Sizzlin massala in Cheshire West and Chester

We’ve not eaten food from here before but wow, we’ve been missing out. We had our food delivered and was hot and earlier than scheduled (bonus) we would highly recommend this place to anyone. Compliments to the chef. Can’t wait for next time.

Used to like this place because it was nice and cheap. Not anymore. Food is medium to poor and some staff are very rude! Full price now for young kids (12 and a young 12 at that!) was much better when previous owner ran it. £65 for 2 adults and a kid!

Unfortunately the starters were delivered incorrectly chicken chat and paneer starter instead of onion bhaji but what we had was hot and tasty we will still order from here again as it is an unusual experience from this normally reliable restaurant

Hot and full of flavour as always, only thing is the massala tray had been squished a bit and some of the massala had come out and over the items, none of the chicken just curry, not complaining wanted to make aware it happend.

Great food, both really enjoyed our meals and would definitely order again!

1. The quantity is very very less even for one person. 2. First they said food is not halal, another person said food is halal. They are not sure. 3. Atmosphere is dead 4. Taste is below average 5. Waiter was rude.

Our food is always great, we order at least once a week, shame they don’t offer so much as a free papodom on orders over say £50 as we spend a fortune and even when Ive asked we don’t receive, think the least they could do on customers orders over a certain value would be to offer some free papadoms. As I say shame as we order and spend a lot but obviously not treated as valued customers. Plenty more Indians restaurants we can use from now on though.

Only 2 poppadoms and we paid for 4. Chicken in the curry was very overcooked. Other than that food was tasty.

Delivery estimated 50-70 mins delivered 65mins. Food was hot. The meals were really nice quality and plentiful

Came here as I thought I’d give it an go. Me and my partner decided on getting take out option rather than eating in. Place looked very clean and well maintained but unfortunately I couldn’t say the same for the korma. Definitely wasn't for me. Looked very tasty opening but upon trying it I felt like I was eating a bowl of sugar. The taste was so overpowering that I couldn’t enjoy any other flavours in the meal. I'm a big korma fan but this had to be one of the most sweetest I’ve ever tried. 😪

WORM IN FOOD PLEASE AVOID!! The star is for the lovely Front of house/waitress as she was their only saving grace. We had booked a Father’s Day meal and decided to all have the buffet. Just after we sat down to eat our meal a WORM! a worm crawled out from my Sister’s plate. We all stopped eating immediately in disgust. No manager or Chef came to address the situation. The waitress sharply took the plate and the worm away and acknowledged that it was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse the manager tried to make us pay for both my parent’s meals as they had already started to eat before the worm was found. Unbelievable!! Disgusting!! Poor food hygiene. This could make people seriously ill. I will be contacting The department of environmental Health to escalate this incident further.

Excellent night out from start to finish. Restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. Service excellent, food delicious and prices very reasonable. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area. Highly recommend this restaurant for fresh delicious food and great service.

Hi I was afternoon out with my misses and both looking for afternoon tea place, both choice was Sizzlin Massala, need to say food was amazing, delicious looks spectacular as well all made fresh no dought on that at all service was professional, polite and helpful left 5 stars really worth to visit, definitely we will be back soon to explore rest of the menu 100% also price wise is really affordable many thanks Sizzlin Massala

Arrived at 7pm on a Saturday evening to find the entire restaurant being empty, barring two other tables!! How restaurants still survive in this area is beyond me as most of them appeared empty! This restaurant appears to have been recently modernised too - looked pretty good! Staff were very friendly and explained their card machine is currently not working so it was cash only today (there is a bank opposite with free cash withdrawals) On to the food... they do a very good value for money offer everyday (barring Sundays) which is as follows:- 1 popodom with chutney tray 1 starter (decent options to pick from) 1 main (good variety) 1 rice or chips 1 naan or vegetable side dish £18.95 each!!! Would I return? Yes, if I was in the area as it's a cheap meal and the food is decent quality.

Four of us dined last Thursday evening. Simply one of the best Indian meals I've ever tasted. Had a delicious mushroom starter which was divine. Great meeting Ali who was not only knowledgeable but had a wicked sense of humour. Will definitely be returning soon.

