Just my opinion but the sauce was too runny.

We eat here almost every other week always delicious food but lately my sauce has been so watery 😒 very disappointing

Quick service with very friendly staff. Food is also delicious. They have a great deal on a Tuesday.

Original review was 5 star 3 years ago, unfortunately we've eaten twice here this year and both the service and quality has taken a nosedive. Starters today were dry, vurry was unpleasantly sweet and naan under cooked. "Good quality food everytime. We never buy a curry anywhere else. This is a little gem of a restaurant and I highly recommend trying them. The only downside is no delivery service"

Been using Spice Dunes since it opened and still travel from Bristol most weeks as it is that good. Even for a takeaway and there level of spice is the best I have had in the country trust me and I know my curry’s. Great food amazing staff 👍

Had a table for six here for a work outing and was very impressed by the food. Tried several of the curries and they were all very distinct and flavourful without being overly spicy. The naan breads were huge. It did get busy (especially for a Monday!), so I'd recommend booking in advance. All in all somewhere I would definitely recommend.

Have only had take away from here but always great food never disappoints

The worst experience I have ever had and still in absolute shock. Came to the restaurant with my partner and friend and was insulted for ordering an alcoholic drink, which made me very uncomfortable. They went outside to look at my the car that we arrived in which is an SVR and then came back in and proceeded to say he drives a car that someone who does criminal activity would drive which was highly insulting and embarrassing. He made me feel very uncomfortable and made some suggestive comments. The toilets were disgusting I would avoid this place and would recommend to anyone.

Went for a restaurant meal after having plenty of takeaways. Food was, as expected, gorgeous and the waiting staff attentive yet unobtrusive. Good range of food options. Didn't check for v or gf options. Limited range of alcohol but enough for wife and I to have what we wanted. Alcohol free available. Overall a wonderful evening with pleasant modern Asian music playing in the background. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Some food was cold but when told they were happy to exchange for hot.

What I really want to express is the quality of the box that our food was packaged in. VERY GOOD CARDBOARD. I was never in doubt that our food would make it home safe. Unfortunately the atmosphere in our home was poor as my wife was very angry with me.

Really great food but be aware it is now unlicensed and you can’t take alcohol to the premises either, which is a real shame. Great apart from that

Can’t fault their service! We pre-ordered a 27-person order for our Christmas football night a few days before and when we arrived to collect it was ready straight away, packed in boxes and the kind gentlemen helped us with the boxes to the car. One curry was (easily) forgotten and we phoned and they delivered it straight away to us. All of the curries were delicious also. Can’t thank and recommend them enough

Used to be great - gone downhill. Tandoori mixed grill rock hard pieces of unidentifiable meat, couldn’t eat it. Naan bread mostly dough, also inedible. Spicy poppadom, served in its own paper bag, had not been cooked; just a dry wafer that stuck to teeth and gums. Madras sauce = brown water. Wife said her vegetable biryani was nice.

Absolutely brilliant service, my Daughter wanted chicken Nuggets but they did not have any but our waiter said no problem you leave that with me. Got on his phone and rang a colleague to go to a shop and get some for her. Her little face lit up with joy, what other restaurants would do that? Well done Spice Dunes 👏 brilliant service.

We have had many takeaways and eaten in a couple of times. They are very friendly and the food is fantastic. It's always a pleasure.

Was by far the worst curry I’ve ever had ! My madras’s was as runny as water and flavourless ! And the chicken was dry as a bone ! 100% won’t be recommended this place or going back !

I moved to BANES over two years ago and have had, last night , my first Indian takeaway since then. I delayed because I didn’t think I would get as good a meal as I previously enjoyed. I was wrong. The Spice Dunes is every bit as good in every way. It’s also a very nice place to eat in. And deservedly popular.

Probably the best indian takeaway I've had in a long time! All the positive reviews did not lie. Really pleased to see there is an offer available during the week too.

