Saw that the the team were doing Friday late and thought we'd pop in last night. Arrived at 615pm and whilst no one sat down there was a couple groups chatting near the bar. Asked at the bar if we could see the drinks list and after some confusion told" sorry we're closed , not enough customers so we've closed early" . A big sign board outside says open till 10pm Friday, all the lights on and doors open staff behind bar....but we are closed

Came here for a coffee at 10:30 am. Waited 20 minute in a queue in the cold whilst two staff moved like snails between the bar and coffee machine. When we got to end of queue, turned out the group before us had cleared out all the good cakes and there was allegedly a backlog of 40 customers which the staff said they had to serve. So told us to wait 10 minutes for coffee. Only crappy doughnuts left on counter. Nowhere else to get to quickly so forced to remain. Never again.

The food was really good. Our group had the turkey (fantastic) and burger which was also very nice. Starters were delicious too. Wine a bit expensive though. The place itself was calm and great ambience. Great for a quiter dinner with friends. A big shout out to Hugo. Great guy, very attentive and charming. He kept an eye on the diners and was so helphul. Shame about the other waiters that stood around in the bar area chatting not noticing our table waving to them as we wanted to pay our bill. Hugo noticed even though he was busy and sorted us out. The bill having already been calculated for split payments. Genius idea and so obvious. When you go to eat there ask for Hugo. Cant wait to go back.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ealing Broadway, you can find this veritable oasis of tranquillity and charm in Walpole Park. Its elegant yet understated setting is matched by a corteous yet welcoming service and a good selection of dishes. On a quiet Wednesday afternoon we enjoyed a fantastic and colourful butternut squash salad and a Caesar salad and shared a slice of homemade cake, a very moist coffee and orange cake, I think. The espresso was very good too, and (believe me!) I can prove a very difficult customer to please when it comes to coffee! The excellent and friendly service by Simone completed our experience. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing place where to meet a friend, carry out some work, take the children after school for a run in the park and a substantial slice of homebaked cake... this is the place for you. I'll be back. Definitively with the same dear friend and hopefully with my family!

We were served by Simone, who was polite, knowledgeable, fun and attentive to just the right degree. The decor is a bit unusual but the furniture is comfortable to sit on and we liked the style. The food was good too: each of our 3 courses was delicious, without the portions being overly large. 3 courses with wine, drinks and coffees came to just under £100, including service, which was good value. We’ll visit again!

The Soane’s Kitchen restaurant has had a little chequered history since it opened 3 years ago. First operators were a light on food and heavy on price. Lockdown. Now rebirth. That it’s Ealing’s best location for a restaurant is not in doubt. Now the food and service matches. Ourselves and another couple had the nduja scotch eggs, cauliflower soup and liver terrine. Really delicious. For main we had lamb rump, sea bass and chicken. 1. Amazing flavours. Beautifully cooked 3. Lovely service 4. Gorgeous location with the fold back doors open out onto the garden and diners outside enjoy the balmy September weather. Our guests from outside Ealing were blown away. Having had dinner at the Ivy Cafe in Richmond and Dean St Brasseri in Soho in the prior couple of weeks, Soane’s won hands down on incredible food and better value for money. Let’s help keep this gem going!

We had high hopes for this place, you’d consider the setting and think it was relatively high end but in actuality it leaves you wanting more. The service was nice but the food is bland, unseasoned and unimaginative and more similar to what you’d expect at a cheap canteen. £30 for the most medocre brunch in Ealing.

Recently had a dinner with a group of friends at Soane's. The word on the street was that post Covid it was a very different establishment to its pre Covid existence in terms of the food and service. So glad we booked. We had a really lovely meal and the food/service was very good. The reason for the change we discovered is Sebastian the new General Manger, who is passionate about every facet to the customer experience. He really is determined to provide excellence and his staff definitely achieved the night we were there. So delighted this wonderful building and garden vista now have food/service to match. We will be back.

Although the restaurant was short staffed , you would not know it as they worked extremely hard to ensure everything was laid out according to my daughter & son in laws instructions. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. The food was excellent and setting was beautiful over looking the walled garden- perfect for a wedding. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any event.

The service was excellent and the front team were delightful. Sadly the food and presentation was disappointing. Our starters were very small and tasteless. I was recommended to try the hamburger, but they had sold out. I had the chicken with steamed green veg instead which cost £18.50.. Again, tasteless and overpriced. Sorry Soane Kitchen..

