Chicken was dry and coating way too thick

Went into the shop for a quick lunch and the gentleman working there was very nice and got my order done quickly. The chicken was freshly cooked and steaming, and the outer coating was quite good too, could have used some more spiciness but it's alright as it is. Fries were also made to order, thin, crunchy but fluffy on the inside. The atmosphere was bit dead, perhaps playing some music in the background would help😅

Visited today evening Around 8:30 pm ordered Spicy chicken Burger meal it’s very disappointing And also staff way of the behaviour was So Rude they are not wearing gloves while preparing the food I strongly recommend do not visit this place

Ordered 2 pizzas yesterday and received quality customer service and the pizza was even better, worth the wait. WE LOVE BOSSMAN

Monsoon grill used to have the best grilled chicken burgers and flavourful wings. Now they have hugely downgraded. Their grilled chicken burgers taste has completely been changed and is super dry and flavourless just like their wings. Their chilli sauce has also been changed to a sauce that now tastes like something you’d put onto a fruit satni. Doesn’t taste good with chicken and chips at all. Used to be my go to place but is now a let down.

They recently started doing Pizzas again, don't be fooled by the prices, they might be cheaper than the alternatives, but tastes way better in my opinion, just happy to get tasty food at a reasonable price

They served me a delicious pizza with short service time. They have amazing customer service, helping me to pick something suitable. They are very affordable and I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you so much Monsoon Grill!

Ordered the spicy chicken burger meal and chicken wrap meal and both were very disappointing. The spicy chicken burger literally had no spice to it at all and was dead. The chips were even deader. The wrap was about 7cm in circumference and was very small. Again chips were dead. Its cash only as well. The water we got with the meal was excellent, refrigerated and fresh.

Stuff is friendly, and food quality is excellent

The prices at this place have increased well over fried chicken inflation! They are the only Asian fried chicken shop around here so beggars can't be choosers when you're hungry. The food all round is generally decent for a pfc - though I'd stick to the chicken chips and kebab. The chilli sauce lacks a little punch or aroma and should really have a special bottle for the Asian customers! Lol and the cash only policy can be abit annoying but luckily they have free ATMs outside.

First time I had tried it had a 1/4 chicken and chips. Nicely cooked and lovely and hot will be back

This place sucks. Got a pizza from them, pricey, lazily made, tasted mid. Dry fries. What a shame. Please free up the shop space for a takeaway that actually sells good food.

The food was delicious, the service was really good too.

First and last time eating here. I asked for a chicken donner and half of the food was chicken fat and skin and the pita was full of oil and fat...the donner was disgusting. I don't recommend this place at all.

This used to be a better place 3 years back. The management changed now and they are awful. Rude customer service. The chicken wings have gone small in this shop and they don't just care about it and when asked they tell we get from supplier. Why can't you change the supplier. They accept only cash these days. Would'nt visit this place as the taste and portion/size has reduced a lot. Just to add the food hygiene rating of this shop is 2 (check in uber eats). So shows how worst they are now. Its not new management and all I see old management around kitchen.

Went in Saturday night just before 8 pm. Staff was outside the door smoking, placed my order and the guy came in and took over, after checking my order he grabbed a burger that was in the food cabinet, open it to and then instructed the kitchen staff to add chilli sauce and give it to me. No gloves, old burger and dirty hands. Told him to give me my money back. You just lost a regular customer.

Use to be better. Now the big guy behind the counter charge u for everything lol even chilli. Get outa here.

Usually quality is good, but chips were hard and wings were under cooked.. doner was burnt so it wasn't cooked, no flavour or sautéed onions, absolutely disgusting. I believe its under new management.

Always have the bbq wings and mixed donee wrap... Never dissapoints

When you're used to tens of PFCS and this is the only one in B.Riverside, of course you're grateful it exists. But Monsoon Grill is very expensive. A shatkora donar is £9,for example, and will give you only 50% of the satisfaction you'd get from one from Spice Hut in TH; and no naan, just a pitta. Think the pricing needs review. Other meals are almost 50% more expensive than what you would pay for in Stepney or Whitechapel. I understand why it would need to be more expensive, basic Economics, but the current pricing seems a lot for the quality. Chilli is fine, customer service is fine, burgers are OK, location is good.

I was lokking for buccekt for family and young boy suggest me to try family bucket which is really outstanding. Customer services great. Food are high quality.

i ordered half chicken and lam donner with rice. tasty food also customer quality so fast and well.

Doner rice box 10/10 had it with chili and garlic sauce on top. Nice and clean place.

Ordered half chicken with fries, to be honest i wasnt to keen on ordering that but it was recomemded by the guy on counter. Im glad i tried this, it was cooked with fried onions and chili sauce, must say the food was amazingly good and will be coming down again soon. Thanks lads keep it up!!!

Although the food might be lovely the service is appalling. Rude and zero customer service they take no care in serving food and i know it’s just a chicken shop but i’m speechless

Best kebab place in thames view/barking. I would 100% recommend the donner burger/donner roll chicken or lamb,, ask for a little bit spicy and thank me later. Last time i went the threw in a little extra bits for me aswel 10/10

horrible shop. i threw up after eating their food. their chicken kebab tastes like fake meat. then they drench it in sauce to hide the real taste. this shop is horrible. their wings was horrible, although ive been to this shop before and their wings wasnt that bad. but yesterdays was just horrible. pls avoid this place if you dont want to feel sick

Good food poor customer service

Awful place, very rude staff and super slow. They don't care if a customer is standing in front of them. They will make you wait and won't make an eye contact. Horrible overall service. Restaurant is always dirty, bins never changed and smells really bad inside. Also its been 2 years since they taking cash only. There is a note on the tills saying cash only even though the card machine is working. Super expensive as they don't have competitors. This review is based on their last 3 years service, not just one bad experience.

