Calamari tasted cooked in very old oil. Steak was a bit bland not great not the worse. Service not the worst but not great either. Long wait for food although not busy. Unprofessional could hear staffs personal conversations loudly with no discretion. Very poorly managed. Less an average food. Don't waste your money

Did not wait long for fish & chips for 2. Unfortunately when it arrived it was a shock. Could not actually see chips that were under the fish because there was barely any chips to see. The mushy peas were a dry lump in the bottom of a tiny silver pot, just fitted on a tea spoon. The fish batter was extremely soggy. All in all it was a very bad meal. Not an enjoyable experience I'm afraid. Did report it to the member of staff who cleared the table

Come here for my daughters 18th family of 14 the food was so nice and so fresh jenny and her team were fantastic. They even gave her a gift for her birthday highly recommended. Good prices and fantastic evening thank you jenny and her team

Staff Service with a smile = zero... Speed of Service= well below average... Food was average, however a member of family group found a hair in their food.. Facilities; Toilet conditions = Appallingly dirty... I will never be returning here 😤😡

The breakfasts are very good and filling. You can apply as much as you want, drink as much coffee as you want. You pay £11 per visit.

There was only one toilet that had a working flush. The water in the bathroom was very slimy as well

I had lunch at Brewers Fayre in Dagenham on 30th Dec,was served by a lovely, lady called I think jenny, she was very helpful and profession and the food was lovely. I will definitely come back to BrewersFayre very soon.

Brought my parents last night so we can try British foods but boy we were so disappointed. We had to wait almost 45mins just for our main meals to arrive. Ordered peppercorn sauce for the steaks but they said it was not available but was not told at the bar when I ordered. Fish and chips also has no tartare sauce when it was served also said they had ran out. So we have to enjoy our dry meals without the sauce. The fish looks like it was just frozen and was fried. It was so soggy. We paid £80 for our meal which is really not worth it. We will never come back again to this place.

What's happened! Terrible service and food is very average. The staff are all over the place! Please take this advice on board. Have a staff member on the bar and the others with a designated areas of the restaurant, also take food orders at the table! Finally' get rid of the blonde older waitress she is just awful and will turn customers away!

Staff are excellent, the whole group had lovely meals and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, and the refillable hot drinks is such an added bonus this time of year. Highly recommend eating here for all.

If you have all the time in the world and nowhere to go, come here! You’re looking at an expected wait of 10-15 minutes just for a drink as one person will be serving without a care in the world. You are also lucky if your food comes with cutlery. This used to be a great pub but over the past year it has got worse and worse, the menu outside needs attention, it does however give a hint of what to expect

First time visit. Ordered off the Festive Menu, good value for 2 courses although some desert portions were small. Extremely long wait for food had to ask when it was expected to be served. After clearing the table of the main meal had another long wait for deserts had to ask again when they were coming. Although we weren't in a hurry we went beyond the 3 hours car park restriction and had to put our reg no. in again. Hopefully no parking ticket will arrive.

Carvery was horrible potatoes are undercooked, meat was dry and gravy was weak. The curry and pizza was nice but woudnt recommend the carvery disgusting. Definitely understaffed. A lady has no clue what she was doing and was waiting 20 minitues just to be seated.

This place is a very good budget dinner option. The Sunday roast is the best value roast dinner on the market. I highly recommend you try it once.

Good food and a very popular place to eat. Good for ladies eating on their own. Did see some cocktail glasses left outside tables, that staff forgot to pick up! (1 star off for service)! Otherwise good service.

Saturday 26th October, 1pm, my wife and i went to Dagenham Brewers Fayre for our 50th Anniversary both ordered the Mixed grill a bottle of red wine and chocolate sundaes which was excellent thank you great service.

Waited 2 hours in a not very busy pub. Food was ok but not much of it. Expensive for a 'chain' pub. Really... Don't bother and get a takeaway instead. Won't be coming back. Need more staff if they can't handle it.

