Lovely pub friendly staff good prices they have stuff on every weekend and put events on for the kids too like fun bus dog friendly

We visited the sportsman in November from ireland.. myself my cousin and our 3 uncles 1 that already lives in kiddie. We spend our hole weekend in this pub litterly bar few hours sleep 🤣 great bar with pool table darts board and jukebox..the locals were very welcoming and good craic and donna the bar lady couldnt have done anymore for us. Weve already planned to come back this year again Thanks guys

Fantastic friendly pub brilliant value for money bar staff are lovely it’s kid friendly and dog friendly (dog treats behind the bar) they put fun days on for kids all the time and have brilliant entertainment regularly 5 stars highly recommend

Great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, nice selection of spirits and beers. Also a nice selection of cold snacks such as pork pies, sausage rolls and cobs all reasonably priced.

Would just like to say a massive to Pete and Donna at the Sportsman Tuesday night my daughter was knocked over by a car and the 1st two people on the scene was them not only did donna help with first aid Pete took control of the scene and calmed everyone down Then as I took my daughter to hospital they took my two boys into the pub and looked after them until there dad could arrive to fetch them at least 30/40 mins later I really could put into words my appreciation to them both Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the both of you

A very friendly pub, child friendly with a good selection of cobs. Staff are always smiling. Will visit again.
