A fork, some salt and vinegar, and red currant sauce for the halloumi would have made it perfect. (I couldnt see a way to add salt & vinegar, added to notes but nothing added to food) That & delivery time let it down really.

The order never came, after an hour and a half to 2 hours, I cancelled the order. This was because the food didn't show up, the restaurant had closed meaning I couldn't contact them, and the updates said the order was being prepared and a driver was at the restaurant, obviously this was not the case.

Honestly not sure what to say. Used this chippy since launch. I also appreciate the food isn't always as amazing as the last. But recently (especially my last order) the food has gone from an 8/10... To a generous 3. Large fish with old chewy batter and minimalist cod... maybe 20% of it was edible. Not a cheap fish and chip shop either, but worth it when the food is good. Don't get complacent guys, you do an awesome job on a good day... Very disappointing. ** amended ** Ordered again and to be honest swore I'd never use again if the food was bad..... But this time it was absolutely delicious, and did justice to the high quality food I expect from this chippy. 9.7/10 this time!!! Quality. Thanks!

Food arrived very quickly, was well wrapped this time, enjoyed the Lincolnshire fishcake, chips and curry sauce. Would recommend Sisters fish and chip shop, food very nice and dealt with quickly. Next time at my sons will use again.

Ordered Gluten Free fish and chips tonight and a GF battered sausage which was amazing. Also ordered a large haddock and chips (normal not GF) and the fish was fantastic. Easily fed two people. The fish was really thick and flaked perfectly. Very good value.

Very fast service, 1st time using this service, The order was dealt with very quickly, i Used a local fish and chip shop, (Sisters), chips a little cold, could do with wrapping container to help keep food hot but fish and mushy peas very nice, The lady who delivered was very pleasant,

Use this restaurant quite regularly. And usually very happy, however this time the food was cold.... Not warm. Cold. Very disappointing.

Not sure about the Plaice - tasty but pretty greasy. Maybe cos its thinner. I'll be back, but will stick to Cod in future.

1st time ordering, in Lincoln for a few days. Chips were dry and cold, lots of small cut bits, not nice. Battered sausage again not fresh, very dry batter, I've seen bigger chicken nuggets also, they were 50p size, I've seen bigger chicken popcorn pieces. I don't know if I'm spoilt and have really great chippies in Manchester but this food was terrible and expensive. Won't use again. Poor quality food overpriced.

Food a little bit disappointing tonight. One meal came with much bigger portion of chips even though we both ordered regular. Curry sauce and peas lacked flavour and were a bit cold. Not a disaster but not as good as normal - hopefully just a one off. Please take the feedback in the spirit it is meant.

I am a regular customer but have not purchased fish for a while as have to be careful with my finances. However last Wednesday (17th) I had friends visit and as a treat decided to have fish and chips. However all three of us were very disappointed with the quality of the cod. A small part of the middle of the fish was lovely and white however the rest was very thin, dry and chewy and had to be binned. I really hope it was a poor batch and the quality improves as I do enjoy cod and chips when I do treat myself. I cannot fault Sisters in any other way just disappointed.

Fast delivery. Great chips. Fish to die for - light crispy batter and moist fish inside. As usual, no better fish n chips around these parts.

Good food shame about the delivery time as only 1 mile from the shop

Fish was good - nice and crispy and large so can’t complain, however, charging £4 for a regular chips and chucking 2 handfuls in the bottom of the fish is crazy! Simply due to price and quantity I think we will stick with visiting our local chip shop in person from now on.

Seemed quite expensive and less meal deals compared to other chippies. Also, though appreciating their online orders (delivery service) - when I'm in the shop and everything is ready, I didn't understand why I had to wait for my 'ticket' in the queuing system to be next (so not taking the initiative to serve me quicker) - so I had to wait for a lot bigger orders to be processed.

Delivered on time as usual. Delicious as usual. (And eco packaging, which must be good). Dunno what else to say!

