Normally excellent, this time as the driver passed the food, the bag snapped and went on the floor, picked it up and seemed fine, then the paper bag completely tore and food on the floor again, by the time I managed to get the food inside, all three curries had bust in the bag and was everywhere

Ordered meat rogan josh and it had more onions, peppers than meat. Delivery guy was polite and helpful.

great food. they did deliver my food but forgot the pizza. made them aware of it and rectified by delivering the pizza, following up with a cake as a gesture of goodwill. Mistakes happen but I'm happy they resolved this.

This is the second time we have used this establishment and this is the second time the food has turned up a lot later than advised. The order in here said delivered and we received the food 30 minutes later. No communication from the store to apologise until I contacted them to see where our food was. Would not use again

Pizza was burnt, waited over 45 minutes for it with no update on the just eat app, shouldn’t have bothered waiting for it, waste of money.

Thoroughly enjoyed the curry and the rice and onion bajis however the chicken was slightly bland and wasn’t really fried well. The chips were ok and there was an average amount of cheese. The milkshakes were absolutely gorgeous and based on the curry and the milkshakes we would order again! We can tell it may have just been a bad occasion for the chicken and the chips based on how good everything else was.

just a really solid takeaway place, curries are really nice and theyre not stingy with what they give you. only “bad thing” i could say is that the pizzas are really greasy but you can easily pat it down with a paper towel if that bothers you too much

Curry nice, chips and chapatti were fine, but the onion and mushroom bhajis were inedible. The onion bhaji were raw in the middle, just raw batter, and the mushroom bhaji were rock hard and impossible to eat.

My special kebab wasn't very special. Only three pieces of chicken, rest being Donner. Mushrooms looked like they were out of a tin and hardly garlicky. Chips were on the soggy side. Pizza was ok.

Too many chances now. They give excuse after excuse, 75 mins for a small order 5 mins down the road is ridiculous. 9/10 times there is items missing and yet again this order was mostly cold. 100% never again.

Food taste and quality is excellent, just a shame the portion sizes of the kebab wasn't bigger. larger nanns would be better with more filling. I would be happy to pay more for a good portion size but after ordering when it came it was smalll containing only chicken tikka and donner leaving me still being hungry, maybe an option of man sized (large or extra large) would be very welcome 😁

First time ordering tonight from here. The order was a bit delayed but someone called me to apologise, which I thought was a nice touch. The food was piping hot when it came and the curry was really good. Definitely order again.

I think it is extremely poor that every time we order you mark it off as the order is on its way then by the latest arrival time on just eat you say it has been delivered. Tonight our £50 order came over 30 minutes later than when you said it had been delivered. We enjoy your food but for this reason I will not order again.

I started buying take aways from Special One many, many years ago when I lived in Crossgates. It must be 20 years now, but I have NEVER, ever had a bad meal from these guys. I do love a good kebab and these guys know how to create a beautiful one with plenty of filling and salad and a sauce that you really can taste! Even though I have since moved from Crossgates-Middleton-Rothwell, I still order from them on a regular basis and they kindly deliver to us and their vehicles must be able to find their own way by now! I am pleased that in an ever changing world, as the years have moved on - the food has got better and better and the staff still cook with passion, love and know how to do it. It is great knowing that this establishment still scores maximum with cleanliness and the service is excellent. My thanks goes to you all and here are to the next 20 years! Tonight though, that kebab was outstanding! Kev

It said as soon as order was accepted that food was on its way. Not very nice food sorry ,

special kebab and a chicken kebab. the nann bread was stale tasting and just a cheap frozen one. chicken was overcooked and was too dry.

I left a review on just eat before for Special one about food being late. The only reason the food was late is because it was snowing so it's probably a bit unfair. I would just like to add all the delivery drivers are spot on and the food is always tasty.

This takeaway are extremely pleasant and make they're food so tasty it is unbelievable!!.. I have been coming here for yrs now, they're takeaway is always clean and well aired. ..I will continue to order from Special One for many more yrs to come 😊