The place is a joke waited 45 minutes for food to come cold and no sauce which was ordered when meal was The kids starters come out after there mains Staff have a attitude issue place needs shutting down paid £70 for food and drink which has no taste and would have had a better service from a drive thru McDonald’s

I am upset that another restaurant I use frequency has put its own radar lock on its disabled toilet, rendering my radar key useless. I will be using this restaurant and its parent companies' other establishments even less if this is the way forward they are going Tonight was also sub-standard. Lukewarm starters and a piece of steak with more fat than meat.

A quiet afternoon mid week but meals were excellent service good with pleasant staff.

I have no idea what the food was like as I didn't have any! Waited patiently, menu in hand, while the barmaid served the people in front of me, very slowly, maybe she was new. Once they left, the barmaid came towards me, then a man walked straight up to her, looked at me with my menu and started talking to her. I thought maybe he was just asking where the loo was, but no, he was ordering food! I thought the barmaid would say something to him but she just chatted away to him and ignored me. I'd had a very long day, hadn't eaten since breakfast and still had a couple more hours of driving ahead of me, so wasn't feeling particularly patient. So I left.

Booked a table for 4pm (Sunday) get seated, order a drink and carvery at the bar pay for it, then go to get carvery only to be told they have run out of meat, absolute shambles

Okay pub. Food can be very good and at a good price especially if one of their meal deals. Love the fact can buy a soft drink or tea and coffee and can get refills included in the cost.

The only let down for this place yesterday was the toilets. 2 would nit lock, 1 was out of order, 1 had no seat leaving on 1 usable toilet.

It wasn't busy so got served quickly. Like the fact that they have unlimited coke and coffee machines. Only downside, ordered the sundae with caramel buttons, only button was the one on top. Had to ask for the missing ones! Would go again.

Came here this afternoon Friday 16/08/24 and complete waste of time. Came before the so called rush hour and manager says he is so rushed and short of staff that he won’t take any food orders. And there was only five tables with people seated. I have been here during lunch time when again there hasn’t been many staff on and they have been able to deal and serve food. I say bring the day time staff to take charge. Never had a problem during the lunch time rush

Not a great experience. The first time my wife, child, and I came at around 11am, we were sat down, and 15 mins after we've ordered we were told that they're doing maintenance/cleaning and that they won't serve food for a couple of hours. I feel like they didn't want to start cooking since the place was empty and it was not worth it for only 3 people. We gave it another shot just over a month later. Place was almost empty, around 11:30, but the only staff working there was nowhere to be seen. We were finally sat down. We were going to get an English Breakfast so went to the bar and ordered. Was told that they stopped serving English Breakfast at like 11. What pub stops serving English Breakfast? I have then seen an offer on the menu in which if you signed up, you were given a code that you could use for 25% discount. Signed up provided name, address, etc etc, but no email received. Ordered from the value menu. Was told that the value menu only applies from like 1 o'clock, which was about 30-40 mins from then. So had to pretty much order the exact same menu but from the full price menu. I have then mentioned that I've received no email even though I've signed up. I was told that I need it. I said I didn't receive it and it isn't my fault. I was told that it was not her fault either. Ordered the food, sat down, and took like 20-30 mins for a burger and gammon steak even though the place was empty. By the time it arrived, it was during the time when the value menu was applicable, but I had to pay full price just before. The "spicy" burger was full of a spicy mayo sauce and couldnt taste anything else. I have then received an email with the code, a day after the experience. It is clearly made so that you pay full price since you're already there, but made to come back for a small discount. Scammy approach. Very disappointing. Never again.

Stopped in today for lunch, staff really friendly and helpful. Good value for money with food and drink. The only thing I would say is that it looks closed from outside, I almost didn't go in as I thought it was closed.

It has gone to pot lately used to be nice and clean/tidy, the place needs a good clean seats are dirty tables are never clean, outside the main door Cigarette ends everywhere not very nice, needs to be addressed.

Rude staff, who don't look happy at all. Big sign when you walk in asking you to wait to be seated. But your just ignored, by those working. You pick a table number then wait in at queue at the bar to get food. But like me if you on your own, how are you meant to keep you table, when it's busy and other sit at you table. Food portions are small.

