Este restaurante goza de una ubicación ideal para comer antes de ir al teatro. Está justo al lado de la avenida Shaftesbury y a poca distancia de esos teatros. Buena comida tailandesa bañada con cerveza tailandesa. El servicio era un poco lento cuando fuimos.

Amazing food, best Thai I’ve had by far. Very humble and kind people. Definitely going here again.

Tenía muchas ganas de probar este lugar, pero honestamente, dejó mucho que desear. En primer lugar, es muy caro para lo que obtienes. Apenas nos dieron una cucharadita de salsa de chile con unas 20 galletas saladas, todo por unos $ 8 / £ 6. Eso es ridículo. La limpieza era otro problema. Los alféizares de las ventanas y los alrededores estaban sucios, y la configuración del lugar no era mucho mejor. La estera tejida en la mesa tenía partículas de comida pegadas en ella, que es justo fuera - poner. Los camareros eran muy educados y agradables, pero se olvidaron de parte de nuestra orden. Cuando lo sacaron, el resto de nuestra comida ya se había enfriado. Simplemente no es un gran servicio en general. En cuanto a la comida, estaba bien. No es el mejor tailandés que he probado, pero tampoco el peor. Los platos principales eran una porción decente y tenían buen sabor, pero el Pad Thai apenas tenía pollo, tal vez 2 onzas, en rodajas finas. Pero la peor parte de lejos fue el cargo por servicio automático. Es gracioso porque si no lo hubieran hecho, habríamos dado felizmente una propina de £ 10 — pero ya que lo asumieron y lo hicieron, solo recibieron £ 6 de nosotros en su lugar. Su derecho a una propina, independientemente de la experiencia, es lo que realmente me empujó a escribir esta reseña. Si nos hubieran dejado decidir, habría pensado, oh bueno, ganar algo, perder algo, y seguir adelante. Pero esta tendencia de los restaurantes a agregar automáticamente cargos por servicios debe detenerse. Es una práctica horrible, y francamente, hace que no quiera regresar.

My second time here - absolutely delicious food and really quick service. The restaurant itself is very pretty and in a great location - from the window you can see all the theatres across the road. Definitely recommend coming here!! :)

Cerveza tailandesa y vinos tailandeses están disponibles y todos son buenos. El servicio es muy bueno y el personal atento y servicial. Reserva con anticipación, ya que el restaurante es muy popular y generalmente está lleno. Está subiendo un tramo de escaleras, pero hay pasamanos a ambos lados. A pocos pasos del Piccadilly Circus y cerca de varios teatros.

Excellent restaurant located on the edge of Soho. Food was really tasty in decent sized portions. Service was quick and friendly.

The athmosphere was nice and quiet but the food unfortunately wasn't the best. The soup was spicy despite the menu didn't mention it. The offered sugar to solve it.😅

Informamos al restaurante que estábamos llegando tarde y fueron muy amables al respecto. La comida era generosa y muy sabrosa, tanto mi amigo y yo habríamos preferido un poco más de especias / calor en los platos, sin embargo, en general encantador.

Bad service bad food When I see the menu I know that’s not traditional Thailand food I had order the mixed starter that like Morrison party food but too expensive. And I ordered Tom yam soup that’s like salty soup and not spicy that’s make me confusing am I eating Thailand food? And last order is red curry chicken this taste only sweet not spicy 🥵 I hope they can improve that

The food was beyond exceptional. We were a party of 8 and we all left beautifully satisfied. One member of the party had ample choices on a separate gluten free menu. Another was vegetarian and had a huge range of options. The flavours were incredible. The menu is expansive so have a look beforehand! Next time I come back, I will need to try some other things (but still get at least one portion of dim sum!). The only negative regarding ambiance was that is was really really hot inside - the heating might have been up too high. 100% will return.

Came for my mums birthday and they were super accommodating. Let us sit downstairs when noticing her walking stick and our server John was incredible. He made us feel comfortable and even went to get a slice of cake when he heard it was her birthday. Honestly coming back because of how outstanding John was. Food being decent was a bonus.

Thai Tho never disappoints. The prompt yet unhurried service is perfect for a pre-theatre venue. The food is always excellent. It remains our go-to place in the West End before a show.

Very strange place, so much potential it’s a shame. So much dust on the sides right next to where we were sat as seen in the pictures. Got the duck spring rolls and spicy squid to start, couldn’t taste any duck, there was the smallest piece of it. Very disappointing. Spicy squid was good but not the best I’ve had, Wagamamas is better! Chang mai beer available here. Chicken pad Thai was tasteless and unappetising after seeing all the dust. Big portion though. Service was okay, nothing to rave about. Strange layout of the place, we went upstairs, past the toilets to get to the main restaurant. Wasn’t a good vibe. Won’t be back.

