Pepe's in Luton

It seems like someone had poured a whole bottle of sauce. Other customer have had the same experience. Do not waste your money going here

Would put 0 stars if it was an option absolutely embarrassing! Ordered from Uber eats it just arrived in an absolutely joke of a state. All the sauces were leaking and soaked the bag. Not only that the fries were not fresh: hard and cold and even found a long piece of a hair inside with it. The driver not knowing a single word of English apart from “sorry” didn’t even help at all although on the app it showed that he can speak English which turned out to be a lie! Tried calling the driver unfortunately uber didn’t connect us with the driver also called pepe’s no one picked. Waited an hour for this never again!

they sent food out really fast. but chicken flavour wasn’t hot was mild food was cold pepa have really dropped standards really bad i generally spend around 100 pound plus with them a week as my son me eat with them on regular lately they have been sending food out early been cold. not happy

Had a worse experience got food today was chicken box and steak burger they put so much sauce in the box leg was not well cooked so they put so much sauce in it

Food is literally good but staff behavior is too awful they don’t know how to talk to a customer , even peoples who deliver theirs food to customers they talk very rudely with them

Food was great. Though it took a while, we visited at 10pm on a Saturday, so the delay can be forgiven.

I always order the chicken and rice box from this pepes. It's my favourite meal of all time.

We group of friends having our meal and suddenly one delivery driver came in as he is fully wet in rain and was waiting for more than 5mins. The driver asked for order but the staff started arguing with driver and as there manager also walked towards to delivery driver and started arguing with him. The said get out of my resturant. Dear store manager you are supposed to stop the argument and respect delivery drivers because they work as customer representatives. Dear manager If any customer argues for late order will do the same with customers and ask them to leave the restaurant.?.You should keep the restaurant as a happy & peaceful place. I hope u make sure this should not repeat and respect the delivery drivers please.

Pepes definelty used to be good for their quality in food. However, for the last few times we've ordered (takeaway) quality has significantly gone down. Initially, we had a couple of burnt chicken burgers/wraps, or there was not enough sauce, so it ended up being quite dry. However, on more than one occasion, we have found the chicken to be raw. I'm not sure if management has changed, but perhaps better staff training is needed to ensure food is cooked. Edit in reply to owner: How can I speak to a member of staff if it's takeaway, unless you're willing to pay for my fuel to drive back to you and then back home...

Chips were really old and stale and very overcooked . Some of them even hurt the inside of my mouth .

I’ve always ordered my food from Pepe but it’s been a while as there chilli sauce has changed & food is off putting now. Plz get the chilli sauce back so that I can start ordering. You are loosing customers because of this. Plz look into getting sauce back to it’s original as this chilli sauce is disgusting

I'm a regular customer and order most weeks food is always delicious and good portions. last couple of orders the portion sizes are really decreasing. the quesadillas used to be full of chicken but they were very thin tonight. there was also an offer to get a free 100ml ben & Jerry's when you spend over £25. it arrived like chocolate soup. probably where it had been left with hot food in the bag so had to bin it.

Pepe’s food is consistently awful, no matter which branch / location you visit. Ordered a few things from here and the price to quality was below substandard. The chicken wasn’t fresh, there was a massive overflow of sauces, the chicken wasn’t marinated and the over quality was very poor. The salad was a joke, nothing was fresh. They charge you a ridiculous price for extra sauces and then end up forgetting to put them in the bag too. The price was extortionate compared to some of the other competitors located within close proximity. I’d highly advise avoiding this place and trying one of the other reputable shops if, like me, you’re visiting Luton and have to grab a bite to eat.

Worst experience, ordered over the phone for delivery and it was quite late and coming to the wings which I ordered is worthless, spend £22 for 28 wings almost 1 quid for wing got only bones not chicken flesh,rather buying from you I can buy raw chicken and make myself. Never buy again with you. Whoever trust me please don’t buy from here(wings).

Just had worst wings of my life ever, paid 7.50 for six wings and chips which went straight to bin never ever recommend to anyone.

