we hadnt bothered.

Sprinkles is terrible - the ice-cream is rubbish. But my friends visiting wanted ice-cream so I reluctantly recommended it as it's such a short walk away. The girl serving has NO idea about customer service. She didn't say "Hello" she said "Yeah?". No smile at all.

Gelato experience not to be missed. Size of dishes were excellent, so much so that one could easily share a single dish. Choices are mouth watering and delicious.

Nice atmosphere, when ordering told we couldn't order a waffle as the waffle machine was broken so had to have a crepe. Still waited 30 mins as they only had one crepe plate. Why don't they buy 3 of each, when one of our orders arrived it was wrong. So I'll be trying Creams next time, very disappointed.

This place is well worth a visit. Very extensive menu gelato of every flavour you can think of.I had the waffles & strawberries & vanilla gelato which was amazing!! Generous portions & lovely & fresh.Will return when I'm not thinking about my healthy diet as a treat.

Took the grand-kids for a treat. not to busy.. nice and clean and the ice-cream was yummy. was very clean. The service was very good.

Just had a delicious waffle with strawbs, ice cream, and marshmallows. With a hot chocolate on the side.Unsurprisingly it was too rich for me to finish, but I do not see that as a bad thing.Place is clean, good atmosphere, quick service, an all round good effort.Would come again

Visited with a friend for a mid-week treat. Service was quick and the staff were very accommodating when I wanted to make changes due to lactose intolerance. They swapped my ice cream to sorbet for no extra charge and even made sure the spoon was properly washed first so there would be no traces. I ordered a waffle with strawberries which came out very quickly. Waffle was not warm and slightly over cooked but still tasty. Strawberries were not quite ripe but there were a very large quantity. Would definitely recommend for children as very relaxed atmosphere. Would visit again but probably chose something else - the menu is very extensive and loads of variations to choose from!

Popped into the Winton branch for a friends birthday. The place was very quiet but this meant the service was super quick! Staff were very friendly and all our desserts were nicely presented and very tasty!

If I could have given a rating in service would of been zero. Run by kids and no one seemed to care . This business will not last if it continues to be run like this. Shame because the concept and actual ice creams are very good

Probably not the best time to review a restaurant, however Monday afternoon after school and it was fine. Quiet, clean and plenty of ice cream on display. Took 5 minutes to get our food and it was very nice. There is little else I can say.

Horrific, I came with friends when the place wasn't too busy, waited over half an hour for food then only half of the groups turned up. Friend burnt their hand on scolding metal dish and we were all given drinks in dirty glasses.The staff were very rude when I asked for updates, an hour later once my other friends had finished eating mine and another's food turned up freezing cold and stale. When we asked to speak to a manager we were refused, staff were extraordinarily rude. WILL NOT BE RETURNING DUE TO AWFUL SERVICE- WORST SERVICE IN BOURNEMOUTH.

Went with 5 other friends, our food came at different times after waiting 40 minutes. After we had finished eating, 2 of my friends still hadnt received their food to which we complained. After this, their food arrived, COLD!! We then complained to the waitress who was very nasty and rude towards us. Another member of staff came to us to see what had happened but did not seem to care very much about our experience!! Waste of money, awful customer service, would NOT recommend!!

What an amazing range of ice creams. My eyes popped out like organ stops.I had to choose very carefully and it was a hard decision. The staff were great and the music was good. It was like sitting in an america diner.We went in after a play at the Bournemouth Little Theatre Club.

We have been to Sprinkles many times, but enjoy it each time we go. The Bournemouth branch is particularly generous with their servings. You definitely get what you pay for!

Went there this evening with our two granddaughters.They went into overdrive when they saw so many ice cream flavours, not to mention the cup cakes.We all had some delicious choices including yummy crepes with strawberries and cream, Nutella and cookies, chocolate Heaven Sundae, Knickerbocker Glory with so much fresh fruit and delicious shakes.A real treat for the kids and for everyone who adores ice cream.We will be back!!

