Best pizza around Alty. Big waits at peak time, reading the other reviews I guess it’s because many orders are very large. Speaks for itself! Worth the wait, great service too, if you find yourself waiting for a longer time they chuck freebies in. Luuuuurv the pizza variety. I also love the choc cake. Did I mention it’s good?

Had 30 pizzas delivered for my birthday. Great price, easy to book, very friendly attentive staff. All delivered on time. Everybody absolutely loved them. Such amazing authentic Italian pizzas. Chicken pizza especially lovely and the crusts were amazing. Thank you. 👍🏻

We waited 2 hours, yes 2 hours for our pizza delivery. Although Smash provided free (unwanted) desserts, by this point no one in the family even wanted to eat. A real shame as the pizzas are very good usually.

Cannot compliment the food enough from here. Every delivery has been great, usually pretty fast but obviously during peak times delivery may understandably take a bit longer. Price is cheaper than that of dominoes or Pizza Hut and can honestly say the pizzas and sides are higher quality. My mum is also gluten free and it can be a pain for her sometimes to get deliveries, but the gluten free base she claims is actually really good too and, touch wood, she has not had any cross-contamination issues. Please keep up the good work! Thanks ☺️

Second time having a pizza on a gluten free base from here. It was delicious. I couldn't tell it was gluten free. Plain fries are great too. Great prompt & friendly service. I made a mistake when ordering & forgot to order GF but it wasn't a problem at all, a quick phone call sorted it out. Excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this place.

We had the meal deal for 4, a duck pizza and the hot spicy one. Chicken tenders the garlic sharer and 4 tins, as always these are the best pizza's we're had.

Having reviewed the reviews online we ordered pizzas, wings, mozzarella sticks and fries. We were not disappointed the pizzas were tasty, generously prepared and very light. The wings and mozzarella great amd the fries, well fries, they were good but I think some people overrated them. If you want good food well prepared and efficiently handled Smash is the place, you will not be disappointed.

Always great food from Smash Pizza

Very good pizza considering that it's just a takeaway place. I would say at real italian pizzeria level. Good deals every week. I need to mention that their fries are one of the best I ever had in my life! Only little negative note, not much of vegetarian pizza flavours. I would add at least 2 more to the once that are already available.

Had 4 amazing pizzas. Bases are clearly done in a pizza oven, lovely and soft and with a wonderful flavour. Had 2 portions of chips between us too, and by far the best takeaway chips we’ve ever had. Excellent food!

30 minutes late, had to chase order and when arrived one of the pizzas was not what we had ordered. Trying to support local business but this just isn’t good enough. No communication at any delays.

Great pizzas but collection time for a family order was 1hr 15 mins at Saturday around 6 oclock

Excellent customer service! I ordered online but quickly realised I’d ordered a collection instead of delivery- I called and Smash rectified the problem and for a (small) delivery charge my order was delivered hot and with no faff! Pizza and sides were delicious.

Order due to arrive between 20.05-20.25. I rang takeaway at 20.30 told order left 5 minutes ago and they didn’t know why the just sat app was stating the time it was. Pizza was luke warm and Vegan Lemon Cake slice was very thin for £4.95 though it was all delicious .

Disappointed - wouldn't order again. Heavy pizza dough and under cooked (onions not cooked through) for the price expected much better (£44 for 3 standard sized takeaway pizzas + chips). Quick delivery, good quality ingredients used - just wished the pizzas bases were less stodgy and properly cooked.

Enjoy the pizzas but it took 1hr 15mins to get to us! The staff lied to us saying the pizzas would be 25mins and then again saying they were sent out for delivery after 30 mins but the Uber eats driver said they’d only just called him. I can understand if they’re busy but they should tell the truth about how long the order will be.This keeps happening and not just to us! Shame really.

I’d waited quite a while before trying this place out mainly due to what seem to me to be relatively high prices even though the reviews all seemed good. I use Harlequin across the road usually who are always spot on and good value. Anyway the time had finally come so I got my order in online where I was given a time slot. When I hadn’t heard anything approaching the allotted time I called and was told it would be another ten minutes. After five minutes I got it the car to go and collect the pizza only to get a call saying it was going to be another ten minutes. I decided there was no point going back in the house and thought I might as well go and wait at the shop. To my surprise when I got to the shop the pizza was ready which was odd as I only live a couple of minutes away. On opening the box at home I was met with an under cooked stone cold mess. How that had happened I haven’t a clue. I couldn’t be bothered complaining so I chucked it in the bin and made myself a butty and vowed never to set foot in the place again. See you soon Harlequin.

always use smash, the pizzas are fresh and very nice, but today the delivery and communication was bad. said my food was delivered when it wasn't, then I had to ring up to chase it up, for another 45mins to be added on. when it came, it was beautiful, but extremely frustrating to wait so long and order at 6.20pm and recieved at 8.15pm

Incredible pizza and very good wings and chips. 14" En-doo-ya: 9.5/10 The Nduja Pizza is absolutely amazing, dough is so good that you can eat it by itself with no sauce or water, not too thick or thin and the right amount of chew. The sauce is perfectly mellow, not too acidic or sweet and compliments the toppings, the Nduja is perfectly salty and spicy and tastes great. The salami and chorizo add to the perfect salty and spicy balance as well and the mozzarella is the perfect amount. If I'd gotten it fresh instead of takeaway, I would give it an 11/10, gold standard for Pizza. Garlic Salted fries: 8/10 Well salted with good garlic taste, not too overpowering, not sure what it's like fresh but mine had gotten a bit too soft and some grease was at the bottom, still great despite that. BBQ wings: 7/10 Good wings that taste similar to pizza Hutt but fresher and honestly better, nice sweetness. Hot wings: 8/10 Good wings, rated a bit higher because I like spicy food more, same positives as BBQ wings but with good amount of spicy heat. I was very very satisfied with this, the sides were good but the pizza is so bloody amazing, seriously, get the 14", the pizza dough is so good that I'm sure any of their Pizza's will be at least a 7/10. I'm sure everyone on this list would be bumped up by at least 1 point if I'd eaten in person. Next time I visit Manchester, I'll go there in person with family, I'm so annoyed that I live in a small town where the best we have is dominoes or pizza Hutt.

Arrived 20 mins late but food was good and hot

Ordered an 11 inch pizza around 30 minutes before closing time. I ordered the Red Pesto pizza and added nduja and feta, this pizza came within 15 minutes of ordering and they had given me a 13 inch pizza with no extra charge! Very generous on toppings, beautiful dough and all round amazing pizza! Would totally recommend Smash Pizza. The pizza travelled extremely well and tasted as if it was fresh out of the kitchen. Amazing place all round!
