We allowed an hour and a half for dinner before the theatre. Service was very very slow. It took a very long time for any food or drinks to arrive and in the end we only got main courses with about 25 minutes left . 2 starters never arrived. . Food feedback was mixed although generally ok - sea bass dish was exceptional.

Nice Restaurant in the heart of the theater district in SoHo. Serving good Thai food. Tom Yom Soup is a large bowl that is full of flavor. Nice use of Lemongrass, plenty of shrimp and mushrooms. I highly recommend the Jungle Curry. If you like spicy, this is for you! Great service too.

This is my third visits and I loved it here. I go out of my way to visit as I am not a local. I love their lunchtime menu at 2 courses for £14.95. But, I went there my favourite Thai dish, pas ladna/rad na. Flat rice noodles stir-fry with gravy. Serve with chicken, beef, pork, prawns and vegetables only. Do ask for drippinng tray with it. The price is very reasonable and has Thai chef so I can vouch its authenticity. There are other Thais place nearly but I go here for my all time fav. I cook this all the times at home but I would still go here for date nights and socialising. Try it for yourself.

It's a family run restaurant and you can tell they do an amazing job as it was packed. Then you can order something to eat and be sure they do know they business. It's a cheap, clean, charming place which offers high quality tasty food. I ordered a 92 (Rad Nah I think it was) and I will tell my grandchildren about its flavour. If alzheimer hits me I will still ask for this dish randomly, it was a delight, it was also huge, there was so much food for that price it felt like stealing. Wonderful experience, best book in advance as we went in and were lucky enough it was early, I guess I spent all my luck on that and will never win the euromillions, but it was worth it.

Well placed near to many theatres. Curious entrance up some stairs past a bar which seems to be part of the restaurant. Pretty standard Anglicised Thai food, quite palatable but unexceptional. The cost was more or less what one would expect to pay at this sort of venue.

Terrible customer service. At 10:50, one of the waiters came to tell us that they were closing in 10 minutes. At 10:51 they brought us the bill and then at 10:52 they started taking the payment. They were basically kicking us out of the restaurant. I removed the service charge (which is optional), for the same and they then came and took the plates away when I was STILL eating. Disgraceful and extremely poor customer service. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Many of their dishes are available with different meats or with vegetables and/or tofu and our waiter was very helpful in giving advice on what would suit the vegetarian amongst us. He was also kind enough to point out when we had ordered enough food and didn't need any more which we appreciated. The food itself was well cooked and very tasty and the price very reasonable. After our second visit to Thai Tho I felt compelled to leave a review. My wife and I are on a mission to try as many Thai restaurants in London as we can, and this is something of a hidden gem for us. The back page of the menu is full of really great dishes that might be hard to find elsewhere. Today we had the Pad Prik Gluea with soft shell crab which was really good. Service is always friendly even though the staff do seem under pressure, and the setting is nice. I would say do not trust the spice ratings on the menu, it seems quite random and not accurate at all. If you struggle to get a seat in a certain over hyped spot a few doors down, this would be my recommendation.

This is a great mid range Thai in the middle of town, which can be so expensive but this felt great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was tasty. I'll be honest with why I visited the restaurant in the first place. I've heard from one of the fellow fans of Net Siraphop Manithikhun [ Thai actor], that this is owned by his father and the food was absolutely delicious. Me being a huge fan of Thai food, got a chance to dine in here the other day with my fiancé. The food was indeed delicious and I got to try Mee Khrob Lad Nah for the first time. My fiancé had the special chicken rice. We ordered drinks and I love Moo ping so ordered it as a take away. I was really happy that they offered more varieties of dishes compared to the other Thai restaurants which I visited till date. But the customer service were not that great. I'm not sure if they were new employees or there were any underlying cause for the poor service. Usually, from my experience, the staff will ask how the food was at some point or ask if everything's okay. I don't think it's a necessary thing but still it will make the customer feel they're not left unattended. I could only have 1/3rd of Mee Khrob Lad Nah as it was a big portion. I wanted to have the rest as a take away. So informed one of the staff, a young man. I had to wait quite some time for him to come around and remind him again that I'm taking the rest home as it was soo yummy I didn't want to waste it. After a while he came with a plastic take away box and gave it to me. Me and my fiancé was looking at the box and looked at each other. It took me few minutes to realize I was supposed to pack it by myself. Okay. Packing it by myself was not the problem. The food was in a big bowl 2/3 full and still pipping hot. How am I supposed to transfer it? The bowl was heavy for me. No body gave a thumbs up that I needed to pack the take away on the table with the almost full restaurant[ which was not that busy when we came in] I mean, which ever restaurants I've visited, if I couldn't finish a dish or didn't manage to eat one of the dishes I ordered, they would always take it to the kitchen, pack it and give it in a carry bag. My fiancé packed it for me when he saw me struggling. That's not it, when I got the take home order Moo ping, the person just gave us the food and carry bag with it. It was hot and how was I supposed to carry it? I asked for a carry bag to the young lady who brought the bill. She said she will get me one and handed it to me. I only found her kind and sweet. Then I noticed one thing, the staff were more attentive towards other customers who were British[ I didn't wanted to say this but I really felt it] and other Asian people who visited the restaurant, and I'm an Indian.

