Spice Lounge - Fine Indian Dining, Seafood Grill in Armagh

Had a great sit down meal at Spice while visiting Armagh. Service was great as was the food. Wife had the Butter Chicken and I had the mixed grill. Would both!

This is the best Indian in town . Staff are amazing ! ! Value for money is great. You can buy drink or take your own. Don't put off going here. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Had an excellent evening with family and friends. .food was delicious, staff were very pleasant and informative and owner his usual charming self. Amongst other mains we tried, lamb khalia, which was delicious.

Delicious food; some of the best Chicken Tikka Madras I've ever had, at reasonable prices. The side dishes (chips and pilau rice) were also delicious. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Armagh. Friendly and attentive staff also. :)

I recently dined at Spice Lounge,an Indian restaurant in the heart of Armagh, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The decor was tasteful, with subtle nods to Indian culture, making it both elegant and cozy. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, from classic curries to tandoori specialties. I started with the samosa chaat, which was perfectly spiced and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I tried the butter chicken and the lamb rogan josh, both of which were rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The naan bread was soft and fluffy, and the basmati rice was fragrant and light. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. They also accommodated dietary requests without any hassle.

Positive: Nice place, well-located, quiet and attentive staff. Negative: quality of the food was very disappointing, everything tasted the same, like everywhere... too expensive for what you get. We had been here before and i remembered a bit better.

Best Indian around. We love it here, food is always cooked to the highest standard, so warm and amazing flavours. Cooked to their own recipes. My husband would never eat butter chicken anywhere else but in here he can't get enough of it as authentic flavours and not the standard recipes you get in most places.

Wauw , every two weeks I visit an Indian but this was really one of the best experiences the lamb chops wauw the taste the marinated meat . Everything great . You really have to go here when you are in amargh

Onion bajees have changed not the same as we have had before . Freezing cold as well as the garlic nan and chips . Chicken tikka masala had no cream or taste was purely tomatoes . So disappointed !!

Honestly, I've just had the best Indian food I've ever had anywhere in Ireland. Everything was bang on point.

My partner and I tried spice lounge a few months back and from there on it has been our go to weekend take out. Very pleasant and helpful staff, the food is absolutely beautiful each dish we have tried have been 10/10 our favourite at the moment is chicken tikka masala and the keema nan is absolutely delicious 😋 would highly recommend spice lounge!

First time trying and we where so impressed it was beautiful, the presentation was so nice, a lot of care had been taken with packing and delivering our order, we had a chicken tikka masala and a chicken bhoona they where so tasty! We got free popadoms with sauces and salad which was a lovely surprise, Thankyou so much we will order again soon 🙂

waiting 7mins over time of collect now. They are extremely & i understand that but a bit disappointed there is a 1/4 slice of a cucumber & a 1/ 4 piece / slice of a tomato and a few thin threads of ?lettuce ....I think, stuck in between the meet.. More than enough meat but little to no salad. Greasy on one side of the Nan in favtp dripping off it. I've a picture if Spice Lounge want to view it. So disappointing .

First time to order. Just moved to the area from Scotland. Absolutely delicious meal. Chicken tikka was so tender and full of flavour. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks so much.

As an Indian, I can verify that this is real, top quality, Indian food. I was very impressed. The food wasn’t overloaded and with spices too and was very well balanced with flavour.

Editing my review, since the business got back to me and told me what I actually ordered was meant to be the way it was, probably just not in my preference, so definitely will try again and I respect the business very much.

Fantastic food, best curry I’ve had in a long time and we live near Manchester’s curry mile! Really flavourful. Took a while to arrive but well worth the wait. Friendly and attentive staff too.

We recently had a lovely evening and meal in this restaurant. Well prepared and presented authentic Indian food. Very comfortable environment and pleasant and helpful staff. We spent some time speaking with the proprietor who was very engaging and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

How do l describe perfection at this restaurant? This place is in a class of it's own. We ordered lobster and were presented with "BLUE LOBSTER" Nothing is too much for these guys. The staff gave us Lobster the likes of which we have never tasted anywhere. The unique magic they perform with flavours WOW!!!!!!. The staff looked after my grandchildren needs to the highest of standards nothing was a problem. Give it a try everything is precious here.

What a service and I've been to many of fine dining restaurants and five star hotels,but this service was second to none,and the food ,but more importantly the value. Will be back. Also from a cleaning contracting business to another business your toilets are as eatery's should be, spotless ! Not often this is the case

Had an excellent meal very family oriented restaurant very helpful and attentive owner suggested the butter chicken as I don’t like spicy food which I would recommend highly the owner makes a rose out of the tomato which was a nice touch as the garnish on the side of the dish also tried pakora so nice my husband had prawns for a starter and the vegetable curry which was packed full of flavour best prawns I’ve tried we also had garlic nan really nice went well with the food i cannot recommend the place enough felt very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere will most definitely be back

Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The entire staff worked seamlessly together to create a seamless dining experience. We never had to ask anything twice, I love the vibe of this place! It strikes the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed, making it ideal for any occasion. We are French: passing by Armagh by chance with my wife, what a nice surprise: tasty, tasty and copious dishes, with a sense of service, and all this in a warm setting, in the middle of a charming town. One of our best Indian restaurants.