Went to this fantastic Indian restaurant on Saturday with my family Rochdale/Oldham. We ordered the chicken karahi (personally requested) with cheese naan & normal naans. This chicken karahi was absolutely stunning, authentic & exquisite! The flavours & sauce were fresh, crisp & full of spices. The soft , tender naans were to perfection as naans tend to quite rough & cardboard like after a few mins. Well portioned karahi alongside our grilled mixed starter which was flavourful, meaty & comforting Atmosphere was calm, relaxed & zen. Thank you to the owner of the restaurant for your lovely food & welcome. Thank you for our extra treat. We will definitely be coming back to this hidden gem of the North West

The worst indian food that i ever had. No taste at all. Portions were too small for the money that we paid. Also they do accept only cash and they are sending links to accept and do the payments which i don't feel any secure. Also the owner of the restaurant is rude. Never visit again.

Without exception, the food here is always fantastic. Tonight was my first try of the buffet service and it was absolutely delicious.

We visited this place on boxing day.. Food is below average and priced.quantity is like 25% you would get in other places.however I felt the service was not good as we are asian. Ambience is good. This is anything but indian except dal tadka..but guess I could eat it at my house.

It is pathetic restaurant . They overcharged customers and food quality is too pathetic although they can’t make proper authentic food as they are making Bangladeshi food on the the name of Indian restaurant and misleading local mates everywhere …..,,,,, They don’t maintain hygiene. These people must be out from running as an Indian restaurant . The food quality is indeed poor . Even these people are egoist .they pretend themselves as Indian but not they are pure Bangladeshi people and GUYS BANGLADESHI PEOPLE ARE NOT INDIAN . ITS DIFFERENT COUNTRY , THEIR FOOD IS DIFFERENT . As I was talking about food quality I bet council must do inspection their restaurant.if it still persist in future people will get sick after having sizzling food . MOREOVER , There is no Bangla curry in India , they are still making since it is in Bangladesh . well done Guys ! Don’t make fool innocent people or local mates ..please avoid this place guys !

We went here for the Sunday buffet. The service was great and we were seated quickly. There was a good range of food items available. The staff were checking the food throughout the time we were there to check if anything needed topping up. Overall it was a nice meal.

I didn't like any of the dishes as everything was just sweet. When coming to pay they don't take card so you have to go cash point never if you have bad legs or anything. Cash only as probably avoiding something

I cannot believe this place is still in business as me and my wife went for a meal and what we saw with our eyes could not experience any, where in the world the chef put his hands in his trousers and itched his backside, and then start making chapatis

The only bad thing about this place is I'm only in the area on a training course!! Absolutely astounding value, customer service and I don't think I've had a better curry. Amazing!

Ordered last night after months of searching for a curry that met our favourite curry house standards, we finally found it. Everything we ordered was amazing, bhaji, pakora, cheese nann all exceptional. In addition to that main meals were delicious. Thrilled to have found our new favourite Indian takeaway 😋

Worst curry I think I have ever had. chicken pakoras we’re soggy like not edible and soaking in oil and oil smells like and tastes like it’s not been changed regularly, rice was all starchy like they don’t know who to cook it and I didn’t know chicken was so bouncy for then, You order your food and then it tells you it has a 1 star Health and hygiene rating for only to wait an hour and a half. WORST CURRY EVER

Two and a half hour delivery, twice chased. Used them in the past quite regularly but not again. Delivery customers no longer a priority for them.

The service was terrible,they turned the lights off and scared my baby by popping champagne,no apologies what so ever and i payed 50£ for 6 almost empty plates.It is a huge scam and a huge dissapointment.I came in happy i went out fumming and starving😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡💩💩💩💩💩💩.I will never go to eat there in my life and will tell everyone i know not to get scammed by this hostile place where the staff don't even wear masks...It should be shut down.From me 0 stars.

My wife and me ordered the set meal for 2 on Monday night, everything that was included in the meal was what we would normally order with the exception of of the kebab, we usually order the mixed kebab but the food was beautiful .

Probably the best Sunday buffet I've ever had (and I've had a few 🤪) Weekly change of curry dishes. The lamb Naga Naga was unreal, outstandingly tasty. Loved the whole selection and a great welcome & service from Manic as always. Top notch 😎
