The expérience and the food was absolutely amazing. I’d definately recommend thid restaurant to others. Very friendly stade and hard a great family.

We had an amazing time at Singam Bay. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Would highly recommend coming here to have a great time with family and friends.

Giving this place a overall 5 star. We visited here with not much expectations as it's a new place and it was my first time with a Sri Lankan cuisine, my party thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes which we had ordered. We didn't reserve a table and there was a private party going on in one area of the restaurant, but the manager found us a table despite it being busy. Taste: The chilly paneer was amazing along with bhindi. We ordered a mild dish for the kids which was butter chicken. (Not on the menu) But they made it for usz the kids really enjoyed it. The biryani was very different as it comes with some sort of pickle which is very taste and something different. The garlic mogo was very different to the usual you get in normal India restaurants. All dishes were freshly made and one can tell the difference so kudos to the chefs for providing such tasty dishes. Service: excellent service with staff doing their absolute best to give you a great experience. They were very fast with ordered and serving us. Warm plates is a good touch not often you get this in alot of restaurants. Parking: Lots of street parking available around the restaurant. I would highly recommend this if you are yet to visit. Support the local business.

We recently hosted our wedding dinner and dance at Singam Bay, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely amazing—our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. The service was first class, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The owner was incredibly communicative and accommodating throughout the entire planning process, making it easy to coordinate all the details. We hired out the entire venue, and they even managed to accommodate our DJ and let us use the projector. Later in the evening, the team seamlessly rearranged the tables to create a dance floor, which was a huge hit with our guests. If you're looking for a venue to host your event, I would highly recommend Singam Bay. They truly made our special day even more memorable!

We had wedding after party on Saturday 10th August and what an amazing service. The owner was really good and went out of his way to help us and gave us this delicious 😋 food which all the guests loved it. Just wanted to thank Abi he helped us so much and basically ran the whole party running around trying to serve all our guests and made them all feel happy and welcome. Infact all the waiters were so efficient and brilliant service 👏. Arul the owner was the best and how he helped us through setting up for the party and carried on with out plan how we wanted it to be decorated. I suggest everyone if u haven't been to Singam Bay please do go u want b disappointed. Once again thanks Arul and Abi.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, attentive service with a positive attitude and pleasant manner. An authentic Sri Lankan banana leaf thali experience. Arun - the owner even held my baby to facilitate me enjoying my meal whilst it was still hot.

Got a takeaway. The food was average at best. In my opinion there are much better South Indian places places e.g. Indian Aroma. It was busy and seemed popular with families so maybe it's not to our taste.

We had our old girls' school gathering yesterday. Food was nice and of good value for our money. Service was excellent by Karan. We enjoyed the stay and had a lovely time. Hope to visit there soon.

Had my 18th birthday there! Everyone loved it! The atmosphere was perfect, fit for the occasion. Interior was fancy and elegant alongside the outstanding service! All staff were very friendly and helpful, made the day even more special. Food was perfect, just the right amount of spice, everyone enjoyed including the kids. Cauliflower Manchurian - delicious! Chilli Paneer - not chilli at all. Paneer a little rubbery. Veg Fried Rice - extremely bland but cooked well Waiter said its a combination of South Indian and Sri Lankan food however it tasted more Sri Lankan which wasn’t to my liking. May go back but only to try their veg dosa as it’s usually the safe option.

Absolutely outstanding. Top quality food and very kind waiters. All the food was delicious and at a very affordable price. It was our first time dining in this area and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Accessibility is good, free parking available right outside Recommendations: Nethili Fry (was so good we ordered it twice!), chicken 65 and roti and lamb curry.

Nice selection of Curry dishes and Briyanis. The prawn devil is fresh and very tasty. Tried chicken Chettinadu with parotta amazing. Will go again … all the staff are nice and friendly. 👌👌

One of the best srilankan restaurants in east London

We love love love this place! It's a shame it's so far from where we live. Food is so flavorful, been twice now and we have tried a lot of their menue, absolutely amazing food! Still thinking about the chicken dosai, chicken varuval, and wattalapaam! Service is wonderful and atmosphere is perfect for a lovely evening! And not forgetting the lovely mocktails!

We had a great night here for my birthday. It’s a lovely venue. Staff were excellent and the food was exceptional. Sri Lankan cuisine, spicy and full of flavour. We will definitely visit again. Good value for money which is rare these days!

Elegant restaurant with variety of food. The food was awesome. The service here is excellent.

To find a restaurant with this type of decor in Zone 4 is unheard of. The attention and cost put into the ambience and decor of this place is akin to something you'd normally find in Mayfair! Great food too and very authentically Tamil which we loved. They were a little short staffed which meant the order could have been taken a little quicker, but can't fault them. We got the private dining area for 25 of us and had a great evening. One of the best old fashioneds I have tried in a long time too. Thanks again!

Amazing food served with a smile and really nice ambience! We held a private function here, guests were really impressed with the delicious food, in particular the mutton devil, veechu roti, kothu, mixed grill… all really yum! Spice and flavours 👌🏻 perfect! Arud and his team are really welcoming and attentive! Being able to use the projector was a fantastic feature at our function! Will definitely be visiting again soon to try more of the menu! This is an amazing place to take your family and friends. I called at short notice to book a table on Mother's Day and despite being really busy with bookings, they went out of their way and rearranged their bookings to accommodate us. I would say this is a decent restaurant in the Gantshill area. Very spacious, great ambience, excellent staff & service. And importantly the hygiene standards are superb. This will be great choice for Birthday parties and other celebrations.

It is so disappointing and unlawful practice, we ordered some food and drinks and on the menu the cobra bear says £3.50 but they charged me £5.75 each then when I checked the bill and asked the manager what is that he said it small beer price but I told no size was mentioned on the menu not even the staff told , he said it his wish not to mention all the prices on the menu, such an arrogant manager he said it his restaurant he doesn’t need to mention on menu , I was shocked to listen these type of comments in uk which I have never come across in my life. They are cheaters would never recommend anymore. Food is also very bad in taste . Waste of money .

Food and service can be a lot better.

The food when served was cold. We ordered the most basic thing (Dosa) and that also was not properly cooked. The sambhar had no salt in it. There was a huge group on the other table and the staff was just occupied with them.

A decent enough casual dining experience in Dec 23, but not to be repeated. Not sure if I went to the same restaurant that most people in these reviews went to. The most basic of items on the south Indian menu - the coconut chutney - lacked any flavour. My medu vada, another staple menu item was too doughy and dense, no fluffiness at all and hence too heavy on the palate. Even the sambar was too thick and lacked any punch or flavour. So disappointed! The chilli Mogo in the starters was well prepared with fresh garlic, but a large chunk of the fries were too fibrous to enjoy the dish. Surely the chef would have known when cutting the vegetable and preparing the dish. My Egg Kothu was reasonable although the roti was again a bit doughy in parts and not cooked thoroughly. Flavour was good. Unfortunately the paneer dosa was a disappointment. Too thick a dosa (making it Doughy and not crispy at all), flavourless sambar and a bit cold by the time it got to the table. This dish could not even be finished, although it is one of our favourite dosa in most South Indian restaurants. Even though the staff were very pleasant and happy to please, the very industrial design of the interior meant the whole experience was a bit cold and one not to be repeated soon, unfortunately. I had gone in with high hopes after reading the earlier reviews, but hey, it happens.
