Ice.Box in Luton

There were two girls working in this shop. They provided us with very poor customer service; they didn't even say "Hi" or greet us. We even had to take our own menus and seat ourselves. We ordered a milkshake and a cookie dough, but both of them tasted bad and seemed to have gone bad.

Order waffle sticks and they were so doughy - waste of money! No customer service!

Accidentally gave bad review on other order but wasn’t this shop was some other dessert place sorry about that !! Apologies

Bought 3 gelatoes this careless member of staff plonked the ice cream half nearly falling off the cone and handed to me Then started serving someone else Then i had to say could you plz check this and finish serving me as if you dont do in one go the first ones will melt The 2nd customer looking at my ice cream also said yes please sort her order first as they were sitting He handed me 2 more not sorting the first one He had already taken 12 pounds payment As I walked out just outside the shop he was looking the last ice cream he had made rolled off and landed on the floor I walked back in but he walked towards the back I told him even though he was watching He replied we don't do ice creams like that not my fault You will have to pay extra if you want any more I was still in shop walking out and the second ice cream fell off the cone As I asked him to look he smirked at me I just walked out disgusted with his service This member of staff was rude arrogant no customer service skills

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE, STAFF IS RUDE AND INCAPABLE OF GETTING ORDERS RIGHT ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS.

We ordered a scoop of ice cream and a milkshake and they said it was £10 when online it was much cheaper, then we went inside and we were given a singular useless dirty tissue that had been used and the guy carelessly dumped the ice cream into the cone. We went back inside to get a new tissue and the guy was being rude and muttered something rude at us. Because he dumped the ice cream in the cone, the whole ice cream scoop fell off the cone and onto me without me moving it and it was standing up straight and slipped off. Food was also bad. Don’t come here ever it’s so trash people are rude and need to learn how to put ice cream in a cone properly.TRASH PLACE ITS SO BAD NEVER COME TO THIS TRASHY PLACE ITS SO LAME GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TRASH

Great place to visit for an indulgent dessert! Nice seating inside.

No cup carrier tray was given and shakes leaked in the bag

Really nice atmosphere and decor however I found the staff member unhelpful no welcoming and no menu I had to get up and get it myself . I got a mango mojito and that definitely wasn’t a proper mango mojito it was just abit of mango flavoured syrup added to my drink could hardly taste mango so I had to complain she added more but even then there was hardly any taste . The cookie dough was lovely tho nice food but wouldn’t get drinks from here again

The dessert itself was good however I took half an hour for our food to come and some people who came after us were served first instead of us also the music choice was horrendous as inappropriate rap music with explicit language was being played while kids were present and my elderly mother who is religious so I found that very distasteful indeed and will not be returning again.

Desserts taste expired and nasty stay away from this dusty place.

The service is too slow I ordered 4 waffles by the time the second one came the first one was finished and we waited for the rest to come by that time all the ice cream turned to milk Staff have no idea their uniforms are very dirty the floor, tables and even the menus are sticky If you have spent that much on your business please ask your staff to dress clean and wash their aprons and their hejabs should be all tidy not that their scarves are hanging on two sides

One of the best place for mojito. I love their red bull mojito with strawberry. Must recommended.

Ordered 2 milkshakes both of the milkshakes were nasty just tasted like pure milk in there no Ice cream what so ever and the girl who made it didn't have a clue what she was doing NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN!!

We drove all the way from aylesbury to have good icecream. Not all items in the menu were available, so we tried normal faluda. Ferraro sundae and cookie dough. All were nice, can't say which one is best. Not too much sweet, just the balance taste of icecream. Also, i think Price is fine as well. Will visit again

Milkshakes are 👌👌... shame there was no cream on top though!

