The reception area smells very damp - not a great start. Service is extremely slow and feels understaffed. Our waitress was very pleasant but clearly run ragged. The time it took for our meals to arrive (a good half hour between courses) suggested the kitchen was probably also understaffed. The whole place could do with a decor-overhaul: shabby paintwork, tatty toilet, rickety uncomfortable chairs, exposed wires tacked along the walls - it all just feels a bit tired and past its prime. The food was OK but, for the price, no better than just OK. It's certainly not dreadful, but at well over £100 for a meal for two, frankly, I'd have expected more.

4 of us visited Oysters last week, we all had something different and each of us came away feeing so satisfied with the food!

8 members of my family 7sisters and sister in law went to Oysters to celebrate a birthday...food was excellent 5 * staff very helpful and friendly..surroundings and comfort 1st class..Highly recommend try this wonderful restaurant out.

We had the high tea menu. Everything was delicious, really high standard. Highly recommend the calamari starter, best I’ve ever tasted. Pleasant, attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere.

Was staying in strabane for the night and went for lunch, food, drinks and service was amazing. Atmosphere was so nice and decor stunning . Highly recommend, felt like I was dining out posh but affordable prices

Once again a delicious lunch at Oysters with my daughter. The chefs special Beef Hotpot had loads of meat and bursting with great flavours my daughter is Vegan and with the help of the waitress and a little adapting she enjoyed an excellent Mushroom risotto. The service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our Friday lunch Highly recommend Oysters on our doorstep

We tried this restaurant tonight for the first time and it was nothing short of spectacular. The menu was varied with a wide selection of meat, chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes. I opted for the chicken liver and foie gras parfait with brioche toast for starter and my husband had the stuffed garlic mushrooms, for main course I opted for the monkfish with tiger prawns and Bombay potatoes and my husband had a sirloin steak, crab claws, peppercorn sauce, chips, and onion rings. For dessert we had a vanilla creme brulee. It was the most tasty and flavoursome food we’ve had in a very long time and we eat out often!

My favourite restaurant that never disappoints. We had Sunday lunch there today and they always push the boundaries of deliciousness. The flavours are outstanding and service on point. Why can all other restaurants not be like Oysters. Excellent food always.

Awesome food and great service. We went for a Sunday lunch and it was really the best I've had in Strabane and the surrounding area by a country mile.

First class! Amazing food, fabulously presented and wonderful attentive service. The quality of the food is superb and as a vegetarian it is great to see such variety on the menu. I was designated driver on this occasion but looking forward to my next visit to try the cocktails!

The place was dirty toilets corners and edges, toilet was dirty, table cloth was dirty the linen one, chairs were dirty. Food average. Carpet dirty. Can't use disabled toilet even when disabled, staff lovely, to dark I can say it was not good. Staff lovely

Had a delicious vegan lunch with a friend (who ate vegetarian option). Soya milk was available for coffee afterwards but not sure if this is always the case. The vegan option was also substituted with a gluten free bap for me.

A wee gem of a place. Great food and service was excellent. Our waitress went out of her way to explain the menu and all courses presented with a genuine smile. Would highly reccomend.

Clearly don't want any new customers. Phoned to book a reservation the person taking the call was so ignorant it was unbelievable. When I was about to confirm my table reservation he was rude again and cut me off while I was speaking for the 3rd time. I told him to actually forget it as his tone was awful. He then said OK and hung up on me. We won't be considering here again. If this is how they treat you when your booking a reservation I hate to think how you're treated while dining.

I had the best meal here I've ever had. We used to go here as a group a few years back and it was fantastic. We were back here last week again and it has gotten even better. Beautiful food, and wines, first class service and doesn't break the bank. Very good.

Another fantastic evening at the Oysters! As usual the food was incredible and Kevin and the team made sure everyone was well looked after.

This restaurant is stunning. The owner and staff are so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They make you feel like you are extra special guests which just makes the nigh more enjoyable. And well the food....what can I say...fresh, local, high quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. I had the scallops to start, the venison daily special for a main with gratin potato and the chocolate pave for dessert. It all looked and tasted amazing. We finished the meal with the restaurants own homemade lemoncello. The perfect way to finish a meal...light and refreshing with a slight kick. This restaurant is more expensive than other local venues but it is actually quite reasonable for the quality and experience of eating here. Three a la carte courses for three people. Top quality food at very reasonable prices. Their home made ice cream is to die for and each week the menu changes as well as the usual fish, goujons and chicken curry. Kevin is a pleasure to deal with and I like his attention to detail. I try to eat there once a week. Last week I had braised lamb shank and the lamb was so tender, the chef is a genius. We'll done Kevin and staff.