VISIT DATE: SUN 16/06/2024 VISIT TIME: 13:00 - 14:15 Went to Quequers Corner Brewers Fayre for a meal with my parents for Father's Day, but have been many times in the past as well as it is local to my parents. As it was a Sunday, they had their carvery on for £11.49 per person, but they also offer a full menu for those who don't want the carvary, including vegetarian and kids options. We opted for the carvery. Meat on offer was gammon, turkey and beef. All were very tasty and good size portions given. Veg on offer was carrots, peas, cauliflower, parsnips, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, mashed swede and carrot, another potato dish and there was also macaroni cheese, batter puddings and gravy. I found the veg to be quite cold today and the gravy was very thin, but over all, was still very tasty and great value. We all had tap water to drink, but they have refill soft drinks available, as well as a direction of drinks at the bar. They also offer desserts, which are very nice, but we didn't have anything today. Restaurant is situated next to a Premier Inn, so there is plenty of free parking (you have to input your car registration on a screen inside), as well as being easily accessible via public transport. Inside it's a good size, with lots of tables so they can accommodate large groups and they also have a bar area and pool table for those just wanting a drink. Toilets are situated upstairs, with an accessible toilet at ground level. Cleanliness varies, mainly because of the clientele.

Great hotel stay room clean and fresh but parking horrible I'm disabled and all the disabled bays were filled with workman's white Vans which is wrong sign on wall states to report to reception but was told not there problem

Staff members rude, management refusing to ad little volume on the football match, ambient music louder than the tv on a football game. Disappointed.

I attended brewers fayre last night for a leaving do for a friend/colleague. We were mainly served at the bar by Kerri, she was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was good and served in a good time frame.

DON'T COME HERE!!!!!!!! the food sucks. Anything like croissant, Nutella, jam is good. THE REST NEEDS TO BE REMOVED!!!!!!!!!!!! The potatoes tasted as if they were at least 100 years old. PANCAKES ARE FRIGILE, COLD AND NOT GOOD. Everything good is imported from stores. Not worth the money!! EVEN MY GERMAN FATHER COOKS BETTER!!!! I wouldn't recommend this even to my past math teacher The muffins are dry and have a strange taste. One of the machines leaves an onion taste in the coffee, the other one is ok. The best thing about this building is the local kitten. Please wash your windows. Apple juice tastes like pee. Don't waste your money and go to subaway. lots of love💞💞💞

Often busy. Good service when you eventually get served. Food is reasonably priced and hearty. The lack of big screen TVs is a big bonus regards atmosphere, it's good to be able to have a conversation over a few beers or a meal and not struggle to be heard.

I booked a table in advance for 10 for breakfast. I had a special request which I had advised before my visit. I had a call from the restaurant to let me know how they could accommodate prior to the day which I thought was great communication. It is self service at breakfast but the team were really friendly when clearing the tables, serving at the bar and re filling food. My boyfriend had given the restaurant a birthday cake to bring out for myself and the team were really thoughtful to give me a card and small gift too. Thank you for a lovely experience to the start of my day.

brought friends down from up north 1 of us ended up waiting 35 minutes for a main , so as we all had finished , we were still waiting for 1 main meal, food not seasoned well, black florest crownie ...nothing black forest about it aoart from 2 cherries, cadbury sunday .... 2 inch gap in the glass with nothing in it. Brook was really helpful, and welcoming 💞 just not enough waiting staff to ensure a swift service . food needs reviewing as not up to scratch as it should be.

Yes the food was very good we had the carvery, could have done with a bit more meat though. The service at the bar was very slow worst bit about the meal. Atmosphere was ok people seemed to be having a good time.

Went for lunch today. Quiet full very busy. Only 3 staff, one of those was taking orders and providing drinks, so queued long time. After eating lunch, waited 20 mins, so not bad, waited ages to have plates cleared and another 30 mins for ordered desserts arrived. Won't be going again. Understaffed. Food not that good.