1st time ordereing here... Milkshakes are delicious delivery took abit longer then stated when placed order. milkshakes were worth the wait but the donuts arent good

unfortunately the mohitos especially mint were just subpar. especially for the OG of luton desserts - needs major work. flooda was amazing as I'm sure other desserts are. just don't offer mohitos if they are not good

This is not a dig at Icebox they are hats off the best desert place in burypark, however was disgusted by a staff member. We ordered 2 x large ferrero rocher milkshakes over the phone and the girl who took the order prepared 2 x regular. Absolutely fine mistakes can be made no big deal here, however she stared us dead in the eyes and lied to us in our faces saying they were large when asked. We then showed her the large cup on the table which was clearly bigger than the ones she gave us. She then got embarassed and we said its okay, we don't mind, how much were we charged? She said we were charged for regulars. Regular ferrero milkshake costs £4, we were charged £9.50 for 2. So she had the audacity to lie to us twice. Why would you convince us that they are large ? But then tell us don't worry you have been charged for regulars? This was a muslim hijabi girl aswell. Date and time of transaction was 03/03/24 @ 10.00 pm for the manager if hes reading this to give her some feedback on not lying.

I ordered from just eat and used my stamp card and they accepted the order then few min later they cancelled the order and I ordered 2 times and keep cancelling the order and will not order from there again

The experience was alright. It looks like that they are short staffed as both staff members were really struggling to take orders and serve the customers.

Still serving the best milkshakes in Luton. The consistency is always perfect. Milkshakes are excellent ! Team member recommended the Lion Coconut flavour which was amazing. Generous serving of soft serve ice cream and chocolate bar making it the perfect consistency.

Staff are rude. Been here twice now to just check. You place your order. No "thank you" or "take a seat we will bring it over" just no manners in general. And card payments take extra without informing the paying customer. It's just basically somewhere to "hang out" with other people here but none of them are ordering. Toilets are always out of order it's now just storage for the shop. Also obviously no parking. And to inform anyone it's not wheelchair friendly

Ordered ferro roche milkshakes and was not nice at all there was no ferro roche bits inside tastes off and not fresh at all. On top of that they took 20 mins to prepare such a small orders when it was not busy.

the scenery is nice but the service was awful, don't even get me started on the food! I had a strawberry cookie dough and the icecream was more of a milkshake! we even had to get our own menus!!! NEVER AGAIN

Bel endroit pour un goûter en famille ou avec des amis, décor bien pensé et très fleuris. Nous avons consommé des milkshkes , le service était un peu lent mais nous n'étions pas pressés. Les goûts des glaces et milkshakes proposés sont divers , pas naturel mais bien aimé par les enfants. Trop de sucre de toute façon.

Normally this is my go to but I am disappointed today due to the milkshakes having hardly any taste and paying £5 for 3 scoops and receiving tiny scoops (kids sizes) , hopefully next time is better :(

We ordered a traditional falooda which was meant to be pistachio icecream. It was definitely vanilla icecream with pistachios in it. I didn’t like it. Delivery and quality was fine but didn’t like the falooda. Didn’t come as described. Sorry.

Delivery guy was awesome! Waited for me to come back to my flat as an earlier order wouldn't try to find my flat so I had to walk to the other side 9f town and back

Waffles were good and the quality of ice cream seemed decent. Very often places use cheap tasteless ice cream because they think customers don't know better. But the desert quality was really good here.

This is a nice place for decent desserts. Love what they have done with the decor recently and I love the shakes they do. A nice little place to chill with the family and have a nice dessert.

Have ordered from this shop several occasions, and couldn’t be more happier, driver is absolutely amazing, the food is outstanding and my go to desert shop in Luton. Highly recommend.

Ordered waffles. The waffles were crumbling. Not enough sauce on the waffles.

I made a collection, and went there to collect it after the 15 minute cooking time and ready to collect shown in the website. When I reach the till, I was asked to wait for a customer who was behind me. I feel me being discriminated, after that when I shown them the order, they said the item is not available. I paid for something, if it was out of stock, the shop had the obligation to contact me at the earliest but they made them to come down to their shop for this disappointment. So I choose not to buy anything from this place anymore. The review is solely based on the attitude of the service person(s).

