Spice in Swansea

Qué palabrería pedí una comida para llevar, ya que no estoy bien de la gripe. No podría haber dado al repartidor físicamente muchas mejores instrucciones de dónde me alojo, pero no pudo encontrarme. No me divertí ya que tuve que esperar bajo el frío y la lluvia buscándolo. Cuando recibí mi pedido la coca faltaba pero volvieron para traerme una. La comida era asquerosa fría, grasienta y absolutamente insípida Creo que esto es físicamente la peor comida para llevar que he comido y no era barato. Terminó en la papelera, que era el mejor lugar para esta mierda de mal gusto 💩

My Dhal was awful, I honestly make a great one at home my Sri Lankan friend taught me and the one here was literally just yellow water that tasted like chicken super noodles SO much salt and way too much garlic- don’t get me wrong I love salt and garlic but this was inedible and was just liquid! Basically no chick peas or anything. Our korma and Masala had (and I am not kidding) no flavor.. like- at all! Couldn’t taste a thing and had to add salt just to try and eat it. We ordered a chutney tray that wasn’t there and they gave us the wrong rice. I have Easter here before and thought it wasn’t amazing but was alright but now I’ll never bother again. I don’t care how close they are, I would rather drive to Mumbles and have something worth paying for. In addition- my dog wouldn’t even eat it.

I payed £8 for mixed kabab it was ready lovey but knot much meat for the price and my husband had chicken tikka masala it was lovey the only problem is the sauce is to thick can't pour over the rice and chips

Ordered the chicken tikka madras. It was truly awful. Opened the lid and all I could smell was carrots. It was as if carrot and coriander soup had been thrown together with some chilli powder. The chicken was so small and chewy. Will never eat here again. Very disappointed. After posting this review and telling the good chaps at spice about how disappointing the food was they apologised. Not only that they gave me the same curry free of charge and it was absolutely stunning. Still going there and really good meals always. Everyone has a bad day. It’s how you respond that matters.

Food arrived earlier than expected. A papadum short of my order, and the ones that arrived were stale and reeked of old oil. They were binned immediately. The chicken in the chicken tikka was fatty and inedible whereas the chicken in the dhansak and pathia was almost missing altogether. The bhajis were also a mess and not even whole; virtually a bag of mush. Haven’t had food here in a while, and I’ll have to give it a miss for a while longer. It’s a shame really. Have been back and tried again this weekend 08.04.23 and it was worse. Raw onion Bhaji, measly portion of Sagaloo even though we ordered the main size, and stale papadums (which were paid for - not the complimentary kind). Will not try this again until change of ownership.

Been a regular now for 5 visits and never disappointed, always plenty of food and always cooked to perfection… Highly recommend 👌

Just wanted to say that this is my genuine feedback, not the hacked account 1 star feed back which I can't delete or contact Just Eat about, which is most unfair to this business. The take away was delivered promptly, with some welcome and tasty complimentary snacks too. The curries were delicious, including the fantastic aubergine dish which really hit the spot. We're keeping the menu which came with the delivery and we'll definitely buy again in the future. Thank you very much for a delicious family meal.

Great take away. Tasty food and good value for money. Went in and ordered and it took about 15 mins.

I've used Spice all year for my takeaway Currie's, and I can honestly say they are consistently good, the place is clean and the food cooked fresh in front of you, the staff are polite and helpful too.

Oh my days! We ordered four meals and none of them was tasty. The chicken curry was watery, the biryani was tasteless.. with a very small amount of curry sauce. Honestly… I was embarrassed to serve this to friends!!

By far the worst and most bland meal, let alone Indian, that I have ever had the displeasure of ever eating. 4 different meals and hard to tell which was the worst. Now putting chicken nuggets and chips in the oven to try to get rid of the test and have something half worth eating

We had a fantastic takeaway this evening. Fantastic food, fast service and they even threw in a free naan bread. I would highly recommend. We ordered both meat and vegetarian dishes, both were fabulous. Thanks to our friendly delivery man too. :)

Bought a curry for 4 of us for Mother’s Day - onion bhajis, meat samosa, korma, goa chicken, chicken balti and butter chicken. Mushroom rice and peshawari naan. Very disappointing across all dishes, chicken seemed reheated, very bland taste with no depth. Mushroom rice was very bland with a few mushrooms in. Onion bhajis seemed reheated too as they were tough and tasteless. Meat samosas were the only half decent item in the order. Peshawari naans were very tough and also bland. All in all very disappointing and very poor value. Unfortunately will not but from there again based on this meal.

Food was over an hour late, when delivered it was cold, chicken was very dry, onion bhaji were oily couldn't even pull the naan bread apart. Phoned to complain and was told they would bring me another naan bread and how can the chicken be dry when it's in a sauce ☹️, not happy

Omg why I did order from them! Absolutely disgusting, I ordered a mix grill and I get some old chicken and some other little pieces of (I don’t know what) and when I say little I mean child portions. chips oily and uncooked. I will never do it again. 15 .00 pounds for a dinner in the rubbish, I couldn’t eat anything from it.

After slightly disappointing prawn curry Spice promised me a credit to the same value of that curry next time. They were true to their word and the Goa chicken curry was magnificent.... well done Spice and thank you.

Might be the best Indian I ever had! My family went to pick our order up, they sat and watched it freshly cooked. We were given great portions, and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Ordered after receiving a leaflet through the door. We had the set meal for two, which was absolutely delicious, the starters and the main courses were delightful. Would highly recommend

Ordered from Spice a few times now and never an issue. Amazing curries. Chicken madras is brilliant.

Nice you can see them cooking the food had the chefs special from the specials menu, it was perfectly OK but I expected someone much more spicy, Possibly we ordered the wrong thing or its just a case of personal preference but I'd have though the chefs special that they name after the restaurant itself would be a taste sensation but it was just OK (no unpleasant just OK)

Been to this takeaway on 3 separate occasions had a fantastic meal on every visit ingredients top quality and always lots of meat would highly recommend a visit, new owners brilliant chefs

Under new management, and what a difference. Food was excellent and generous sized portions. Still no card machine to pay so cash only ! However, the place is clean and the food is good.
