Just been to the Ital8an evening. Oh my goodness! Absolutely fantastic .. as usual. The food was spectacular. As I said to Charleen and Andrew... the food was better than that served at my son's wedding... a Michelin starred (and Green Michelin star) restaurant in Italy. Have been coming for many years... tonight was amazing. Thank you

This is a lovely little place and the atmosphere is great. Food is nice only small point would be keeping the food warm. It wasn't exactly piping hot, but apart from that delightful

What an absolute gem of a place. It's like sitting in a room with family yet there's people who you've never met! Wonderful atmosphere, devine food. I love how much the people will share there knowledge of the dishes with you and my absolute favorite thing to tell people is how you're dishes are served with the foods from their allotment! Worth every penny. If you have any room left, then I suggest grabbing a coffee & order them truffles 👌 wonderful couple who run the place 10/10

This place is on another level, the food is stupendous, and the concept of changing the menu monthly is fresh. The ambience of the place is good also. You feel as though you are dining in a unique place

Fabulous ambience, amazing food and lovely hosts

FINALLY got round to coming here for a meal. Had to pre book our meals a week before and take our own alcohol which is a genius move on the proprietors part. Table booked for 7pm as was the others. When everyone sat down our meals began to arrive. Now, this is where we realised WHY it's called Slow Food Kitchen. Everybody in the restaurant gets their meals at the same time - the starters come out for every table, you eat, the plates are cleared then you wait for your main. The waiting times are longer than usual restaurants but, once you realise that this is the way this restaurant works, you don't care. All the mains came out together for all the tables then the desserts. You are then offered fresh coffee. The restaurant itself is beautiful. So small and intimate. An old LP playing in the corner and nice lighting. THE FOOD. As it's December its the Christmas menu. I chose the goats cheese wrapped in walnut pastry starter, beef suet main and sherry trifle for dessert. I thought the starter would be all pastry and a little cheese, nope, big wedge of cheese inside beautifully light walnut pastry. The suet - wow - thin suet crust absolutely rammed with the most gorgeous beef I've ever tasted. Not an ounce of fat. It was delicious. The trifle was beautiful, just a hint of sherry and a good size portion. It was £30 per person but it really was worth more. It's an entire evening's experience and we will definitely be returning.

Stunning food and a great atmosphere. Love the fact the menu changes every month. Service is always great and you can take your own wine. Fabulous place and worth a try.

Have been hear more times than I can remember over the years. This is easily the best place to eat around hear and for the money I'd be very surprised if anyone can find better. Andrew is a genius in the kitchen and Charlene makes you feel relaxed and welcome as soon as you walk in the door. And makes amazing cheesecake. Book a table and come eat hear I promise you wont be disappointed.

Another great,wholesome and quality meal at the slow food kitchen in oakworth . This small venue always has an interesting choice ,all cooked perfectly,and served with a smile . We went with our neighbours tonight who said it was the best meal they had had for ages.

An easy 5 stars! Not only was the food outstanding with lots of home grown produce freshly picked that morning, the owners are absolutely wonderful! Very friendly, nice personal service & attentive. Highly recommend this sophisticated, yet quirky restaurant. I will most definitely be returning. I already can't wait & I was only there yesterday!

One of the best nights out I've had in a long while. With just 10 covers tonight and a single sitting, all served at the same time, it wasn't quite family style but had a family feel. I enjoyed every dish but regretted some of my choices. That's the problem when you could have chosen any of the options on the menu and enjoyed all of them. Everything was a bit special from booking to paying and leaving. I just wish I didn't live 200 miles away or i'd be along every month to catch the changing menus. Excellent. Thank you.

Fantastic. I travel a lot for work both in the UK and abroad. What has been achieved in this small restaurant in Oakworth knocked my socks off. Really excellent food and tremendous service. Please locals support this place we are lucky to have Slow Food Kitchen....

Really impressed with this place. It’s a relatively short menu which changes on a monthly basis which offers really high quality seasonal foods using a lot of locally sourced ingredients. I had one of the best French onion soups I’ve ever tasted and the beef cheek suet pudding was exceptional and just what was needed on a bitterly cold evening. It isn’t licences but you can bring your own drinks, no corkage is charged. The hostess is very knowledgeable about the menu, efficient and friendly.

The food is amazing, and the atmosphere will cheer anybody up! Great people focused on quality! Bravo

The food and service was absolutely incredible on Friday night! This restaurant is such a gem to have at our doorstep and myself and my partner cannot wait to try out the monthly delivery meals. Perfect! 😃

There is nothing we don't love about this place. The menu changes monthly, everything is delicious & the dream team of Charlene & Andrew are the perfect hosts. There's no better place to eat.