Milkshakes are always consistently good. Mojito was enjoyed as was the cookie dough. Great customer service on delivery. Best dessert place in Luton. Delivery or eating in, cannot be beaten.

Nice decor but was a bit disappointing that milkshake came in a normal take away cup even though we ate in. For the price you pay would expect a nice reasonably sized milkshake glass when you dine in.

Decor is lovely and staff are polite and efficient. I ordered a kulfa falooda and it was delicious. The menu is huge, with so many varieties of shakes, etc. I'd recommend a visit.

The mojito was not nice first of all after they call me to tell me there no pomegrante do ask lemon did super-sized but gave large , gave me only 1 mojito strawberry so call them I order 4 stareberry mojito and in 15 mins got the 3 strawberry mojito and all the mojito there was no mint strawberry just lemon and juice this is worst mojito I ever have but the milkshake was really nice

The menu is ridiculously big, but didn't disappoint, the chocolate brownie was amazing, and the waffles were just as good, keeping in mind I took them home to eat.

The place has been refurbished and it looks sick. Only setback is that the areas really small so seating can be hard to find. But saying that the quality has improved since the last time i visited which was a long time.

I've been coming here for years, I came from far to see my old mum for iftar... she loves their milkshake.... Poor brother just opened fast enjoying the calm before the storm... I didn't even know they weren't open yet but the bother served me regardless. Amazing!!! My retired/old mum didn't have to wait long after opening fast thanks to him and she loved the milkshake, thank you 👌

The new decor is impressive and staff are friendly. However the milkshakes just taste like vanilla milkshake as there's hardly any chocolate in it. Waffles are dry, again because there's hardly any chocolate sauce on it. Cookie dough was very thin and hard. Falooda was decent but hardly had vermicelli in it.

I went to Icebox on their opening day. The interior was stunning, I love how they did a whole revamp and the telephone booth for pictures is really cute. I really enjoyed the skittles milkshake. Would deffo recommend 🥰

Very rude, speak to customers in a very bad way and when u make complaint and turn it over and say that is not true! There were pieces of glass in the milkshake and he did not own up and totally denied it.Will never go back again!

Very rude, they haven't got a clue about customer service! Can't even get orders right, even the customers who were infront of me had to repeat their orders 5 times and another customer had to help out. If you want a friendly place to go to get served and spend your hard earned money, avoid this place and go to somewhere like Dessert Island on Biscuit Road where they will be more efficient and customer focused.

It's actually quite decent, worth a try

This place used to be my favourite. However, the last few times I've ordered it was a horrible experience. Ice cream sundaes took an hour and half to arrive twice! Both times having to make phone calls to chase them up, at which point, they realised there was an order! It'd be quicker to make ice cream at home!

Had the worst experience ever! Ordered here through uber eats only for my order to be cancelled for no reason at all without giving me any updates! I suspect it was because I used my student discount code. Plus/ they didn't refund my money. GREEDY UNPROFESSIONAL ANIMALS After reading the reviews , thank God my order wasn't accepted as I found out that they use their dirty hands to make the food without wearing any gloves. I would've been sick if I had eaten their garbage. A blessing in disguise. SO UNHYGIENIC AND DISGUSTING

You could travel to the other side of the country and back, you could even go sleep and wake up the next day and your food still wouldn't arrive any earlier!!! It would be nice if they could pick up their phones too just to have an idea of what's going on but nah It's still not even here yet and it's almost closing time

Very poor service ordered at 8.10pm and food still hasn’t arrived its now 10pm they do not answer there phones, they called from a mobile and said it will be with you in 30 mins over an hour ago, will never order from here again, dont waste your time

Bad customer service, told us to wait outside and people who came after us stayed inside the shop. They started taking their order, when I rang them they hung on me.
