When the young staff finally served us (after tearing themselves away from their phones) they charged us twice after telling us it hadn’t gone through the first time (which it had) They called for a “supervisor” who was as much use as a pair of sunglasses on a man with 1 ear. He told us we hadn’t been charged twice (yes we had, it showed twice as paid on our banking app) and that it would just “sort itself out”. We were then told if it doesn’t sort itself out we should just pop back for a refund. When we informed him that we weren’t from the area, he told us we’d have to call head office then…….then he walked off

Disappointing. Went here last year and had pistachio ice cream; not much flavour and later had a stomach upset. Returned this April and bought an expensive small tub of banana flavour ice cream, but certainly didn't taste of banana. My partner loves their various cones, but I won't be partaking again.

Enjoyed at Dunham Massey. 3 sisters setting up an ice cream business locally run on solar energy - what’s not to love. As for coming up with the idea if Creme brûlée flavour - genius!

We go hear a lot over the summer months for the amazing creams and bit of a stroll around. Parking is fine but can be very busy hear, adults love the huge helpings and the little uns love it as it’s ice cream. OMG! This was the best decision I ever made to stop somewhere! Don’t drive past - go in! There are soooo many flavours to choose from - it’s difficult I warn you! BUT wow! The flavours are amazing! Best ice cream I have had in so long! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Parking easy and on site. All round lovely place!

Lovely rich fresh ice cream, the variety of ice cream flavours are amazing. We tried the Pumpkin spiced, Sloe & Gin, Ginger & Honey & they were yummy.

In the area with friends who know this place well. Wide choice of delicious ice creams. Very generous portions and felt to be good value. Would have liked napkins and spoons to be readily available with cornets as immediately started melting, so quite drippy down cornet/hand/front of shirt! Glad it wasn't a really hot day. If we'd been going home and had a freezer available, would have purchased some tubs to go home. Would be very happy to visit again; actually may insist on it next time we visit our Cheshire friends.

Visited yesterday as we were in the area. Agree with the comments of the reviewer from May who stated that the taste is not as good. I agree with them that the quality of the ingredients has dropped. Whilst the ice cream is the same, I had the honeycomb option and there was not even one small piece of honeycomb in it and absolutely no honeycomb taste. If I had not bought it myself I would have had no idea what the flavour was. We took it back to the car to eat as it started to pour with rain otherwise I would have returned to the shop and commented to them. Think we will be driving straight past when next in the area.

I always buy my ice cream from Snugburys. Today, after buying some tubs of ice cream I decided to try a milk shake from the pop up stall. There is a choice of vanilla, strawberry or chocolate. I had the strawberry one and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are, as always, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Amazing choice of flavours, we had cappuccino and it was excellent. Followed it with a coffee which was also top class. A little difficult to access on foot as no pavement on part of very busy A51.

What a totally gorgeous ‘find’. A walk along the canal was rewarded with 2 lovely ice creams. Even the drizzle didn’t dampen the visit and set us up for the walk back to Swanley.

We we’re staying in the area at Alvaston Hall and had driven past this place on trips out to Chester so decided to drop in one sunny afternoon. We were surprised to see how busy the place was for a Thursday afternoon. The choice of flavours available was mind blowing. If only you could have one of each but that would make for a very big ice cream cone 🤣. Very helpful and polite staff behind the counter. The giant bee sculpture out in the field was stunning. Only draw back we found was insufficient seating in the shaded areas of the courtyard. Would definitely recommend a visit here though if in the area.

Overpriced and not very flavoursome ice-cream, if you want a nice drive into the country buy your ice-cream from the stores, this is not very nice at all a big rip off really

My family have been coming to Snugburys for decades. The last 2 visits (March/April) have noticed a reduction of the added ingredients.. Honeycomb, Ginger, Chocolate, Pecan.etc. The basic foundation ice cream seems the same but the end product is now inferior. We have all noticed the difference. We are gutted. Plus the prices are getting higher and higher.

23 flavours of ice cream I counted not a single vegan option. Offered sorbet lol. This business needs to wake up it’s 2023.

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend a visit to Snugburys It's no wonder that their ice cream has won awards Absolutely delicious I particularly like the Rum and Raisin and Raspberry Pavlova

We visited during the pumpkin picking experience and loved it. Pumpkins were reasonably priced and also had the option to toast marshmallows which was a nice touch. In addition the food from the food van on site and the snugpuds were amazing! Highly recommend.

For me, the best ice cream you can buy, no question. They’ve installed a drive-thru, which is a genius level move, and can be staffed on busy/quiet days depending. However, there’s nothing better than stretching your legs, going up to the farmhouse counter to order, before taking a stroll into the neighbouring field to visit the straw sculpture. Where else can you do that? Nowhere, that’s where.

Snugburys Ice cream should be closed by the Highways agency. They have no correct entrance/exit strategy which causes unnecessary delays (30 minutes to travel 0.2 of a mile! Disgraceful attitude by the owners who are rude anyway.
