Food delivered 45 mins after left shop late and cold, driver having gone to wrong address but instead of coming to us drives around for a while!?!?

I’m here from up north and I must say that was the best Chinese I have had for a long time well done food arrived before time which was brill and food was hot and really lovely enjoyed so much will be ordering again before I go home

Placed an order online. It was ready on time when we collected it. Food was really tasty and plenty of it. Prawn crackers and a fortune cookie each too. 10/10 would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering from here again. Lady who served us was happy and offered great customer service

The food didn't taste brilliant, lacked flavour. Chicken was very chewy.

Late, of the dishes was squashed so sauce was all over the other dishes and in the bottom of the bag, probably the drivers fault more than the restaurant. Food was ok, but expensive now. Good quality didn’t match the price at all.

Food was on time but was stone cold. Sauce was very runny basically like water, containers were split inside the bag also which meant the sweet and sour water was everywhere, wont be using again.

Ordered on Saturday, told an 1 hr 10 mins wait for delivery. Way past the time it was due, tried to call, couldn't get through no one was answering the phone. Finally it turned. Had to throw away the Pad Thai as they put peppers in there and I am allergic to them not the first time this has happened. Lukewarm food. For the price I would expect better. Will not be ordering from them again.

A nice clean pick up waiting area, a decent menu to select from, however the execution lets them down.My wife had the chicken and sweetcorn soup, which when asked said it wasn’t the best she had. I had 2 vegetable pancake rolls as a starter, which were crispy, with a nice filling, so reasonable. My main course was egg fried rice, which was okay, and beef in oyster sause which was poor. The beef was tough and overcooked, so mostly inedible and the oyster sauce flavour was very weak and watery. Overall I can’t recommend here.

The food was ordered on the base of order time of 60 minutes. It has now been 2.5hours and received food with zero apology from the restaurant, even though we spoke whilst waiting. We will not be spending our money with this establishment again , even though they are the most local to us. I want to support local business's but I can't get behind it if they can't return the favour. Very disappointed.

Awful service, waited over 2 hours 30 minutes for our food. Ordered at 18:30 Saturday night abs got told 1 he. Had family over for special occasion and was ruined as they had to leave as was 9pm and still no food Called the restaurant and absolutely no apology. Got offered a discount next time we use it, what a joke Never again

Ordering on the phone was great. Food arrived. Chicken with ginger and garlic was the most disgusting thing . Looked awful, smelled awful and it went straight in the bin. Shredded beef ( couldn't taste any beef apart from like eating sugar sweets dipped in marmalade ) very disappointed with my mother's day treat. We all have funny tummies today . Never again !

Soya Oriental is our go to for Chinese take out as the food & service are usually excelkant. They was a much longer wait tonight (1.5 hours) but we excepted that as an unusual wait but hey ho it is Saturday night. However we waited 2 hours and had to call the shop to get an update. Our food was okay but not up to the usual high standard leading us to believe it was rushed. Disappointed tonight

I have to warn fellow vegetarians to beware. We ordered a takeaway last night which came on time but…it wasn’t worth the wait. My chow mein was supposed to be vegetarian but I could taste meat. It may have been cooked in the same oil as another meat dish, I don’t know. I couldn’t eat it and my family agreed that it tasted odd. Their food was ok, it was just mine. Feeling badly let down.

I had to wait an 90 minutes for 3 items to be delivered. When I phoned to ask if the order had left yet the lady on the phone was extremely rude. It was cold when it arrived

Ordered confirmed at 7:14pm after it stated 50-70 mins and didn’t arrive until 9:10pm and restaurant is 15 min drive maximum from my home, very poor and to make things worse the food also not hot and clearly been sat on side for so long awaiting the driver to make the delivery so want a refund

The best chilli crispy beef around the area. Tried the teriyaki chicken tonight. it was delicious. Everything arrived hot.

Takeaway ordered. Spring rolls are huge and very tasty. Red curry was good and apparently so was the Panang for those who could eat it. Rice and Satay sauce was my meal. Satay sauce was good but not much of a meal.

the chicken balls were really good and portions were huge! Unfortunately everything was lacking flavours, very fatty and tasted of used fried oil. the prawn craker were the worst I ever tried in terms of taste. Desappointing, we won't order again.

Probably the best Oriental/Chinese takeaway in High Wycombe. Ingredients are by far better than anyone else, fresh and rich in flavour. We've never been disappointed. Highly reccomend.