I've ordered from Sisters several times now and never disappointed. Always delivered hot and delicious. The fish is cooked beautifully, no skin and never found a bone - tasty chips and mushy peas. Wonderful comfort food after a tough day at work. Thank you Sisters :-)

They spend so much time sorting out online orders that people who can actually be bothered to actually go to the shop and order in person are left waiting for too long a time. 25 minutes waiting in there for just a cod and chips. 6 servers behind the counter, doing what exactly? 😂. No other chippy in Lincoln makes you wait that long. And don't come back with it's all freshly made to order, as I said no other chippy is this long a wait and they are all just as tasty. Pathetic.

At thr risk of repeating myself..... awesome as always! Best chippy in these parts. The eco/paper packaging is a good thing too - maybe ditch the plastic Just Eat tape over the top of the bag tho..?

The tastiest fish and chips in the area. We usually pre-order, especially on a Friday afternoon, as it gets really busy.

For what I paid ( which was over £30) the portion size was not even close to being worth it. Also most of the chips in the tiny portions we recieved were hard, dry and not very edible.

It arrived a lot later than originally said. So because of this it was fairly cold, which didn’t matter when I saw the tiniest portion size ever for what I paid, when you’re paying over £10 for a bit of fish you’d expect it to fill you up, very expensive for very little.

6.35 pounds just for a burger what wasn't that nice deffo not worth it's money

This is the 2nd time I've used this place since George left. It's definitely not as good but it's the closest to me Hykeham has. The service is debatable though as both times I've used Sisters, I've not pre ordered, I've just walked in and placed my order. On both of these occasions, they were quick to take my order, but then they keep you waiting 20-30 minutes while they prepare all the pre orders (Hence the reason it took me so long to return). As each new pre order comes in, you can see, right in full view, my order getting left behind again. When all the orders are sorted, they then decided to do mine which gets handed without a smile, thank you, or goodbye. One of the orders from tonight was a chicken wrap which included cranberry sauce, I'd asked if the cranberry sauce could be left off, but when they eventually got round to serving me, I noticed the cranberry going on the wrap. I immediately mentioned it, and was amazed by the hostile attitude as i was questioned if it was on the order slip, when her colleague said she'd forgot to take it off, she looked as though she wanted to hit someone. Her colleague apologised to me and said it was her fault as she forgot it. When this place was first taken over by Sisters, it did seem a friendly place, but now it's just a hostile environment, and unless you pre order, you become invisible once they have your money.

These are the VERY best Fish & Chips, Fish Cakes & sides in Lincolnshire. Always cooked as I ask for to perfection. My fish was fresh, flaky and still HOT. Chips cooked to perfection & still HOT Wife's fishcakes cooked to perfection & still HOT - she even got an impromptu Birthday message - Is this looking out for a regular customer or no? I/we will be back. Thank you Gal's & Guy's.

Very disappointed tonight . Ordered 2 regular haddock and Large chips . The portion size and quality of the chips was not good . It’s a shame as the fish was very good . Won’t order from here again now very expensive £28 for 2 reg haddock and a large chips !! Wouldn’t mind if the quality was better

Just shared a large haddock , chips and curry sauce . Fish was nice but chips were very dry and didn’t taste fresh, which is disappointing for a Saturday teatime. Curry sauce tasty but a bit runny . Shame as my son had some a couple of months ago and they were excellent. Don’t think we’ll rush back . Update : ordered twice now on Just Eat . Very inconsistent. Last order was excellent. Just received a delivery tonight June 23 2 reg haddock Large fries , curry sauce and mushy peas . Portion of Large fries more like small !! And not even that fresh . Very disappointing after such a lovely meal on 3rd June . Phoned takeaway and not really interested. £28 a lot of money for a takeaway when you can get Chinese and pizza cheaper and more food !!

Fish was cooked well but the batter was tough and over cooked, chicken burger over cooked, cheesy chips had a lite dusting of cheese overall not a good experience

Over priced for the portion sizes, chips were too over cooked most were inedible.
