Caffe Fresco in Strabane

Stopped in during a visit locally and had a lovely breakfast here. Team were very friendly and efficient and the pancake stack can be recommended for sure. Add to that great coffee and what’s not to like.

Busy cafe. Walked in to be shouted instructions at by the waitress, then proceeded to serve the family behind me. Soup is awful - baby food consistency and way too much pepper. I only ordered this after being ignored by the extremely rude staff member. The girl on the hot drinks was helpful. Coffee was good, and the lady on the till was extremely friendly. Won't be back.

We were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our seat. (that's why it gets one star instead of none) As our order was being taken, I asked about making some changes but was told that the order had been already sent; the waitress was still standing at our table! My wife then asked for a glass of water; after three further requests this was finally delivered. Perhaps I should have kept asking for cutlery; who knows, maybe it would have eventually arrived too! The "toasted" panini was a soggy, heated (not toasted) piece of chewy something which might well have been bread in a previous life. The chicken and bacon filling was tasteless and far from filling! Fortunately, we had ordered a chip to supplement the paninis; unfortunately, the chip didn't arrive until we had asked and asked again about its whereabouts, and long after we had finished the "bread". We were on our return from a few days in Donegal when we made the unfortunate decision to call at Caffe Fresco; might I suggest that the staff here be sent on an emergency course to Donegal to learn about customer service, and perhaps also to learn to cook. The previous reviewer declared "Never Again!!"; I personally feel they were being too generous!!

I visited after a 45 minute drive to have Sunday lunch with my husband and 6 kids (2 special needs). We had to wait 10 mins for a table which was fine. Girl who called us when table was available was lovely, kind and accomodating but it went downhill from then on. There were 7 of us but only 2 menu's. I asked about kids menu and waitress rhymed off options that nobody could remember. We ordered and waited 10-15 minutes. My 2 sons kids meals came and another meal that was not ours. Then my other 2 sons fish came but it was 10mins later before chips arrived when they had fish almost eaten. I said it to the waiter. He went off and came back and was abusive to me. I asked to speak to a manager and she was also totally unprofessional and unapologitic for the poor staff. She was ignorant and so not nice. We quickly ate our almost cold meal and exited. I paid but it was the worst experience of our day. When i got to the car my husband and 5 sons all said "WE WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN! The staff and manager would need some training as how they treated us as paying customers was disgraceful and unacceptable. We would not recommend Cafe Fresco to anybody ever. A terrible experince. One to be forgotten.

Best presented, tastiest and served with 😍 battered cod n chips, i have ever had the pleasure of consuming in my 50 years of life. Thank you to the wonderful busy but not too busy staff❤️

Went in two weeks ago for Sunday lunch. Both of us ordered Fresco Burger, chips and tea. Tea served immediately. When food was served, I asked for salt and ketchup. Would have been quickers going next door to Asda. Then noticed there was no cutlery. Asked again. Waitress came back with some but said nothing as if it was normal to have to ask. Waitresses were very young and didnt appear to have any training. The Burgers (which were a Main course, consisted of a burger in a bun, some melted cheese and enough lettuce to cover the table. Nothing else, no dressing, no onions and no side dressing of coleslaw or mayo. By this time the tea was cold. I asked for some boiling water. The girl left to get it but didnt return. Asked a secong girl who eventually brought some - it was not boiling water. It was a disaster and to top it all when I checked my receipt, I saw that i had been charged £1.25 for the hot water. I told the cashier i was not impressed - she was unconcerned. I would nover to back or recommend it to anyone. John

Masks on, track and trace done but bottle neck at entry/exit and table not sanitised before we sat which seems pointless . Service was quick, friendly and attentive, food was lovely.

The club sandwich was three bits of toast, coleslaw and cheese with a dusting of chicken. Not worth the money. Bizarrely the lunch time special priced battered fish was priced at £7.50 but didn’t come with chips which were £2-£3 extra: not worth the money. Disappointing meal

This is twice now I’ve ordered delivery from here and both times ordered gluten free with other items for The rest of the non gluten family members. Delicious both times first gluten free chicken with white wine sauce and second gluten free Chilli chicken with rice. Was able to order gluten free chunky chips and Garlics too as informed they have a separate fryer. Family had a selection of other items including steak ciabatta lasagna pitta pockets and chocolate brownies.Staff very informed about cross contamination also. Highly recommend for coeliacs.

