Avoid! Been waiting 1 hour and a half and still no food turned up. No one to contact to get this sorted. The rest of the reviews say it all

Burgers are good quality compared to other burger joints. Chips are not bad

Ordering food when working away can be daunting to say the least!! Staying in the Travelodge tonight so went on Just Eat and found SoBe Burger. I’m a bit of a burger connoisseur so it has to be good and I’m pleased to say SoBe Burger tonight hit the spot and the Truffle burger was banging 🌟

Three burgers and three chips ordered Two burgers raw in middle and cold Chicken burger slimy and horrible Truffle Chips missing Phoned restaurant in Hemel to ask for replacement food . He rang the owner and called me back saying he can’t help the food if driver took it (the bag was stapled shut!!) then rang the owner and this time offered the chips I explained the burgers were inedible he said no one ever complains so he phoned owner again who said take it up with Deliveroo I said but I need food he said you’ll have to phone Deliveroo I would never eat from here again

Was so excited as love smash burgers.Never leave reviews but had to for this. The burgers where awful - covered in grease (dripping) with this nasty chewiness to the meat that made me gag on every bite. It was like chewing gum. Suaces where either too sweet or just not very appetizing. Worst burger I have ever had and the truffle chips/sobe chips where both just not tasty.

Food was on point nice truffle burger.

These guys dont know how to use a grill, I thought cooking stuff raw was exclusive to chicken at this place

Honestly, I don't know why they're rated so low because their food is awesome! Highly recommend the truffle fries and the garlic confit burger. Definitely ordering again! Oh and they're halal!

One of the best burgers I've ever had (garlic confit burger). I've tried many burger restaurants I've ordered online every time from this place but it's great. The sides are okay not anything spectacular. The burger however was brilliant

Disgusting meal, the burger meat was chewy and had gristle in it, so they use very cheap meat, it was soooo greasy 🥴🥴 Burger was over loaded with mayo 🤢🤮 what’s worse is that the description on Uber eats doesn’t even tell you what the actually burger is!! But they put enough mayo in there to feed a family of 5 Chips were a weird experience, they had a really weird after taste to them and lacked any real flavour, like do you guys actually salt your chips?? Or just shove a load of mayo on top and hope for the best? Honestly I should have checked the reviews before ordering here, lesson learnt 😭 You’re 100% better off ordering from McDonald’s it will probably be kinder to your stomach 🙂 I’m sure these guys don’t really specialise in food….

Ordered a burger meal deal burger was a 6/10 and tye truffle fries was 4/10 first few chips was okay but after that they were plain unsalted chips so kinda disappointing for just under 20 quid

Never heard of them. Got delivered by Deliveroo and the burger was incredible! Shame the SoBe Chips were cold when they arrived, because they would have been incredible!

Order placed with them via justeat, waited over 140 minutes , regular updates coming through the app saying the order is delayed, couriers busy etc So finally decided to phone the Norwich branch, no apologies for the delay just said the problem was with justeat, they have the order but refused to deliver. This is some of the worst customer service I've experienced, don't care how good the burgers are I will never place an order with SoBe again!!

The burger was tiny no sauce and small fries the false advertising in regards to potions and size is just outrageous, and I would forgive them if only it did not cost me £20 for a baby portion meal

I had the Vegan Burger with Truffle Fries. The burger was nothing special, but the fries were lovely. Its great to see that there are a few vegan options. Cant complain too much about the price, not bad. Delivery was fast

Ordered few pieces of buttermilk chicken tenders and garlic mayo fries. Fries were nice but the chicken tenders were completely and utterly bland, the crispiness/texture was there but it felt like i was having flavourless chicken. No taste whatsoever, no salt or any flavours at all. I thought maybe it was a one time mistake but judging by other reviews, i guess this restaurant lacks taste overall. ADD SALT AND SEASONING TO YOUR FOOD! Never ordering from here again.