Went for Saturday brunch and enjoyed the meal but disappointed at the price. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers, main course and dessert each with only 2 alcoholic drinks yet the bill was £122.Avocado with the bacon sandwich is £3 extra and I expected it in the sandwich but instead there was a small pot with no more than half smashed avo in it.The kids meal doesn’t include dessert or drink. The food is good but in no way is it good enough to justify the price.

Lunch on a gloomy January day was a wholly unexpected treat. Wide range of dishes, with vegetarians or Vejanuarians well served across the whole menu. Friendly and punctilious service even when they were coping with two large lunch parties. Straightforward dishes, well cooked and unfussily presented. Enterprising wine list at sensible prices. This is a lovely space with super friendly staff however our lunch was pretty awful today. We had the salt baked celeriac salad (perhaps two pieces max) and the butternut squash risotto. The celeriac had all the ingredients of a great salad but the portion was so so small. It is not lunch nor does it require any great baking skill. The risotto portion was poor too and undercooked but the flavours were good. Looking at tables next to us it seems that the all day Brunch is the way to go with beautifully cooked poached eggs/smashed avocados. Come on! Size up your lunch dishes, if you lead with celeriac....lead with it. It's not an expensive ingredient, nor is it difficult to cook. Why not add some bread to that dish too and a bit more dressing? Disappointing.

Saturday night dinner with friends. We know the restaurant and have been a few times. Previously it was excellent. The food still is, the service not so much. Rushed, brusque, lacking attention and customer friendliness. In addition, the bubbly served was flat and the servings very small. At £10.50 a glass that’s a bit much. The place was very quiet, not many customers and at 11pm we were asked to leave because they wanted to close ! Generally, the management was rather unprofessional, trying to be friendly but unprofessional. It is a good restaurant where the food is excellent. Please sort out your service and management.

3rd visit now and although staff are great and venue beautiful the food is below average. This will be my last visit. It’s bland and a bit misleading when it comes to children meals. The shashuka is essentially tin tomatoes, no flavours. The truffle mushrooms were not bad on my visit. This visit - they’re pretty bland - no punch to them so I left half. The pasta and tomato sauce was for children hadn’t been heated through properly but in short tastes like penne with tomato sauce from a baby food jar

This restaurant has a lot of potential, however I wouldn't return after a first visit today. Pros: - the food was great - warm greeting and happy staffCons: - when we arrived early, there were very few other customers, however we were left sitting with the menus for a very long time while 3 waitresses were at the other side of the restaurant all together talking, it took ages to get their attention - The teapots we were served tea in had deep tea stains and one of them had multiple large chips, before we noticed any of that, we noticed the tea tasted very odd. We have never complained once anywhere that the tea was tasting off, but today this was mentioned to the waitress, literally nothing was done about it. Not even a sorry. When the bill arrived, we mentioned about the tea not being right (and that this had been raised early on) and instead of accepting this the waitress smelled the tea and said it was fine and that she couldn't smell anything wrong with it, well no - you'd have had to taste it!, she also said that the tea couldn't expire. It wasn't about the tea being past an expiration date, it was that it tasted horrible. She proceeded to charge us anyway we had to request for it to be taken off the bill, it seemed like a massive hassle and it was only then we noticed the gross teapot with chips under the lid, the odd taste was almost certainly from the pot, so disappointing over something that so easily could have been rectified early on when the restaurant wasn't even busy.

Today was a lovely day so during my walk in the park I thought I would stop for a drink and a snack. A very nice man took my order and a lovely girl brought my very tasty Elton mess and water. So far so good. Then my black coffee arrived. It had a scum on the top and bits floating in it. I could not drink it so I told the person who seemed to be in charge that their coffee machine needed cleaning and frankly he could not cared less. Needless to say I will not give them another chance..

We went with friends for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. I checked the website beforehand to ensure there was plenty of choice on the menu. When we arrived we were told that the menu was reduced as it was a holiday Monday - this was not mentioned on the website. Never mind. We struggled to find something substantial to order that wasn't brunch-like or a burger (particularly as I have a cheese allergy) and came up with a chicken Caesar salad for which we asked for a French dressing rather than the usual dressing. No, couldn't do that (really?!) so we had a kind of vinaigrette which was pleasant but not spectacular. To start we had a very good homemade hummus and then ordered 'nuts and nibbles' - well, we got the nibbles but were told they were out of nuts (huh!) having already been told they were out of olives. Not good enough. Dessert was Eton Mess - no, it wasn't - it was a meringue basket with fruit on top - nice but not a Mess! As this was our first visit to Soane's we were naturally disappointed as, in terms of ambience, it is lovely. One big plus was our charming Italian waitress. We hope to go again when maybe they are better organised.