Popped in to get a couple milkshakes to takeaway. Delicious as always! Usually I have a waffle which are very good value for money and they are generous portion sizes. Been a few times and not been disappointed with the food.

Love sprinkles yes it's expensive but worth the money , my favourite is nutty professer, pretty clean and friendly a must go place if you love ucecream , so many different flavors

Bizarre location for such a great dessert place. One day had breakfast lunch and tea here while in bournemouth. My advice would be go for the scoops of ice cream instead of the sundaes

I came first thing this morning 30th July, 2016 at 0900 am to meet a friend for coffee or maybe a crepe , I was sitting near the bay windows at the far end, I was on my phone txting and browsing the Internet when suddenly one of the staff member/ cleaner not on a sprinkles uniform put his cleaning stuffs like the mr muscle man spray cleaner and loads of blue tissues on the table where I was sitting right in front of me without saying anything !Very very very rude!!! Is this the customer service we are getting first thing in the morning on a bright Saturday day in winton? I was very annoyed and find it disgusting ! The staff member / cleaner just didn't say anything and continued to clean the mirror and the bay windows with his step ladder !!! I decided to move to another table and txt my friend that we are not having coffee or crepe in sprinkles gelato winton ever again ! Just a terrible terrible attitude ! I can't comment on food as I wasn't given a chance to eat or drink due to the attitude of the staff member.

I came here with my grown up son and we had the best waffles we had ever had, made right then and there, hot fresh and with yummy icecream

If you want a loud TV filled room showing Niki minaj and Miley Cyrus videos at 11 o'clock on a Tuesday morning you have found the place. Nice ice cream shame about everything else. If loud a brash is your thing go for it.

Visited today for a family treat, my eldest had a waffle which was well priced and tasted decent, my other two children both had sundaes, they both left in excess of 75%, I tried to finish one but after three mouthfuls I didn't want anymore.The sundaes were expensive, consist of excess amounts of cheap squirty cream and a few scoops of poor grade ice cream which had an artificial/chemical after taste. You would be better off visiting a beefeater for your sundae due to the quality and value for money (even though you only get mr whippy in your sundae). In the past I have visited sites such as Joe Delucci and their gelato and icecream is far superior and priced in the same bracket. I can guarantee I will not be returning to sprinkles which I feel trades on in its name and reputation which is not deserved.

Having visited the bournemouth branch on more than one occasion we popped in as were in Winton. The place was packed and there was a long queue for the till to order and people standing around waiting for tables. My daughter and I checked out the menu as we queued whilst keeping our eyes peeled for a table. It took a good 15 minutes to get to the till. The staff member who served was polite and efficient. Once we paid we stood around waiting for a table. Luckily one became free just as our order came out of we would have had to stand up to eat. A staff member cleared and wiped the table down for us which was good. The music was a little loud for a Saturday afternoon and with the shop being very busy it made other very noisy and I could hardly hear my daughter talking over the music and chatter. I had the coconutty sundae which is delicious with coconut and pistachio ice cream and bounty bar. My daughter had the Strawberry surprise sundae which was huge. She did not finish it. Lovely treat but it is expensive so sadly won't be regular customers.

Very quick service and easy to manage. Wide range of ice creams - anything you can think of and they will probably have it! You go up to the counter yourself and order and then your dessert is brought to the table. Staff are nice and efficient.

I visited sprikels in Winton with my family for a well deserved treat, the property is lovely but the manager is shocking. I asked for a two scope ice cream but to be put in two different small tubes because I don't like them mixed together. the lady on the till said that I would have to pay for a extra cost of 50p for a tub which I thinks is discussing, I said to the lady on the till that I didn't want to pay extra for it because I'm paying for two scope not 1 and I have ordered I dessert for each of my family so I'm not slitting it between others. The manager over heard this conversation and came to me and said "what do you want" at this point I was very angry and upset with the response he gave me, I told him the situation I had and he said "whats the problem just pay for the tub" I was so shocked at the way he responded. with this I asked his position in the business, he said he was the owner of the shop. After this is I went back to my family and left the building. On the way out he shouted from the till area say I was a rude person. I will not be returning to the Winton branch of sprinkle.