Very disappointed with breakfast this morning plate full of water from mushrooms which were black , sausages burnt on one side uncooked on other, scrambled eggs could of bounced off plate so tough to say the least it was very unpleasant , tasteless breakfast

Was in cafe fresco on Monday for lunch , food was lovely as it always is , staff friendly and fast service at all times , very clean and good atmosphere, the evening meals are very good also .

I had a lovely lunch here today. They had a large selection of made to order salads, sandwiches and hot food. I had the chicken goujon wrap and my mum had the baked potato. There was plenty of food for the price and it was fresh and tasty. I cannot comment on the hot food as we opted for the salad bar. There was also a selection of sweets and tray bakes, personally I felt they looked dried out and unappealing. The staff were wonderful and exceptionally friendly, the food was brought down to us at the table because we had my baby daughter. There is plenty of wide floor space to maneuver a pram. The baby changing facilities were fantastic!! The changing station had a soft mat and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.

Every now and again I give this place a chance to see if it has improved. Myself and husband ate one evening with our 1 year old child. Totally overpriced; The £10 price tag for my husbands burger did not include chips. A total of £28 for two adults and a child. A scandalous price for the slop we were served. The baby’s vegetables were brown and dried out and should have been put in the bin the day before. Disgraceful that this was served up to customers.

Had breakfast, which was cooked to order and fresh. Great place with reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Call for brunch my tea tasted bad had to return it! The poached eggs were hard! Coffee was watery. Not impressed at all. Will not be back!

Got seated at our table and no one came down to order our food after an hour we left because no one came to take our order.

This cafe always has an air of busyness from the number of customers through the doors, and yet there is an efficient calmness, friendliness and competence from all the staff. Matching the great staff is the great food, very good value, excellent taste and well presented.

Caffe Fresco is great to pop into for a coffee, or they do great breakfasts good choice of menu or make up your own they are always happy to help. Great for sandwiches and they do lovely soup and great dinners to , so any time of day just nice to pop in and always something to eat and have to good choice of sweet things too. The staff are great in here as well.

Visited the Café just after Christmas when many other places were closed. Located off the Asda roundabout, it's close to the Donegal border. We had a light lunch, and we enjoyed fish and chips and soup/sandwich combo. The atmosphere was quite lazy and service relaxed post festivities. Indeed it is a place to relax with a coffee and watch the world go by, although it was raining heavily outside! A bit overpriced but there was a good la carte menu with a range of drink options.

Sorry to say dissapointed with our meal.

We have been talking about going here for quite some time and today was time for a visit for lunch. The food was very good, better than we had hoped for so we intend to go back again.

Have been here several times. This was the best. All six of us had lovely meals and good service. I really enjoyed the beef fajitas and would recommend. Another in the company had salmon and loved it.

Delicious breakfast, great selection to chose from , excellent service .I had poached eggs , toasted wheaten bread and two rashers of bacon , eggs were cooked perfectly . I had a cup of coffee too and the whole breakfast was excellent.I would recommend it to anyone and have returned several times.

Went in for a meal with 2 other people friendly staff and lovely atmosphere,had the chicken caesar salad and garlics was beautiful compliments to alex for the cooking.

I visit this restaurant/cafe/coffee shop on most of my visits to Strabane - very convenient location for meeting family and friends. They do excellent sandwiches and rolls on a variety of breads in addition to a good choice of cafeteria type lunches. Well recommended.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, warm building. There was great background music and a range of private seating with plenty of room for six of us.

This is my son's favourite restaurant due to the children's menu it offers. However the service after 3pm is absolutely diabolical. The sign staying please wait to be seated when we entered meant that we were waiting at least ten minutes before any member of staff decided to show us to a table. We should have left at that stage. We were shown to our table and the menus were threw on the table and the waitress walked away without even asking if we wanted so much as a drink of water. We then waited another 20 mins before someone took our order and when I expressed my dissatisfaction at this and at the fact that other tables who had arrived after us had been served before us the waitresses attitude was dismissive and less than apologetic. I would hate to see what the service would be like in this place if staff were ac5uall under pressure and if the place was busy.