The food was awful Ordered a bacon cheese burger, which came out with no bacon. When this was pointed out their answer was to go off and bring me bacon on a plate. By then the burger was cold, I ansked them to warm it up. They dissappeared with it for a few minutes annd brought it back even colder, and I was not offered a new one. Very disappointing

We visited last night (09-02-2024) Had table booked. Got there soon as walked in another customer told us better going somewhere else his order was messed up. We waited to be seated a girl saw us ignored us so in the end i walked over to her. She just pointed at an empty table and said sit there if you like. No manners or smile. Looked around seems only 3 staff members on and its 7pm on a friday night. Went up too bar to order 1 lad on his own. The girl from earlier just stood at bar sipping her drink took no notice or tried to help lad behind the bar. Man in blue shirt (assuming manager) just walked past ignored people waiting at bar. So left and went somewhere else. So did another couple who was waiting at the bar This place must have a new manager as its never been like this.. the lack of people in resturant at 7pm on friday night should rang alarm bells.

A group of 4 all ordered food which all came cold ,I complained and was given a bowl of chips which were hot but this didn't solve the problem

I took my daughter here for her birthday today the food was not nice coleslaw was off portions was small when we got there the table was filthy we ask for it to be cleaned the girl came with a dirty jay cloth to was the table we was still sticking to it the tables need a good wash with soapy water and a proper cloth we stood at the podium for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to show us to our table in the end we found a table ourselves even though we booked all they kept telling us was they only had 2 staff on for the restaurant the food was poor the service was very poor not a good experience in fact it was a really horrible it spoiled my daughters day don’t waste your money find somewhere else to go this restaurant as gone down hill

This is the 2nd year me and my family have eaten here for Xmas dinner. The staff are lovely, despite being extremely busy we still felt looked after. Hats off to the manager, who despite being abused by a group of drunk diners still kept professional and managed to keep a smile on her face.

Quite a large restaurant / bar, with a good atmosphere. Only thing that let's it down is not having enough staff behind the bar, and can wait over 20 mins to get served!

Ok food at reasonable prices 😀 last visit was a absolute joke. Went with family of 8. We ordered on the same table, on 3 orders directly one after the other at the bar. 3rd order turned up OVER 30mins after the first, who had already finished. Yet other tables that turned up after we had ordered were getting food. Their excuse was they were short on cooks??? So how was the other tables being served food?🤔

Had a breakfast for £9.99 really disappointing as it was lukewarm which is not on as it should be piping hot and vegetarian option had to wait for it to be brought to table so rest of food was nearly cold

Around 2 years ago on 18/09/2021 me and my mum came down here on my 21st birthday and my birthday was ruined all because I wanted a fish and chips which was on Saturday and they were non available so I had to pick something else so I couldn't choose what I wanted so I ended up storming out and you let my mum pay for the still full on pint drink that I never drank and now my mum has ended up paying and wasting money now all thanks to you I still believe I want all the money back!!!! 😠😤😡🤬🖕

Been waiting for over an hour now shocking service

Meal was excellent, unfortunately there was a bunch of drunken idiots shouting and swearing at the pool table,I was there with my wife,she is fairly easy going about this sort of behaviour,but there was lots of mothers with children,all within earshot,I was surprised the manager didn't have a discreet word with them to 'keep it down'...as there was about 10 of them,I wasn't going to risk being beaten up by interfering....I know it's Xmas and they were enjoying themselves,but this was going on all the time we where there (about an hour)....c'mon management, have a word.!!!

Absolutely a joke was harassed by this drunken man all night, and staff still kept giving him drinks!!! And was not only me others as well felt do uncomfortable how the hell have you got a personal licence still!!!!

It was a pleasant experience and we really enjoyed the food. The waitress was very attentive and jolly and interacted well with all our needs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant despite reading some negative reviews. Well done to the staff and chef on such a rainy day! Certainly made all three of us smile...

Come here yesterday for a meal with my family. Ordered at the bar at 215 food didn’t start to come out until we spoke with the manager so around 3pm! When I had to go get a refund for a mix up the manager didn’t have a clue what he was doing. When I asked how long the food should take from ordering he said around 20 mins but we was waiting 45. To be told we should have booked a table not just walked in. I’ve been going to the same place for many years and have only just recently seen the change in how long everything takes. The manager said it’s because they aren’t allowed the staff, but I’ve been to other branches and have been served faster on a walk in booking. We was made to feel uncomfortable from the manager as we didn’t book in, and when he done the refund we had to leave it with him for ages as he couldn’t work out £8 something. I literally had to read him the receipt 😏 bring back the lady that used to be there she was amazing!