Discusting! Made an order via uber eats. Chicken dinner was dried up crispy bits with zero taste like actually no taste at all certainly no herbs spices used. Chips were soggy and cold. The colelsaw had possibly curdled in the heat the sauce on it was sour. Salad was warm and just heaped all together in a burger box was really horrible. They also forgot both drinks.

Not as nice as this used to be when i first tried it many months ago. Could confidently order from this place when i first began trying Monsoon grill and the quality was spot on. After a month or two passed and standards slipped. Ordered a chicken burger meal tonight and a garlic pizza bread 9". The garlic pizza bread dough had a really funny smell to it and was grey. Took one bite and spat it out. The smell because the pizza was in the same bag made its way onto the burger. And at that point didn't feel like taking a chance to eat it. However i tried it, chicken burger was actually hot and cooked properly, chips however were overcooked and soggy. See picture for the greyish dough... never have i seen garlic bread like that

That has to be the worst food i ever had. 45 min late. Stone cold kebab meat was rock hard. Never again. Delivery driver was rude.

First of all this place is definitely not as nice as it use to be, they don’t drain the cooking oil off the chip properly. And also the burger bun gets too soggy and you’ll have to eat it with a knife and fork like I did. Also there new menu is not very good at all.

Gone down hill since original owners have started putting their feet up counting the income. They are simply not bothered anymore and so stingy with quality and sauces. They have also increased prices and changed items to cheaper alternative items. They only get our money when we can't be asked to leave the area to collect. Wait for it..... I watched one take my cash, handle the till then hold someones burger bun without washing hands or using tongs. What else goes on that we can't see?? 2022 January. Things are just as bad as previous hence downgraded from 3 stars to 2 stars now. People move forward over time. This shop takes a step backwards in my opinion. Hope this helps

Always get the tower burger meal, beautiful, especially with their chili sauce!

Normally restaurants, provides disposable plates if we are eating from the restaurant.But these people even for tissue they are like counting and giving. Poor customer service and the chicken was full of ghee, looks like taken out from water. Poor quality and bad experience. I dont even prefer to give one star. In that area no other restaurant ,so people prefer this place.

Their pizza is terrible and quantity of chips is too less. Wings are nice sometimes but at times they are too small. They sent me food in a dirty box once and it was full of grease, complained to them but do they care? Also its cash only for sometime now which is very inconvenient as I don't keep cash on me all the times. Only good thing about them is the staff is good, nothing else really.

Restaurants and takeaways are open based on providing a service and quality food.these guys are open based in making quick money providing terrible food pizza under cooked wings under cooked and drink is warm I won't he making this mistake again ordering from here. Waited an hour for something I had to throw away

I will never ever order from here again, i left special instructions with my order and they ignored all of it , the food was disgusting. All the cheese on my pizza had come off and was left with the doe , my meat was disgusting and the fries was shockingly small portion litreally could count 15 chips , i called the restaurant and they wasnt willing to sort the issue out. Very embarrassing for them , this is the first time ive ever left a review

Not great experience at all, very disappointed with the food and service for a Friday night... I don't order take away too often, so when I do is a complete treat! I was so looking forward to this the whole week... Food was below average, too salty, oily and semi cold!! I will definitely never order from this place again, nor do I recommend this place to anyone!!

My wife ordered some pizzas this evening. I had a bite and had to spit it out. Vile pizzas. Salty, which means the tomato sauce is probably old. Frozen pizzas taste better. One of the worse pizzas I've had.

Is good food over all, but most the time they give preferential fresh cut doner when i buy , if you tell them to give you fresh not from the fridge they says is fresh too😂 also if you ask no spicy they put spicy .is my choice to eat rather no spicy than spicy .

As of 16/04/2021: Good quality food and good portion sizes. Have been going here for years and whilst the food quality has dropped tremendously at certain times it is now a good place to get some quick food.

I order chicken doner kebab with salad, chips and garlic souce, i get only chicken meat and chips, when i call and say about that they say its mistake and we delivery new kebab, but i get same, chicken and chips This place on my black list

Ordered pizza on the phone and I clearly state I dont eat cheese and they say it was fine they can make it without cheese, just for it to be delivered with cheese all over it. Now I wasted £10 as a single Mum that's unfair. You people lie just to make money. Both me and my daughter are disappointed. I'll never order again from you people. I'll make sure I review on all your platforms on how wicked you people are.

2 WHOLE YEARS I've been living here and been a customer. Mistake after mistake, go home and it's so upsetting when u c wrong sauce in ur burgers, pitta bread Instead of chips, salad or no salad e.t.c. chance after chance, no more, NEVER eating there again.

This place is good if you want to have chicken and chips or burgers but don't ever buy a pizza they make a worse pizza.

Considering this is the only shop like this in the area, it's really good. Such a variety and tastes really nice. The portions of somethings like the donner meals could be larger but other than that, it's our go to for takeaway.

I've been a regular for a year now. The staff are friendly. The food is okay and service is quick. This place does get very busy at lunchtime which does sometimes result in orders being mixed up.
