After a long day at work, I decided to treat myself to a lamb doner. As I waited, I was delighted to see the chefs preparing everything fresh. During the wait, I struck up a conversation with Amin, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. To cut a long story short, the doner was absolutely delicious. I've been a loyal customer of this fast food company since I was 19, and now, as a father of three, I appreciate their commitment to quality more than ever. Keep up the fantastic work!

Normally quite good but from Romford but Spice but the dhal from chadwell heath was like soup!! Then they wouldn’t send me. Replacement as they didn’t have a driver at 8;50pm on a Friday night, probably because they didn’t want to pay for a free delivery! Really poor

I recently visited Spice Hut in Chadwell Heath for a takeaway meal, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I had previously enjoyed their food at the Gants Hill branch, so I had high hopes for this visit, but it fell short. I ordered the Lamb Doner with Naan and an extra Naan separately, along with a Chicken Doner wrap. The Lamb Doner received a 6 out of 10 from me. Despite specifying that it should be well-cooked, the lamb seemed undercooked and lacked the desired flavor. The Naan was also served cold, which was disappointing. The Chicken Doner wrap fared even worse with a 5 out of 10. It shared the same issue of undercooked meat and didn't taste appealing. In terms of the overall experience, the waiting time was quite long, and there was no parking available. Additionally, there seemed to be issues with maintaining the queue, with others receiving their orders before me, even though I had ordered first. Furthermore, it was disappointing that the staff did not take note of dietary requirements during the order process, and there were no apologies for the extended wait from any staff member. In conclusion, I would recommend that Spice Hut in Chadwell Heath improves the quality of their food and service. Perhaps bringing in a chef from the Gants Hill branch, known for their tasty food, could help elevate the dining experience.

Service is extremely slow on a quiet late afternoon - they didn't follow my request, even though the guy wrote it down - Food that I ordered had zero spice. Possibly too much distraction in the kitchen.

Horrible service. They forgot 3 whole portions of fries from my order. They messed up the drinks too, Sent me the wrong ones. When I called them they said they can’t deliver I need to go to them to pick it up. The whole reason for ordering online is so I don’t have to go to them as I’m not able to. Won’t be ordering from them again as there are plenty of other spice huts in the area.

Rubbish service. They forgot to pack my wings, and when I went back they offered no apology. I asked for fresh chips as mine were cold by the time I went back, but they refused, even as a gesture of good faith.

These are Bangladeshi style fries, very soggy. Not like McDonalds. Poor quality foods, waisted money. They are rude. Food is bad. If you want diarrhoea, please help yourself.

Looks can be deceiving with this place. Inside it's nothing special, just your ordinary chicken shop, but the menu is what makes this place unique. Their chicken wings are nice with a spicy kick, burgers are good too. But I was surprised by their Indian food menu by how good the food was. Usually places that try to be this dynamic have disappointing dishes, but I've had the biriyani dishes a couple of times from here before and they are really nice. There is an Indian takeaway place near my house, but I actually prefer the Spice Hut dishes. Better taste, better price, it's a win, win.

Lamb doner extra hot with Nan bread is the best choice and highly recommended if your a hot lover also the chill sauce is 👌 I have been to all of there branches it all stated from Stepney branch and now they have many. Good luck and keep up with the good works. 😋🌶️👍

The spice was unbearably hot even though it was medium from the lamb Naga order it made me sick I threw half of it away waste of money .

The people seemed nice so I feel bad giving a poor review but this spice hut isn't on par with the rest of the spice hut branches. The naga wings were very small and bland (most places give 1 or 2 more if they're that small in any wings meal). The naga flavour also isn't right, once you've had it in other branches, you know this one isn't good. And the portion of chips was also small really small. We thought we'd give this place another chance, assuming the last few times were a blip but this is the last time unfortunately. The sauces also seem to taste bland and watered down.

Collection around 11.30. The chicken in the burger was.so chewy and hard ...also got wings but I was so put off threw them in the bin after eating some of the burger.

