Slug & Lettuce - County Hall in Lambeth

Maybe the worst food I’ve ever had while traveling. It was inedible. The only thing that wasn’t disgusting was the fries. The chicken skewers with BBQ sauce and cherries should never see the light of day. This is a tourist trap to the nth degree and only exists because of its location. I would urge anyone to never eat here. Truly terrible food.

Great atmosphere, gluten free menu available, sadly the chips which are on the GF menu, are not 100% safe due to cross contamination, but the burger was really good. Music was great and despite it being very busy service was fab. Shout out to Josh who was a legend.

The food was absolutely lovely!!(if a little expensive but it’s London). There was only one server working, however MZ was doing an amazing job! Looking after us and being as speedy as could be. The atmosphere was lovely with low lighting and good vibes! Would come again 🫶

This restaurant is located near the London Eye, and it’s quite spacious with a nice atmosphere, including a bar counter. However, the quality of the food and drinks was average, and the wait time for our meals was extremely long—over 45 minutes. Since we had tickets for another attraction, we had to inquire about our order, only to find out that it had been overlooked. Additionally, the restaurant’s security was quite poor. During our meal, we noticed a thief attempting to open our backpack to steal from us, which was very frightening. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place due to the service issues and lack of security.

A great night at slug & lettuce county hall made all the better by MZ who served us our drinks and made us smile.

Most awful experience of bottomless brunch. Two rounds of drinks came wrong and we were waiting over 15 minutes for drinks. Also bad service, there was an issue with our last drinks and this was made aware to staff and nothing was done about it.

We went here for bottomless brunch today for my sisters birthday and it was possibly the worst bottomless brunch I have ever done. The service was extremely slow we have been to slug and lettuce bottomless brunch before in other venues and it has been amazing but here the service was extremely slow and poor it took atleast 16 minutes for our drinks to come out when there was only 3 tables in there!! When our drinks finally came they were all wrong and then when we spoke to a staff member about our problems she said she would come back over and never did. Will not be coming back here unfortunately.

Really moody bar staff. Badly made cocktails, and no care whatsoever about customer satisfaction. They need training in customer service!

I was served by a young man by the name of Reece, he was very pleasant and very polite. He made suggestions which were helpful and service was quick. An amazing place, will definitely be back again.

Service, drinks, atmosphere were magnificent. The tree was a fascinating centrepiece and a wonderful launchpad for conversation. Two for one drinks were flowing freely and our waiter MZ was both welcoming and friendly.

Arrived and was seated quickly, waited for our server to return only to realise after 20 minutes that we needed to order either at the bar or via the app. App would not work so the bar it was. Ordered and paid only to see a service charge applied.. what service? * cocktails are £13 for 4 sips and a glass of ice *Starters came out and were lovely, however servers came to clear plates before we had all finished *as the starter plates left the table the mains were placed down, food stone cold and disgusting. *Took plate back to the bar and server nodded, took food back but didn’t mention another word. *15 minutes later no replacement or apology, or refund. *went to bar to order another drink and ask for my refund.. refund given but then server just walked away ignoring my request to be served a drink. Spoke to manager who was the only person to apologise, however by this point I wanted out of the restaurant as I was starving and had to find food elsewhere. Email has been sent; let’s see if you have the decency to reply.

Had an excellent bottomless brunch at slug and lettuce and the service was great. Rob made sure our drinks were topped up at all times so we got our moneys worth.