Update: i went back for the special vindaloo and it is the best I have ever had!!!!! I had an amazing meal at Spice Lounge. I got a vindaloo and they made it especially spicy for me. It was delicious and really spicy. I also stay after and talked with everyone for a while, they are friendly and amazing people! The chef promised me even hotter food next time. They made me feel like family, I highly recommend it.

We had a family night for my son's 18th birthday. I cannot commend the staff enough for the personalised service we received, from assistance with bringing the balloons in at the start to the flaming sambuca at the end. Food was good. Service isnt that great. Senior staff shouting on a junior staff for a small mistake. You will get special treatment if you are local/white.

Alum and his team where fantastic host tonight we had a wonderful meal for the whole family they brought us out a beautiful array of food the lamb shank was the best I’ve ever had and the madras was exceptional we will definitely be back

This has to be the Best restaurant in Northern Ireland by miles if not the whole of the UK I've been to many Indian restaurants in UK and none have ever matched up to the quality and service we received tonight at Spice lounge. Our usual place down the road were fully booked so this was a 1st time visit for us felt so lucky to get a table here. Every dish we ordered were superb. The mushroom rice was amazing. Could sit here all night telling you how great it was. Would highly recommend going here. Just amazing. 11/10 for me.

Attended a meal tonight with my mother for Mother’s Day tomorrow, nicest food I ever ate. Customer service was absolutely exceptional. Portion sizes was amazing, presentation was beautiful and the environment was so clean and well presented. Would 100% recommend and will 100% be back.

All the food was absolutely delicious! I love all the wee chutneys with the poppadoms. I had an issue when ordering a main dish but called the restaurant and it was fixed straight away. Excellent customer service and excellent food. I will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend

Delicious curries, always a treat 5*

Recently visited with a party of 10. The staff were really helpful and friendly and above all else the food was outstanding. We had mixed starters to share (the salt and chilli prawns were my favourite) and some really flavourful main meals including curries, sea bass, prawns etc, all cooked perfectly, a very enjoyable evening, will definitely be back soon.

Love this restaurant! The food is so tasty and fresh and there's a great varied menu. It is such great value for money too. They also allow you to bring your own wine. Try it ...you won't be sorry!

Love this place, but we ordered three starters and there was a serious amount of salt on each one. You could se the salt so we could eat them.

My daughter highly recommends the butter chicken dish she had tonight and I would recommend the chicken methi dish very tasty indeed

Food was lovely . Driver friendly. Presentation of food not great, was a bit squashed in a plastic bag and fairly warm at best. Also 2 items missing but i only ordered them to meet the delivery minimum amount so i didn't mind too much. Requested a refund just. Probably a very busy night but maybe invest in a hot box to keep food hot? As we are all paying full price for delivery then could it not be say 30min max & not 60min especially if its a 5 min drive away or perhaps use one driver for town and another for further afield just an idea 🙂 otherwise good and will order again. No complaints here.

Lack of good photos due to the food being so tasty. Food is amazing here, so fresh and tasty. Starters, We have had lamb tikka and it was amazing so tasty. Tapas was class too so fresh, onion bahgis were fab, prawn puri was definitely a hit. Their salted chilli chicken/prawn was amazing not dry or overcooked like I've had loads of places. Mains, I wished I had went for the lamb shaslick but that's for another visit. We have had chicken korma, king prawn masala, mixed grill, chicken tikka garlic chilli masala, chicken jalfrezi, tamarind King prawn & chicken curry.....all of these dishes were perfect and the meat/fish so tender and fresh. The sauces were like velvet & full of flavour. Amazing food. Their naans are perfect We had garlic, peshawari & keema all so tasty and fresh. Staff are so friendly and attentive, restaurant very clean. If you love Indian food u need to eat at the spice lounge armagh. Also very attentive to children.

Well what to say - we (7 adults) were treated so well and the food was exceptionally good! Look out for the prawn and sea bass combo. Also the jalfrezi was perfect. 100% recommend!

Went to spice lounge last night after a lot of people had recommended it. It certainly didn't disappoint!!! Food was absolutely beautiful. So much flavour and well above your average indian restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Very reasonably priced as well. We will definitely be back!!

This is more than a restaurant - it is an eating experience - the spices, fresh Ingredients and combinations of flavours are so fabulous you just have to visit to experience it. The decor and ambience are really perfect. I will return and I will be sharing this recommendation with friends - keep up this great food and service in Armagh city.

Best Indian in Armagh. Madras had a great level of spice and the kebab was really beyond compare. Unfortunately my wife likes her salad and sauce seperate and despite requesting this in the notes it was all put on the kebab. However I'm sure it was just overlooked and doesn't take away from the overall quality of the food. My wife also says the staff are very friendly in person. I haven't eaten at the restaurant yet but hope to soon.

Had a great experience at this restaurant I had been playing a gig in the Armagh theatre for the Seven hills blues festival and was very hungry after Me and my partner walked about looking for some food after the gig and stumbled across this restaurant They where about to close but when I asked if they could accommodate us the owner was great and kept open especially for us. The food was out of this world Absolutely the best Indian meal we had ever had. So greatful that we will make sure to go back as soon as possible

Got two chicken tikka kebabs, lovely. Reluctantly ordered a portion of chips, due to waist line, but sooo glad as they were the best we had, ever. Home made and perfectly salted. My new go to.