The service was very slow and the staff confused our order when it arrived. The food was greasy and salty. I wouldn’t recommend. Apparently it was good once upon a time, hence our visit.

starters were mediocre but massman curry and pad thai were delicious. Service was sadly lacking waited 10-15 mins sat at table to even receive a menus and it was not busy. the only time staff came was to take our order and deliver food and drinks

Unfortunately, we did not have an opportunity to sample the food. Seated at 6pm and placing our order soon after, it seems that we were pre-empted by a large group that arrived after us. Although they conned us into thinking that our meals would soon arrive, our food never appeared and with show tickets for 730, we cried " uncle" at 705, leaving without our meal. The manager apologized with a lame excuse, "sorry, we got busy". There are SO MANY food options in this area, skip this place!

Considering it’s location Thai Tho doesn't at all feel like a tourist trap. The food is delicious and boasts plenty of pride, and it’s not too costly. The service is friendly, and the amenities are clean. I've been here a few times and it’s always a pleasure.

I love this restaurant. Delicious food and good quick service, perfect for pre-theatre or cinema. I tried the Panang Pla (Battered sea bass served with a mild Panang curry) which was one of the nicest dishes I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful crispy fish and a fabulous curry sauce.

Enjoyed a true authentic Thai dinner, the food was amazingly freshly prepared by the Thai chefs. The menu even offers a special section with Thai specialities; so take your time to make your selection which in turn will become your new favourite dish. The staff is extremely professional (and proud) and the upstairs dining room offers nice views over the buzzing Shaftesbury Avenue. Also a superb location for pre theatre dinner as a discount will be offered for early dining. Who would now that in this tourist area are hidden gems where customers are treated like Thai Royalty!

Another lovely meal at this restaurant. We booked last minute but very glad we did as it was very busy when we arrived. Great location just 5 min walk from the theatre district and tube stations. We will definitely return in the future. Portion sizes and food quality were great. Good cocktail list.

This our favourite restaurant for a pre theatre meal in the Shaftesbury Avenue area. It's a hidden gem. Good food, reasonable prices and prompt yet unhurried service. We keep coming back for more as it is so reliable.

Was a decent place to go for food, good value and good service

The location is great and the food was really good, lots to choose from. I had the crying tiger steak and it was delicious, would recommend this. The service was a little chaotic, the staff seem to be running around constantly looking fraught, felt a bit sorry for them! I must say we didn't wait too long for the food thought, despite other reviews starting they had.

We allowed an hour and a half for dinner before the theatre. Service was very very slow. It took a very long time for any food or drinks to arrive and in the end we only got main courses with about 25 minutes left . 2 starters never arrived. . Food feedback was mixed although generally ok - sea bass dish was exceptional.

Nice Restaurant in the heart of the theater district in SoHo. Serving good Thai food. Tom Yom Soup is a large bowl that is full of flavor. Nice use of Lemongrass, plenty of shrimp and mushrooms. I highly recommend the Jungle Curry. If you like spicy, this is for you! Great service too.

probably top 3 best massaman curries ive had and I eat Thai food once a week. Was sooooo good. Also got the chicken satay which was very good. Definitely coming back. Thai tea was good too

This is my third visits and I loved it here. I go out of my way to visit as I am not a local. I love their lunchtime menu at 2 courses for £14.95. But, I went there my favourite Thai dish, pas ladna/rad na. Flat rice noodles stir-fry with gravy. Serve with chicken, beef, pork, prawns and vegetables only. Do ask for drippinng tray with it. The price is very reasonable and has Thai chef so I can vouch its authenticity. There are other Thais place nearly but I go here for my all time fav. I cook this all the times at home but I would still go here for date nights and socialising. Try it for yourself.

Very good food. Polite waiters. Food arrived quickly. Sliced beef was very tasty. Stairwell and toilets could do with an update. Automatically add-on tip which is over the typical 10% - I guess that’s London - but I would have preferred this to be an option that customers choose. Would I return? Definitely. It was good to find a Thai restaurant that had decent food in the centre of London.

Service was slow but it was obviously busy being a Saturday night. Order was not taken correctly and a main course appeared with the starters. Overall, fairly disappointed given the positive reviews I had read.

It's a family run restaurant and you can tell they do an amazing job as it was packed. Then you can order something to eat and be sure they do know they business. It's a cheap, clean, charming place which offers high quality tasty food. I ordered a 92 (Rad Nah I think it was) and I will tell my grandchildren about its flavour. If alzheimer hits me I will still ask for this dish randomly, it was a delight, it was also huge, there was so much food for that price it felt like stealing. Wonderful experience, best book in advance as we went in and were lucky enough it was early, I guess I spent all my luck on that and will never win the euromillions, but it was worth it.

