Great Korean Restaurant in New Malden. Highly recommended. All the food was amazing, and the thing is that all foods are made with no MSG! The taste of the food was very mild, delicious, and harmonious. Especially, this Korean restaurant offers a lunch special from Tuesday to Thursday. They provide a set meal of special dishes made with fresh ingredients of the day, which changes daily. This restaurant, led by a licensed Korean owner chef, amazed us with its taste and impeccable service.

I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The raw crab is just like I had in Korean!! Super delicious!! And all the side dishes are amazing!!! My husband had spicy Korean chicken and it was delicious aa well!! The service was excellent too!!! Just one thing I want more food selections for kids.

I went there on their opening night in the evening, I ordered spicy beef broth soup ( Yookkaejang 육계장 in Korean) and the tasty was very clean and almost kind my mum's home cooking, lots of vegetables inside as well. I just loved it. I eat out very often so I was a bit over MSGed and found this dish much more less heavily seasoned if you know what I mean. I really hope that they carry on cooking and providing amazing fresh food and different Korean dish. I liked their unique side dishes as well. I will definitely go back and try something else. Great Korean BBQ restaurant, just of the high street, worth the walk. The service was friendly and the pork bulgogi was delicious. The banchan were also yummy, with a selection of kimchi, radish and potato.

If you know the menu in advance, you can enjoy your meal right away without having to wait long. Compared to other restaurants, the menu is clear and the dishes are prepared very quickly by the best Korean chef in the kitchen. The food was plentiful and they were honest about the prices.

Summer holiday family dining out is the best. I also had a family dinner out for my son's birthday. The food was served quickly without having to wait long. Compared to other restaurants, the menu is clear and the dishes are prepared very quickly. Nevertheless, it truly tastes like the best Korean food. The amount of ingredients was generous and the prices were honest. For reference, my family consists of 8 people.

*Service charge is not optional here* Food was OK but additional £3.50 charge for salad (lettuce wrap), which usually comes with a BBQ sets at other restaurants was unusual. More vegetables to go with BBQ sets would have been nice, even if this would only have been onions to warm up the grill. LA galbi was a good portion.

Galbitang was like a famous Korean restaurant, and the tteokbokki was delicious!! I was very grateful to the owners for being so kind. I was especially touched by how good he was to my children! I will definitely designate this place as a regular! So hideout!!

Soy sauce crab sauce has no taste. It tastes like frozen and fishy when thawed. The soft tofu stew wasn’t very good either. The kimchi stew tastes good, but I don't know what part of the meat it is.

I was stopped randomly here for lunch and was a good lucky. Here the atmosphere is like you are at home. The waiter, probably the owner was a very gentleman and pay attention at all, also asking me if I was satisfied with the dish and explained me about their food. Really happy and will coming back again when around.

Fantastic authentic Korean food with very good service. Decor is a little rough around the edges but don't let that put you off. It's all about the delicious food.

I think this restaurant is delicious and I have been here many times, especially the pork ribs pot, which is a big portion. The staff is also very friendly and helped us grill the meat. They also gave us small drinks when we left🥺

The chicken bbq plate was set on the other table, they are too busy to help, so some cabbage was badly burned. I think the dish will be very delicious but now it was ruined by the strong burning smell. All the rest was fine.

Heard that their raw crab was very nice. I tried the raw crab lunch set. The raw crab with rice was so delicious!! The crab legs were soft which were different from those at Jin Go Gae. Unfortunately, they only provided crab legs but no crab shell!😭 Crab shell is supposed to be the most delicious part of the dish! I may try to order the à la carte raw crab next time.

Decided to try this restaurant cuz of the high google rating but turns out the service was really poor and food wasn’t great either. The bbq beef was super tough, and the seafood pancake was doughy and made with frozen mussels and calamari which tasted really fishy. Initially when the bbq was cooking we weren’t even served drinks and only when the owner came along did the drinks, salad and dipping sauce get served. There was only one type of dipping sauce with garlic and green chilli on the side which was just basic.. Having been to many Korean bbq restaurants in the past I know what to expect from a decent restaurant and unfortunately this place doesn’t measure up to the 4.6 rating

It was the most delicious BBQ I had in London. It tastes exactly like eating in Korea, and I highly recommend the pork ribs! The staff were also very friendly. Totally recommended!!! You should try to visit here, if you want to eat nice bbq and kind service.

