Hidden little gem........and oj the night we visited there was a great band, The Monkeymen.....can't wait to see them again......

Shame it's so quiet, it's one of the nicest bars in Darwen, good beer selection and friendly service.

A good, intimate music venue in the heart of Darwen. Characterful building & set up. Well worth a visit. OK prices.

Recently reopened, was The Blues Bar before it. Entrance can be a bit precarious, especially if you've had a few brandies because it's a very steep, rather uneven 'olde England' cobbled Street to get up/down. Quite small inside but does the job! Stage area where a local (very good) singer was doing an 80s night.

Fantastic venue for drinks, live entertainment, to watch sport, relax and have a function too. Staff are so friendly. Highly recommend.

This really classy place has artists on frequently of the highest quality, as well as a great selection of beers, ales and spirits. Very clean, fresh, friendly atmosphere. Yet to try the food but that's on the agenda.

Amazing place to come and relax and listen to some amazing blues music. Really friendly staff too. Food menu is a bit limited but it does the job!

Massively surprised by this place. Last time I was here was when it was the old Catholic club. They've done a fabulous job of refurbishing it. Comfy seating, nice decor and the music was brilliant (went on the night cat fish were playing). Would definitely be going back.

Love the bar and l like the atmosphere, not into blues banda enough to warrant paying for entry so don't go in as much as I would if it was free entry all the time.

Best music and artists available and the best style of music. Staff are very friendly and very accommodating and even made food special that weren't on the menu for a friend who can't eat some of the things available.

Beautifully presented venue. Great for music. The food looks fantastic too. Few different areas. Owners have ploughed heart and soul into the place. Excellent venue in my opinion.

Pretty impressed with this place, looks to have a good reno with good attention to detail. I feel it could easily be missed from the main road if walking past though, it could easily be missed. It was fairly quiet when we arrived but slowly got busier and ended up getting a good atmosphere. I think it will take quite a crowd to fill it and would love to see it when they have a live band on, will defo be back.

What a great night we had here . enjoyed the blues band on the night we were there . some great entertainment . would go again, although beer prices higher than other venues nearby..

Brilliant Opening Night. Attended my first ever blues bar with live band. Certainly an experience to remember. I'd no idea how good this type of music is live. Fabulous place with impeccable standards and decor. Certainly will be going again, and certainly happy to recommend to others.