Terrible attitude from staff who appear unwilling and carelesss towards customers. Food is overpriced and poor! Will not be back!

Quiet, as it was early in the morning, but the cooked breakfast was nice and the choice was good. Would certainly go back again.

i have been going to cafe fresco since it opened some years ago and have always found the food excellent the staff are very friendly and easy to approach and service is excellent this is an extremely busy restaurant which is always avery good sign that the food is excellent i would recommend this restaurant to anyone because of how busy the restaurant is you ma have to wait a little longer for service but this in no way is a criticism and just shows how good the restaurant really is by the large number of people using it long may it continue

Long term customer and very disappointed, service was slow and very slack, wasn't offered the specials, drink order was forgotten and had to ask for the 2nd round after waiting with empty glass on our table for 15 min. Food was slow coming out and several tables around us which were seated after us got their food. Had to return the food after it was served as it was over cooked and poor quality. The manner of the staff was unprofessional and poor attitude. Won't be returning.

We travel regularly to Derry and it is always a treat to stop at Caffe Fresco for lunch or dinner. On our most recent visit, I ordered a starter of goats cheese with beetroot ice cream which should come with a health warning! It was amazing - an explosion of taste and sensations in your mouth - I had to restrain myself - almost had a "Sally" moment! I must pass on my compliments to the chef who married these two flavours. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! Can't wait to go back for more.

I go to caffe fresco quite alot and it's usually good I have to say sometimes I have been dissapointed by main course and the carvery lunches. Real reason to go here is for breakfast. Breakfast is brilliant. Kids love the pancake stack it's a real treat and not expensive the full irish is delicious and again brilliant value they even do a healthy or slimming world breakfast was is suprisingly yum too.. would advise give yourself plenty of time I have arrived 10 mins before breakfast ends been stuck in the queue and by the time they get to me they say it's too late and if ur a blimin second past I think it's 1o clock they won't budge have had very upset children more than once.

The evening meals here are expensive and the audio speakers are extremely poor relative to the price of the food. Speakers in the ceiling are not a good idea: second hand Mission speakers for wall mounting do not cost very much but look and sound expensive.

Got soup/sandwich combo, I was charged extra for having the bread toasted only one side of the sandwich wasn't toasted and the soup was full of salt. Plus it was over priced. £16.50 for two combo

Dined here tonight and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We eat here quite often and it's just gets better! The food is always consistently good, staff professional but, what makes this place is Clare the manager! She is so hospitable, attentive and professional. You see her greeting each customer exactly the same, she is a credit to this place! Those of you who know my reviews / know I'm super fussy but, eat here you won't be disappointed!

Had eaten here before and this has been the 1st time back in nearly a year. Frescos was pretty quiet when we arrived so we had the choice of most seats, not sure if the menu was what is usually on but I felt that there was very little to choose from and was quite bland to be truthful, as I have heard other people talk off how good here is. I took the steak and this was ok and my wife took escalope of chicken as she had asked about the pizza (but was told that this wasn't on as the van that sits outside was not open???) and hers was just ok as well. We had dessert and I have to say that the apple crumble was lovely. If I have to be honest I was not overlay impressed this time with my visit to Frescos.

I visited during Easter bank holiday as we were shopping in a nearby store. Similar to previous visits I was left unimpressed with this coffee shop. I ordered a smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese (from the blackboard menu ). It was only when I sat down I realised there was no cream cheese in it just lettuce. When I took a bite out of it, I realised that they had put the smoked salmon on a Sweet bagel, and this was a truly awful combination. Usually smoked salmon is served on a plain/savoury bagel with cream cheese, red onion and maybe capers. I didn't bother asking for the capers in this establishment! Others in my party were similarly unimpressed with their food. There is also room for the reorganisation of food service in this coffee shop.

this is a great local place to go for any type of meal. the food is always great quality and service very friendly. there is a wide choice on the menu to suit all tastes and also budgets.

Steak under cooked, fish raw, onion rings over cooked and hard as a brick. 4 sweet potatoes fries on the plate with a bit of lettuce and a pile of onions. Waitress trying to get us out as quick as possible. Some starters not available as they were sold out, it was a Wednesday night, would not want to eat here on a Saturday or Sunday!