The meal was exceptional. Every part of it delicious .. perfect flavours, wonderful service and just the most delightful setting in the restaurant in Oakworth. Bring your own drinks and enjoy all 3 course then add coffee and the gorgeous little truffles. Defintely going back again very soon I hadn't been for about 6 years since the team were in Keighley and can't believe I left it so long.

The food was absolutely delicious. The flavours were incredibly complex and unique. The cheese souffle was like nothing I've ever tasted, simply delightful. Same for the delicate flavours of the sea bass and fennel jam and finally, as ice cream goes, the home made salted caramel ice cream in a gingersnap basket was quite simply divine. The welcome and hosting was lovely, such nice people. A great concept in dining and the cosy atmosphere was perfect. We had a such a great time and will be coming back for the lunch menu sometime and hopefully making a regular visit to try the monthly changing menu if we can manage to get booked in with how in demand they seem to be. Couldn't recommend this place more highly. All combined it really was one of the loveliest and most delicious meals I've had. Just how great, honest food should be :)

Came for dinner over the weekend but also enjoyed takeouts through lockdown and have dined in for the evening meals too. Absolutely cannot fault anything, food is delicious everytime and is ran by a really friendly down to earth couple. If you get chance to try the muhammara make sure you do, absolutely divine!! Can't wait to come back.

Update - No longer in Skipton... After a week of eating in Skipton it was great to finally have a really good meal with excellent wines by the glass as well. Some interesting flavours and the small plates format works well for us as we like variety. Worth coming back to Skipton for.

Went last night for my birthday. Had a perfect evening, lovely atmosphere, not too many tables packed in and felt really looked after by the host who was friendly, welcoming and clearly extremely passionate about the food! We had the caramelised onion tart and raclette for starters, which were lovely, however it was the baked aubergine with jewelled Persian love rice that blew us away, absolutely stunning dish which I'll definitely be coming back for! Can't wait to go back!

Great place. Beautiful food from a small but well thought out menu, something for everyone. Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. I could recommend it to anyone and will certainly be going back.

We have been to this restaurant around 5 times in the past year and every time we have had an amazing experience. The menu is relatively small, compared to some restaurants (especially chains) but what it lacks in choice, it makes up for in quality, the food is phenomenal. Give slow food kitchen a try, you won't find better food in skipton, and for only 3 courses for £25. We will be back.

Absolutely superb!! Obviously read all the rave reviews before we booked. Far outweighed my expectations!! Had the 3 courses for £25 which was worth every penny. Food was exceptional and delicious. Had a choice of 5 different dishes for starter, mains and puds. All slightly different from the norm which was a refreshing change. Restaurant had a lovely warm atmosphere and decor was quite quirky. Owners were lovely and couldn't do more to accommodate. Its also a plus that you take your own booze which keeps the costs down. The only niggle I found was that we booked the 6pm sitting and the next sitting was 8pm. Although we weren't made to feel pressured by the owners, we felt aware to finish on time. Saying that it wouldn't deter us from returning, we would just book the later sitting.

It was our first time here. Loved the atmosphere, decor, service and the beautiful food. We will definitely be back.

We were able to book the restaurant for our wedding meal and had a wonderful evening here. The food was amazing (as always!) and being able to bring your own drinks is so nice. They were really accommodating for us and this and the beautiful space made a perfect atmosphere. Thank you, we will definitely be back again!

Five of us dined here last night and everyone loved their choice of amazingly delicious food. The option to bring your own wine is such a bonus and the friendly welcome and information we received on each dish on the menu was a delight! I want to shout it from the roof tops what a fantastic place this is and on the other hand I want to keep it a secret and only share with friends.....best not be selfish though 😜

My husband booked a meal here for my birthday and they did not disappoint, the food was amazingly delicious! Lovely staff and atmosphere too. I'm already looking forward to the next time we visit the Slow Food Kitchen.

The restaurant was recommended and having walked past a few times in Skipton , I had booked for a Friday night. A small quaint place. We were taken through the menu basically all starters. Now we are not for big portions but really because the menu was starters/antipasta/meze/tapas most dishes were bread based. The German platter was a mix of deli meats and cheese I can get in Lidl and being part German - I was not impressed. The Turkish plate was a little more interesting with a lovely Dukka seasoning on the hummus but more bread and not very inspired . We then had mackerel with a bean stew. 10 beans in an insipid thin sauce that had no taste, and served on bread. Disappointing Customer toilets in the main kitchen divided by a thin curtain-I would say does not meet food hygiene regulations, and your receipt on a bit of handwritten paper. I would not recommend it.