This place used to be good, until I discover the kitchen hygiene. It's not acceptable to double dip after tasting for a proper restaurant. I'm not sure if the owner is switched or what happened. There were some professional staff but it has gone downhill from food to service. Very disappointed we used to love this restaurant.

Very, very delicious, not too expensive, and not too expensive. The sauce crab has no fishy smell and is delicious with rice. The BBQ LA ribs are the best, and the chicken feet are spicy and delicious.

The restaurant has been renovated and the vibes are IMMACULATE and the service is wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and lovely. Definitely recommend and the food is just amazing. I will definitely visit again. I made such lovely memories with my friends and family.

Barbecued pork belly and beef galbi were excellent. Even the kimchi tastes so good, better than the other Korean restaurants in New Malden. Kimchi fried rice was also great. Just a couple of things could be improved: 1) staff could have communicated better about the food they were cooking at the table. They would come and go without even speaking to us. At one point we checked and realised they had switched off the gas so it was cooked and ready to eat, but not a word was said to us… slightly odd. Still it tasted great so this is only a minor quibble. Also 2) the toilet was really gross when we visited. Someone had left their baby’s dirty nappy hanging out of the bin 🤮 and there was no toilet paper left, but paper stuck to the floor around the bin, and water (or pee?) spilled on the floor. Basic hygiene is important in a restaurant so I wish they would improve this.

Been ignored by the girl who work there so many time when i needed to order food, she doesn’t seem very happy either. Been double charged twice so please check your receipt carefully when you about to pay, i have to corrected her once the second time but not the first because i wasn’t pay attention. Overall don’t like my experience here.

This is a restaurant I visit at least once a week. My favorite menu items are cold noodles, soy sauce crab sauce, and soft tofu stew~ We also recommend chicken ribs and pork ribs.

I enjoyed it so much! I ordered several menus and each and every one was delicious and it was really great, just like eating in Korea! The price was very reasonable and the portions were plentiful and I was full. The service is good, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant is comfortable and clean, so I can eat comfortably. The barbecue is really delicious, especially the raw beef and soy sauce crab sauce. Be sure to go. Go twice. Go three times!!!!

My first time I came here & thought I'd wanted to try out what they displayed in the lunch deal posted outside but turns out they don't do that. Customer service is good but not the best as when I took an additional order, it took half an hour until my other food got cold.

Raw soya crab was very yum and impressive. you cant find this quality in UK. spicy raw crab was toooo spicy. think twice. Service is very slow but will be back to try raw beef.

Good price and good value for money, spicy chicken feet is really nice, it is very well cooked. But the dak galbi is very average taste so might not come back for that dish. I love their salad bar as u can refill the side dish unlimited. Kimchi was very tasty I can’t stop having more of it!

It's a nice small Korean restaurant. Not the best at dealing with vegetarians. Has a good local energy with very good lunch time deals! Unbelievable communication system installed to streamline guest to server experience. Lovely decor, with passionate staff!

The food here is amazing! It’s a little bit off the Main Street but the food is definitely worth it. The customer service is great, very friendly and the food comes out quick. They’re understanding of allergies and the customers needs. Just overall great hospitality. Their BBQ is to die for and their soy and spicy crabs are just something different. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great, traditional Korean food.

I had raw beef and it was so good because it wasn't too sweet. Even when compared to restaurants that serve yukhoe in Korea, I would say that it is not inferior at all and is almost at the highest level by the standards of Korean restaurants in Europe. I hope you continue to maintain this level. I have to eat it again next time ^^

It's no on the main street but definitely worth to walk a few more steps. Soya marinated raw crab is absolutely delicious, but seems there isn't any crab yolk (yellow flesh). Pork ribs pot said it's suitable for 2 people, in fact it's enough for 5, at least we couldn't finished it because there's so much food in the pot. Highly recommend those two dishes, carb and pork. Seafood pancakes was good too, very crispy. BBQ was using a magic heating surface, hiding inside of the table, it took us very long time to understand what's going on. Korean style chicken feet was amazing, but it's a bit too spicy for me, all other people are quite happy about the spiciness. Hot dogs was average, not bad but nothing special. We have spent £22 per person

The staff members are very friendly and give out lots of services. They also have a very big amount of space. The prices are cheaper than other shops and even better, tastier! I definitely recommend you to visit this place. This place has a taste that is very addictive and even picky eaters will love all the food there

Korean food in Korea town done well. The soups were amazing and I would definitely come back and pay regular price. The dumplings and sweet chicken were supposed to be starters but the chicken was too filling for us. We took advantage of the £5 per dish offer they were doing to encourage people back to the restaurant after covid, so maybe got a bit too over zealous with the ordering! The only thing I would say is, next time I would sit on the regular tables…as the booth tables are positioned way too far from the seats meaning you have to bend forward A LONG WAY and sit at the edge of your seat to eat = a design flaw. Maybe they have a team of basketball players who regular come to eat. 😜 It’s possible to park on the road just outside, but you have to be very lucky to get a space in peak hours. We went for Wednesday lunch so it wasn’t an issue… cost £1.75 for 1.5hrs.