We booked our office summer lunch with Soane's Kitchen and from start to finish everything was perfect. We arrived to prosecco on the door, served by smiling staff, (which is something that is often missing) the food was exceptional, the venue beautiful and the staff delightful. There were 64 of us for lunch and the event was overseen by Zoe from Social Pantry who operate the restaurant, I can't speak highly enough of her for rolling with changing numbers, late busses and the party drinking nearly their whole stock of coffee patron! She was professional and charming throughout. I'd also like to mention the General Manager Ronnie, who kept us well stocked with beverages and who was wonderfully patient as the afternoon wore on and some guests became more high maintenance, he even kept us supplied with H2o after the guests had left to the nearby parkland. Finally Sam made sure all of the guests made it safely to the beautiful park next door as they left and he was courteous and helpful thought. I would recommend Soane's kitchen to anyone wanting to plan a large event, the service was slick and intuitive and the communication from the whole team was excellent.I have worked in hospitality in central London for over ten years and there are plenty of Mayfair restaurants who's professionalism would not compare to the staff at soanes kitchen and Social Pantry. Great visit to Soanes kitchen on a Friday evening. We had 2-1 cocktails in the beautiful garden where we had attentive table service. We then moved inside and had a very tasty meal. The recommended wine was wonderful and the food was excellent. I had the crab tacos to start which are generously portioned and taste amazing. Followed with the pea and mint risotto which was creamy and perfectly cooked. I’ve been to Soane’s a number of times and enjoyed the food but my complaint has always been the bad service but on this recent visit service was perfect. Our orders were taken promptly, plates cleared and we never had to wait to get someone’s attention if needed. We were asked regularly if we needed anything and were asked how we enjoyed our meal at the end. All the staff were friendly and genuinely welcoming. Evidently the place has a new manager and it really shows. I hope people will give Soane’s another try. I’ve been here a couple of times. The setting is perfect, next to Walpole Park, and the decor is beautifulHowever, the reason it’s got 2/5 is that the service, if well meaning, is disorganised, the menu is limited & overpriced A dish from the Children’s menu is £7.50. My children ordered sausages & mash. They got a giant portion of mash, served on a dish a little larger than a saucer, with one small sausage squashed on the side, with no gravy. It was so poor it was laughable I think Soane’s could be the best loved restaurant in Ealing if it tried a bit harder, but I’m not sure they can be bothered

Ate from the brunch menu and our group enjoyed smashed avocado, shakshuka and the scrambled eggs. Portions were reasonable and the consensus was that the food was nicely spiced. There was a good selection of cakes which we thought looked better than they tasted. We liked the overall ambience and service was extremely friendly and attentive. Main drawback was due to the building’s construction that when it is busy the noise levels are high.

Friendly service and very good food. I had the 'superfood salad' which was varied and tasty and did not involve a chewing marathon as do so many superfood salads! We arrived after the lunchtime rush, and were looking forward to a relaxing time and a good meal . We ordered a bottle of Rose which when it came was not properly chilled, something that bemused the waiter, and also some ice which we had to ask two different people for twice. To be fair the food was of a good standard, tasty and well presented. However we then ordered coffee which arrived and a desert, an ice cream, which failed to arrive. After twenty minutes of no ice cream we realised there were no staff in the restaurant and I had to call out through the kitchen door.If this restaurant got its serving of wine correct ,and improved its service in down time I would rate it higher.

I live in Ealing and was looking forward to a new venue. The space and location are lovely but it is such a shame the owner of the restaurant seems to be confused about the concept....is this a restaurant or an event catering company because the latter seems to take priority and customers do not seem to be important. It seems rather unusual that the restaurant times are restricted for dinner and I had to ring up to find out if we would be asked to leave at nine as the website states this is the last order. I booked a table and we were put in a cramped corner so asked if we could move as there were lots of tables free. We were initially told we could not as the other tables were booked but these imaginary customers never appeared whilst we were there. We insisted but waited ages for a response and in the mean time saw walk in customers being seated without a booking at the table we had requested. We finally were allowed to move but I had to complain to the manager. I know other people who have had similar experiences. The food was very good and the redeeming feature. The service did improve from then. However, having tried eating here again, the attitude of the establishment and the lack of customer consideration puts me off. I do not blame the staff but the owner needs to be committed to running a proper restaurant which is customer focused rather than concentrating on running events.. The place was three quarters empty on a Saturday night, lacked ambience and nearing 10pm we started to feel we should go as the place seemed ready to close. Please reflect and listen to customer feedback as this is the path to success.

