Food was amazing today i tried the grilled chk that was very delicious

I love the taste of each and every food they serve here i can't stop my self coming back here again and again....... wow I am loving it

The Food didn't taste good and the food didn't have any taste. The rice was mostly white and didn't even look like biryani. It was mostly burnt from the bottom.Their customer service was bad aswell because we called them to let them know about the food and they were being rude.

I had ordered sweet and sour chicken, chicken manchurian and masala chips, chicken was 10/10 but chips was too sour (Lemony)

Good food good service overall great experience

Ordered what I thought was chilli chicken and crispy chicken, which I presumed was DRY (no mention of sauce) ! The whole food was covered in some sort of bbq vinegar sauce and was vile ! Inedible. Order was via Uber eats and was delivered late with the rider delivering multiple orders before me.

Paid £6 for the donner Nan which literally came with 3 pieces of Donna as per the pic. Rang the shop to complain but the indian lady kept making it out she couldn't hear me. Poor food quality

Excellent restaurant and amazing staff especially the working people. They are so kind and working too good. I totally lovee the place. If you guys want to try superb and amazing food just visit the restaurant.

The food here is usually good, but don’t try anything labeled as hot. They just add loads of chili paste to the dishes, like in the Biryani I had. It almost overwhelmed my intoxicated friend. Hot doesn’t just mean adding chilies to a recipe. I noticed that most of the staff working here are Indian, but they don’t seem to understand what spicy or hot really means. If you’re not used to extreme heat, I highly recommend avoiding anything marked as hot at this restaurant. (Coming from an Indian!)

I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. First, the food took over an hour to arrive, which was frustrating, especially since I noticed they were serving other customers who had ordered four more portions than I did, while I only ordered one. To make matters worse, the front desk lady was rude, which added to the overall negative impression of my visit. Unimpressed. Won’t be buying again.

Warning; prices on their own website/app are higher than in-store so don't use this to order. Base item prices are higher and their is a processing fee on top. Food was fine.

Spicy Wok Express offers a decent halal dining experience. I tried the Full Chicken Grill with Hot flavor; while it was well-cooked, the taste leaned a bit too sour for my liking. However, the Chili Chicken and Spicy Chicken Bowl with Noodles were absolutely spot on—bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. The food quality is commendable overall, but some dishes could use slight improvement. Worth a visit if you're craving bold, spicy flavors! Total costed nearly £24 can be consumed by 3-4 pax

I have alway enjoy the experience from Spicywok, food is great and it seems like the staff are favouring their friends and relatives over other customers. They were served before me even though I was first in queue and waited 40min for my order.

The chicken biryani here is a standout dish. The rice is perfectly cooked, fluffy, and fragrant, infused with aromatic spices.

One of the best biryani in leicester serves authentic chicken biryani in town the portion and quantity is good this the aromas and smell is tempting you resist u eat.

Please arrange card payment machine. Rest food is good

Our first use of Spicy Wok. We had two large boxes delivered, which always impairs things a bit: inevitably. However, taste was great. There was plenty in a large box. Great experience, will definitely use again and explore more of the menu.

First time to order, (ordered through Uber eats) Was a little later arriving than initial time. Food was all really tasty and great portions 1 star deducted only for having to warm the chips as they weren’t hot on arrival and was going to order spring rolls but it says free on orders over £20, but we didn’t get any. Would definitely order from here again

Wasn’t too tidy upon visiting, however the food is always incredible. The staff are usually friendly perhaps I visited on a bad day, as I was simply handed my food and told to pay with a minimum of 2-3 words. The tone seemed a little rude however I understand working in these places can be very stressful so 4 stars seems reasonable. Like i stated, the food is so good every single time, will definitely be coming back soon.

Ordered lollipops, lamb and chicken biryanis with two friends. The service was quick, and everything tasted okay except for the raitha, which was sweet and awful.

Gave me chicken instead of vegetarian after eating some of the food, hair in the chips, staff just don’t care one bit, won’t be coming back.

We went to Leicester day before yesterday, & finally ended up to this shop for Lunch. The food was good, but the sauce in the chicken was little sour taste. Everything else, was good.

The most amazing Chicken Biryani - the best by far in Leicester - super flavours - Freshly made - perfectly cooked . Only one thing the raita (yoghurt salad) was lovely but the quantity too less, a slightly larger box would have been nice. All praises for their Chef .

