Smash burgers are OK. Cheeto fries are very meedy. Chips always undercooked and not crispy/crunchy AT ALL. Ordered a few times just to trial it but figured this is just how they do them. Milkshakes very overpriced.

I recently tried the smash burger and beef and bacon fries at Smash Stack, and they were fantastic! The burger had the perfect balance of crispy edges and a juicy center, with fresh toppings that really brought out the flavor. The beef and bacon fries were indulgent and delicious, with crispy fries topped with tender beef and bacon, seasoned just right. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was friendly and quick. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I want to try to be impartial... The food is good, but it is not a place to be passing through as a tourist... to pick up the food is fine. But the wait due the home delivery is very long (25 minutes for 3 burgers in our case, being the only clients ) and the place is unhealthy, it is an open market and the tables, chairs and every corner is full of animal poop, it is totally outside of what can be considered hygienic and safe.

I recently traveled all the way from London to finally experience Shake Shack, and it was absolutely worth the journey! The food was nothing short of amazing—each bite was a burst of flavor. The ShackBurger was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the crinkle-cut fries were the ideal balance of crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Don’t even get me started on the creamy, indulgent shakes—they were the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal. The service was top-notch, too. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m so glad I made the trip; Shake Shack definitely lives up to the hype! If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s worth every mile you might have to travel.

Their burgers really are very good. The patties perfectly melt in your mouth and that melted crispy cheese is wow and I’ve not seen that as a topping in other burger places but just makes the burger taste 10x better. Note they only serve beef burgers and not chicken or veg but you can get chicken next door! Highly recommended and one of the top places in Watford for burgers. Edit on 21/08/24 I’ve taken off 1 star because their delivery service is awful and takes so long

Ordered take out, triple stack burger, with burger sauce, cheese, pickles, lettuce and onions, fries and a shake. They don't toast the buns so they were soggy, and the patties were overcooked with no seasoning, overall a very mediocre burger for the price. All I could taste was bad American cheese slices and plain beef. Wouldn't recommend it.

A really friendly team who advised me on how to get the best out of their burgers. When it came it was so perfect and crispy, exactly how a smashed burger should be. Really good flavour - both meat and salad and it was not greecy. I will be returning for another excellent burger. A nice little find. I parked at the Sainsbury's (1 min walk away). This place is a small stall in a food market with communal seating. Very convenient.

Absolutely delicious with wonderful service. The menu is fun with lots of options. The bacon rashers on the burger were amazing. Everything was made fresh to order and came out piping hot! Would definitely come here again!

First time I've ordered from here, via Deliveroo. The burgers tasted delicious and not too filling. A tiny bit sloppy, buns were a bit soft, but it didn't ruin the taste of the meat or fillings. Chips were tasty and a good sized portion. Will definitely be using this place again and would recommend to people!

I really love their burgers, and get good recommendations for the sauces from the owner, which I pick biggie Mac sauce and kicking mayo and order waffle fries as well which is really crunchy. I think their patties are mixed with two kinds of meat, beef and lamb, which I absolutely think is gorgeous, plus all the fresh ingredients and tasty sauce, and the garlic mayo sauces for the fries, make my meal really enjoyable. Definitely recommend and definitely will come back.

This towering creation boasted an incredible combination of cajun mayo, turkey rashes, jalapenos, halloumi, and flamin' hot Cheetos. Each bite was a party in my mouth, with the salty Cheetos perfectly complementing the savoury flavours of the burger. Fries on Fire (and Not So Much) We couldn't resist indulging in some of their side dishes. The Flamin' Hot Cheetos and Jalapenos Cheesy Fries were a definite hit. The combination of creamy cheese sauce, spicy Cheetos, and fresh jalapenos was pure deliciousness. However, the loaded cheesy fries with turkey bacon fell a bit short. I recently had the absolute pleasure of experiencing Smash Shack for the first time, and let me tell you, i’m really impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Now, in terms of the food – where do I even begin? I decided to go all out and try a variety of items, including different burgers and loaded fries. My standout favorites were definitely the triple stack burger, the cheeto loaded fries, and the bacon loaded fries (and can we just appreciate the fact that they use halal turkey bacon?). The combination of flavors and the abundance of add-on options truly set Smash Shack apart. I couldn't get enough of the roasted Cajun mayo sauce with grilled pineapple – talk about a flavour explosion! One of the things I loved most about Smash Shack was the customization options. You can pile on as many toppings as your heart desires and even choose up to three sauces for your burger! To top it all off, we indulged in some seriously delicious shakes. I opted for the Oreo cookie shake, and we also tried the chocolate shake with whipped cream. Needless to say, we were both left craving more after every sip! Overall, Smash Shack left a lasting impression on me with its impeccable food, friendly service, and vibrant atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try more of their mouthwatering menu items!

If you want the best smash burger then check this place out! They make the best smash burgers and you can customise it to your liking! They also do Cheetos, cheesy fries which was my first time trying and I loved it! It was so cheesy, I loved the crispness from the crushed Cheetos! It also a great place to dine in I would highly recommend.

The worst eatery in Watford. What can I say: poor service, we had to wait a full 20 minutes before we were even seen to. After 15 minutes I wanted to leave but was held back by my wife. The menu was sparse and served only Halal food! We would give this 'restaurant' a wide berth, and so should you.

