the food was tasteless, just hot. Indian curry doesn't mean chilli powder put mindlessly into food. it is actually a very diverse combination of flavours and textures. Quite disappointed. wil not order ever again

We got a takeaway from here last night and I can honestly say that in the 2yrs of living in this area Spice Merchants was without a doubt our favourite Indian. We ordered at 5.35pm and it arrived at 6.15pm (and that was coming from st neots to Brampton). The spices and flavours were spot on and they gave us free bombay potatoes. Can recommend and we will definitely order from here again.

The food was lovely and delivery was on time. A little disappointed that we didn't receive some complimentary papadoms that most of the other restaurants would throw in some, but other than that its all good!

Delicious and tasty. Not too greasy as they can sometimes be. Only issue is the saag cheese wasn’t very cheesy n would have been better with a cheese that melts like paneer! Garlic nan could have done with more garlic. Would get it again.

The chicken wasn't very tender in the korma and the chapati in the King Prawn Puree was a bit overcooked. However, the biryani was good and the Bhuna sauce was tasty. Naan bread was decent.

Chicken dansak with keema rice Bombay potatoes papadoms with onion salad and mango chutney and a large Diet Coke..so anyway the meal turned up on time the Bombay potatoes wasn’t very hot but the curry and rice was nice the portions are very good aswell,they sent me a ordinary coke instead of Diet Coke which the lovely delivery driver did apologised took it back and within 30 mins she was back with a Diet Coke..

Good food. Rude delivery driver. Asked us to meet her half way down the stairs, we didn’t hear her initially and we were met with “I take that as a no then” I don’t pay a frankly absurd delivery charge to be spoken to like that.

Had better from this place. The chicken pakoras were nice but too greasy. And way too much food colouring added. The main was good as was the chapatti.

Really surprised - reasonably priced and super food!

Took over an hour and half to arrive . The lamb and seekh kebab where very tough. £5 delivery charge and minimum £30 order , very unusual for independent takeaway. I certainly would not recommend or ever be ordering again .

Got here 20 minutes early.. I’m guessing that’s because it was last nights dinner microwaved. Stale poppadoms. Mushy and bland. Shame as the reviews lead me to choose this place over other restaurants.

Starter (Lamb samosa and onion bhaji) and poppadoms were nice. Lamb biriyani had 6 small bits of lamb and the veg curry was the bland. Just disappointed.

Food was delivered into my front porch area. I never received a phone cool or doorbell pressed. Food was nice. Paid almost £3 for a bottle of coke I never received tried calling them never answered. To make things worse my door wasn't closed properly and my dog got out shortly afterwards. I live on a main road. Very dissatisfied with my order only removing 50% of whay I ordered. Won't be returning.

Best Indian takeaway in town! - order from here for a treat. The food always has an authentic fresh taste and the free Bombay potato’s are a great addition. I go for the chicken rogan, pilau rice and keema naan.

Spice Merchant have become our go-to curry take out place. Food is always good (best onion bhajis I’ve tried!), and there’s always enough for a second meal. Delivery is usually on time or a minute or two later than the specified time (which is fine by me as it still saves going out…) and the drivers are always pleasant. I’m a fan of the lamb curry and the wife likes the chicken passanda. These are good options of you don’t like your food too spicy.