Took DH here for a birthday breakfast. You queue up to order your food from a wall mounted menu, and are given a number to take to your table. Food is freshly cooked and I must say the Eggs Benedict was really lovely (Choice of salmon or bacon). Hubby polished off the Full Irish. Limited parking outside, but Asda is just a short flat walk away, with plenty of parking. Staff were efficient but not gushingly friendly. Certainly would return.

My husband and I visited this restaurant recently to try their Early Bird menu. From the minute we walked through the door, until the time we left, we were made to feel so welcome. Unlike some Early Bird menus, this was not limited to just a few choices. We were impressed with the selection of dishes avaliable. Both meals were fantastic value for money, but I have to say that I have NEVER tasted peppered salmon like it!!! To say it was sublime, is an understatement..... The dessert menu was also exceptional, with a mouthwatering selection of sweets. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed with pleasant background music. We were asked several times during our meal if everything was ok; the staff were lovely, attentive and a real credit.I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone and everyone!!Can't wait to get back for another meal. I have been in since just for a drink and was treated with the same level of courtesy as if I had been ordering a meal.Thank you all.

Superb breakfast and lunch menu here, freshly cooked to order, lower calorie options available, generous portions, friendly service. Freshly made sandwiches too! Lots of sweet treats/scones/etc too. Good coffee here, and a good range of teas. Parking just outside. Reasonably priced. All ages catered for, great for wee ones and picky eaters!! Comfy seating , got a really friendly atmosphere. I think might also open for dinner, although haven't tried that. In my numerous visits it is busy here so that says it all!

Sort of a local for us, so on shopping trip we ate here.Lovely, just lovely...... the staff here are a real asset, attentive without being overpowering and a great knowledge of the menu.To boot, local beers served that gives the place a special touch.Food great, generous portions, served quickly and it's hot.Recommended highly.

Saturday evening meal with my hubby and my 2 girls and we all had 3 courses each. The kids menu alone was fantastic and lots to choose from and very reasonable price. The early bird menu such a variety and all 3 courses so tasty great variety again and we all really enjoyed our food. Haven't been here for a while so will defo be back very soon. Cafe fresco is a great little eatery it serves everything from an ulster fry to a roast beef dinner and in between serves amazing sandwich's and pastry all freshly made to order. Spoiltforchoice it might be wholesome comfort food but it is served with style

Nice place to eat and drink. The food and drink options are not plentiful like in other places but the food is nonetheless quite delicious and the drinks are quite refreshing.

Fun, friendly, excellent value and the staff are second to none. Vegetarian menu is limited but freshly made and to a good standard.

We have been here a few times and on each occasion ordered the soup sandwich combo which has always been good. This time I ordered the lasagne from the hot plate with side salad. My husband ordered the burger and chips. By the time we actually got to pay for our lunch there were no seats left as customers who hasn't even ordered their food were reserving tables. Finally got a table only then to have the lasagne be cold. It took around 20mins for my husband's food to arrive. Burger was suppose to have fried onions in it but didn't. Chips tastes of fish so we can only assume they use the same oil to cook everything. Would go back but only to order a sandwich. Hot food was something I don't wish to repeat...

Was in today with my friend. J have often came here before for a coffee but not food. I ordered s chirzo chicken on garlic bread and my friend a healthy salad. Portion sizes are so small that i was still hungry after. My friends salad was one warm chicken breast on a few red chard leaves. That had wilted. Never again.

Do not under any circumstances order the eggs benedict !!!! You know what cafe fresco, do yourself a favour and take it off the menu. Please. Best coffee in town though.

My wife and I went for breakfast this morning we ordered the breakfast bap and a salmon bagel we were not impressed as the belfast bap had no taste whatsoever and the salmon bagel was as hard as a goats knee service for a good though.

I went there the other day and I picked chicken curry from the carvery lunch!! worst ever! Chicken was so processed, small plastic cubes of chicken! Turned my stomach! I complained to staff who were not abit nice at all. They proceeded to snigger at me when I sat back down again and I heard one of them talk about me to another customer who also ordered the chicken curry and obviously was not fussy about the plastic cubes of chicken she ate!