The spicy wok is a fusion of Chinese and Indian. I found it okay. It's across the road from Tesco express on Charles Street.

I created my own box and had veg rice, veg noodles with chilli chicken and crispy chicken which was really nice. The downside was they didn't accept card only cash.

Ordered 2 Large boxes from UberEATS expecting a big quantity, but what I received can be, at most, be described as a medium. One box had 2 egg fried rice and a chicken option. Gave us a huge quantity of the side but the amount of rice was just very very low, at most only a few tablespoons, for the price paid. It had almost the same amount of rice and the other box which only had 1 rice base. Usually, bases are supposed to be more dominant in a meal than the base. Other than the amount of rice, the food was outstanding. Overall, I would definitely buy again (only wish they gave me more fried rice) since the food is simply outstanding. This is not related to the restaurant but the driver info from Uber was completely wrong.

Ordered via uber eats, 4 different items, spicy chicken, kung pao chicken, egg fried rice and veg fried rice. Received only 1 box. Smallest possible portion size By calling them was informed They put everything in 1 box and the chicken looks same and only can be differentiated by tasting??? Really!! Are you kidding me!! Only one type rice found and honestly i could not differentiate the chicken( also so small portion for the money)?? Utterly disappointed! Suggestion: avoid this restaurant for take away

Very delicious Chinese food I loved it I came every week here.

The food was absolutely disgusting, it tasted out of date, it tasted tasteless, the sauce that they are using tasted off, we ordered 3 different type of boxes and tasted the same, I contacted them and I am speaking to a lady who is not understanding English, however she speaks Hindi, she said the manager not available also you have to sort the refund on the app, I called to let them know the food tasted off, she was adamant that I was lying and I was looking for a refund, this is outrageous as money is not the issue but quality of the food to which I paid for is an issue. Management and service and the food needs and spices needs to be in check as I’m guessing something is definitely out of date.

Today we order large chicken manchurian and chicken 65 as this is my regular order but it wasn't cooked well no taste no vegetables...it was oily but not taste at all. My daughter was kept asking me if i bring it from else where but this is the only halal place know so I only order from here. I am very disappointed. I thought I must inform the management. I wanted to attach picture for your review but couldn't. I also like to request for refund as my daughter didn't enjoy food at all.

Ordered gourmet burger, and received 2 lamb patties in a bun which was overly dried like it was 3 days old. Was very disappointed as I always order the gourmet burger. Also ordered plain rice and chicken for my child and was given spicy saucy chicken and rice and was a complete waste as she didn't eat it. All cost 18.50 and was an absolute rip off. I would give it no stars but that isn't an option so giving a 1 star should be a privilege to the business.

Hands down the best lamb and chicken biryani in town. The spicy wok boxes are amazing as well. But the hidden gem of this restaurant is the chicken lollipop (gravy). Please carry cash cuz they don't accept cards which I feel is the only drawback of the place.

Bit too long waiting time but food tast good

I ordered a Lamb Biriyani through Ubereats. The portion size for the price is fantastic. The taste is also great. I may have missed the part on ubereats about the biryani being on the bone but no big deal for me there. However, as good as the biriyani was, if I may suggest that you give more raita as biryani was full and fantastic but raita was 20ml which barely does anything. For context other restaurants use same container for poppadom chutneys. But keep up the great work. Can't wait to try other items.

I was order £40 food from their shop by uber after 1 hours wait i was trying to call the restaurant and asked my order not arrived the lady said they had my order but other person said they don't have order on my name and they said the delivery person didn't take food from their restaurant i was trying to call delivery person his number was on uber with location he was rejected my call several time .today i lose my 40 pound without getting food .the restaurant service is very cheap. I don't want to order from their restaurant in future

I took Manchurian noodles that is to worst to taste, they may have given yesterday's food. That is not fresh food. If you want fresh food pls avoid this

Ordered on Uber eats I kept it simple with chicken tikka biryani I’ve had it before but this time the flavours and taste and freshness of the food was amazing . And portion was filling enough for one person. Needs more raitha with the biryani but overall really tasty.

Ubereats, food was bland, egg fried rice had no egg, tastes like Indian pilau rice. Chicken has no taste, poor food, go to a proper place for authentic Chinese food.