Stoped here for lunch earlier this week. Served by a tall gentleman in a striped shirt. Sat outside. All fine to start with other than the wait to be greeted.Received menus and ordered drinks. When said waiter came back to take a food order he asked us what we would like to drink. We have already ordered I said (with you). At that point I was concerned there may be a delay if the order was not in and with my two year old long waits are not ideal. Instead of replying appropriately he became argumentative and said he had 70 people to serve so how could he possibly know if we had ordered drinks.1. Do not ever speak to a customer that way2. Don’t argue with a customer when they are calmly seeking more information3. There were perhaps 15 people in the place nowhere near 703. If you can’t manage service for that few people without becoming so stressed you forget your manners and training (if you had any) you are in the wrong trade.I am a fair person; the waiter came back subsequently to apologise which I appreciate. We decided not to stay for lunch despite having decided what we wanted. Who would we?Balans and 17 are both excellent with great menus, great food, great service and outdoor seating. This was a hugely disappointing experience and we won’t be back. One should never be spoken to in that manner.

We had a great meal here. Everyone agreed that the food was tasty and satisfying even for my husband's appetite. There was a good selection on the food and drink menu. We particularly liked the thyme infused gin coctail ( personal recommendation of our friendly host Anya). All the staff seemed very genuine and helpful. Service was good. The meals came pretty quickly despite the restaurant and the garden area being full. The ambience is fantastic, sort of big cafe style feel - so not cosy but good for groups probably. Unfortunately some of their choice in seating wasn't that comfortable. Our friends sat on a bench with some cushions, but it was too low to the table. We had the wooden chairs which were fine. We all agreed it would be a great place for brunch/lunch if you ate outside looking at the kitchen garden. We will certainly come again

Ok will start with the positives because to be fair it wasn’t all bad. Nice location, great open design kitchen, lovely outdoor seating. I get they are one of the nicer restaurants in Ealing.Food was REALLY nice, wine selection was brilliant. Cocktails were absolutely perfect. So we were a group of colleagues out for a meal on a Friday night. Yes, I will say we were fairly loud as we were a large group. After we had spent a FAIR amount of money on food and drinks, the waiter then comes over randomly and ASKS US TO LEAVE!!! This is unacceptable. No warning, no prior request to keep the noise down. He wasn’t even nice about it he was plain rude. He said another table complained... The other waitresses were fabulous but stripey-shirt male waiter was the one I was not happy with, otherwise would have actually been a 5* review! Retrain in customer service, Mister! If the table complaining didn’t like the noise surely there would have been another way to rectify this? Change their table? Offer them 10% off the bill? Ridiculous!I would return if it weren’t for this waiter, as the food was 10/10 but I shan’t out of the sheer principle: don’t be rude to your customers.

Had a very disappointing Saturday lunch. The menu was not the same as the one shown online (far fewer options); portions were small and prices high. The DJ playing lame Capital FM-style Friday night dance music was inappropriate, especially when he played a track by DNCE with the f-word in the chorus. Take a look at the crowd: multi-generation families, lots of grandparents, lots of kids. So misjudged. The kids' menu is appaling: three choices, none healthy or inspired, and the portion of 'penne with tomato sauce' was tiny. We left hungry. Not good at all.

We booked Soane's Kitchen as the venue for our summer ball. It's a beautiful location with lovely grounds and a good space inside for 100-odd people. Considering the fact that there were a number of drunk teenagers, the staff were on the whole good at handling rowdy guests without making too much of a fuss, though this was not always the case. That's about it for the positives of that evening. The issues we had in our event include but are not limited to:- The event was meant to start at 7pm but despite arriving at 7:30pm my friends and I were not allowed in because they "weren't ready yet" and were asked to wait outside for another 15+ minutes. - Further to that point, the event was scheduled to end at midnight but we were kicked out at 11:30pm. - We were asked to come inside (in some cases in a very rude manor with staff swearing and/or raising their voices at cooperating guests) at a particular point for noise-related reasons, which is absolutely fair, but created issues. The venue has no ventilation inside or windows that can be opened so the only way to cool off (which was necessary since we were there to dance) was to go outside; however, they would only let 10 people be outside at any one time and would not waver from this policy even when someone collapsed from the heat and someone else had a panic attack. The staff were extremely uncompromising and unhelpful in these cases and some were also rude. All guests were dripping with sweat once asked to come inside.- The canapés provided by the venue were of extremely poor quantity. Only a handful of people actually got to eat them. I was not one of these people so I can't comment on whether they were any good. Overall, I appreciate the stress that the staff were under when hosting this event but am extremely disappointed with how rude, unhelpful and uncompromising they were, and the fact that we paid for 5 hours in this venue but were only allowed there for less than 4. I would never recommend this venue for hosting events like a ball or prom.