I'm not sure why there's a double listing for this place.Ok, I loved Jane Tira--I mean, loved this place so much that we used it for our informal wedding dinner last year! As locals, we'd been going for years. It was always known for delicious, authentic food; friendly service (though a little slow at peak times); and very reasonable prices (for Soho). The moo ping here? It was to die for. When we visited two weeks ago, we saw some new faces but the decor looked the same--until we saw the menu. Weirdly enough, the branding appears to have been kept intact, and the website is now a bizarre mix of factoids and literal transcription of the menu items. I asked the waitress if Jane Tira was under new management, and she seemed confused; when I asked if this was new ownership, she said yes, but the food (and I quote) "is more better." Reassuring? Not really, as the food had been excellent before.Still, we ordered our 'don't feel like picking' from what we knew had been solid choices in the past, so we'd have an easy comparison. We went for the moo ping and corn cakes to start, then I got tofu pad see euw and my spouse got chicken pad thai. The starters took quite a while, but came nicely presented. Unfortunately, that was as good as it'd get.First sign nothing good was to come: everything was served with lemon wedges. I'm not sure why they couldn't find limes, but big sour Persian lemons are absolutely not the right accompaniment to Thai food (and yes, they were definitely lemons).Corn cakes: claggy, horribly doughy, not enough corn, too thick, not a single hint of kaffir lime leaves--which give the corn cakes their nicely aromatic flavour. Served with tragic bottled sweet sauce rather than the home-made nam chim kai we used to get.Moo ping: cold (!), limp, no grill marks, tough; the dipping sauce tasted like a weird combo of bottled sauce and discordant spices, it should have been nam jim jaew, which had previously been lusciously smoky.Pad thai: okay. uninspiring, with almost too much veg and not enough chicken, which itself was very dry. there didn't appear to be a drop of tamarind in the sauce at all, and certainly no shrimp paste, which made the whole dish taste flat.Pad see euw: I actually had to send this back, which I almost never do, because it was so charred as to be inedible--I'm not talking about 'a few noodles caught at the edges', I'm talking 'all the soy sauce was put into a hot wok and went past caramelisation into actual carbonisation, then more liquids were sloshed on top to loosen it, and all of that became the sauce' levels of nasty. A rookie mistake, and so bitter that it was impossible to swallow. I mentioned this to the server, with my apologies, and he looked a little confused; 'oh, you don't like it?' Look, if I didn't like it, I wouldn't be enough of a jerk to send it back. I said that I suspected the soy sauce had burned and hadn't been added at the right time, or perhaps the chef had been distracted, but he didn't seem overly concerned about the feedback. I asked him to perhaps just bring me tofu pad thai instead. It was as flavourless as the chicken, and the tofu wasn't even crispy. About the only consolation was the amount of toasted peanut, because I couldn't even douse it in lime juice--since I only had a giant wedge of unripe lemon. So run, don't walk, away from this place. Some developer has taken this well-loved Soho staple and turned it into some of the worst attempts at inauthentic Thai we've ever had the misery of eating. At the moment, your best bet is Rosa's a couple streets over, though the moo ping isn't a strong point (the curries, however, are excellent) or, if you want something a touch lighter, Viet Pho at 34 Greek Street, which does a pretty decent pad thai and really, really good Vietnamese food.

Always a fantastic meal at Spicy Basil on the A5 into London town ! Had the Pad Thai this time and it was flavoursome and fresh. Also had a coconut water drink which added a spash of the tropics to the meal
