delivery took one hour to come and my chips are not cooked and wings are tasteless and packaged are not good

This is by far the worst spice hut chain I’ve ever experienced . Their service is terrible. The workers cut my phone call and spoke to me so condescendingly . I ordered 5 dinner boxes and only received 4 , I call to ask for it to be delivered with proof of receipt and they refuse me . I even ask for a refund and they refuse me and cut the call. Absolutely appalling . Not to mention my other ordered were completely rushed and the food was leaking from the bag. Terrible experience . Do not recommend.

Good local place for a quick bite to eat. Decent chilli sauce, phone ahead collect is always a good option.

Always forgets meals whenever we order

The staff were extremely rude and dismissive, refusing to accommodate our request. We went to buy a Naga Doner and specifically asked for it to be made without any tomato sauce or ketchup, as we don’t like our kebabs laced with these. The man refused, explaining that the doner meat had already been mixed with tomato sauce in the container, which we understood. However, we then politely requested that he shave some fresh doner and grill it separately without any sauce or ketchup. He flat-out refused, was dismissive, and ignored me. We even offered to pay a little extra as clearly it was an inconvenience to do a little bit of extra work. To make matters worse, he started speaking to me in his language, which I don’t even understand. Completely unacceptable and rude behavior!

When I called to enquire why the the delivery time had been changed on 4 occasions, he said that the food would be out in 2 minutes. After a further 10 minutes and a total wait of 1 hour 20 minutes the food arrived.

Food was not packaged properly, was spilt all I’ve the bag with sauce. My son is autistic and doesn’t like sauce so he did not eat!!!

This restaurant tends to get quite busy during peak evening hours, but it offers a reasonable amount of seating. I highly recommend trying the doner and naan, as they are excellent choices. Be mindful of the spice levels—if you're not accustomed to very spicy food, it's best to start with mild or medium options.

The chicken fillet burger here is disgusting.

The food is very good 😊 i am only giving 4 stars because I am little disappointed i ask for extra chilli sauce instead of sweet chilli and i order many things they only gave me two chilli sauce 😞😞

We had Dinner from this place last night. We really loved it. The Naga Wings were very tasty and spicy. And the Doner Kebab was very good. Highly recommended.

I ordered naga wings and they had no flavour apart from the chilli. I purchased some in Whitechapel and they were much better with heat and flavour. Would not order these again.

Waited over 20 mins for my food, came home to find food is cold, burger is broken into pieces, looked like a strips burger, chips tasted half cooked. Also bought few other meals where the doner was cold and tasted like it wasn't cooked properly. Even my food was short by 6 wings which I asked for extra. I've eaten in this place before, never had it this bad. I'm just hoping I don't get food poisoning at this rate

Food was excellent and reminded me of spice hut of old (so many spice huts have opened recently with a distinct lack in quality) - i ordered lamb doner with nan, naga wings and quarterpounder chips and drink - all the food was piping hot, fresh and very tasty. Chips were crispy and not stale unlike a lot of other places which deliver. Good job guys

To the person who is stating there are Cockroaches in spice hut. I witnessed the argument between u and the staff. I believe it was because of free daal and how they were not willing to give away free food. You walked away saying you will try close this shop down! It's not nice at all. People's jobs are at stake and that too over free daal.

Recently visited this little gem and found the service, food and prices all exceptional! Highly recommend the trip, considering that they are located away from the main high street they are always busy-and deserve to be!

*UNHYGIENIC* stay away from this place. I visited this shop on the evening of 2nd June and what I witnessed really shocked me. The chubby guy with the beard was making doner kebab and at the same time nibbling on the kebab with his hand and later licked his fingers. He had no gloves on and few minutes later another guy passed him 2 nan breads from the back which he handled without washing his hands. The same person together with another person was then nibbling on the fries again without washing his hands. This is disgraceful and shocking especially when they were preparing food for paying customers. I will not be going back to this filthy place again and would not recommend anyone. If they can do this in front of customers just imagine what they do at the back. I will be contacting LBBD environmental health about this. Customer service is equally bad as they don't even bother to say hi or hello and/or thank you.