Eaten here several times over the years, evening meals are poor, taste and quantity. Doesn't seem like a place to eat an evening meal. Grand for coffee,snacks and maybe a light lunch during the day. Can't shake off the coffee shop image at night.....but better for food than Costa, I'm not a fan of mass produced "easy jet in flight " food being delivered by lorries....that's Costa all over.......

Never disappointed with this great Caffè. Very fast service. Lovely friendly staff and good value. Requested crispy bacon with my French toast and got my bacon crispy. Very popular with shoppers as Asda is just across the road. Busy at lunchtime with good variety of hot lunches, sandwiches etc. Good selection of cakes and great coffee. Nice selection of teas -love the Earl Grey made with tea leaves. Haven't been for evening meal but would imagine standard of food would be just as good-open most evenings until 9. Will be back.

I often dine here with friends as the food & service are excellent. I am always impressed with the menu which now offers a great Early Bird range. The food is fresh, locally sourced & of superior quality. The staff are friendly, professional & very attentive. Do not miss if in Strabane.

Stopped for breakfast with friend on Saturday morning for a treat - we each had the full breakfast - speedy service and very tasty - black and white pudding, bacon , sausages, soda, mushrooms etc all well cooked. All with a great coffeeLeft feeling very satisfied

We went to Caffe Fresco on Saturday and although its been a while since I've eaten there I thought the experience would have been better. We waited for 20 minutes and no one even came near us to see what we wanted to eat / drink. I had to ask the waitress for a menu. So a few minutes later and we had decided what we wanted and were ready to order but no sign of the waitress to take the order. We waited a further 15 minutes thinking that the waitress who had given us the menu would be back to take our order - we were wrong! I had to go looking for her and ask her to take our order. The food took about 25 minutes and it was fine but the chicken goujons were blackened as they had been overcooked and were really hard and tough to chew so in the end I couldn't even eat them. We then waited for the waitress to clear our table and wanted to order desserts and coffee. Still no show! We had to ask a fella who was sweeping the floor for a dessert menu. He brought us the menu but then after a further 15 minutes we still hadn't placed our order as the waitress never even checked on us! So once again I had to go up to the counter and place my order. The meringues for the malteser dessert are obviously shop bought as they were extremely hard and impossible to get the fork through. Overall the meal was quite good but the service was awful. I know for a fact that our waitress has worked in the industry for a number of years but it all seems a bit amateur and customer service definitely wasn't high on her agenda! And another strange thing that happened was that at about 4.30pm they turned the lights off and only had the 'dim' lights on - it was raining heavily outside and the restaurant was already really dark so there was no need to turn off the main lights as it was already extremely dark. Don't go here if you are in a hurry or expect good service!

a lovely place where you can get everything from breakfast, morning coffee, lunch or a delicious 3 course dinner. lots of variety and great value. very helpful friendly staff who will go the extra mile to meet individual needs.

Stopped off on Thursday with my Mum for a bite of tea on our way home from the hospital. Great service, great food & lovely staff. Mum & I both had pasta. Mum's was a Louisiana pasta dish & mine was a chilli chicken pasta. They were both really lovely & I would get it again. It's usually for lunch that we would stop here, but as I said we haven't been disappointed with our meals at either times. The manageress is really nice, her & the team do a great job!!!

Dined here on Friday and I opted for the chefs 'specials'. My starter was a chilli chicken & noodle dish which was unbelievely tasty. My main course was fillet of monkfish which was presented and garnished beautifully and again full of flavour. Caffe Fresco offer casual surroundings with a fine a la carte menu and good customer service will definitely revisit.

Three of us visited Caffe Fresco on Saturday evening for a birthday celebration and came away a tad disappointed. I had a fillet steak and when it arrived it reminded me of a little piece of Ireland the Yanks would buy as a souvenir in Connemara. It was twice butterflied, over cooked and definitely not rested. The tobacco onions were a mustard color and were smothered in curry powder. The waitress informed me that is how tobacco onions are made. I had a Malteser, toffee and meringue for dessert and it resembled something you might see on the pavement near a nightclub on a Sunday morning.Caffe Fresco was a good restaurant a few years ago but standards have really slipped of late. Probably why it was almost empty on Saturday evening

Always stop off here for breakfast. The best french toast and so reasonable. Bacon served crispy as requested. Staff always friendly and helpful. Great spot. Food excellent with good choice. Cakes and coffee the best.