Just had a burger from here delivered via just eat. £8:95 for a tiny burger that was gone in three bites, like a Maccies cheeseburger. It was also really salty. Never again.

I ordered from here 3 times and the first two times, the burgers were amazing! Third time ordering, and everything was so bland. Literally no flavour, nothing. The patties were kinda raw as well and they weren't even smashed like pictured on the app. Barely managed to eat 1/3 of it before I had to throw it out. Never ordering from here again.

I placed an order via dreliverooas got home late from London. After 20 minutesThe driver sent a message saying running a little late. Another Half an hour later,they cancelled my order without warning! By thst time it was too late to order from anywhere. Very poor service.no sense of customer service AT ALL!!

Ordered twice now on Uber from Leeds. First time the food was amazing, really well packaged in foil and then paper, and delicious. Second time is missing the foil wrappings and the nice insulated black bag, so it's a bit cold and the chips are very soggy and greasy. Also well confused by the free tiny spoonful of ice cream!!! I thought it was mayo until I realised it was frozen, luckily before dipping my chips in it 😂

I can honestly say I have never left a negative review but tonight experience was unbelievable. Ordered food to a hotel, sat nav takes you straight to it, but driver was lost for an hour. Contacted store but was a third party mobile number and said wasn't their problem, it was ubers incompetent drivers. No solutions, no willingness to resolve, just told to forget it and get a refund. Driver also stating not his problem. Honestly, hate to do this, but avoid like the plaque, luckily I'm only here for work and will never order again.

They do not know how to make food

Ordered through Deliveroo, order was accepted by the restaurant, waited 2 hours and they shut without making my food. Absolutely ridiculous.

Horrible burger, over priced, order anywhere but here! Fries came cold and burger was tiny and burnt! Horrible!

The Cajun fries were pretty good, but a bit too salty for my liking. And the truffle cheeseburger was okay. But the only problem was whoever cooked the burger clearly didn't cook the bottom bun properly. The edges of the bottom bun were still rock hard and I couldn't eat that part. Also the music was too loud, I had to keep repeating myself and shout for the woman to understand.

I really don't get the bad reviews and pictures, first time ordering, did think was a lil pricey unitl it came and ate it, I think its worth every penny one the best burgers I've ever had and fries were amazing too

Super fast delivery and food is to die for, my self and my partner try to find new places and are often left disappointed but always leave a review so others know whats good to try and this place is a must try... the chicken here is my favourite and everything is flavourful. You can tell they love what they cook Heart goes in to it. All 3 times was excellent.

It’s basically Tabasco sauce with a bit of coriander on top such a small portion for the price you pay and the burger just don’t know what to say no salt no pepper, no taste one of the worst smash burgers I’ve ever had in my life, if I can sue Uber eats for the pictures of the burger and what you get I would be a millionaire today the diet Coke was absolutely warm seems like they had no fridge. I've just had my first burger from this place in the Aylesbury branch, and I've never put a negative view about any food I've ever ordered but this was a joke they charged me £9 for this tiny burger which had hardly any meat inside it ,so the whole thing tasted really doughy ,never again, wot a joke

(WARWICK NOT Luton) Ordered in from here, the standard vegan burger came with cheese and for around £3 more you could have it with pickles, bbq sauce and more. So I ordered the more expensive version and it came plain with cheese. The patty was literally black and so burnt... won't be ordering again. Cremated burger and average fries for £17. Should have listened to the many bad reviews. Do not order.

I ordered the garlic comfit burger and truffle fries. Disgusting burger which literally had ZERO FLAVOUR, just grease, despite being absolutely drenched in sauce. Wow. I don't think I have ever had such a bad burger. The truffle fries had ZERO FLAVOUR as well I could not believe it. Not even the flavour of salt. Wth is going on in this place????????

