Skye Candle Factory in Highland

Stopped and ordered two coffees and two pastries plus 2 glasses of water. The coffee came in a reasonable time and pastries 5 minutes later, the water never came. The coffee was hot and OK. The pastries we were told were “fresh from the kitchen” were an odd texture and did not taste too fresh. When I paid quoting the table number they got the wrong order. The building looked very smart but I was disappointed with the food and service so would not recommend this place

So much potential in a lovely location but the staff have no interest in being there. The food choice was ok but the actual food was poor for the price.

The building is very welcoming - spacious, bright and with great amenities. The staff in the restaurant were polite and helpful but the meals were poor. My first choice was not available (early during lunchtime) - I opted for a bagel which was greasy on the outside and soggy on the inside. The menu choice was limited. Disappointing.

Stopped to visit the candle factory. Wasn’t worth stopping. Not a lot of choice. And what they did have were expensive. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. Cannot comment on the food.

Stopped for a bite to eat at what was old Aros centre which was fantastic stop for bite to eat Now Skye candle company. Huge billboard outside that said breakfasts. We arrived at 1130. Told only can get cake and coffee til 12. Online says breakfasts til 12. Very disappointed. Won’t be back