The food was good, but our drinks took 20 minutes to arrive, by which point we’d finished eating. The staff were slow, inefficient and undertrained. Considering the prices, this was a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend - like another reviewer said, it’s all style over substance.

Lovely Instagrammable place but the brunch was super sub par. Rock hard unbuttered sourdough toast, tiny split poached eggs. Took ages to be served and for food to arrive - we were really hungry and would have complained but again...no one about. Didn't complain afterwards when it did arrive as it took so long that we ate it anyway! My bad.Shared a bottle of prosecco between 4, waiter came to top us up - filled two glasses to the brim, realised the bottle was empty and just walked off, leaving two of us with no drinks. It was just a bit weird! Again, lovely place with nice ambient DJ and nice for the 'gram - might go back for a drink but ...yeah not great to be honest.

Entering Soane's on a grey miserable day immediately changed my mood, we were greeted as we entered into the light pleasant surroundings which was busy with the young, old and families so very diverse. The food was imaginative and very tasty with ample portions, lots of variety to choose from which was all accompanied by attentive helpful service.Definitely recommend

What a stylish place and we very much appreciated the very nice service. Perhaps a board explaining whether you should take a seat at certain times and where to pay would help. I hope you can keep this up. If you want to see how poor a cafe in a superb modern setting can decline to, head for the Chiswick House Cafe. When public money and donations and grants have been given to provide such great buildings, it's a disgrace if the catering and toilet provision does have the right capacity, the right staff, the right spirit and right effort put into it. I shall look forward to going to Soane's Kitchen again to enjoy a proper meal, but the service was great just for a simple cup of coffee.

I so want this to be a gem for Ealing. Every time we stop for morning coffee it disappoints. Why? Essentially it isn’t well managed. The service is slow and we always have to go to the bar to pay our bill. we love to sit outside. After yesterday’s rain the sun was shining and it was warm. We asked for seats to be cleaned of water, which they were, but none of the other seats were prepared in advance for other customers ....so we watched as the same charade played out.On other sunny days people were asking for parasol with them being placed only on request not in advance.I suspect the staff don’t stay long as we don’t recognise them and they are always reactive rather than proactive, and are hesitant about using the payment readers. It is also card only which, if you don’t read the menu in advance could leave one in an embarrassing position. No one informs you of this before you pay.Why do we keep going? We so want it to succeed, being beside the fabulous Pitzhanger Manor, and it has the best location for outside coffee in Ealing. Please, please get a grip.

We first visited back when Soane’s opened, staff were delightful back then & even though food was average, after a chat with a manager it was somewhere my husband and myself had extreme hopes for as they worked out the initial ‘opening’ problems we heard about. Excited we went back this weekend for brunch ... sadly staff were not engaged and defiantly don’t care. Service was poor. Menu was tiny!!! And items sold out??? When our food finally arrived, it was cold bland and boring. Unfortunately this place has not grown into the incredible restaurant it had the potential to be.

For a very small menu and very high prices I was hoping that the food would be exceptional. Sadly, it was very very average and would have been steep at half the price. The shakshuka was basically boiled tomatoes with egg on top. Tasteless and a tiny portion. They had also run out of a lot of the other menu items which is bizzare given there are so few items to begin with. The cake was ok, but tiny slices and also vastly over priced. We will not be going back again.

