Best place near Barking to eat !

One of the favourite restaurant in our family. Loved their food. Highly recommended.

We love this place and food is fantastic, but customer service is awful. When we order the food lady doesn't mention any options we can choose just said 'choose' :( choose from where ? What are the options, so she just pointed 👉 'there' also no manners at all, no hello, no thank you.. feeling disappointed 😞

Came in and ordered platter for 2 and 2 drinks which came to £27. While we waited for our food we asked if they give complimentary Turkish bread and salad like most Turkish restaurants do. The female staff just nodded her head as if to say it’s coming. 10mins in and still nothing. Once our food arrived I was a bit confused as to why our food was being served in polystyrene containers and plastic pots. I asked for 2 plates and the staff brings me 2 more polystyrene containers, I again asked for plates and they said they don’t do plates. I was really confused as the establishment was a proper restaurant and they’re not cheap in price either. So why they didn’t have ANY crockery. That put us off the whole experience. I mean they have better crockery on a plane or prison. Never going to this place again.

We bought the platter for a family of 4 and were pleasantly surprised. The meat was succulent and full of flavour. The rice, bulgar, salad and chips were done to such a high standard. We would all definitely dine here again.

I ordered from just eat and have to say enjoyed it throughout, will give it another try

Today our family had lunch here almost 35£ order it was cooking worst liver, lamp chops was uncooked I felt as if they have just cooked only for 2 minutes and served not happy

Very tasty food and nice service.

Visited here for Lunch. I had the lamb shish. The portion of lamb was very small and the meat was very chewy, but has a nice flavour. The rice was cold and they put way to much coriander on the rice, but the bread and salad was good. I also had the lamb ribs. The lamb ribs were very fatty but the the portion size was good. The restaurant has a seating area so you eat in, But I find the staff are not that friendly so has not encouraged me to eat in.

Excellent food, value, & hygiene. Customer service needs some work.

One star! I put my order 20 mins and I wait for 20 mins and someone else got their food before us, and when I clocked it, I ask how long for my food and they just putting my order on the grill!!! Disgusting! When I order my food, I’m expecting for my meat to go straight on the grill! I’m waiting for 20 mins and after 20 mins I am waiting for my food , they just put my my food on the grill!! Disgusting service!!!!

It’s really tasty And price so good

Most disgusting place dirty and nasty guy was cleaning table chairs and wooden board where you get your food with one cloth! The cloth was dirty wet from some product he was spraying on the tables and chair if you eat in don’t eat from wooden board

I went to this restaurant for Lunch and requested Lamb and Chicken Shish. I asked on ordering that my rice be heated a bit as I prefer my rice steaming. One wouldn't think this was too much of an ask (extra 2min in a microwave) the food was served with my initial request ignored. I politely asked of a male staff if i could have my rice heated up. He didn't speak much English but understood after brief explanation then spoke to another male who just asked him to ignore me. In over 35years of my life, I have never experienced such, not even a reason why they couldn't grant the request. I quietly managed as I had already paid but will never step my foot into this disrespectful restaurant, not even if offered food for free, very rude!

The worst customer service ever. Not willing to accommodate customer request to have part of the order customized to allergies reasons. Worst experience will never step foot there ever. I don't recommend anyone to go, avoid it at any cost

I can see few reviews talking about the same lad, very rude and akso racist, they lack customer care and respect!! Never again and would not advise anyone to go there!!

Situated in barking opposite Lidl The is always fresh! Cooked to perfection and a big portion. It's very good value for money. Small chicken shish with rice salad bread and sauce is £6.99 There is a inside eating area and the staff are very friendly. We love it here!