I visited caffe fresco this evening was sat down and got an express menu full of nice options for good money don't regularly be down in strabane but visited a friend she ordered the chicken stir fry and she said it was amazing the nicest dish she's ever had and was overall a great experince, hats off to the chef

Had coffee and cakes here when shopping in the units nearby. Good coffee and reasonable range of cakes and tray bakes. Staff friendly and efficient

Just out of Cafe Fresco & had an amazing meal, flawless, would like to thank Stephanie for recommending the special tonite which was gorgeous & thanks to Rae for an amazing dessert, I would highly recommend anyone to make a booking, really enjoyed the experience, we'll be back for more

Starter was grand-main was pretty ropey had the battered fish and garlic fries both really pretty greasy to the point where it wasn't that palatable, and portions were way too big-got a deal 2 for £12 so great value for money! There was an offer on a beer for £3 with this deal too but only beer you could have was coors-selection could be better. Was very busy as it was Saint Patrick's day but service could have been better. Didn't tip because of that. Sorry for the rubbish review but more notes for improvement.

My husband and I regularly have lunch or coffee here en route to Done gal and have always been impressed by the food and the efficient accommodating pleasant staff. We stopped here last night at six thirty. On sitting down at a window table we were immediately approached by a waitress with two menus and two sets of cutlery. She immediately asked us what we would like to drink and commented that our table hadn't been wiped and said she would ask somebody to wipe it. As we were both driving we opted for a jug of tap water which was brought promptly complete with ice. We just arrived at six thirty but at no time were we told of the early bird menu which in fairness ended at six thirty. We were given plenty of time to choose from the menu but the table was never wiped. I eventually found a cloth on a nearby table and wiped it myself! The waitress who took our order was there to do just that take the order no interaction though she did advise my husband the bombay potatoes with his coronation chicken wasn't very substantial so he ordered a side of chips. I had chorizo chicken which was very nice. However the chips were fried in old oil which was not hot enough and they were soggy. They arrived three minutes before my veg just long enough to blanch the frozen veg in the boiling water! We decided to stop with the main course. All in all a very negative experience and such a contrast to daytime dining. Staff are disinterested and look unhappy. I can only surmise management changes in the evening. If so they could learn a lot from those who run the place during the day also the day staff.

I live in Strabane and come here quite often. It's a lovely place. Every time I've been here, I've been pleased with the food and the service. The breakfast is very nice, as is the desserts! I've also eaten here at night when it turns into a restaurant. As a vegetarian, I really like it as there's lots of vegetarian options. It's also incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere here is very nice and cosy and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the town.

Went to Caffe Fresco this evening with my daughter. I couldn't fault the food, was actually rather good but can;t say the same for the staff. Shown to table and drinks order taken and served but we then had to look for waitress to take order. Food served quickly enough but had to wait for chips. When finished had to keep looking for waitress again and she kept turning away when she saw us looking at her. Eventually came and lifted plates and my daughter told her our dessert order otherwise we'd likely been ignored again. Another waitress came with desserts and kind of threw them on the table. It was not particularly busy and one waitress stood chatting to customers at a table all the time we were eating main course. Will not be back to where its obvious if staff don;t know you they don't appreciate your custom.

Cafe Fresco in Strabane represents good value dining.Menu is diverse and covers all tastes.Waiting Staff are friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the Menu.Also flexible in that small bar is good but you can also bring your own wine.

Decided to get dinner in Caffe Fresco when passing through Strabane. Got a table right away and found the dimly lit setting of the restaurant to be quite stylish. I ordered two courses of the early bird menu for £12 which was good value.For starter I had the soup which came with wheaten bread and after adding a little salt found it very tasty.For my main I went for the steak sandwich cooked medium-rare. It came with chips and peppered sauce and I have to say it was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and the peppered sauce was very tasty. The bread was nice but maybe just a little hard but overall the meal was very nice.The service was good and the waitresses were friendly. A nice dinner and nice experience. I would recommend.

