Outstanding service and the food and the service is 2nd to none

Don't waste your time going into this pub for food, they don't even have sandwich's or cobs, they tell you to go across the road to Tesco's for food.

Had a lovely sunday roast before the charity quiz they were hosting, had a great time!

I visit the Bulls Head on a weekly basis for a meeting and always find it warm and hospitable. On the few occasions I've eaten there the food has been excellent and well presented .

One of my favourite pizzas, spicy hot...off menu but if want a topping and they have it, it's no trouble! 😋 Spicey Vegan curry was a new one for me. Very tasty, thank you.

12 of us enjoyed a three course Christmas meal, lots of choices on the menu, all delicious. We all left very happy. The staff were very attentive and the attention to detail was much appreciated. Beautiful table decorations and crackers with jokes just about put the sprig of holly on the top of the pudding! A great evening 😁

What a lovely festive meal! Nothing too much bother, carnivores, vegetarians and vegans all very satisfied!

We had our annual Book Club Christmas dinner last night and had a fabulous time. Food was excellent, service great and a nice friendly atmosphere. I can highly recommend it. Well done to all the staff and thank you Lou and Claire.

Went in for a few drinks the music was blasting and there was plenty of great people in the atmosphere was great they have new bar staff now too and they are all great !!!!!!!!!

Popped in Sunday and last night, friendly staff both times, Shipyard was nice, a nice area for my son out the back is a big bonus. Thanks 🙏

Another beautiful meal today, this pub is a great example of how it should be done. Welcoming staff, great food and a no nonsense approach to bad behaviour. We shall continue to come to the bull as long as they are here.

Lovely family run pub. The food is amazing and the bar staff are very friendly. I have eaten here on a number of occasions and never had a bad meal. I can definitely recommend the home cooked Sunday Roasts, Pizza's and variety of Steak, for anyone that is thinking of eating here.

My family and I have been to the Bull a fair few times throughout this year, landladies and staff are all friendly and approachable providing a warm welcome. We will be back in the new year, great work keep it up

Just visited for lunch for first time since covid with friend … I had a proper lunch Ploughman’s and my friend a surf and turf… plates cleaned totally delicious ..would recommend 100% and service was so friendly …

Fantastic food at a really good price. Stack your own burgers with fries for £10 was great value, the meat was really succulent and my kids said they were the best burgers they had eaten. Bbq chicken pizza was really special and great value also. My hubby had home made chilli con-carne and he loved it. Overall a great find, a place not to be missed for food and drinks. The staff were really friendly and we will definitely go back. Five star review well deserved

Popped down to Bulls Head for a quick drink today, ended up staying most of the afternoon, try the baguettes with chips well worth the money cooked to perfection, great staff always smiling, oh they make a good cuppa also, will be definitely for food again

Warm and friendly welcome. Having travelled to catch up with a friend, went here and not disappointed. Reminds you of what a village pub should and is. Drink selection explained and landlady banter is worth the visit. Would definitely recommend and call in quite a few times.