Very bad customer service. They don't know how to say thank you/or apologyse. In particular one young slim bearded man (quite low pitched voice). He is very rude and does not care about the customers. A few days ago I went to this restaurant and tried to order a meal. The concerned staf memeber was chating to another friend of his and at the same he was searching for something on his phone. He just ignored my presence for over 5 min, and then finally he took my order . He did not look at me neither apologysed for keeping me waiting. The restarant was quite empty that evening. After making an order I waited patiently for my food for over 25 min. Then finally the concerned boy asked me whether I ordered a small shish kebab, and I said 'yes'. He completely forgot about my order,and I am not surpised because he was multi tasking when taking my order . He did not bother to apologyse for forgetting my order. He just said this can happen. I demanded my money back ,and I told him that I will give a bad review because his customer service skills are appalling. He said he doesn't f.... care. and told me never return to this restayrant because he does not like people like me. I told that he should be ashamed of himself; instead of apologying he is swearing. Then I was forced out of the restaurant. I remember when initially this Kurdish restaurant opened I got so excited and wanted to support this business. I went there few times in the past before this incident. Ofcourse I will never go there again.

I had the worst customer service experience ever !!! I walked in and asked about the the types of kebab they have and there was a young lad in his early 20s standing at the till and he was SO rude he kept laughing at me and wasn’t answering my question I then asked to speak to the manager and he said no his busy ! I said I wanted to order and he kept looking away laughing ! I am appalled at the level of rudeness and sheer lack of respect! I will NEVER recommend going to this place again !

For the price you pay, you can't expect more. Amazing quality food and extremely affordable. For £23.99 we got a platter for 2 which was so generous that we couldn't actually finish. It comes with bread, rice, salad and various sauces including hummus. The taste is great. Not too spicy so perfect for my stomach. The only thing I didn't really like is that they have no waiter service, so you have to order at the till and bring your own food to your table. The toilet is clean. You get free tea from the tea dispenser. Overall a very good experience.

Very tasty grilled food beautifully presented. Very cheap for the quality of the food. Will return here again. For 12 pounds i got 2 skewers of lamb kebab, rice, salad, humus and bread. U cant go wrong to be honest.

The best in barking tbh nice and fresh food

Great value for money. Lovely generous portions. Well seasoned meat. The person that served me was polite. One star taken off as the lamb was left on the grill slightly too long, which meant it wasn’t as tender as I’d like. I’d go there again for lunch.

First time going today normally use the KTK takeaway arcoss the road for the lamb sharwarma. I ordered the large lamb shish which was extra charred on one side of the cubed lamb but still very tender they need to keep an eye on the meats when on the mangal. Love the chilli sauce.

Amazing, amazing and amazing!! If I could give 10 stars I would. The best Persian/Middle Eastern food in east London by far. The price is great especially with the portions on offer. They currently do not offer delivery but that should not put you off. Fantastic tasting food and highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant place!!! This gotta be the best Turkish takeaway in Barking / Ilford area. The portions are huge and top presentation even for take aways. I had chicken wings and lamb kebab and both were amazing!

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today and I've got to say, the food was amazing. I ordered the lamb curry with rice and it was great- perfect spice and the rice was very good. Very generous portions too, there was so much lamb left we had to order more rice to take away home. My husband had the lamb shawarma wrap meal and he was extremely pleased. Overall lovely experience, friendly staff and great prices. I definitely recommend!

I adore their food but the special of the house is the naan in tandoori . The food not too spicy not too sweet just perfect. Thank you for your job well done

It's written Kurdish dish??!! Is it? It doesn't look like they selling Kurdish food, which is one of the best food in this country but more Pakistani food they have. Its not my taste at all, spicy. Before they were much better, they had good and different types of food like, lamb or chicken cozy with lovely sauce okra or beans. Kurdish kebab it doesn't look like Kurdish kebab. More I will say Turkish or whatever. I was their regular customer but no anymore. If they bring back this cozy I will go to shop again. Plus change the staff. More educative, polite and kind and less rough.

Amazing food and great customer service. They were almost closing and we walked in. They let us dine in and prepared the food right away!!! Definitely will be coming back.

Amazing service and really good naan breads! Freshly made food and really good quality Turkish restaurant. Highly recommend!

Food was good. Got a 2 person set meal. Rice was nice (hard to get wrong). Lamb shish was ok but tough. Chicken was tasty. Platter and sauces came with no utensils so hard to serve. The bed of rice was right to the edge so it kept falling off whenever you go to pick something. Lastly service has space for improvement.

Freshly made , very tasty food friendly and welcoming staff, Reasonably priced. A local hidden gem. Would highly recommend.
