Spicey Basil in City of London, Westminster

Always a fantastic meal at Spicy Basil on the A5 into London town ! Had the Pad Thai this time and it was flavoursome and fresh. Also had a coconut water drink which added a spash of the tropics to the meal

One of the worst customer service I’ve had in any establishment. I’ve been here many times, I never usually write reviews. After making a mistake on the order, I had to drive back half an hour to then be accused of falsifying (after spending £95). It was unbelievable, I was speechless at the exchange. I wasn’t even that upset until she accused me of rewriting the order saying I may have just added it in. It was my wife’s birthday, and soured the whole evening. I can’t believe the sheer disgruntled mess and attitude, I would have let it go if it wasn’t for the attitude and the accusations. I’ve been here many times. This is terrible.

I can’t believe this place only has 4 stars overall, it’s the best food ever, been going for 10+ years it’s never once disappointed. I normally get chicken pad thai but everything is 10/10

We always order take away. What I really like is the fact that the kitchen is visible to everyone, so you have 100% guarantee the food is fresh and the kitchen and cooks are maintaining high standards of hygiene. The food is delicious and we refer at lest 3 times a month It's a cash only restaurant, so make sure you have it ready when you go.

Best Thai I’ve had in ages. Tom yum soup with king prawn zingy hot and fresh. Pad Thai chicken best I’ve had in London. Sit fried vegetables cooked perfectly. Will be coming again when I’m in the area. A*

We do not get tired of Spicy Basil. We go there at least 3 times a month. The chicken and prawn dumplings are so good that we order 1 portion for each. My favourite dish is seafood yellow curry. Pad Thai is excellent as well.

This is not a restaurant for a date or a romantic evening. Spicy Basil is small with tables close together. The food, prepared when ordered, appears at your table with 3 or 4 minutes. It's tasty, comparatively cheap and filling. Enjoy.

This is by far the best Thai food I have had! The restaurant is tiny and there isn't much space for comfort seating, however say that the food is just amazing!!! A must try but be prepared to wait during peak hours!

Found this awesome restaurant and takeaway on the Main Street, great food, quick service and a good price too, they didn't serve alcohol at the time of our visit.

Tienda muy concurrida, agobiante, no cenar en todo! Pedí la tailandés de pad de carne. Gran parte, gran relación calidad-precio a 6 libras. No podría desafiar la carne, parecía en color plateado. Los fideos sin embargo era muy sabroso, buen nivel de especias. No podría terminar mi plato. Puede con coca-cola llegó sin una copa, a sólo un minuto y el resto del grupo tuvimos que volver a conseguir cervezas como el establecimiento no vender alcohol. En general, no está mal para un bocado rápido, demasiado estrecha y 'rápido' Foody para mí, y me dejaron con leve dolor después de la danza del vientre pero el resto del grupo estaban contentos con su comida.

Tomé una comida para llevar picante albahaca, sólo para encontrar dos piezas de pelo! - .- una parecía ser un ojo lash y el otro, un pelo. Ahora ya que me dieron una comida para llevar que molestarte para la molestia de volver a ver el pelo o conseguir un equipo forense, XD.