We travel all the way to Bournemouth from Hertfordshire and stay the night just so we can enjoy a day at the beach and eat at Sprinkles, as it's my families favourite pudding place! We've never had a bad meal and the staff are more than happy to help you choose and create absolutely anything! Been several times and couldn't fault it at all.

This has to be one of the most over rated places in Bournemouth. It's not bad but not as great as everyone makes out.I think the prices are not good value for money. The portions are actually too big. (Think that's the first time I've ever said that ;-) )The staff are friendly though and service times reasonable. Food was ok quality wise but the waffles weren't quite right.

This place is amazing. Definitely recommend going here for dessert after a meal out.I have never seen so much choice of ice cream in my life. They also have lots of other things to have for dessert such as pancakes, waffles, cakes and many more.It is quite pricey but well worth it.The service was good to.

Except the crepes which were nice. none of us (8 of us) enjoyed the Sundaes and my husband's milkshake was horrible. He usually loves milkshake but he couldn't finish it as it tasted so awful. The gelato tasted really cheap and the chocolate sauce tasted like car de-icer.Plus the wait on the food all coming out 5 mins apart was annoying. The cleanliness of the tables, chairs and floor wasnt great even though we watched them clean it before we sat down. The menu's were very sticky.The only upside was the food and glasses did look pretty. Not worth the money.

This place is heaven for lovers of ice cream. So many flavours to choose from. I guess it is paradise for wanna be teens and teenagers. Very modern decor and large screens playing the latest music videos. A great location for a big treat.

My first experience in an establishment of this nature. Icecream of every flavour and colour and you could either pick a dish from their very extensive menu, or pick your own choices. Saturday mid afternoon it was very busy, and a very popular place with families. Great experience.

We were able to find seats straight away, after choosing from an extensive menu we were served very quickly. Staff were polite and helpful. Food was served really quickly and looked exactly like the photos and was delicious. It was clean inside and tables cleaned quickly. Perfect for a treat would highly recommend

Siamo in Inghilterra e non possiamo pretendere di mangiare gelato italiano. Ci siamo andati, all'ora di pranzo, una volta e devo dire che è stato piacevole. Abbiamo speso poco e ci siamo saziati con un buon gelato. L'ambiente è ampio e pulito, servizi igienici ok. Il servizio molto veloce pur essendoci molti clienti.

We went in for a birthday treat at 11am on a Sunday morning. There were hardly any other customers in. It started off well enough when our order was taken and read back correctly to us. We only ordered four different dishes and two coffees. The first came out after only 5 minutes. A further couple of minutes passed when the first coffee came out. It was then a further 5 minutes before the second plate arrived, followed by the second coffee. A further 5 minutes passed before the third plate arrived at the table, however they had got the order wrong on this one. Ice cream instead of cream. The waitress said she would go and get some cream. A further five minutes passed before the cream arrived, by which time most of us had finished eating. We asked the waitress where the fourth dish had got to. She had no idea and we had to tell her what it was. A further five minutes passed before the final dish arrived and one of our party had to eat alone. When this dish arrived there was not so much as an apology when it was set down before her. Needless to say we won't be going back there.

Sprinkles is famous with its sweets and stuff but the service is gettin worse and worse every year. Not sure if it can get any worse now.

Go there every Sunday but it seems like the cookie dough gets smaller every time they cover the whole plate with chocolate

I popped into Sprinkles in the afternoon on a very hot May weekday to get a nice cooling Ice Cream. I ordered a 2 flavour Ice Cream, Cherry and Milky Bar and it was lovely. Being during late afternoon it was fairly quiet and service was quick.