I recently visited Pakistani kebab Center “Spicy hut” Wings were not that crispy from out side and nor juicy inside. Portion was good enough. Chicken wraps were another story altogether with no veggies inside and layer was very thick. Grilled wings are not cooked properly. If ur a fan of flavourful, expertly prepared wings and wraps this is not the right place I say !!

Ordered via Uber eats. Previously ordered multiple times and there has been no issue. Ordered- donner kebab ( see image attached- shows it comes with naan and chips and a drink). Had to order a large as when clicking on regular it’s showing as £16.70 Food arrives, cold with no naan, and half a portion of chips mixed in with the kebab. Called to speak to the store and they are telling me I am wrong when the menu is infront of me in black and white

They always make mistakes with your order, if you order 3 times, 1 order will be wrong, they always forget the extra wings that are ordered with some meals. It’s frustrating but they deserve this until they improve. You can see similar reviews saying the same thing again and again.

Doner tasted like a day old however the flavour was there. Chips went cold as the delivery was 15mins late. Burger was just about warm, food would’ve been better if it came on time. Delivery driver did apologise lateness as he had to redownload the just eat app. Overall 4/10 this time hopefully next time better.

Been a regular at this Spice Hut for several years now. Good consistent food and friendly service!

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I ordered meal 11 which they have stated on there menu comes with 1 Sheek kebab 4 chicken tikka Nan fries and drink, as well as an extra drink. I ordered this exact meal once before and they gave everything stated. This time round they didn't give the fries or the drink. I called the up immediately after receiving the food, that i was missing the drink and fries with my order. The person I was speaking to began arguing with me, that it doesn't come with drink and fries. I told him this is what you have on your menu online on Uber eats when I ordered. He goes onto saying " This can't be, this meal is normally more than what you paid for". Why do you have it in your menu online meal 11 for £5 with fries and drink, the don't include that. That's the whole reason I ordered and was expecting to get what was clearly stated, but instead I have a belligerent argumentative abhorrent staff member at Spice hut Green lane. I have ordered from this place on and off for many years, this is tye last rime I will order from this place. Disgusting behaviour from the staff member. FIX YOUR MENU ONLINE ON UBER EATS, DON'T MISGUIDE CUSTOMERS!!!!! Also they have Lamb Doner/ mix Doner Nan Fries and drink for £8.70 with 2 options Regular and large, for regular they have Plus £8 more on top of the £8.70 that is double the price for regular, and for large they have Plus £1.10. You have to select one otherwise you can't place the order. Absolutely Ridiculous

Was a bit disappointed that they got my order wrong and didn't give red sauces. But letting that go because the Donner was nice and fresh. definitely recommend donner and wings from this place.

Normally I order from here and everything is great. Food is fresh and cooked well, but today food was half warm, overcooked and old nor ready. Burgers were all overcooked and burnt. Even the donor was burnt a little. Very disappointing.

Wings are like normal wings not that 'spice hut' distinctive flavour. Chips are so nasty and soggy you can fold and tie a knot. Late nite all nicken are nasty, if you look at the chicken and don't buy they say " 2 mins brother fresh chicken " but they take the old chicken to the back and refry it, They use lowest quality donner but no one realises because its drenched in chilli sauce, if you dont believe me tell them to serve you plain donner but no spicy and see for your self. Yes its true they use finger to scoop in the sauce in the big bottles. And what's the point on giving 3 drops of red sauce in that container, Try few doors down shop called "Chilliz' 10x better, always good quality consistent food. Inside looks updated wheras spice hut looks like 1980s shop been put together with few nails and sellotape. And lastly are any of the workers have regular bath?

Over the years I’ve taken a blind eye to Spicehuts hygiene because ignorance is bliss :) However - when it happens in plain sight (right in front of the customer) that’s inevitably when you draw the line. my most recent visit, the shop was relatively empty and I ordered my meal as usual. The man at the counter decided it’s was a convenient time to refill the sauces (no issue here). As he was topping up the sauce bottles he used his finger as a scooper and forcefully pushed the remainder back into the bottle. And this was happening right at the counter before my order was served.