Had a nice time. Simple restaurant with neon light decorations. Feels quite authentic. Resonance prices. Recommendations: Seafood pancake, Spicy tofu soup; BBQ pork Galbi, Makgeolli (rice wine, not special brand but if u never try can give it a go), Naengmyeon (cold noodles; vinegary + sweet taste I love it!) Apart from was quite disappointed about the sold out soy crab :( I went there only for it but I asked and they said they could serve it but didn’t reserve it (maybe can’t I guess?) We should have tried to reserve the specific dish properly before we go next time. But the drinks and the £5 menu made up for it tho. Wanna go back again for the soy crab

First time eating here. Little booths, has a off license in there, Korean bbq with a hot plate they will cook and cut the meat up of you can do it yourself. I like it's unlimited starter sides dishes, has some decking outside when the weather is nice would be very nice. Has a lockdown £5 price for mnay dishes which is great value. Has some free parking off side street. Would recommend for sure

What a find, and right next to another great restaurant. Food here is great, the soy crab is a real gem (no other Korean restaurant in New Malden does it better). You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If local Koreans are going here, then you know its good. Hopefully things stay this way (and not the way of another once great Korean place).

A hideout restaurant located in New Malden, London, England~~Even I, a picky eater, fell in love with it. The taste, quantity, and price are cheaper than other places, but the taste is even better!! I am so impressed with the taste that I can trust it and eat it so much that I want to praise Shemp. I wasn't expecting this food delivered to me, but I was so surprised by the taste... Went with my flatmates 2 weeks ago and had a delicious lunch. From pajeon to japchae to samgyupsal: all was great. I read a lot of reviews of Korean restaurants in New Malden and Azit had the best reviews for service: I can attest they're real. I had a small accident when one of the guys dropped the crab in the spicy sauce and it splashed into my right eye. The waitress was amazing then as well (she was very attentive all the time) and she even brought me an ice pack after I managed to get out of the restroom. She really made this experience a lot more pleasant considering Korean food should not be tasted with the eyes.

When I first visited the hideout, I didn't expect much and ate the food, but my mouth was filled with soybean paste stew, budae stew, and soy sauce crab stew. I ate pork ribs, and the pork ribs in particular were soft, fresh, and much more delicious than any food I had eaten in Korea. So I asked the staff, and they said that he was an experienced chef in Korea. In particular, there was a salad bar, so I was able to eat as much lettuce as I wanted and delicious side dishes, and everyone who worked there was there. I guess you could say it felt like I was visiting my parents' house because they were so friendly, so I made a reservation for 12 of my friends. Hangout fighting!

After reading the comments, I ordered chicken and pork cutlet, and it was the most delicious chicken I've had since coming to the UK!^^ In Korean terms, I think it tasted similar to Mexicana chicken. The portion was generous, so I ordered it for lunch and had chicken mayo rice bowl with the leftover chicken for dinner.

Solid menu with all the essentials. Decent above average fried chicken, and kimchi fried rice tastes incredible. I don't even like kinchi fried rice normally. Was pleasantly surprised. Stews are rich in flavour and customer service is good. The waiters are polite and kind. Nice vibe, has open tables and booths which are a bit hidden, so it makes the place less full than it actually is. I've been twice in 2 weeks

Food is delicious! Fresh ingredients. Serving is huge. Good for sharing. Served fast and complete. With free side dishes. The best Kimchi we've tasted. Staff are very accommodating! Onw of my friends requested to add noodles to a dish and the chef happily adjusted the dish upon request. A rare gem. Quaint and cosy. Not on the high street.

I’m sorry to say but this place seems really overrated. The food was very ordinary and the service was just terrible. Left my wife and I sitting there for nearly 30mins while various people came and went. We sat further inside the restaurant as the front seems more devoted to a bar/ small eats like set up.
