McDonald's in Lewisham

I used the drive-through, but after placing my order there was no one at the payment booth. After waiting for ages I assumed I needed to move onto the next booth(order collection) and pay there, but no - I had to walk back to the first booth that finally had someone serving there. Not a great experience.

Worst macdonalds ever been in. 6 customers 1 car on drive through... 20 mins for a breakfast wrap meal that's cold. 2nd time I've been here, remember why I said I wouldn't ever come back. Rubbish. Staff don't communicate, the separation of cultural groups in the kitchen is obvious to see and quite disgusting considering we're in The 20th century... Avoid! Tey the burger place in Sainsbury's next door, better in every way.

The service was too SLOW!!! It was like we came in first, and 10 persons order has come before us. And when they are preparing our order, they stop to prepare it to accomodate the online order when our order is just in front of us. VERY POOR SERVICE! TOO SLOW!!!!!!!!

Had to wait for so long to get our order. The kitchen is absolute chaos. Needs to be better run.

Great customer service from Joe above and beyond such customer service skills needs to be recognised and I do hope they pass this on, very patient and jolly and had a smile constantly as my app wasn't working and he was outstanding thank you again Joe.

The service can be 50/50 here. There’s fast staff turn around so it depends if there good management then it runs smoothly. For the past 6 month so far no incidents or complaint but had bad experience. Ableism in the past with this location

Never normally review McDonald’s, but the lads in here actually cook like they care, big girl on the till could do with cheering up.

I normally wouldnt leave a review for a fast food chain as I expect it to be sub par, but this was absolutely the worst burger I've ever had from MDs... Dry, chewy, burnt patties. I don't even think they used the right patties for a 1/4lb.... Wish I'd taken it back, but I was so hungry it had to do. The ketchup was ok

Every time you use the drive through stuffs missing from the order. How hard is it to read the order off the screen and make sure the right items go in the bag. Useless.

Don’t go here after 3pm, or you’ll find the food is not up to the normal standard and staff are rushing, which will impact the outcome of your order. Atmosphere 1 star as full of deliveroo drivers picking up. Had to return triple cheeseburger twice as even the bun was dripping with oil, made me feel nauseous after eating blurghgghgghggh yak

Ordered Date: 12.01.2025 - 10:19 AM I ordered from the McDonald's app for home delivery, but one main item was missing. The food quality was also disappointing; the hash browns were too oily and not suitable for kids. I have tried many times to contact the restaurant but have been unable to reach them. I hope this review helps others choose the right restaurant.

The worst McDonalds I've ever been to. They consistently mess up orders, it's 50/50 whether they will miss an item, and orders are often cold. Tonight I ordered 2 BBQ Ranch Stack meals and they only gave me one burger, didn't notice until I got home, so dinner was ruined. They are always messing up and the staff are often rude. They really need to re-train the staff here. Last time I ordered McDelivery and half the order was missing that time too. Have sworn never to visit this chain ever again. Complete joke.

THE worst McDonalds I have ever had. Been about 5 times over the years and there will always be at least one item that’s cold and inedible. They don’t give a damn either. It’s always busy somehow. The last time I went was because I was waiting nearby and just wanted a quick meal, every oart of my Big Mac meal was cold. I threw it away.

McDonalds burgers are consistent. Using the app speeds up the drive ghrough process. I was sat behind some idiot who was gathering the order to be placed while ordering rather than doing it while the previous cars were ahead. The staff patiently took the much changing orders and repeated it back patiently at the end to make sure it was right.

How do you get a large Coke and large pineapple mango smoothie mixed up with a large and medium oasis….. can you guys read? Those are VERY different things

This is probably the worst one I've been to. It's definitely not fast, the food tastes like crap and they frequently mess up the orders. The only good thing about this place is the clean toilets.

Always busy 9 times out of 10. You always have to wait at least 10 mins to get your food. So you start to lose the fast out of fast food.

I don’t know what was going on the day that I decided to pull in for a quick lunch break. Restaurant was filled to the brim with angry customers who had been waiting in excess of 25 mins before I placed my order. I tried to cancel and get a refund because I literally didn’t have time to wait around that long. Could not for the love of money get the attention of a single member of staff from behind the counter. I called out but no one so much as looked over at me. A couple of staff members came over after a good while and then disappeared out of sight and never returned. All in all, I waited 35 minutes sweating with anxiety only to receive barely lukewarm fries, a dehydrated stone cold burger with sad limp lettuce and little else. I went in for lunch and left seething with anger at being held at their mercy for all that time only to be given an inedible meal and not able to get the attention of a staff member to put it right, quickly. I went into the app to try send in the complaint through that but nope. It’s absolutely impossible to complain in the app about the order I’d placed through the app… Come on McDonald’s, get with the programme! You’ve increased your prices, lowered the food quality and quantity and you offer very unhappy, stressed out service via your unhappy staff. Shameful. One more thing. The “£5 meal deal” you’ve started doing is LITERALLY EXACTLY the same as a Happy meal in terms of what we get portion and options wise. Did you really think customers wouldn’t notice your little scam? Last point - £1.49 for 5 TINY little hash-browns?! That’s just shy of 30p per titsy little piece! Pfffffft! It’s like The Hamburglar has gone rogue and started to rip off patrons!

Ts was ass bro I waited 20 minutes for my food and the chips tasted like they were in agony the nuggets taste like the batter is 50 years old and had a bitter taste which almost threw up. yes I will come back cause I'm a foodie but bro upgrade ur game also why did you lock the toilets geez almost made me piss myself.