I visited for brunch on a Saturday and was initially impressed that such a lovely, spacious place had opened in Ealing. Interiors were lovely, cakes on display looked delicious and the menu looked promising. Whilst I was waiting for my Friend, I saw the table next to me have multiple issues with their order and in trying to settle their bill and get service. I thought it would be a one off but then it was our turn...to get service to order was impossible - we had to get up to go over and ask someone if we could please order. Upon receiving my food, I immediately regretted getting the shakshuka: the sauce was bland and just had red peppers everywhere. My juice order was wrong and I just told them to not bother with fixing it because I didn’t want to wait for ages for that to be done. Overall - average food, definitely can be better. Service was hugely disappointing despite there appearing to be so many people around. It’s a shame as I said because I would have like to revisit but given this experience, I don’t see myself going back.

We decided to have a bite to eat after visiting Pitzhanger Manor. What a great space! The staff are excellent from the person at the door - charming and welcoming - to our waitress Milena who discreetly made sure we were topped up with water and anything else we needed. Between us we had hummus and sourdough toast (unfortunately there were no Padron peppers the day we were there), ham hock terrine - very flavoursome and substantial for a starter, chicory salad with a good dressing (yoghourt based I think) and a salt beef club bagel - all excellent. With a glass of wine each the bill was £40 which I think quite reasonable. I'd definitely recommend this little corner of Ealing.

We were greeted at the front door by a very well presented lady with short dark hair and an Eastern European accent (Anna?). She was smiling and friendly and took us to our very comfy table which was perfect for us to enjoy our coffee and cake together. She explained the menu and we quickly ordered our drinks. They arrived soon after and we then ordered the vanilla cheesecake with rhubarb. The drinks were great but the cheesecake was super creamy and to die for!! The rhubarb was a bit of a let down as there were only 3 pieces and it was very tart and under cooked. However the cheesecake was so worth it and the base was the perfect texture and taste. Would definitely recommend it. I have had lunch here before and it was very good. The menu seems to change regularly and the place was certainly full of people. Prices are reasonable and you can eat indoors or out. Plenty of staff also. We will definitely return!!

A small menu, focusing on 'brunch', even well into lunch time. Just four 'main course' items on the menu and they'd managed to run out of one of them by one thirty, even though a) we'd booked and b) they said nothing about the limited availability of this item when we sat down. Handled very badly by the manager when we complained: she just shrugged her shoulders and said 'it's a bank holiday' - which means they'd failed to take that into account when ordering for the kitchen. The dish I had instead was ordinary, not very tasty and overpriced.

4 of us came in for a lovely lunch at Soane's Kitchen on Friday. There is a new set lunch menu which is brilliant quality for money and features beautiful fresh mussels and sourdough! This went really well with a portion of triple cooked chips which we had on the side. I have been before for brunch and we loved the atmosphere which the plants and connection with the garden brings. This is going to be a perfect spot in summer for drinks and food in the walled garden. Ignore the bad reviews! We will be back.

We enjoyed a late lunch in this fairly new restaurant located in the garden beside the Soanes summer home museum. Modern, open and airy the ambience was bright and relaxed. Friendly service though somewhat slow. Menu was enjoyable and food nicely presented. Given the secluded and large walled garden setting they have missed a great opportunity to have outdoor patio seating for the restaurant; instead, the outdoor area has only picnic tables for visitors bringing their own food. Couldn’t the adjoining park have the picnic tables and keep the patio set aside for restaurant patrons? Easter weekend was beautiful, warm and sunny - perfect for outdoor dining; unfortunately, this restaurant was unable to oblige. Pity.

The good Friday fixed price menu was hiked by circa 50% after we had booked the table, so not a great start. Fixed menu choice was limited so went for the salt beef sandwich on the main menu. A spoonful of shredded beef on top of a slice of plastic cheese, a slice of tasteless beef tomato in a bagel accompanied by a small jar of egg yolk heavy sauce with a small bowl of chips. The chef should hang his head in shame for this poor offering. Service was slow and the coffee was tepid and had to be re-ordered. Will not be back.

We came for lunch here. The atmosphere is lovely, service very polite and attentive, but this restaurant needs to work on its menu. We went for bottomless brunch for a birthday celebration. The food was so bad we didn't even eat it. We ordered salt beef sandwich and a shakshuka. The salt beef sandwich wasn't actually salt beef, it low end packet deli meat thinly sliced. The shakshuka was flavoured only by nasty coriander. There was no cumin or other spices that should go in there. For whoever is in the kitchen cooking please go and see Selfridges for what a salt beef sandwich should be and Sunny Hill Cafe for what a shakshuka actually is. Sadly if I had of read TripAdvisor first I wouldn't have booked this restaurant. The March reviews are apparently not getting through to the owner or the chef.
