Spice Guru in Lewisham

I have ordered the same thing in the past and felt those were cooked so well the nice time, I would go for the same things again. I think what I got this time round was very much not to the standard I was expecting. This time round, I must admit I was very disappointed.

Lovely food delivered hot. Reasonable prices can't wait for next week!

I've ordered from here for years but was very disappointed. My food was late My Chapati was very overcooked My Lamb tikka was undercooked, chewy and not nice and had a different smell to it The Chicken Korma was very watery The only things that was nice was the meat samosa and the salad

Best Indian takeaway in SE London. Varied menu. Fast delivery. You can even pay by card over the phone. Delivery men are always courteous. I have even used them for catering in a takeaway capacity. 4stars because it's home delivery and not restaurant dining.

Food is very good as last time .

Really good food but I did gave to wait what I felt was an awfully long time. No complaints about food or service once food arrived, just the time it took.

A lucky find! I normally order from my local curry house but saw that Spice Guru had 25% off, so I thought why not give them a try. I'm extremely glad I did the food was incredible, much better than what I usually get. Even the bag it was delivered in was nice (it's the little things) and came with wet wipes which is thoughtful. Can't wait to order from here again!

Food took an hour to arrive and was cold so had to reheat. In regards to taste, nothing special at all. A forgettable meal. Wouldn't recommend

I left a message on my order to call me if it was going to be later than an hour as I would come and collect- no call and I notice after 10 minutes late they have added 20 minutes to my order with no call. I then called he wasn't sorry but excused and just said it's because they are busy No excuse for a paying customer! It arrived COLD with no apology. The squid was so overlooked and tough and the batter was soggy The prawns were tough, the lentil sauce watery Terrible!!! So dissapointed as great website with gluten free affordable options and good description False advertising and rude staff

i love the food here but the last few times i've been let down by the quality of the lamb in the curry. There are too many chewy fatty pieces. slow cook it longer or use leaner meat please or i will have to start looking elsewhere if it continues. Thanks!

Food was generally good, plenty of meat in the curry dishes. Chicken tikka was under seasoned and sauces lacked depth of flavour. The first order was missing items although they were replaced quickly

This is our favourite curry take away, the food always tastes amazing and the order comes quickly.

Was not very impressed with our first order, naan not cooked, mint sauce did not taste very nice, stuffed paratha although restaurant made it without it being on menu it did not taste as I would expect.

Usually love here but this time the tandoori lamb lacked seasoning and flavour. Will still order from here but maybe avoid this and stick to the curries

I tried this place for the first time and it was a real let down.The lamb dish I ordered lacked flavour and spice, the parathas were dry and tasted too floury and the king prawn korma hardly had any prawns in it. I also had requested some sour lime chutney which I didn't even receive considering I spent near £25 I didn't even get any poppadoms. Not worth the money at all and a real disappointment. I will stick to my regular Indian in future.

Delicious! Was a bit later than I thought but still pretty good time. . Because we spent quite a bit some free poppadoms or something similar wouldn't have gone amiss- we've had this with several other takeaway services. Top notch food though and good value :)

Food was a bit cold and they forgot the naan bread

Tasty but some of our lamb was very fatty, which slightly dampened the meal. Otherwise good food, would order again.

Ordered to be delivered at 10.40 and arrived 20 mins early so wasn't in the house. They redleivered but it was very hard to get hold of them to rearrange.

The service itself is great... Complimentary chocolate and a everything. The only really good thing was the goat cheese samosa. Otherwise the food could do with upping it's game just a touch.

Really disappointed. Ordered the meal for one. Popadom soggy, no sauces included, naan overdone, potatoes and chicken tikka masala really quite unpleasant. Really disappointed with taste ,quality and poor value for money.

Food is average at best. Delivery took nearly 3 hours, no apology, and after phoning to see where the food was several times I just got attitude. Don't get a take away from here you will be disappointed

The food arrived 20 minutes earlier than estimated and was absolutely delicious! They even supplied hand towels and little chocolates - for the full Indian restaurant experience! - as well as adding a little complimentary taster for a different curry. Without a doubt the best Indian I've had in this area, and possibly from any takeaway place in London.

I hoped the food would be good but I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first mouthful. The food was lovely and I would certainly order again when friends come over as I think they'd love it too.

It was our first time ordering from here and the food was really great and packaged well. We had to call as the order was 30 mins late (1hr 30 in total) and the guy at the other end was abrupt and didn't offer an apology only 'IT'S COMING.' Despite this we would probably give it another go as the food was really good and piping hot.

First time I ordered from here and definitely will again! The food arrived right on time, and it was all hot, never had/heard of some of the foods so thought I'd try something new. The goats cheese samosa was amazing, and oozy and scrumptious. I'm not a fan of okra, but after having the bhindi churi churi, I really liked that and won't dismiss the okra so quickly next time! The butter chicken was slightly too sweet got me, but that could just be me, and the special biryani was great too! All in all, very good meal! Thank you!:)

Very quickly arrived. Cheese Somoza and Bombay squid excellent. Paneer shashlick really nicely done. Tandoori chicken somewhat dry. Overall though excellent

Absolutely in love with this place. Food is outstanding, delivery is efficient and the service is excellent. The little touches make this place that extra little bit awesome too - warm lemon wipes, chocolate and I had a complimentary side added too, which was gorgeous and unexpected. Best takeaway curry I've had in SE23 for a long time. Nice touches too like free chocolates and a veggie side dish taster. Our new regular...

The behind I dish was burnt and inedible, lucky there was such a miniscule portion really. I rang to complain, they did send a new unburnt one but the driver tried to spin some tail about it being a speciality dish with a marmite effect. If that's the case why was the new one completely different? Own a mistake.

These guys are best in delivery package. Better than other Indian restaurants. Food is spicy if you request it. Freshly cooked. Have ordered 5 times continuously so far. Very much recommended for hygiene food.

Chickpeas were undercooked, curry was too oily, peshwari naan wasn't very tasty. Apart from that it was great. Loved the hand wipes

I ordered the meal for one and it was enormous! Good value but probably better for two people to share.

Every item was super tasty, chicken korma, prawn bhuna, poppadoms, garlic naan. We particularly liked the selection of 4 pickle/dips. Complimentary side, chocolates and hand wipes were a really nice touch. We'll be ordering again! Thank you

Every box was labelled, we got a little complementary portion, some chocolate and some fragranced wipes . Food quality was really really good and it was all well presented .Really loved the naan! Good portion for the price paid.

Fantastic flavour and they give a lot of meat in the meals. Too many Indians only give 5 or 6 small bits and a lot of sauce. This place is the perfect mix of quantity and quality.

Wrong items delivered. Mixed grill was absolutely horrible and Id like a refund. Complete waste of money.

Hello there, good food, good timing. However I paid extra (4 quid) for poppadoms and sauces and never got the poppadoms so no point in having the sauces. I'd appreciate some money back or 10 quid voucher towards my next order... Thanks

Very quick delivery. 2 added chocolates for a valentines treat which was a nice touch. Ordered and paid for 2 popadoms though which were missing.
