Smash Shack in Watford

Today was my first experience at the Smash Shack & I am genuinely so happy I tried it. I opted for the double smash with cheese, lettuce, onions & pickles with a big mac sauce. I went with a side of sweet potato fries and garlic mayo dip It was absolutely.... amazing, so yummy. I belive its very hard to find a GOOD burger but I'm very happy I've now found one local to me & will deffinetly be back

the food was absolutely amazing, lots of flavours and so juicy, exactly how a good smash burger should be, Also the gentlemen that delivered was really friendly. top place for sure

This was the first time having food from this place and it was absolutely incredible the food was the best I’ve ever had and the service was top notch, will definitely be having again when I’m visiting London.

It's okay. Not great for 10 pounds for burger to be honest. I got chips and cheese which came with cold cheese sauce which meant the chips were mushy and the burger was below average. Not great and I wouldn't go again

Tried for first time tonight, via deliveroo had 2 x triple burgers, and the chips with cheetos and jalapeños and cheese sauce.. Absolutely lovely! Delicious! Will definitely be ordering again soon! Thank you. :)

The burgers are absolutely amazing! Free & unlimited topping choices. Both fries & shakes are great, especially sweet potato fries are the authentic kind 😉

we ordered cheesy chips and there was no cheese on the chips and was about 5 chips in the box was awful for the price. and the milkshakes again for the price was not pleasing

said you had delivered my milkshakes but you never did

I still haven't received my order, and it has been showing as "delivered" for the last hour. I called the restaurant a couple of times, and they keep saying it will be delivered in the next 10 minutes. My kids have been waiting for their food for the past three hours. This is really frustrating. I'm considering posting about this poor service on Twitter.

Arrived on time. Food was hot too. All tasted really great. We LOVE the milkshakes

Delivery driver could be ask to come to door also put it as Delivered even tho he wasnt here i had to walk outside and up to hes car to get the food as he couldnt be ask to walk up the stairs he also phone me as he said he didnt know my address

called four times each time was told it would be with me on a few minutes, food hasn't as of yet shown up and was ment to be here 20 minutes ago. shown as delivered on just eat app but have had nothing dropped off.

Had a classic cheeseburger and a hand whipped milkshake they were both amazing in flavor and taste would definitely recommend. Price wise it seems similar to a lot of the fast food around the area so not too bad.

Most I’ve ever spent on burgers, ordered as a special birthday treat for my daughter and her friends. It was so late, they didn’t have time to eat together. Twice, the app claimed it had been delivered when it hadn’t. Honesty over a) forgetting the (pre-ordered) delivery time and b) the lateness would have been more respectful.

Their burgers really are very good. The patties perfectly melt in your mouth and that melted crispy cheese is wow and I’ve not seen that as a topping in other burger places but just makes the burger taste 10x better. Note they only serve beef burgers and not chicken or veg but you can get chicken next door! Highly recommended and one of the top places in Watford for burgers. Edit on 21/08/24 I’ve taken off 2 stars because their delivery service is awful and takes so long. This has happened multiple times now yet they constantly ask you to order through their website.

Smash burgers are OK. Cheeto fries are very meedy. Chips always undercooked and not crispy/crunchy AT ALL. Ordered a few times just to trial it but figured this is just how they do them. Milkshakes very overpriced.

The burger was still warm, fries were cold. They said it was prepared and on its way, went past the delivery time, I pressed the late button, then suddenly it said it wasn't prepared or on it's way. I was also expecting something for free but no.

I recently tried the smash burger and beef and bacon fries at Smash Stack, and they were fantastic! The burger had the perfect balance of crispy edges and a juicy center, with fresh toppings that really brought out the flavor. The beef and bacon fries were indulgent and delicious, with crispy fries topped with tender beef and bacon, seasoned just right. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was friendly and quick. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

I want to try to be impartial... The food is good, but it is not a place to be passing through as a tourist... to pick up the food is fine. But the wait due the home delivery is very long (25 minutes for 3 burgers in our case, being the only clients ) and the place is unhealthy, it is an open market and the tables, chairs and every corner is full of animal poop, it is totally outside of what can be considered hygienic and safe.

I recently traveled all the way from London to finally experience Shake Shack, and it was absolutely worth the journey! The food was nothing short of amazing—each bite was a burst of flavor. The ShackBurger was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the crinkle-cut fries were the ideal balance of crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Don’t even get me started on the creamy, indulgent shakes—they were the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic meal. The service was top-notch, too. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m so glad I made the trip; Shake Shack definitely lives up to the hype! If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s worth every mile you might have to travel.

Soggy burger buns, overcooked and unseasoned beef patties. Way too overpriced for the standard of food.

Ordered take out, triple stack burger, with burger sauce, cheese, pickles, lettuce and onions, fries and a shake. They don't toast the buns so they were soggy, and the patties were overcooked with no seasoning, overall a very mediocre burger for the price. All I could taste was bad American cheese slices and plain beef. Wouldn't recommend it.

A really friendly team who advised me on how to get the best out of their burgers. When it came it was so perfect and crispy, exactly how a smashed burger should be. Really good flavour - both meat and salad and it was not greecy. I will be returning for another excellent burger. A nice little find. I parked at the Sainsbury's (1 min walk away). This place is a small stall in a food market with communal seating. Very convenient.

First time I've ordered from here, via Deliveroo. The burgers tasted delicious and not too filling. A tiny bit sloppy, buns were a bit soft, but it didn't ruin the taste of the meat or fillings. Chips were tasty and a good sized portion. Will definitely be using this place again and would recommend to people!

I really love their burgers, and get good recommendations for the sauces from the owner, which I pick biggie Mac sauce and kicking mayo and order waffle fries as well which is really crunchy. I think their patties are mixed with two kinds of meat, beef and lamb, which I absolutely think is gorgeous, plus all the fresh ingredients and tasty sauce, and the garlic mayo sauces for the fries, make my meal really enjoyable. Definitely recommend and definitely will come back.

These beauties were loaded with Biggie Mac sauce and kicking mayo, creating a flavour explosion in every bite. The patties themselves were cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and bursting with juice on the inside. For the adventurous eaters, the Triple 9oz smash burger is a must-try. This towering creation boasted an incredible combination of cajun mayo, turkey rashes, jalapenos, halloumi, and flamin' hot Cheetos. Each bite was a party in my mouth, with the salty Cheetos perfectly complementing the savoury flavours of the burger. Fries on Fire (and Not So Much) We couldn't resist indulging in some of their side dishes. The Flamin' Hot Cheetos and Jalapenos Cheesy Fries were a definite hit. The combination of creamy cheese sauce, spicy Cheetos, and fresh jalapenos was pure deliciousness. However, the loaded cheesy fries with turkey bacon fell a bit short. While the cheese sauce was plentiful, the overall flavour profile lacked the punch we were hoping for. Shake It Up Thankfully, the milkshakes saved the day (and our taste buds)! Just maybe skip the turkey bacon cheese fries this time unless you love really cheesy fries.