Smash shack is based in Watford Market and they serve smash burgers, loaded fries and shakes. We tried the following: 🍔 double smash burger with CHEETOS!!!!!!!!! 🍟 bacon loaded fries 🥤 oreo milkshake The service here is lovely and there’s a heated area to sit in if you want to have your food in the market! The smash burger was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! One of the best I’ve ever tried. I love how Cheetos were part of the burger it honestly added such a unique twist to it. The milkshake was also the perfect consistency and I loved the fact that you could really taste the Oreo. Fries were really nice and fresh and the toppings were really hearty. The portions are huge here so you will leave super full! Definitely check this place out if you’re in or around Watford!

So I'm giving this 1 star and I debated for a long time about whether I would review this place at all. I don't understand why it's rated so well with others. I think part of it is the owner is not the one making the burgers. Anyway here's the breakdown. First of all, when I ordered at the premises, I was met with a powerful body odour from the server. It was overwhelming. I ordered a simple burger with minimal ingredients and simple ensemble for maximum flavour. The beef stank and it was dry and dark, it looked as though the beef was fried then left aside on a cool part of the plate and then heated up. Secobdly the plate was not being cleaned. The beef patty was hard and the taste of it just tasted like it was reheated and stank of tallow. The way the sauces were distributed onto the burger were a circle from a squeeze bottle around the edges of the bun. So there wasn't an even spread across the bun. The sauces are probably the standard I would expect from a place like this but I'd say the toppings are average or below. It really seemed like the people preparing the food never ate burgers before and probably never worked in this kind of food preparation. I don't take any pleasure in leaving this review. But I would very much warn people away from this place considering I ended up throwing mine in the bin. The buns are also the same brand you get from Sainsbury's, so take from that what you will. Burgers are sacred and I've probably only found 3 good burger experiences in London. So when I saw people giving this 5 stars, I was surprised. But it seems to h y came from early days when the place opened. I had it once before a long time ago and remembered it wasn't great back then either. Perhaps the owner or whoever started it should go back and quality check the food. It was inedible in my opinion. My apologies, but far better burger places exist that are closing down because people don't know any better.

Myself and colleagues have been ordering from smash shack since their opening. We've thoroughly enjoyed their food and would have happily called it our new favourite take out... However... Over the past 3 months it appears standards have slipped in primarily the food itself and service. The portion sizes are smaller, the burger fillings are much smaller, they have swapped normal bacon for turkey bacon without any notification on their website and affiliated delivery websites (Deliveroo etc). There have been frequent cases of paid for fillings being missed from the burgers, fries/waffles not arriving with the orders. I wouldn't degrade a company by giving them a 1* review as up until recently Smash Shack have been great. It would be a real shame to see this company nose dive from poor standards. If things improve, we may consider ordering in the future however, you have lost well over 30 customers from our custom alone. Such a shame to see a place with potential start to drop the ball like this.

Absolutely incredible! From the sauce to the bun, I loved every bite of my triple 9oz burger and can’t wait to come back to try more! The beef patties were packed full of flavour, the pickles and lettuce were fresh and crispy and the cheese? Both the cheddar and the halloumi were delicious. I unreservedly recommend.

One of the best smash burgers I’ve tried so far. Usually not a big fan of smash patties, but these guys got it spot on. Freshly made, very decent portions and most importantly the taste of the meat and other ingredients couldn’t be faulted during my visit.

Just treated myself today with Smash Shack 6oz double burger and potato waffles and had a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the authentic flavour ful lip smacking smash burger. 👌 Haven't had such a proper one anywhere else really. I was happy to choose my own sauces and toppings like cheese ,caramelised onions, jalapeños and dip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for halal smash burgers!

Definitely the best smash burger in Watford. The patties are expertly grilled, the bread is high quality and soft, the sauces are amazing, tomatoes and other vegetables always fresh. The potato waffles are delicious and super crispy and travel very well. First time I discovered this place I ordered thrice in the span of a single week.

Food was really good in general! Unfortunately however it’s only 3 stars on this occasion due to the location & seating. The benches were all covered in mud & dirt. None of the heaters were working so had to sit in the freezing cold with my wife & toddler. If you’re planning on visiting this place in the winter months I suggest you wrap up extra warm & bring something to clean your own table!

We ordered via UberEATS and the food travels well. The burgers tasted great and you can tell the meat has a good meat to fat ratio. The burger patties were seasoned and cooked great. I would say next time I will get the plain fries. Also wish an option for a meal existed.

I have ordered from Smash Shack many times and the burgers are just AMAZING!! You customise your own burger, which I really like, and they have some uniqe options to add like halloumi and jalapeños! 🥰😍 The meat is (omg!) so so juicy and nice, it makes my mouth water jut thinking about it! I love how it is not your regular rounded shape too! The guys at Smash Shack don't hold back on the fillings, as every time I've ordered, my burger has been oozing with flavourful sauces and every bite has been filled with my toppings! Out of the many many times I've ordered, only yesterday there was an error with my order. I called them and asked if anything was possible to be done. It was only a matter of a mixup between jalapeños and pickles, but they were so so nice, they sent me another burger and even a complomentary milkshake! 😭💗 It was also quite a late order, so I'm not sure if they were assisting me even after their working times. These guys will go above and beyond for their customers, so I definately recommend them! Thank you Smash Shack for your amazing service! I will definately be ordering from you again! 🥰😍

WOW. This place truly defined what a quality smash burger should taste like. Greatly assembled burger,quality patties and their house sauce, all was 10/10. They also do a range of quality milkshakes and service is second to none. Convenient seating adjacent to the unit- what an experience!