I don't think they cope very well with the drive thru orders. Sometimes you have to park up and wait for ages for your food to come. Sometimes the car park is full of people waiting. Sometimes they get the order wrong and you have to get out the car and tell them. The only reason why we keep going back is because it's on our way home and sometimes you just don't wanna cook dinner!

The food was hot,however the packaging was awful my chips were scattered everywhere and the burger ingredients was all over the bag.I am very disappointed as a regular customer

The smell from the toilets was the worst stench I have ever smelt, they were a disgusting mess, we never stopped to eat as the place was filthy.

The food is good but the restaurant on this day was dirty and toilets smelled. The tablets that they put out for children are all not working as are the charging stations. You also have to wait a long time to get your food.

This branch are trying to do too much. They cannot cope with the queues, the drive through and the online orders. The result is poor quality food that is inevitably cold and long queues of very disgruntled customers. With so many McDonald's everywhere, avoid this one like the plague!

I'm just writing this review for an idiot that put cheese instead of mayo on a MAYO chicken. I just wanted to tell him to stop with drugs and get help now before it's too late.

Staff member on the floor walking around complaint, slamming doors muttering her frustration under her breath, even had a go at a customer for getting her own napkin!! ( There were none in the holders), waited 8 minutes for my meal, no straw given, deliver drivers clogging up the desk, nobody on the counter, no receipt paper in the self service ... At least my burger was nice!

If I could give negative stars I would. The fries were stale and room temperature and tasted like cardboard. If you come here turn away… go Catford McDonald’s drive thru (Catford is 24hr + fries are ALWAYS FRESH & HOT! )

If I could give negative stars I would, the horrid manager who had no name badge gve me excuses for my 30 minute wait, was argumentative and proceeded to tell me if I didn't like it don't come back. I got a refund and left. What a complete waste of my time, will never return here!

This place has improved a lot. Previously, service was very poor, but my recent experience was very positive. Be sure to feed the sparrows when you next go there, they will sit on your car waiting for food!

I have ordered a few times from there and very often we had something missing. Tonight was the worse. I live less than 10mns away on a motorcycle from McDonalds. I ordered dinner for my two children as a treat, my delivery arrived over 1h20 late with two items missing. It was horrendous. My kids were upset and hungry. The bag was not sealed properly and the wrong receipt was on it. I called Uber who said they will refund me - it will take at least 15 days and if I don't get my money to call McDonald's. It is a joke. No sympathy or compensation for the time we waited, etc...Uber of course was blaming McDonald's and I do have to say the the one in Bell Green is not great at all.

The "free wifi" mentioned on the sign by the counter is password protected but it's near impossible to get the attention of any staff. Apparently their blender "doesn't work properly" yet they still serve blended drinks full of huge ice chunks making it impossible to drink and they won't give a refund for. I observed a member of staff using the same cloth to wipe the bin and then the tables. Service is incredibly slowwwww.

Appalling. Used the app for collection point delivery. 20 mins later no sign of it. Had to leave my dog in the car to go to complain. Ridiculous service. Still don’t know where my original order went to.

I suggest you hire competent staff. 2 weeks in a row, I have ordered McDonald's via UberEats, both weeks we have had bits of our order missing! We only ordered two meals! Whoever was packing breakfast for uber eats on 03/08/24 at around 7.15am - sack them! It really shouldn't be so hard to read what a customer has paid for. I'm not surprised by the other reviews - who is managing this place? A disgrace.

Staff were very busy at time I arrived, service and quality of food, not as good as previously received. Visited again for a quick bite to eat, no real improvement, waited in Drivethru for just over 20mins for a BigMac, don't think I will be coming back here for a while!

For my last two orders, I've been getting less beef patties in the burgers than what's stated (i.e., triple cheese burger = double; double quarter pounder = single). Customer service has been acceptable though drive through staff seem miserable. The management needs to treat these staff better Only saving grace is that the food quality (especially burgers) is great compared to other mcds.

Then my kid gets locked in the flippin toilets because of their code/ button exit system!!! Globalisation at its worst!!!

Really good McDonald’s’s branch. Food is usually swift and customer service is quite decent. Also the food is really good most of the time with it being hot and not cold. Quality is usually decent as well and I really have no complaints. Store has lots of places to sit including outside where there are multiple benches. There is also a drive-thru so if you have a car and want to grab some food, you can very easily do so. The only qualm I have is with the birds outside that are very intelligent and will try to take some of your food if you aren’t careful. So be very wary if you choose to feed some of the birds, especially the small baby birds (since they don’t take the hint after to try to shoo them away or give them food) and the crows (they are smart and will wait for an opportune moment to take you food or go into the bin and take food that they’ve seen you hold). Personally, I would give this store a 9 out of 10.

Absolutely terrible. I completely understand and respect the time constraints they must be facing but it is the ONLY McDonalds I’ve ever been to that makes all who drive through park up and wait a minimum of 15-20 minutes before receiving their food. On top of this (+ having two screaming little ones excited to have a happy meal) we get the complete wrong order, they take it back and hand us back a smashed up box with cold chips and what looks like parts thrown into the box. Unfortunately my kids were not patient enough to wait. I am someone who would usually avoid leaving any form of negative reviews but for the sake of us mummies/daddies and carers - I’d say just go get a sandwich from Sainsbury’s. Shout out to the poor boys handing out these orders and being the face of such terrible service, they were apologetic and made us feel somewhat better