If you going to pay £9.50 minimum for one of there burgers your better off just going to y’a local store and get burgers, bacon (something sobe burgers don’t know nothing about) and buns y’a self this place should be called sobe chips cause everything else was dead dead dead the chips were the best thing, the burger looks nothing like the one on the picture….. I’m begging you learn from my mistake and just go mc Donald’s burger kings or just go to y’a local corner shop and buy burgers and buns this should be banned due to the false advertisement of the burger picture you would of fort me a 32 year big man was getting a extra happy meal burger that’s how tiny the burger was even a happy meal burger would be better and bigger 1/10 and that’s just due to the crispy chips my homemade burger is bigger and better then a sobe burger as you can see in the picture provided

Delicious burgers and for a fair price would order again

First off I’d like to mention I had my delivery from the MK branch which for some reason isn’t on Google. The experience however, was an alright one. Had the Confit Garlic Cheeseburger. It was fairly enjoyable after a long days labour but I must say - I was feeling a bit too garlicy by the time I had got to the end of the burger. Had the SoBe fries aswell which were pretty good - they were surprisingly still crispy which is unusual. The portion sizes are great too! Would visit again to try something new.

We have ordered online from here from the Bishop’s Stortford branch for a long time however recently we have had missing items and cheaper items instead of the items we’ve paid for. I have e mailed and called repeatedly asking to speak with someone or at least a refund for missing items. I have never had a call, a refund or an e mail. I will now need to spread the word that this is a very poor restaurant and not to be used. If anyone from the restaurant would like to contact me please refer to my many message left on your voicemail yesterday. Thank you.

I ordered from this place and never got my food, they lied about it and scammed me. Bad enough that they charge rip off prices for burgers but they have no commitment to actually providing a good service for the inflated price. Better service at McDonalds at least you get the food.

Such poor customer service… the website states all their burgers can be made vegan but there is no option to order them online. When I rang them to ask for a solution I was passed on to 3 different members of staff because no one could help. One of them even admitted “sorry we’re messing you about” wow… only to finally be told that these are not available

Ordered from the Dunstable branch and am Pretty disappointed. If it wasn’t for the taste this would be a 1 star. The burgers are tiny and the bun to burger ratio is shocking. You’d expect a bigger burger not 2x 2.5 oz patties. For the price its not worth it

Ordered from the Penge branch but there are so many restaurants listed as that same address that it could just be a ghost kitchen. Specifically used Ubereats (ie paid more) to be able to leave them a note saying no sauce as there is no contact number available anywhere . They ignored the note and my housemate was unable to eat his food. Of course Uber eats says it's not their problem and the lack of contact number means he went hungry and I have an extra burger that I didn't want. So yeah. Tasty food but probably not worth the stress if you have specific requests/intolerances.

These burgers are smaller than MacDonald, my son had a burned veg burguer. I had an burned chicken burger and my brother a burned cheeseburger. The food does not bring any thing like the pictures. Terrible. Not worthy, shame on you.

Ordered a burger, chips and 2 drinks. I only got the burger which was pretty decent, just not worth being ripped off for.

Took 2 hours from ordering and the restaurant was still "Preparing" the order via Uber Eats. Do NOT touch this place unless you want to wait hours for your order. Ended up cancelling and will not be going anywhere near it again.

Just got confit garlic cheeseburger with garlic mayo chips and drink. Burger was very juicy and tasty, the meat was of a good quality for sure. I appreciate the extra portion fries👌👌 Great value for money too

10/10 never had sobe before this is close to my area gave it a go and so happy with it chips are perfect not to much salt not too little, burger were lovely meat was fresh and cooked well bun was delicious, not greasy at all, didn’t feel bloated after just well fed ! 10/10 highly highly recommend will defo order again

I just don’t get why this place has this low rate. I’ve been doing my work during years trying to find really good burgers in London and this place is one of them. I don’t think that reviews match the reality but just saying that I ordered 3 times in one week. My favorite is the confit garlic, just insane. The fries are really crunchy and tasty which is hard to find specially if you order though delivero. It didn’t take that long to arrive as others says. They also wrap the burgers in one of those papers which make the cheese to be melted and omg if I keep writing I’m gonna order another one. Just try it!!!

