Food was 1.5 hours late no apology

Was not happy with the chicken tikka it was not fresh at all put me off rest ov the food not happy customer

I’ve always use spicy bites, the staff are great people they are very helpful and go out there way to deliver my order. They have delivered my order to the hospital a few times, which I really appreciated.

Nice delivery time ... the pizza was nice as well. No issues with it very tasty will order again .. bit disappointed with the doner kebab the nan bread was ok .. salad was good ... chili sauce was ok ... but the doner meat was not good. A lot of bone fragments in it will not order again ..

Food tasted good, but was not hot as we had expected. I did wrote down on the delivery note that we wanted the food delivered hot, but was disappointed as this was not the case. Seems to keep happening a bit to often as you use Just Eat or Uber Eats more often. I think I am done now with ordering food online and rather go order food inside the Take away Shop myself from now on.

Poor doner kebab rubber texture/taste, chicken tikka pizza was ok. Disappointed overall.

Terrible donner kebab, never order again

This place has consistently fed me good pizzas, donners and burgers. They’re a very good local takeaway and when everyone is charging stupid amounts for burgers, spicy bites have charged reasonable prices! A very good takeaway!

Bread was hard and rest of the food was cold

Donner meat was salty Shish meat was chewy both inedible and naan bread was wet and soggy. Mint sauce was indistinguishable as it was so wet and soggy all went in the bin. Only decent thing was the bottle of coke. No wonder it was delivered so quick cos it was just chucked together with no care. Very disappointed as they were recommended to me but will not be ordering again.

Would like a refund the food was terrible, nothing was right the food went into the bin! The little bit my son ate made him I’ll this morning

First time ordering from this place so didn’t know what to expect. I ordered 3 donner burgers (small), 3 special burgers (large), 2 portions of fries, a large vegetarian pizza and a large bottle of coke. Donner burgers has lettuce, mayonnaise and donner meat. A nice burger, pretty difficult to mess up. The special burger had 2 beef patties (frozen burger), donner meat and lettuce/mayonnaise and cheese. Again, not a bad burger, donner and patties were hot, bun was toasted. However not sure if I would go for it again, the beef patties were very artificial and I would’ve preferred more donner. Although the pizza I ordered was a large, it was actually rather small, which was disappointing. Similarly, the bottle of coke was not the usual large 2 litre bottle. Instead, it was the 1.25lite bottle, which isn’t really worth the £3.25 it costs. Overall a decent experience, not outstanding, but not rubbish.

Terrible kebab don’t order from here! Super Fat naan Thick pieces of donner Tandoori chicken that wasn’t cooked in a tandor… tasted like boiled chicken! Not sure what the Shish was as looked like chunky dog food and tasted horrible! Undercooked chips Not the cheapest place you don’t mind paying. If the food is good! Probably the worst kebab I’ve ever had! Won’t be ordering again.., thought we would try somewhere new but it was just terrible!

Food portion is very small for the price

First time ordering from here as I thought I would try somewhere new. 1. Delivery was early so that was good 2. It went downhill from here kebab was cold when it turned up. 3. Pizza was somehow burnt and soggy on the bottom as thought it had been rushed which makes sense due to the delivery time Would have preferred to have it arrive on time and have some care taken. Will not be ordering from here again lesson learnt

Ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and a Tandoori Chicken large ones with 2 Burgers and Fries on New year and the order was a total disgusting, misleading mess: 1-they are vague on the size of there pizza (no metrics). 2-they sent me 2 Tandoori when I called to report the error the Owner or manager tried to tell me I am ignorant and don't know the difference between Pepperoni and chicken, and praising there technique on hiding there Topping AKA Pepperoni under the cheese world first in Pizza making technique. 3- there fries were old refried reheated soggy in oil. 4- the best item in the order was the coke can. thank you Spicy bites for my amazing Ny dinner. Disgusting disrespectful and unprofessional

Went for a biryani on my last visit. Their website menu states that biryanis are "served with vegetable sauce". Mine did not, and they told me that, sorry as they were, they no longer include this as part of the dish. A couple of weeks later and their online menu remains inaccurate. Nowhere else have I ever had a biryani that comes without a veg curry sauce. What they are basically selling is just special fried rice. It was nice enough - as is everything else I've ever had from there - but they need to sort out that menu. Edit: have taken a star off my review as, 3 months later, the online menu remains the same.