This place used to be one of the best in the area but now the standard of food is no where as good as it used to be. It also has got really expensive. This along with a sesame prawn toast that was burnt and inedible and the standard reply when they get an item wrong or it's sub standard of let us know next time we will reduce price but call us instead of ordering through just eat is unacceptable now. I certainly would think twice before using again or recommending.

Was soo looking forward to a quiet night in with a friend catching up and settling down with a takeaway from Soya at a reasonable time (2000). Told on phone food would arrive at 2010, it didn't come until 2105! When I rang at 2030 to check the whereabouts, the nice-sounding girl on phone could only say 'it's on its way, we will tell the driver to deliver to you first'. Vague. I wish the time of arrival had been more realistic. 30 mins later when it had finally arrived, we were both exhausted and my main dish was luke warm. Not ideal. Just be aware your Friday night takeaway set-up might not go totally to plan when ordering from here.

A lovely set meal with free prawn crackers. Delivery driver lovely and helped to shut the front door for me when he noticed I was struggling to walk. Would definitely order from here again.

Delivery was good- especially on a Friday night so that was great! But I'm not sure if a bag was left behind (we had quite a large order) - we were missing 3 items And the items we did get, really weren't great quality, I don't think we will be ordering from here in future

It was a birthday treat for a family member and I jokingly put this in the Instructions section so to feel free to sing. Never expected them to actually do it while delivering the order BUT THEY DID and also had a birthday message as well. She loved loved loved it. And don’t even get me started on the food 10/10 all the way

My crispy shredded chilli beef was very disappointing. There wasn't enough beef in there to taste like meat. They might as well just have deep fried batter alone. It was also not spicy, rather it was just in a sweet chilli sauce with only a token amount of the promised carrots and chilli. My husband enjoyed his duck chow mein, although he wished there was more duck in there. The spring rolls and rice were good.

Sweet and sour chicken didn't taste right this time having ordered this from here before. Wife now feeling nauseous so won't be ordering again.

If I have to add a comment it would be that the portions are too large for the average person so it's either a Chinese breakfast or wasted, otherwise a very tasty meal had by all.

It’s took me and my partner genuinely years to find a Chinese food take away that we both like and want to order from again. We’ve ordered from here a number of times now and each time we’ve both really enjoyed it. Good flavours, not too greasy and our order has always arrived earlier then expected! We’ve also always been given free prawn crackers - not something I’ve found with other Chinese food take away places - and last night we even got fortune cookies. Thank you, we will be back.

I was slightly disappointed with the duck - wasn't crispy all- not great for pancakes, but I guess this can be improved:) Soup and chow main was beautiful Wait time is quite long also. But overall Service is lovely, and will order again :)

I'm not sure delivery should have knocked and then left it on the doorstep. I appreciate he's busy but i may not have heard him knock.. and I'm pretty certain when the restaurant stores food they are supposed to keep it off of the floor. So the same applies to my doorstep! The food was delivered 35 mins earlier than expecting resulting in us trying to keep it warm until everybody had arrived. The food was of good quality just not as hot as we had required due to early delivery.

Amazing as always, the food is brilliant the only annoying thing is the delivery is always late! I’ve ordered at 5 pm for 6.45 pm and food arrived at 7.30pm… (food was still very hot) apart from that I would recommend 100%

Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style and egg fried rice no taste very dry and fatty. £12. + waisted. Bad stomach in the morning. How can you cook this fresh and be out the kitchen in about 4mins

Food was "OK", but waaaay too much salt. Totally unnecessary. Was 45 mins late but restaurant very helpful when I called.

After a problem with our order the restaurant where very helpfull in correcting this, the new food arrived hot and very tasty and was sorted very quickly

We ordered at 1700 and food didn’t arrive until 1900. We had to call the restaurant twice to get an update on the order and the call handler was not very helpful and said it was on the way. However we know the restaurant is less than 10mins away so was never “on the way”. Food came warm but 2 hours is unacceptable and missed the latest delivery window they set out.

I always order from Soya Oriental and they are always amazing. The food is excellent and I enjoy it every time. The chicken balls are delicious and the crispy beef is well made and remains crispy. Absolutely recommend this takeaway the best in High Wycombe.

We unfortunately did not receive the sweet and sour king prawn balls. The part of this set meal that we look forward to the most. The balls were chicken. Good quality as always, but disappointed the order was incorrect.