Love this place staff very friendly only ever eat chicken Korma masses of chicken masses of sauce rice very fragrant and tasty it is a hidden gem!

Delicious curries not too oily, reasonable prices, food was nice and hot when we got it home. Tandoori chicken was too salty though! Everything else was perfect!

Takeaway ordered on the internet and received text to say it would be ready from 7:15pm. I arrived at 7:10pm and had to wait till 7:40pm so it was 25 minutes late. I wasn't alone, the place was full of people waiting for takeaways and the car parking outside was rammed. It's not good enough. Food was very good.

Best Curry I've had in the West Country. Nicely balanced dishes, with some unusual specials as well as the classics. Staff are good guys, happy to help and advise.

Very good service. Waiters very attentive. Food is very highly recommended. Best chapatis and tarka dall you will have outside of Bangladesh or India.

Very nice! I had the chicken madras which was perfect.

We booked a table, had a good selection of food, a limited selection of wine all excellent. The service was prompt, friendly and polite.

Always great quality food at Spice Dunes. Although we were the only table sat at the time of arrival, we were greeted well, and attended to throughout the meal. Cheese Naan a particular highlight.

My girls love a curry and the service has always been exempliary.

On the outside it looks run down but once inside it is well looked after, well decorated and lush decor. The tikka masala I had was delicious and I will be back to try something different for sure. Good and friendly service and the price is fair if you fancy a curry treat this is well worth a trip.

Ordered on line and paid. Went to the restaurant at the time I booked for collection. Bang on time, piping hot food in a bag. The food is absolutely delicious The staff were very welcoming. It seemed a busy place. Not surprised as I guess everyone wants to dine there or to order a take out. Many thanks.

Had the family over and thought we'd order a nice takeaway curry. Had a fairly large order and although it was prepared on-time the food was overall very bland. Rice was VERY watery and flooded the plate which made it really un-enjoyable

Unfortunately, while the ambience and service was superb, the food turned out to be made with lots of honey/sugar with chilli on top where spice was requested. Not a good experience for a party that we did the takeaway for over £200 and sadly a lot of food was wasted. We may not visit the area soon but even if we do it is extremely unlikely that we will use this place. Sorry but I am unable to convince myself to give any higher rating

I recently ordered a large order >£200 from Spice Dunes, Wells while visiting Somerset. The service and ambience of the restaurant is great. We ordered an extensive order with the staff suggesting they are authentic. We specifically mentioned that we are looking for authentic Indian and medium to spicy food. To our disappointment, the restaurant gave us food which was completely sweet!!! This kind of non sense is quite prevalent in the UK where Bangladeshi cuisine specialist claim to be authentic Indian cuisine. They couldn’t even emulate Lamb Nihari which was a huge surprise. Worst part is that the food was wasted in this process. NOT RECOMMENDED !!!!!

Very nice inside and very attentive staff. For three men the bill was £93. The food was a reasonable quality but not great. I had a king prawn Biriani but the prawns were hard and tasteless. Quantity over quality I feel.

Really exceptional customer service, staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We asked for our dish to be extra spicy, and they not only delivered a delicious spicy dish as requested; they also included some extra Naga pickle to heat it up more if I desired. Definitely will be returning!

The food is great, the service is good. Lost 2 stars because the place is not Corona proof. The waiter didn't always wear his mask properly and the tables were too close together

Had a fantastic meal, food is amazing and the staff are lovely, would recommend for eating in or take away.

I've eaten here both in the restaurant and as a take-away, and I really enjoy it here. The food is delicious, with generous portion sizes on an expansive menu. I certainly think this is the best tasting curry in the area. On the odd occasion the food quality can drop if they are particularly busy, but 99% of the time it's great. The staff are very friendly and attentive if you are eating in, and if you are getting a take-away, they will do their best to make you comfortable if you need to wait.

The best Indian restaurant in the area by far! The guys are always welcoming and the food is top notch