Our friend booked this restaurant and we loved the food. I had Larb with pork and it was super spicy and delicious. Food definitely was fantastic. Service was super polite but very slow and they got few things wrong hence 3 stars for service

Well placed near to many theatres. Curious entrance up some stairs past a bar which seems to be part of the restaurant. Pretty standard Anglicised Thai food, quite palatable but unexceptional. The cost was more or less what one would expect to pay at this sort of venue.

The food is very delicious, grilled pork neck, grilled pork with sticky rice. So delicious it brings tears to my eyes. Order 10 things and 10 things will be delicious. Confirmed.

Ein richtig guter Thai direkt in Soho, wenn man sich dann in das Restaurant ins 1. OG vorgekämpft hat. Nichts für Personen mit Gehbehinderungen, denn einen Aufzug habe ich jetzt nicht gefunden und das Treppenhaus ist super eng. Dafür ist der Gastraum recht anschaulich gestaltet und wer es bisher noch nicht wusste, der erfährt auf dem großen Bildschirm dass jetzt in Thailand auch Wein angebaut wird. Die Weinkarte ist erstaunlich gut und als Vorspeise eine Tom Yum Prawn geordert, lecker, scharf und in der richtigen Größe, das machte gute Laune und Lust auf mehr. In diesem Fall auf ein Gang Pah Beef welches ebenfalls sehr lecker war und der ganze Nachmittag ging dann mit 39 Pfund nach Hause. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für London.

Really fabulous find in the heart of the west end, quite a lunchtime which was great. Food and service was brilliant, really enjoyable for a catch up with loved ones.

As we booked for 4pm on a Friday it was very quiet, overall the whole experience was great. Service, food quality and cocktails. We shall definitely be returning.

Dining area's big, was seated straightaway, price was reasonable, portions were good, tasty food. Definitely would recommend to try.

Very good Thai restaurant near Chinatown. The welcome and service are impeccable and the dishes are excellent, I found exactly the same flavors as in Thailand when tasting my massaman curry! Prices are correct for London. I would go back without hesitation

Love this place. The food's always terrific. The service is warm and efficient. And it's so handy for so many locations in the West End and Soho.

Terrible customer service. At 10:50, one of the waiters came to tell us that they were closing in 10 minutes. At 10:51 they brought us the bill and then at 10:52 they started taking the payment. They were basically kicking us out of the restaurant. I removed the service charge (which is optional), for the same and they then came and took the plates away when I was STILL eating. Disgraceful and extremely poor customer service. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

Visited this place twice in a week and loved their food so much. Their service is also exceptional. Very polite and helpful staffs who assisted me in picking the food I would like. Try their tempura veggies - it was delicious!

This was our first visit to Thai Tho and we were very impressed. It is upstairs and the restaurant is surprisingly big. I chose it for dinner with friends and one is a vegetarian. Many of their dishes are available with different meats or with vegetables and/or tofu and our waiter was very helpful in giving advice on what would suit the vegetarian amongst us. He was also kind enough to point out when we had ordered enough food and didn't need any more which we appreciated. The food itself was well cooked and very tasty and the price very reasonable. We will definitely be returning.

Hidden away- have to go up some stairs to find it on the first level but can’t recommend enough! A 5 min walk from Oxford street- superb food and such lovely staff. Very prompt service as well. Highly reccomend.

Best Thai food outside Chang Rai, I was asked how spicy I wanted my food, and it was perfect. 'Nit Noy' Excellent Larb Moo, minced spicy pork, on lettuce leaves, delicious. Then Pad See Ew, spelling?

Little gem in the heart of Soho overlooking Theathreland. We have been here a few times and the food is always delicious and the service attentive. Will definitely visit soon again to try more dishes from the varied menu.

Absolutely incredible food! It's nice and quiet and has an incredible view. I'm going back tonight to try more dishes and legitimately cannot wait!

After our second visit to Thai Tho I felt compelled to leave a review. My wife and I are on a mission to try as many Thai restaurants in London as we can, and this is something of a hidden gem for us. The back page of the menu is full of really great dishes that might be hard to find elsewhere. Today we had the Pad Prik Gluea with soft shell crab which was really good. Service is always friendly even though the staff do seem under pressure, and the setting is nice. I would say do not trust the spice ratings on the menu, it seems quite random and not accurate at all. If you struggle to get a seat in a certain over hyped spot a few doors down, this would be my recommendation.

Great location. Staff were friendly and polite. Food was a little bit bland for my taste - the two vegetable dishes we ordered were just vegetables and not much flavour.