We ordered a beef burger and a vegan burger with fries. It was decent. The burgers were juicy and well cooked. The fries were delicious.

Burger was pretty decent, meat a little bitty but nothing major. The sauces are a win - truffle and the confit garlic are so moreish. The loaded truffle fries are so good. Would order again but it’s not an outstanding burger, at least not the branch I ordered from

Quick delivery on deliveroo, great communication (the person answering the phone actually knew what gluten free means and was able to help us out), and amazingly tasty food. Definitely will be ordering again!

The food looked amazing so me and the partner thought we’d try this place. But, disappointed and disgusted is an understatement! The chicken was well under cooked. As a food rating of 5 you would think that the food would be cooked properly. This is not safe to be served to the public!!

First time ordering here & I won’t be re ordering again. I ordered 2x vegan bacon burgers. Both came with a vegan sticker on the front of the box but real bacon & cheese in the burger & it also came with a hair… for some reason it isn’t allowing me to upload my photos.

Ilford ghost kitchen: only offers water, coke and sprite as drinks. That's ridiculous. The food was actually decent, but expand the drink offering, it's not hard, and makes a big difference to the meal. Called the customer service and guy was abrupt and unwilling to do anything: "these are the only drinks we offer, whatever is on the internet". When I told him it's just Sprite and Coke, he said: "sorry, that's all we have". I just find that ridiculous.

The burger taste ok, but I ordered on Uber eats it looked really nice with pictures non seeded bread nice and brown bun when it came it was literally catfished .. got a ordinary seeded bun very stingy with sauce hardly any . But it did taste ok.

Just to preface this, I ordered SoBe burger on deliveroo locally but its not coming up on google reviews... Anyway, its a chain, so my experience should be similar to others. Rating: 2/10 Pros: - Quick Delivery - Good presentation, the burger looked hella good - Its relatively cheap Cons: - Oh my god this burger did not taste anything like it should have. I ordered the Confit Garlic Cheeseburger with SoBe Hot Fries. Its described as 2 beef patties, american cheese, crispy onions, confit garlic mayo and a toasted bun. There was no garlic flavour whatsoever. Nothing, not a trace of garlic in there. - The burgers felt heavy and really greasy to me, even if it doesn't really look like it, it didn't taste right - I disliked the meat texture, it should be a normal and smooth but this was a bit rough and chewy/grainy? - It was hella salty, again this was genuinely hard to finish. The lack of vegetables didn't help in terms of texture- as usually you have a crunch of a lettuce or something. The crispy onions were soggy when it arrived. - SoBe hot fries were undercooked, making it really unenjoyable and again something I couldn't eat I didn't finish anything I ordered from here, because it was just so bad. Would not order again from here.

don't go here on delivery, they obviously don't care for their customers as it took uber 1 hour to get to the restaurant for them to send out cold food to me. would of exspected them to recook the order when the driver arrived. was gonna be my first time trying here but can't try the food. won't be back anytime soon. I Opened the beef up to see if it was cooked properly but doesnt state on the menu that it can be served pink. i've just got my refund from uber but will not come to ur restaurants ever again.

The SoBe burger was nice but drenched in their sauce, which is essentially just a nicer version of the burger sauce you get everywhere, whereas I would’ve preferred to be able to taste more of the beef

Great to see a place that does both vegan and non-vegan options well. Can't say the same thing about nearby vegan specialist places (I'm looking at you, Oowee). Jaydon served us, he was hustling and made a storm of orders look easy even though they were clearly understaffed. Very friendly, his attitude will take him far.

Was visiting a friend in Dalston over the weekend and decided to order SoBe burger since they had both meat and vegan options (she's vegan, I'm not)- amazing! Love that all their burger can be made beef or vegan. Hot food and fast delivery!
