Griller (Ilford Lane) in Redbridge

Ordered 8 wings and a wrap, made me wait 30 mins. I thought the wings would blow my mind but they are average. So I'm left wondering why the hell does it take so long ?

Pleasantly surprised with this place. I ordered the Mixed Platter which came with a whole chicken, tenders, wings, chips, rice and salad. I got Lemon and Herb flavour so the kids could have some too. I requested Medium sauce separately which they kindly gave. The chicken tasted really good. Nice and fresh and a very big size. The tenders felt like just normal chicken cut up and then covered in sauce so I wasn't a fan of that. Wings were really nice. The rice was pretty good and the chips were great. Definitely recommend this place.

Driest wings ever. Horrible and cold. Staff couldn’t be bothered to check to see if they are appropriate for serving. Should have been binned. Chips were nice and cooked to order.

I ordered grill chicken strips, and a chicken fillet burger meal. The grilled strips were 10/10, I will definitely be having them again. The fries were also really good, freshly cooked and crunchy. The chicken fillet burger was slightly disappointing, it tastes like it was marinated in the same sort of sauce they use for the grilled chicken, and then breadcrumbed and fried. This made for an unusual taste, but I reckon if they fix that recipe it would have also been 10/10 because the chicken fillet itself was a good size, it was properly cooked, and the bread/salad were also decent.

Very dissapointed. We ordered take out, 3 doner kebabs, they charged around £7 each and size was 1/3 of a standard doner kebab portion in London. Rip off.... taste was awful. The option you get with it is pitta bread or tortilla! For a spicy doner they probably just drizzle chilly sauce! Never again.

Love their food really liked the Peri Peri burger and Sizzler burger.

Personally wouldn't really visit again. Service is abysmal as I had to prompt staff on multiple occasions to give missing items and drinks. Fried chicken wings were disgusting and produced a strange after taste despite being fresh out of the fryer so 1/5 on the fried chicken. Peri grilled chicken is ok but tasted a little gamey - 3/5 for grilled chicken. Other establishments are far better with much better value for money.

Just had an amazing dinner at Griller in Ilford. We were indecisive at the beginning about what to order but the lovely gentleman in the counter helped us to order. Their Extra hot grilled chicken and wings were really tasty 🤤 The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is nice with some nice Bollywood music!