We came here to celebrate my birthday. We had ordered one waffle- of which we were waiting for, for about 25-30 mins. We had asked them where it was, and why it wastaking so long and they basically said they had forgotten about it and would do it now. So we waited another 10 mins to come back with a very overdone waffle. We asked the waitress (who couldn't really speak english, and was around 15) to see the manager. She just tutted at us and gave us the evilest glare ever. And started whispering to her 'colleagues' about us. I also fogot to mention that we had booked a birthday table the evening before and they had no record of it on their system! We did eventually get to speak to the manager who did apologise and gave us money back for the waffle. Not going here again and I suggest if you do visit, then only buy a sundae- which they scoop for you there and then, so it's very quick.

A good choice of flavours but the staff are not the friendliest.Poor communication due to lack of fluency makes for confusing conversation when trying to order.

Always very busy, never too long to wait. Crepes are amazing, as are the waffles.Gelato is what it is, nothing spectacular. Will probably go back.

The ice cream selection is fabulous. Have been several times and enjoyed the waffle withe strawberries and bananas mmmm.

Nice atmosphere and good for family treats. All ages seem to enjoy being there. Good service and nice staff.

If you love ice cream then you've just got to go here! Just the best ever sundae that I've ever had, and the presentation was awesome, so much chocolate, cream, ice cream, sauce and flake and everything!! The only thing that I really didn't like was that I couldn't finish it . But I'm not beaten, and I will return to face the challenge!

We thought it would be a nice treat to take the children here one evening after school. After reading some of the reviews I nearly changed my mind but thought we'd give it a try. I agree with those reviewers who complained that the music was too loud. Considering most people were out with partners/friends/family it would've been nice to hear the conversation. However, that said the staff were very polite & our order arrived quickly. Ice-creams were delightful & we all enjoyed them immensely! I think we picked a good time to visit (about 7:15pm on a Wednesday) as it was quite quiet - I have passed at other times & it's been packed! I would definitely visit again.

Huge porttions and plenty to choose from.i had the ferrero roche sundae on recommendation - not disappointed

I am not going to suggest this is the best place to visit for ice cream or desserts, but if you fancy a sweet treat of an evening it is worth a shot.Massive selection that will assist with any sugar cravings you have. You pay for it as it is not the cheapest but the experience but will likely have children amused although the portions would be big for a child.

We visited sprinkles during the summer holidays it was quite quiet and my family and I were really looking forward to the sundaes I chose the Ferrero Rochet sundae which looked delicious...... Early hours the following morning I had severe diarrhoea and sickness. My friend visited this bank holiday Monday and chose the same sundae and the exact same thing happened to her, diarrhoea and sickness! Extremely put off will not visit again!

The smallest ice creams are still too big for kids and a small sundae is adequate for an adult. There was a lot of wastage while we were there. They need to cut the price and portion size.

Arrived for breakfast on Sunday morning only to be told that they stopped serving it at 10.00 why?! It was 10.20 and there were 2 customers. It would not have been an inconvenience to do it could understand if it was busy didn't want ice cream for breakfast. Also the place was being cleaned with a song smell of bleach every where. Clean your restaurant when it is closed sprinkles and get rid of your 10am breakfast rule at weekends serve it until 11am like you do in the week!

Overpriced and poor quality....how they can call a sundae 'ferrero rocher" when there is one piece of Ferrero rocher is beyond me! Much better ice cream parlours in Bournemouth. Will not go back.

Very busy but pretty quick service considering. We just all had a scoop each - very generous portions - more than enough for us. In fact my 4 year old left some. The sundaes looked amazing but way too big for us. Pretty impressive, if blingy, interior. There was every every every ice cream flavour imaginable. It was yummy and we would definitely go again.

The 2nd time at Sprinkles in Winton, the 1st was when it opened, that was awful, so busy, rushed & didn't look like they were coping very well. So thought would give it another go, had a waffle that was hard in places like a biscuit, didn't appear to have been cooked fresh, maybe heated back up? Plate was too small for it as well & the ice cream (vanilla) didn't have any taste to it. The Bournemouth Sprinkles is so much better.
