Sprinkles Gelateria & Barista Bar in Leeds

We’ve been to Sprinkles many times since she’s opened her gorgeous new shop, and every time I find a new favourite flavour. Staff are always lovely, and portion sizes are huge! Great value for money and fab flavours to top it off. In a word - Perfect.

Tried to visit on Sunday at 1510 there opening hours say they close at 1600 rude staff member said were closed as soon as I opened door when I asked why I was told I have plans !

Visited late afternoon on a bit of a cold day: had a fabulous pistachio ice cream. Portion size is very generous. Warm place with comfy seating and pleasant, chatty staff.

Called in for a latte and bacon roll. Best in Wetherby. Delicious. Proper rashers of (hot) bacon on a fresh buttered breadcake. Friendly staff. Served breakfast to the table. Comfy chairs. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous experience, love love love the waffles. Really friendly manager can’t do enough for customers works so hard.

This is the second time we have now been to sprinkles and both times have been amazing! We have had a few of their flavours (mint choc chip being my favourites) and loved them all. Today, we also tried one of their stuffed cookies and WOW, we already want to go back tomorrow to get another one!

Sadly disappointing. Very poor serving size. A very small scoop that disappeared in the cone. A two scoop ice cream barely reached the top and the single scoop just looked feeble. I have eaten at many places and always found serving size to be at worst reasonable and at best exceptional in almost all places. Sadly I found neither here. Flavour was good, but overpriced for what WE had. Maybe a bad day, but it left a lasting impression. Not a friendly welcome, Im sure this establishment may progress to be superb, but they need to understand that fair criticism is an expected part of business and to learn from it. I have reviewed many places and rarely felt the need to mark down anyone's business. However, I try hard to be fair and real and feel in this case it was justified. There was no opportunity to air my grievence. It was a passing visit for a takeaway cone, in a shop that we found was unwelcoming and unhelpful. A serving size is just that and we had no reason to think complaining would increase a serving size... After all, staff should be well versed in what to give. There were 3 members of staff that day behind the counter, so any one could have stepped in as all were watching. We were the only customers so not rushed off their feet at that time. However... To summarise.. My issue was with serving size. There are other ice cream cream parlours in Yorkshire, also homemade with local milk and they are longstanding businesses. Always worth a look at competition to see what they do. Certainly reasonable sizes for the price you pay!. I wish Sprinkles good luck and hope they develop as time goes by. As an after thought, our sat nav took us to another ice cream shop in the same town with the same name. Not sure if they have moved?

Absolutely delicious gelato, made fresh daily in the shop, a great central location in Wetherby. Flavours are the best, no artificial essence, made with the fruits, the treats, whatever flavour it's labelled as, she actually uses those ingredients. Authentic, you can tell they are passionate about their product and the service is world class. 10/10 would gelato here again! Looking forward to their expanding range.

This was our first visit but it certainly won’t be our last. The best gelato we’ve ever tasted. Outstanding quality and service. The price was very fair and the ladies who served were very polite and friendly. If your ever in Wetherby then you must try this.

Visited for the first time today. I wasn't going to get an ice cream for myself but after tasting my husbands I had to go back. I've never tasted anything like it! And that's after coming back from holiday and having an ice cream every day for the last week 😀 You must try this place.

It was a rare sunny Saturday and we decided to go for some ice cream. Had heard positive reviews from friends about this place so we’re keen to see if it was as good as we’d heard. I dare say it would have been if they hadn’t been so keen to close up for the afternoon. It wasn’t even 5 and they’re clearly had a run on ice cream as they want a huge choice left There were a few people in the shop who were clearly family and/ or friends of the staff waiting for them to close up. They were far from welcoming. They made us feel uncomfortable and the atmosphere unpleasant. Hardly the customer service that were had hoped for. The service and friendliness of the staff was poor, clearly keen to get us out as quick as possible. It’s a shame that this experience was so bad, but won’t be returning.

We have taken our grandchildren here twice, both about 4pm and found it closed on both occasions. The most recent time was yesterday where a woman and her daughter arrived at the same time and she tells me that this was their third visit and found it closed every time. No opening hours are displayed and it appears that the shop opens only at times to suit the owner. I only gave 1 star as there is no option for zero. This is no way to run a business!
