100% HAPPY. I can’t express enough how much we really enjoyed having our daughters 18th birthday party at the Olive Bar and Kitchen on Belgrave Road, Darwen. This venue is absolutely superb. It has a downstairs room with a spacious layout, bar, TVs, and toilets, then upstairs there is a dancefloor with seating and a little snug room with again comfy seats next to the upstairs bar. If this wasn’t enough already, there is also an outside terrace, leading from the upstairs room with seating, some of which under cover, letting you sit and drink under the stars. The atmosphere with the layout, lighting, staff, and of course I will guests was amazing and better than I could ever wish for our daughter Ellie for her 18th birthday. She kept coming up to us all night saying thank you. Mario, who I presume is, the owner answered all of our questions leading up to the party and we only got around to going to the bar in the week leading up to the party and let me tell you. He is such a nice pleasant energetic guy. We went to see the venue in the daytime which looked great, but in the evening, it was even more spectacular. I don’t often write reviews this one just had to be done as a massive thank you to them all as they couldn’t of done anything more for us. As I started this review we are 100% happy and crucially, so is my daughter.

Absolutely amazingly cannot recommend highly enough. Food was fantastic and service was perfect. One of the very few places in Darwen that offers a full 3 course Vegan menú .We will definitely be trying everything else (Vegan) on the menu.

Lovely meal here the other night with five friends. I had the muscles as a main with the Aubergine parmigiana which was heaven in a dish. All of us throughly recommended. Only 4 stars because he had no-one to make cocktails. What's all that about? We have to support local businesses.

Beautiful quirky little establishment, atmosphere was so chilled, outside area is perfectly finished. Looking forward to trying food next time.

Nice place ,went for a function was very difficult going up the stairs with a pram and a disabled adult .