Staff quite friendly and looked busy. Ordered a chicken goujon wrap & tea. Wrap was not nice at all. Wilted lettuce, no taste. Walked out and left most behind.

Had lovely sandwich here on Monday. Bread was so fresh and really tasty. Coffee was nice also. Staff friendly.

Been to Caffe Fresco quite a few times and it never fails to serve good tasty food at a reasonable price. I would recommend it wholeheartedly. Great atmosphere both day and night.

i used the caffe here and there for meeting up with a friend for coffee before doing the shopping in ASDA which is beside the caffe fresco.I always liked my coffee there.

I visit at least once a month. Be it for breakfast, lunch or early bird dinner it has yet to disappoint. Service to tables can be a little slow at times especially when it's busy but that can't be helped.

I went in here a few Saturdays ago, ordered Eggs Benedict, was told it would be 10 mins as it was busy, looked around didn't look too bust, 20 mins later it appeared, little or no sauce, the egg itself was as hard as a goats toe, very disappointed!!!

Went for soup and a sandwich, wasn't busy at all and I know why. Had to tell the lady in red I wanted a chicken mayo and cheese sandwich on brown 4 times, got to the till and the girl looked at me as if I had walked into her living room at home. No greeting, just stared at me until I told her 2 soups, 1 sandwich and a pot of tea for two which must have been too hard for her to understand as I had to tell her this 3 times! Soup came and wasn't warm or nice. And barely got the 2 cups of tea out of the dirty tea pot. The staff, including the woman in red which seemed to be the manager or something, are all too interested in their phones! They seriously need to look into their customer service as it used to be a lot better.

Visited Caffe Fresco with my mother and young daughter today. After initially being greeted by a friendly and informative member of staff bringing our attention to the early bird menu beginning at 3, (it was quarter to 3 when we arrived.) And advising us that her colleague would promptly take or order when the menu came out. She served our coffees and soft drink and furnished us with the new menu. We sat at an available table and true to her word a waitress arrived to take our order. Our experience quickly went downhill from there. My mother and I ordered a main and dessert from the two course menu and my daughter from the kids menu. Our mains arrived chicken burger and goujons and my daughter's sausage and chip. The food was fine nothing to write home about. We finished our meal and waited for the table to be cleared and our dessert to arrive. 25 minutes passed and my 4 year old was getting impatient as was I. When I finally managed to get the attention of a waitress ( not the same waitress who took our order) regarding our desserts she cleared 2 of the plates and left the remaining plates and cups on the table. She came back to the table and asked what desserts we wanted. I had already told her this, but obliged and repeated said request. She again failed to clear the table. I then watched as said waitress cleaned tables around us and generally ignored us and our dirty table. Finally 45 minutes after finishing our main I drew the attention of our original waitress and dessert finally arrived. No apology was given for the wait. We finished paid and brought the long waiting time to the attention of the cashier, again no apology was given just a statement that they were busy. This is unacceptable in my humble opinion.

Called in passing through,...nice coffee & tea,....lovely apple pie,..pastry very nice and apples cooked perfectly with just a hint of a bite,....Yummy....

This place is ok for a takeaway coffee place is noisy banging of coffee machine is off putting. On a warm day it's very stuffy in there. The sandwich and rolls are nice from here but hit food is not the best.

Service was good. Staff very nice. Place needs a good cleaning. The lady at the till took my order and walked away. Just left me standing!!! However unknown to me she went to make my coffee - came back ages later with the coffee and was very nice, however she should have said where she was going.

Myself and partner love to treat ourselves to the beautiful food that is served here the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great it's definitely worth a visit. Friday or sat night is usually the nights we go.

My husband and myself ordered Full Irish Breakfast yesterday. The waitress taking the order at the counter was more interested in looking at another customer's newborn baby pictures on his phone than to be bothered with taking my order. A full 30 minutes after ordering, the two breakfasts arrived. The fried egg was cooked on a hotplate and was black and crispy on the bottom and raw on the top. The soda and potato bread seemed to have been heated in a microwave and the mushrooms cooked in a similar way. I declined the egg and was offered another egg. The staff kept watching from the cooking area as I picked at the poor offering. This was a very disappointing breakfast and the staff seemed unconcerned as to the standard of food they were serving.