Hate giving bad reviews but was really dissapointed with the place, staff need some major major training. On my vist, the guy forgot ma chips, tried to charge me twice for my meal and also gave me the wrong burger. Gave 2 stars because the guy was smily n my wrong burger was somewhat nice.

Worst customer service waited 45 mins for my order

Shocked!!!!We were with them throughout the lockdown, ordering 2-3 times a week. Always nice and good untill two months ago when everything started to go downhill. Mistakes happens, I know, but for goodness sake the customer service! Shocking!!! Rude, horrible attitude, and "Idon't care approach" . Never, ever will we go back

Ordered Naga chicken meal and wings and chicken meal. Long wait for food, don't take card. Cash only. Go home to eat, and the naga doner is not hot and spicy at all, the chicken is stale along with naan and it is full of red food coloring which stays on hands like henna. The wings are stale and tasteless, the batter soggy, the chicken pieces just as worse with some parts uncooked, see pictures. After eating, straight away the stomach feels iffy, I just hope I don't get diarrhea by morning. Having been big fan of Spice Hut in Stepney and Commercial Road, the franchise has really gone down the drain and this branch is terrible. Will never be going back again.

Shocking food and service. I am a repeat customer but won't be going back there again. Out of the 7 visits over last year they keep messing up the orders. I usually pay a very tidy sum of money for family meals but there's always a problem. They don't keep the food warm when it's a big order. By the time you come home (2min drive) the food is cold and they always miss a few items off the order. Terrible spice hut. I will not go back there again!!

Honestly the worst service ive received in entire chadwell heath, their curries are literally just all water and the prices advertised in their shop are actually most of the times are not the prices if your order is not what they are expecting, they'd charge you for some extra salad even and be absolutely not cooperative at all the dude would argue with you over 10p even, absolutely disgusting in taste and service. Just had to be here again today because the rest of takeaways were closed and id never ever ever come back here again rather sleep with an empty stomach, save your cash and go to kababish just a few shops ahead.

I have orded a chicken Biryani for my lunch but this is the worst biryani I had in my life . chicken was not looks fresh and good and I told them to make hot but don't know they forget or what , also they give me dal that was a full of water and i was struggling to find the dal.for one min i was thinking that i was having a soup without a taste and my god that salad was rubbish that cannot be eaten by any one

First and last visit. Food portions are very small. Staff are not considerate. I will travel a bit further and go to my usual Newbury Park Spice hut.

Yet another one star rating for somewhere in Chadwell Heath - an area of substandard places and services. Staff are rude, food sizes aren’t great for the money and the general atmosphere is bad. Why is this area so bad?

After 3 visits, sadly I have given a below average rating for the following reasons: On two occasions, I experienced excessive wait time with poor organisation of orders and poor communication between staff. They had forgotten about my order twice. On two occasions food preferences were ignored completely regarding the amount of chilli in the food and therefore could not finish it because it was too spicy. I like my food medium spicy but these guys are incapable of making it anything other that blazing hot food. The meat in the biryani was so salty and the rice was not cooked properly. It had to be disposed of. My recommendation if you go there is to get the wings and chips, and if you have a taste for very spicy food then get the doner as well. The guy in the counter is friendly and was apologetic for the wait but 30 min wait time is too much. I've been to other Spice Hut locations and they have made my food to my spice preferences and I've loved it. But this branch seems to be slacking.

I'd give 0 stars because the food was disgusting. Had a Donner Kebaba which tasted like fish?? Theres definite issues there.

Majority of food was on point as usual, love the naga wings and donner. Waiting 40 minutes for food however, is not ideal. I understand its busy, tricky whilst social distancing within store and it being Ramadan. But 4-5 people ordering after me should not be walking out before me. The chips were also hard and cold, having sat there for a while most likely If the food is going to take a while, at least make the chips right at the end so they have some freshness. Eid mubarak in advance.

One of my favourite places to eat. Love the lamb doner and wings, specially the chilli sauce. So glad there is a local spice hut as I used to travel all the way to green lane or ilford. The lamb biriyani and daal is delicious. Everything tastes freshly made. Customer service on point, the staff are really friendly and polite. Definitely recommend people to go there.