Cold food. Probably the worse kebab I ever had. Fried chicken was disgusting. Even the chips they couldn't get right. Absolutely horrible

I ordered for the first time after reading good reviews. The doner was cold and the lamb biryani was lukewarm. The chicken in mini combo was average. The ice creams were placed over the biryani box which made them melt a bit. The sensible thing would be to place them in a separate bag away from hot food. The pizza was nice. Overall, the food was average.

Had the lamb and it was like eating Bear Grylls boots and the driver could not find where to deliver and had to jog down the road to find him.

A bit disappointed, the chicken curry was just oil, I’m still looking for the curry! The chicken wings smelt horrible but the cats loved them! The doner and chicken tikka was okay, I have had better. The desi pizza was okay, don’t think the base was properly cooked though. Shame really as I won’t be ordering again.

The meal box I ordered was missing the wings and strips. Delivery came much earlier than the estimated time, which I was happy with.

Donnar kebab was missing salad. Chicken tikka rice was different from previous experience and didn't taste nice. I won't order again to avoid disappointment.

Went on 7-8-20 and ordered a chicken curry and boiled rice... Got black chicken in swimming in oil with rice pudding???? Horrendous,first time back in ages and so dissatisfied....that is not a curry chef...need to get back on track and give the people what they want,not what you want!!! Sort it out,hating doing this btw!

Cold garlic bread, kebab was average - I ordered a large chips but never received it. Yes It was a late night order (11-11:30) but not an excuse.

Food OK. Chips cold though. 2 phone calls to ask where my food was. Ordered at 5.40 on a Monday and arrived 7.30. Over 45 minutes after arrival time predicted. Almost 2 hours to cook one curry, rice and chips and drive 10 minutes down the road.

Nice food, was still hot when delivered just a little bit late.

Wate of money: -late -seriously burnt lamb - dry chicken - oily / watery curry sauces Shouldn't have bothered. Gutted.

doner kebab was delicious and chips were nice and salty how i like them. Also gave great service. They helped me with jump starting my car from a dead battery when no one else would and i much appreciate that. Thank you. 100% RECCOMEND

Ordered from here many, many times but apparently loyalty means nothing to this establishment. I pre ordered a meal costing over £20 this evening, I was highly disappointed to get a text saying my order had been cancelled 35 mins later. I then had to ring just eat for them to tell me that spicy bites just eat app was offline, that's why it'd been cancelled. I had to wait a further 15mins for my refund. After being refunded I tried again with my order and it finally had been delivered over an hour later. So in total from my first order I waited over 2hrs for delivery....only for my kebab to arrive with the wrong sauce on when I wanted the sauce on the side, I rang the takeaway and was very patronised by the owner saying things like 'The order being cancelled wasn't their problem' 'what's £20?' to which my reply was it was £20 extra in their pocket! And constantly called 'love or mate' a course on professionalism and customer service skills wouldn't go a miss! They refused to replace the kebab unless I paid again but did offer free delivery, however that wasn't much of a bonus after they had continued arguing for a further 9mins on the phone. I'm very very dissapointed as I'd usually have no complaints about the food from here. Two loyal customers not ordering from them again didn't phase them, nor did letting them know I'd be leaving a bad review. I'll leave this review by saying the kebab ended up not being the main issue due to partly being my fault but it was the way I was spoke to and not respected that will urge me not to order from here again after years of being a loyal customer.