You gave a wrong time came way to early i wasnt even home. The chips were old and nasty just heated up. The sauces tasted like water. Absolutely disgusting. I wish i never ordered i want my money back

They completely ignored what i wrote on notes, that i wanted all chillis replaced for garlics and made it clear that all sauces should be garlic sauce. They havent made this mistake before but today they completely ignkred it and i had to have my fokd with only 2 garlic sauces when it should have been 4. Lets not forget that its 0.50p for one eztra sahce so i technically payed a £1 for something i did not want

delicious food as always. we had the hot and spicy quesadilla and mango and lime chicken nachos. food delivered really quickly ahead of expected delivery time. our favourite place for take away.

The food and service here is awful. I ordered a family platter and the staff said it will take 15 minutes. 30 minutes had passed and no sign of food, I approached the counter and staff said its still cooking, they rushed so much and gave me the peri chicken like it was a chicken curry. It had so much sauce and looked like a chicken curry and nothing like grilled chicken. I will never be going back there again and my advice to anyone is not worth going there and spending money when there are other peri chicken places to eat at.

my nephew ordered the mango and lime loaded nachos. they were absolutely delicious and very generous toppings. I had the chicken quesadilla in hot. again so delicious loads of chicken in the filling. my new favourite. chips were great as always too.

I ordered a solo platter and was missing the wings. Poor show lads. I always like to give second chances so I’ll have the same again tomorrow, and if the wings (and today’s sadly absent wings) are not involved, I will dedicate my life to avenge this travesty. Good day.

I eat veg burger from pepe , i said spicy they did not make spicy, so tasteless ever i had, too much oilyyyyyy...i have haedache because of its really too oily aalo tikki My personal experience about food is really very bad, no doubt staff member are nice.

The wings are tiny, not at all like the the picture.

The service is always excellent. But the food has gone down so much. The chicken XL is a mini XL now. The chicken fillet is tiny and they fill it upto the brim with lettuce. I understand the cost has gone up but you can easily put the price up by 1 or 2 pound rather then decreasing quality of food.

Absolutely loved my whole chicken meal from Pep's Piri Piri in Luton! It was spot on—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Honestly, it was top-notch, mate. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. Cheers!

Poor quality of food from choice of chicken, steaming and then grilling. Chicken is over aged, hard & even after frill its reddish from inside. No recommended to anyone.

The quality of the food I received was shockingly poor. Firstly, the chips included in my order were served cold, indicating a lack of attention to detail in food preparation. Additionally, the burger I received appeared to have been severely mishandled, as it looked flattened and distorted, resembling something that had been stepped on rather than carefully crafted. Moreover, I paid for a Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream (465ml), expecting a delicious treat to accompany my meal. However, upon opening the packaging, I was appalled to discover that the ice cream was outdated and the container was extremely dirty, suggesting that it had been previously melted and refrozen. This level of negligence in food handling is utterly unacceptable and raises serious health concerns. Despite not physically dining in at your establishment, the substandard quality of the food I received reflects poorly on your restaurant's reputation. I have documented evidence of these issues through photographs, and I intend to escalate this matter to Trading Standards UK. No customer should be subjected to such a disgusting and unsanitary dining experience, whether dining in or ordering delivery.

Horrible. Staff doesn’t know how to cook and pack the stuff. By the time my food was delivered, my burger was destroyed and was not even worth to eat. Burger was rapped in such a way that one side was completely sticking to paper. Wont order next time. They did replace it by sending new one- but wasted my time.

Make a order from the app staff don't listen when you don't want something and just add it you make a complaint and all they say is sorry the staff is new then order again another time and still the same and don't listen won't be ordering again will be using the one at chaple street as at least they get my order correct

Which person in their right mind fills a bag with sauce and then puts pitta bread and chicken in there? It was inedible, the sauce was so thick and salty, couldn’t even feed my dog the chicken.

Found something with thorns in my burger. It made the inside of my mouth swollen. I want a refund. Imagine a small child ate that burger. The staff should look at what they’re putting into the burgers. Disappointed.