Just out of Oysters and oh my god what a restaurant! I am one of those people who is hard to please and have ate in all the AA restaurants but oh my god it is a credit to the owner the way he runs that place.Arrived and was greeted by the owner himself, very friendly and welcoming, absolutely beautiful restaurant, food was absolutely amazing, from starter to main to desert, unreal! Service fantastic, Naomi was serving our table and she is a great asset to the restaurant, very good at her job and very attentive.Cannot wait to go back.I wish Oysters would open a restaurant in Letterkenny!

Everything about Oysters is great - Pre Christmas and due to Covid-19 restrictions, I reached out inquiring if takeaway options would be available to collect. Kevin, the owner was more than accommodating to what we wanted. On collection I was able to park in the restaurant car park and the food, which was presented beautiful in takeaway containers, was brought straight from the kitchen to be placed in my car! The timing was great! The food was just beautiful, the chips were crispy and the meat was tender and full of flavour! Definitely will be recommending to others!

Just had the most delicious meal at Oysters restaurant!! From the moment we went in to the minute we left it was such a pleasant experience. The wood pigeon and mushrooms for starters were unreal with the venison and medallions of beef for mains proving to be such a feast for the palette!! Such a lovely treat after lockdown and so glad to have such a gem of a restaurant in our town. The staff were exceptionally attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Thanks for a truly delicious meal. A wonderful night last night celebrating Aoibhinns 21st in Oysters. A really warm welcome. Covid measures made us feel protected, comfortable and safe. Food was amazing. Compliments to the chef. Another visit to Oysters and again it is consistently good . The service from the front of house team, Kevin and Shannon was first class and the unseen kitchen staff are producing top quality food. Recommended aged sirloin, very good duck and accompanying side dishes. Nice gin selection too!

Wonderful meal. I ordered the seafood chowder and surf and turf and it was exceptional. Staff were superb throughout, with great conversation re my hometown Liverpool. We will be returning when we return to Strabane.

Had dinner this evening with my husband and stepdaughter. What a fabulous meal! I ordered the fillet of beef medallions, my husband had the sirloin steak and our 10 year old, the duck. Everything was cooked to perfection, the presentation was beautiful and the food absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. Already planning a return visit.

My wife and I visited last night and were treated to the usual amazing food and service. It is such a lovely dining experience and even with the C19 adaptations I was still made to feel comfortable.

Prepare for an exquisite dining experience. Our lunch was simply delicious from start to finish. In these Covid-19 times, it's not easy to make dining out pleasurable, but Oysters managed to achieve that and then some.Thank you for an absolutely fantastic lunch.

Ate here while on holiday in the area. The food and wine were delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.

Excellent food staff and social distance

Everything from beginning to end was absolutely perfect. From the beautiful cocktails when we arrived to the gorgeous starter and main. As it was my mums birthday we were surprised with a complimentary dessert. Will definitely be back as soon as we can. Highly recommended. Huge thanks to the entire team at Oysters. My Wife and myself returned to our much loved Restaurant yesterday evening. The experience was strange with the new Covid 19 regulations in place but the food, professionalism, friendliness and decor truly made our experience relaxing and non- invasive. I had the Tomato and Basil soup, which was delicious. this was followed by chili Chicken on a bed of noodles, and the Chirico, black pudding and pork sausage roll. Both mains were served with huge chunky chips, and were superbly cooked and delivered. Sweets consisted of Browne and crumble , and again both lived up to the now expected Oysters standard. All the food was taken from Oysters "early Bird" menu. Its great to see the restaurant opened again, and I`mm quite sure we will be returning again and again.

Stunning. Kevin puts his heart and soul into Oyster and it shows, I don't have the words to describe the food we just ate. The monkfish came out of the sea today!! The lengths this family go to for quality is incredible. Highly recommend ❤️

First meal out after 4 month lockdown,so it needed to be good! As usual Oysters met all expectations, not only with the fantastic food and service, but also the attention paid to the safety of staff and guests was obvious. Looking forward to going back soon.

Quality food small portions allows you to enjoy 3 courses and not feel stuffed. Early bird menu from 4-7pm mon-fri only £20 for 3 courses.
