Sip Coffee Shop at Hood & Co in Strabane

What a lovely little place to grab a coffee while I was up on a business meeting. Fresh pastries lovely food, staff and atmosphere. Coffee is top class. We ended up nearly staying for lunch after having breakfast. Keep up the good work.

A delightful coffee shop right on the main street. Ronan who takes care of sip most days through the week is delightful and it's very clear he loves his work My 3 year old asks everyday to "go get my babychino" she gives sip the thumbs up The food is beautiful, prices very reasonable, the atmosphere is wonderful, very cosy layout 10 stars 🙂

had a lovely chilli con carne for lunch - it was the nicest ever. also had a coffee which was made from freshly ground beans lovely and hot and tasted divine -Ronan was most friendly and helpful - would highly recommend this coffee shop

This is a hidden gem offering a reasonably priced innovative menu and friendly staff. It’s creatively decorated with branded wooden coffee/tea cup platters. We stopped for a quick snack lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the individual ham and cheese quiche and coffee. Thanks David & Eileen

We are regularly driving the Dublin - Donegal road and always bemoan the lack of a good lunch spot......until today. Warm welcome and great food with the shortest of detours. We will be back!

Pulled off the main road for a stop and found a hidden gem. Seldom write reviews but this is worth it - great food and wonderful coffee, well worth the stop.

My friend and I met in Sip today " for a quick coffee" but ended up having lunch. Well, Surprise , surprise lunch was gorgeous! We weren't aware Sip did lunches until today. My friend had a delicious ham quiche with a Mediterranean salad, I had the broccoli quiche with the Med salad. Both of the quiches were obviously fresh and homebaked, cook had obviously not stinted on the broccoli in mine. The salads were bursting with flavours from homemade apple and beetroot chutney to fresh chickpea and avocado " mix". All washed down with freshly brewed coffee band served by pleasant staff - Caroline and Claire. We will return. Well done Sip!

We stopped off in Newtownstewart to break up our long journey and so glad we did. We enjoyed an enjoyable late breakfast at Sip Coffee Shop. The Coffee Shop is situated inside Hood and Co. a beautiful home interior shop. We enjoyed poached eggs, bacon, avocado, chilli oil on sourdough along with some lovely coffees. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

This coffee shop is the best about and you’ll find no better than Ronan! The food is all home made and is out of this world! The sound of laughter can be heard in the shop coming from Ronan and anyone who’s in. Ronan will make anyone welcome and ensure if it’s just a coffee and bun or Quiche and salad that it’ll be made to perfection!

Best chilli con carne I have ever tasted! The sour dough melts, salad, all delicious. Highly recommended.

Had the Chilli Con Carne and it hit the spot really well - very tasty and a decent portion. Coffee and treat afterwards finished the experience perfectly. Will definitely eat there again.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat and enjoyed a delicious chilli con carne whilst my wife had a tuna sour dough melt. Very friendly and welcoming and food was amazing. Thanks Hoods will definitely be back.

Great place to stop to break journey to Dublin. The most delicious poached eggs with avocado and chilli on divine soda bread. The cakes and scones looked so good we took some in a carry out box. Whilst breakfast was being prepared we explored the shop- really fab selection of home furnishings, furniture and trinkets . i wonder if they will ship to England ? Can’t wait to call in next time we are driving past . Thank you

Very friendly cafe, we got a sourdough tuna melt and quiche with with a side salad that I can only describe as a work of art that tasted as good as it looked! There was so much in the side salad nuts, seeds, sun dried tomatoes, balsamic, home made guacamole,red onion,beetroot,chutney, baby spinach and I'm sorry if I've missed ingredients. Gem of a find and I will defiantly be back!

Called in for lunch and had a lovely flavoursome cheese and salad toastie & goat cheese salad. The food was so tasty and the choice on the menu is excellent. Ronan looks after the place and the chat is definitely light hearted. Himself along with the girls in the shop definitely make you feel at home. Really great food, relaxing atmosphere and good chat, what’s not to like. Fab!!!!!!!.

Always a warm welcome to SIP Coffee Shop at Hood & Co! The coffee, hot chocolate (work of art) is second to none! Ronan is hilarious and makes the best coffee ever! The sweet treats and sausage rolls make for a tasty treat too!

Fantastic fresh food served in a warm and friendly atmosphere! Beautiful shop also with lots of lovely homeware! Definitely worth a visit!

We stopped here on the drive up from Dublin. The cheese soda toast with poached egg and salad was delicious, and the atmosphere very welcoming. Really lovely place to stop off. Would definitely recommend!

A really quaint coffee shop in the middle of a wonderful family run store Staff extremely friendly and make your coffee whichever way you like it. Good choice of lunch menu with lots of tasty breads all home made. For those with sweet tooth plenty of choice Well worth a visit

Love this place great food coffee and service.My husband and I love going for lunch a few days a week.Im a vegetarian and the food is all freshly cooked with home made dressings.My husband gets what he wants sausages rolls and salads he says are great.The scones and pastrys are yummy.staff are friendly and wecomes everyone.

We visited Sip on Saturday. I only realised a few days before that it existed. Have to say we had an excellent visit. The coffee is real good, the raspberry and white chocolate muffin best I've had in a very long time so fresh. Not sure of the gentleman's name but the pride he has in the store is fantastic. He treated our boys so well taking time to listen and chat to them. Definitely will be back. Great experience

Myself & my family are regular visitors to Sip & I can honestly say it serves the nicest coffee. And we always get a first class service from Ronan. He goes out of his way to make us feel welcome & serves the nicest croissants. And the soup is also definitely a highlight. We’ll be back very soon.

I love sip coffee shop,the coffee and pastries are beautiful (in fact the best I have tasted in a while) also Ronans homemade soup and fresh Wheaton bread,Your made feel very welcome,warm and friendly atmosphere.☺

The coffee shop is a very nice idea but it never seems a very relaxed place to visit - too much part of the main shop, no privacy. I have had hot chocolate on each occasion I have visited but, on each occasion, it hasn't actually been hot enough! Maybe some more thought could be given to the location of it within the shop, to the variety of food served and to the staffing of it, so that it could be a more intimate experience for customers. With no 'competition' in town there is surely potential?
